The suites are great. Very spacious. Clean. Great amenities for a lengthy stay. My floor was quiet and I could not hear noises from other rooms at all. Beds are comfy. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a grab and go (Covid related I am assuming as their is quite a large dining area that is closed). As good of options as possible to take back to your room as one could expect I would say. One suggestion would be to add bread as an option as well. The one big downside to my stay was, the security presence was alarming. I figured out why after the last three nights. My room was facing the parking lot and another hotel. Throughout the night and into the morning there is constant yelling, flighting swearing and screaming from other hotel guests lingering around outside. I think the security folks are doing their best by being a presence but it’s not enough to prevent the constant disruption. I’m going to try moving “across the hall” to the other side of the hotel, assuming it will be better as i won’t be facing the hotel parking lot. Aside from this issue, the hotel is pretty darn perfect. Thus why I gave it 4 stars. Unfortunately, the constant sleep interruptions is a major issue.

The hotel was nice and the rooms were large (King room with living and kitchen). However, we stayed at the residence inn twice in a two week period. The first time the room had a very sour gross smell (like someone had been sick near the bed). After mentioning it to the front desk we got an apology. The second time we stayed there was a large (kids) hockey group staying at the hotel. This resulted in kids playing hockey in the hallways, running and screaming up and down the hall. We had to call the front desk both nights that we were there, both of which didn’t result in less noise. Traveling with a baby that needs sleep before having a 20 hour trip home, not successful at this property. Upon check out we did mention our dissatisfaction to which we got the response that they were aware and have had more complaints. I get it’s not the staffs fault but takin action to have them settle down, or offer compensation to guests who weren’t satisfied with there stay would have been the least. Would not recommend staying here due to the nature of their business (large kids groups)

Room was clean, modern, and quite. We were at the end of a hall, so that probably helped. We stayed in a bi-level King suite, which I would highly recommend. The view from the room was not pretty, just a roof of an adjacent building. However we are not in Winnipeg to look out the hotel room window. Bed was very comfortable and the excellent water pressure in the shower was wonderful. At night, the living room area was rather dark and could use a lighting upgrade. Hotel staff were very friendly, from the breakfast (they should have a sign saying ”please seat yourself” - as guests sometimes wait a while for host to come over and tell them to seat where ever they want) to the pleasant staff at the front desk. Always lots of staff at reception, so no waiting. Although we didn't use the pool area, we looked at it, and it was one of the most appealing looking hotel pools we've ever seen. We used the attached underground parking for 5 days - no issues. Parking area is quite large with numerous levels, would seem to be ample space. Easy in/out access throughout the day.

A short one night stay for business. It took a while to get to the hotel as it gets very busy when there is a hockey game or other events. I had a large pickup truck from the rental agency which was a challenge to park in the underground parking. One of the staff helped me navigate the monster truck to an open spot down on the 3rd or 4th level. The room was fine, the gym functional and the lounge is somewhat basic in terms of offering and breakfast for elite members.

Fantastic hotel. Clean, modern. Stayed with family of 4. Pool is small but clean. Kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was very good, bacon and eggs, muffins, cereal. Nice location close to outlet mall (crossing the busy street if walking is not ideal). We would stay here again if we are looking to spend most of our time in the outlet mall area.

This is a brand new hotel right next to the outlet mall, Ikea, and cool restaurants. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly, room was a King studio and was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Good parking. There is 24 hour coffee service, free breakfast and bar service. I will be booking this hotel many times in the future!

We stayed one night on a cross country driving trip. We didn’t experience all of the facilities but the room was great, very comfortable and had a great sleep. The front desk staff were so pleasant. We had a very minor issue with the room which was looked at immediately and fixed. The manager offered us complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience which was such a nice surprise and then had 2 follow up calls from front desk checking up on us. There was a big winter storm and we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant instead of venturing out again. I almost gave this review 4 stars because the dinner was disappointing and expensive. The main courses were a bit tasteless and had to be sent back to be reheated. But I knew it might be hit and miss before we went in so I decided to stick with my original 5 stars for the great hotel staff and a great sleep.

