La Farandole saved my vacation. Impeccable location with a private beach. Staff were super friendly and made checking in pleasant and helped with every request and wish we had. We stayed at the newly built villa, which had an amazing pool (felt like a private luxury pool). Our room was clean and met our expectations. We only ate one dessert at the up stairs restaurant, so I can't really review the food completely, but the tiramisu was excellent. Also the views from the restaurant were spectacular, especially during the sunset. La Farandole is a perfect couples get away with a very good location, only a couple km walk from Sanary Sur Mer which had good restaurant and shops. We will definitely visit again.

This hotel is really beautiful, close to the beach to the outrageous, the room is also very beautiful, invincible sea view, sitting on the balcony and looking at the sea view in front of you, absolutely.

This hotel is outstanding on all fronts and we enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, greeted in the foyer and overlooking the pool and beach below, we were so pleased to be here! We asked about a sea-view and were upgraded for a fee per night. Our room was overlooking the water on the top level with a balcony which we enjoyed so very much. We visited the restaurant on our first day for lunch as we waited for our room to be ready and enjoyed and the service, champagne and food were wonderful. Overall, our housekeeping was good and the attention by the pool upstairs, including aperol spritz in the afternoon, were fabulous. We also enjoyed cocktails in the lobby areas on the sofas and the bartender was outstanding. We asked for a car ride to the train station our last morning and all worked out quite well--lovely gent and again, great front desk staff. Highly recommend this fantastic escape as it is located just a short walk to the village and would make for a romantic getaway anytime! We would gladly return!

Unbelievably disappointed with this hotel and a majority of its staff. We experienced a tragic void of cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality during our entire stay at the Mercure Hotel in Toulon, France. Unfortunately, our fruitless attempts to resolve these issues directly with on-site management (which does not exist) and corporate personnel (impossible to contact) leave us feeling violated of our dignity and robbed of our time and money. We hope the following information will help others in the future, including travelers, hospitality staff, Sébastien Bazin, Gilles Pélisson, and the like. CLEANLINESS: Upon our arrival, we could literally see dust and dirt on all of the shelves, counter tops, balconies and floors of the hotel and room. Even the carpet in the room was so dirty it stained the bottom of our clean socks. The toilet room smelled bad, like, well, a used toilet. We politely asked for it to be cleaned, however, no one ever came, not even to freshen up the room at any point during our stay. COMFORT: The air conditioning did not work in our room, ever. When we spoke to the front desk staff about the sweltering temperature of 90 degrees F in our room (even though the thermostat read 16 C) and were informed to “leave the room for awhile to let it work”. We left at 3:30PM and returned at 11PM to a less sweltering temperature of 85 degrees F in our room. We asked staff member available, Alexi/Alex at the front desk, if he could fix the thermostat. He begrudgingly came to take a look and was profusely sweating after one minute in the room. He could not turn on the air conditioning even though the thermostat read the same 16C. He said we could open the window, but that would just let in the bugs in and turn off the air completely. He also suggested we leave the room to wait 15 minutes for it to turn on…? Given that that strategy did not work when suggested earlier, we asked for a different room with working air conditioning. He laughed at us and said no because it would not make his manager happy. We said we would happily speak to the manager about the issue and he laughed again, said no, and stated management is not available on the weekends. We then asked for some sort of a solution and Alexi/Alex appeared annoyed and said “there is nothing to be done” and that he had to get back to his “other duties” at the hotel. Turns out it was actually the end of his shift and he did not want to stay any longer that his end time to deal with this problem. We noted that the sheets and bedding were surprisingly all polyester, which doesn’t breathe like cotton, and acts like a heat conductor and made it more difficult to achieve sleep. He laughed again and said all the rooms are the same and there is nothing to be done. We went back to the front desk to ask for help from the next staff member and found that the only person available was a very kind, intelligent security guard named Cherkre(sp?). What a treat! We stumbled upon this hotel online and decided to stay there for a night on our way to a rented house in Nice after reading all the great reviews. it's all true! This hotel is a true gem. Stylish design, great service, good food, etc. Really a 5-star experience. We arrived at night and enjoyed amazing drinks and food in the beautiful garden; woke up in our beautiful room and had a delicious breakfast before enjoying a day by the pool. Very friendly and helpful staff, with everyone going beyond expectations to accommodate. All around a great stay and we will be back.

The hotel is nice and very convenient to say at. The parking is on-site and easy. The Hotel Staff is EXCELLENT and great to work with. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with fresh baked bread and eggs made to my request.

I very much enjoyed staying at OKKO Hotels Toulon Center. This hotel has a perfect location, provides nice snacks and drinks, and has new facilities. It's the best bang for the buck! The hotel staff was also great. They were always so kind and gentle. I'm sure that I would stay at the hotel when I visit Toulon again.

My wife and myself have just stayed at this hotel. The room was adequate, clean and smart, and had air conditioning. The air conditioning wasn't working correctly at first but after a quick visit by front desk staff who reset it it worked well - lucky as it was during a heatwave and the windows don't open at this hotel. There is limited parking immediately outside the hotel entrance or you can use the underground hotel car park accessed by the ramp right beside the main entrance. Breakfast was perhaps a little underwhelming compared to other Holiday Inn's as the selection was limited but the quality of what was there was good. This is a city centre hotel so ideal for business people or if you want to explore the city centre, otherwise I would look elsewhere for a room. All the staff were great that we met, professional, polite, friendly and very helpful.
