"Breakfast is relatively simple, just like several hotels around, safe and quiet area, health is acceptable. After living for a week, I feel that the entire hotel will not have more than ten employees."

"This is one very well kept and ran property if you find yourself on the road traveling to New Orlean or some other southern states, I truly had a great night sleep in what has to be one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on at a hotel in a super of the moment choices while I’ve been traveling around lately. The mattresses where plush and very welcoming to a tire body. Definitely stop here if your on the road in Jackson Mississippi on I-55. You will not regret it."
"This was a great hotel to stay at. It had a very nice lobby area, clean rooms, and friendly staff! Even though we were traveling as a large group, with 12 children under the age of 15, we received respect and openness from the staff. The breakfast was varied and absolutely delicious, felt like healthy and real food, which can be very hard to come by when you are on the road. Great choice!!"
"Overall, excellent stay!! I requested a crib for my baby, but they provided a pack n play. I wish they would have a more hygienic option. There were stains on it and we were told there was no sheet for it. Don’t let this hold you back from staying, just bring your own pack n play from home! We WILL stay here again!!!"

"I recently visited Residence Inn by Marriott, Ridgeland, MS. I was greeted by Ms. Precious Thompson. I was using my points as she verified that during check-in. I was not aware that I would need to still apply my credit card as a deposit because I had booked the room online. Ms. Thompson took the time to explain the process to me and reflected that most members were not informed during booking that they would still need to apply a credit card. I was very pleased that Ms. Thompson took the time to explain the process to me, because I had used my point on previous Marriott hotel stays and I would receive a credit card charge pending but no one explained or did not have the knowledge as to why. Ms. Thompson explained that each hotel process is different and, in the future, to ensure that I ask the question to the representative before booking. I really appreciate Ms. Precious Thompson following up with me to ensure my room was okay and if there was anything else that she could help me with. Thanks, Ms. Precious Thompson and keep up the Great work!!!!!! Respectfully, Mr. William H Reid, Jr "
"Five stars staff! I stayed here back in July and failed to get the front desk clerk’s name. This time I made sure that I did so. Sheila at the front desk really went above and beyond to ensure that my mother and I received a room that met her particular needs. Driving from out of town, we arrived earlier than planned. Sheila was able to get us a first floor room and even pushed my Mom in her wheelchair to the room as I managed our luggage. Then when we discovered that my mother couldn’t navigate the room, Sheila assigned us another room. Denise ensured the room was clean. And both Sheila and Denise assisted us to the new room. I usually don’t leave hotel reviews because once I return home or travel on, I get bogged down and forget. The customer service here was so phenomenal that I made sure to do the review before leaving. Both of my stays the hotel was clean. But I’ve stayed at RI across the country and I think these are the smallest rooms that I’ve ever seen. Also the re weren’t any usb outlets or internet tv found at many Marriott properties. Lastly, on my former visit, I noticed that players on the basketball court often threw the ball over or through the net spaces; hitting parked cars. One vehicle was hit so hard, I’m sure that it had to get dented. This is the disabled parking area, so those who park there might not have a choice to move to another spot. So, the facility gets two stars. (5+2)/2=3.5"
"Located just E of I-55 near the County Line Road exit, this is a hospitable Residence Inn location. The room is spacious with full kitchen, dining table, sofa, separate bedroom, 2 TV's, and combination bathtub/shower. The bedding is comfortable, and there is plenty of lighting and electrical outlets. The heating/AC unit is right there in the wall of the bedroom. If you have the heat or AC turned on high, you will definitely hear it running and it will also blast onto the bed. There is an exercise room (one treadmill, one elliptical, one cycle, and free weights) and pool area. Free hot breakfast offers eggs, bacon, oatmeal, waffles, breads, yogurt, coffee and juices. All the staff are very courteous and friendly."

"First the location-The fact that this property is not directly off the main highway was a plus for the quietness.. It is surrounded by a new business area which includes an ALF and some medical practices. In other words quiet. Second-General Manager Jeff and staff were responsive and quick to handle any requests. Room was ultra clean and-yes! quiet. Hallelujah a perfect night sleep. This property does encourage mask wearing and guests were pretty good about this as well. My guess is that the location again is a factor. Hot breakfast has returned and it was quite good. Thank you Jeff and staff!"
"Very clean, friendly and quiet (any room will be quiet) hotel. Second time we have stayed here. Close to great places to eat and new area of north Jackson. Very close to the Natchez Trace Parkway which is why we were there the first time. This time we stayed just traveling back home from Louisiana. Everything was very clean and felt very safe during this weird time. Take the time to drive up 55, a short distance, from Jackson to stay here. Its worth it!!"
"I was able to get the hotel for my travel basketball team on short notice. The service was greatly appreciated, considering we had 2 groups of kids. They helped making sure it was plenty of breakfast for the kids!! Local restaurants were a plus. Great area with everything you need in a short distance."

"Upon arrival, I was informed that I would not get the king bed room I reserved months ago and would have to get a double room due to area flooding in town. I applaud the hotel accommodating flood victims, but would have appreciated it more if they accommodated them with the rooms that weren't already reserved. I handed the clerk my tax exemption form as this was a business trip. He assured me it would be applied. Two nights later, I noticed the pending charge on my credit card was approximately $70 more than what it should have been. The clerk that evening explained that the appropriate charges would be corrected, that the tax exemption letter was on file and no taxes would be charged to my credit card. Upon checkout, taxes were charged to my credit card and the bill had to be corrected. This should be a very simple process as it is with every other hotel I've stayed in. Was it the end of the world? No, but this demonstrated fundamental incompetence. The first gentleman i spoke with at check-in (room change and tax exemption) and the 2nd gentleman I spoke with concerning the tax exemption were not rude, but both demonstrated an "oh, well..too bad" demeanor. Ashley, the young lady who assisted me at checkout, was very helpful and corrected the problem the previous two clerks didn't handle for me. Additionally, Ashley checked with me via the Hilton app during my 3-night stay to see how everything was going. i really appreciated her caring demeanor each time I encountered her, be it via the app or in person. Ashley should be commended for the fine service she extended to me throughout my stay, and she wasn't aware of anything I encountered until checkout. FOR ROOM 343 ONLY: Overall, the room was comfortable. There were a few minor problems with the room that nothing but a little better attention by the cleaning crew couldn't address. Places of mildew growing across the top of the shower and on some wallpaper above the toilet. The toilet had water stains that could easily have been mistaken as "other" stains and the toilet hardware in the tank leaked, causing it to refill itself every few minutes. Additionally, the freezer in the refrigerator could have used a good wiping down, and the cabinet door below the sink was broken and wouldn't close. Otherwise, the room was fine. I will add that upon checking out, Ashley already had mentioned to maintenance what I communicated with her and the maintenance man was inquiring with her which room she was referring to. Hopefully, the next person who has my room will find those thing corrected."
"This suite was nice as far as space in the suite. However, I had to wait 30 minutes past the stated checkin time because it wasn’t ready and even then, it was only barely clean and felt quite dingy. There was dust on the lights & fixtures, crumbs under the edge of the kitchen toekick, chairs were stained & worn and the walls badly need a coat of paint. "
"This place is average for Mississippi but just doesn't live up to Hilton Standards. I travel extensively for work and always stay at Hilton properties. This one just doesn't measure up. There's not 1 particular thing , its everything just not what I've come to expect from a hilton property."

"First, I have to say I am a Platinum Elite member of Rewards Club. I stayed in this property from Sunday 18 October to Thursday, 22 October, I was kind of surprised by the way this particular property did business. All of the signage from pre-pandemic days were up telling how light housekeeping was accomplished Mon-Friday daily ... making beds, emptying trash and replacing towels daily. Not until Monday evening came around did I find out none of this was done. You put dirty towels out by the door daily .. they would be picked up and you had to go to the front desk to get new ones ... no one mentioned this. The trash had to be put at the front door if you wanted it dumped...it got picked up one day out of four. I was in room 209 ... the furniture was old and extremely dirty. The green chair in the room had a mismatched back cushion and had stains all over it. It was nasty and needed to be removed/replaced. The coffee table in the front room of the suite consisted of two end tables pushed together ... they were light wood and there was an old dark wood cabinet that held the ancient Phillips “flat screen” television. The back was off the remove in both the front room and the bedroom. The couch in the front room was overtly dirty complete with stains. The bathroom had obvious dirt and hair in every corner of the room. The tub/shower had pubes from the last guest in the tub. There was a common soap, shampoo, conditioner holder — nasty for COVID-19 days that had soap film on it. Bottom line, there was no hot food, the coffee in the pot was made once a day and left behind the desk. The entire property needs to be updated as it was more like a lower level hotel than an IHG property. Very, very disappointing. The American flag on the pole in the front of the property had been allowed to essential rot on the pole...not very patriotic while capturing the spirit of this Staybridge Suite property. Bottom line, I wouldn’t stay here again. The bed was clean and comfortable."
"The hotel was a usual Staybridge Suite with all the amenities you would expect. The evening social is always a super plan, however it would be great if they could label the food with common allergens. Travelling with two people who cannot eat gluten free food it is often a guess and see approach, which isn’t the best. The same for breakfast, we had no idea what cereals we could eat so had to stick primarily to eggs and cheese. In the uk everything has to be labelled, I can’t wait for that to come over here."
"We got a two bedroom suite which was comfortable and clean the beds are very comfortable. Free laudramat, cookies, breakfast and supper. Peggie at the front desk is a delight. The room had a refrigerator, dishwasher, silverware, a microwave, and dishes."

"I've stayed here for over a year and never experienced the price breaks promised (by a third party with the same name as the corporation) even though I booked 90 days at a time and brought in 3 other guests—one of whom ended up staying for a year, as well. There is significant lack of communication between the corporate guest relations, reservations and on-site management. On-site employees are unfailingly hospitable, gracious and always try to please. Corporate staff seem to not understand the day-to-day operations of a hotel. Problem-solving definitely occurs at the local level."
"I stopped in Ridgeland to take care of some business, and ended up having to stay overnight. The stay was quite a nice one . The service was quick, room / areas clean, a pleasurable experience. Thank you"
"The staff here are amazingly kind, friendly and most of all understanding. This is my favorite location to book. It’s always clean, orderly and i never have any issues being accommodated. Thank you!!!"

"Recently visited H2SJR and were disappointed with the condition of the hotel. This is the fourth H2S we have stayed visited in the last 2 months and we loved all the other locations so this was especially disappointing. On the way to our room the carpets were stained in numerous locations and the walls in the hallway were all marked up. In our room(317) our couch had multiple stains and a rip in it. My bedside lamp had a built in receptacle but is was crushed and unusable. In our room the walls were also marked up and the tiles at the base of the shower door were kind of grungy. Dispite this location we are fans of Home 2 Suites and will give them another try."
"This hotel was my home away from home for 3 days. The staff was polite. My room was clean and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and perfect for those early mornings that I had to get to the office. "
"Alvin and his team were world class!! Consistently provided a high level of quality and care daily during my 2 month stay ++.... I highly recommend this location for anyone visiting for work or leisure in this area!!"

"We stopped in during a heavy downpour last week. The rooms were immaculate and a fantastic price. The front desk agent Andrea was particularly helpful, friendly, and professional. A grocery store and restaurants are extremely close by."
"Found the hotel room, lobby and breakfast areas clean and inviting.Room was inexpensive, large enough and comfortable.Bed was a king and was excellent.I've stayed in higher price hotels that where not as good. There are plenty of dining locations nearby and the hotels location right off I-55 is an added plus.Would stay again should I drive thru this area."
"Overall good stay, there was some mold/mildew around the outlet plug on one wall, and the shower curtain was stained at the bottom. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Overall the hotel was clean and we had no problems. Location was close to interstate and easy to find everything we wanted during our stay."