Starting the with friendly shuttle drivers to the check-in staff to the nice clean rooms that the amazing housekeeping department always make sure your room is spotless. Don’t forget to check out the breakfast. The breakfast staff is amazing always there to make sure your in need of nothing beautiful Buffet and a really nice breakfast menu. This property has a pool, hot tub and don’t forget to check out the dry sauna, this location is prime location for travel right by the airport. There’s a grocery store within walking distance there’s a mall that’s really close by this property is basically is a home away from home beautiful rooms spacious. Thanks Hilton staff for making it a home away from home.

I've stayed here many times. The first time, I was blown away at how great it was. The customer service was exceptional. The food was perfect in every way. The overall service was so friendly and professional. I literally loved it like a home away from home. We just stayed there again for 9 nights. I couldn't believe the change in everything. The room was in very poor repair. The blackout blind was broken and sticking out. The cupboard door to the fridge was half broken off. The room didn't give you that really clean feeling. Very dusty like it hadn't been used in a very long time. Every day I had to go down to the front desk because either my key didn't work, or the cleaning staff didn't replenish cups and glasses. We even had to ask for another bath towel. They only left one towel for my husband and I (are we supposed to share???). We asked for 2 glasses. They said they didn't have any and that there was a shortage of glasses. Then we asked the cleaning staff again and they looked at us like we were crazy when we told them that there was apparently a glass shortage in the hotel. So we got 2 glasses that we had to wash ourselves everyday. The worst was the dinner food. WOW!!! Terrible. I ordered the caesar salad. They cut a head of romaine....drizzled some dressing on it with boxed croutons and some bacon bits ( I think ) and served it like that. So basicially I was cutting up a head of romaine and eating the lettuce like that. It was horrible. They still charged me but brought me a bowl of vegetable soup (canned) instead. The room was actually never cleaned.....only the bed was made and some towels were changed. Very disappointing after having an incredibly impressive stay a few years ago. I hope they get their act together and do something about all this. New management may help. The outdoor patio was also not available to use.

The hotel is very clean and tidy, and the decoration is relatively modern. The location is definitely the best, the area is very lively at night and very safe. Opposite the Human Rights Museum, the view is superb. There are plenty of parking spaces, but the price is a bit expensive. The only downside is that there is no swimming pool.

Generally, this a very nice hotel and the price is amazing given its central location. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the modern feel of our room. We were well stocked with clean towels, and bedding was comfy and clean. As cons, you could tell looking at the nooks and crannies along the walls that a more thorough cleaning is needed soon. Housekeeping was also unavailable for two days of our stay due to staff shortages. While this didn't really affect us, and I do appreciate there are industry wide issues, it's something to keep in mind if you require daily cleaning. Truthfully, our biggest issue was the noise and disturbances outside that we heard at night. Again, this isn't the hotel's fault by any means but potential visitors should be aware. Although we only stayed 3 nights, I got woken up frequently by ambulances, police car sirens, racing cars, and once even by a 4am altercation outside on Portage. We were all the way up on the 14th floor. Ear plugs helped but it didn't dull out everything. So, if you're noise sensitive, maybe ask for a room facing Ellice or Hargrave? Parking at the nearby secured Indigo parkade is also $20/day so don't forget to factor that into your budgeting.

I enjoyed staying at Alt hotel in winnipeg. The design of the room was phenomenal - loved the high ceiling bathroom in my suite, the view of winnipeg downtown, and overall interesting placement of items and textures of the room itself. A lot of thought went into the decision making of the rooms and it payed off. I had forgotten my little music speaker at home but the alarm clock had a Bluetooth speaker so that was great! The hotel is in a good location to access downtown restaurants, etc. The Merchant restaurant right next to the hotel had delicious food! The gym was nice and spacious. The staff were all helpful and rooms were kept clean! I will stay again, thank you.

Big room, bright spotless bathroom, lots of hot water and the bed was very comfortable. TV & remote did not work well. Carpet was old and worn. Twice we had to order face cloths. The phone system did not work well, the ”messages” left for us did not register. Family and friends complained about the phones not working well. The restaurant not opening until 9:30 a.m. was inconvenient. The fact that at times it didn't feel very safe just outside the main door. That was unnerving. For many years we've enjoyed our stay at the Norwood but this time was disappointing.

Our room wasn’t clean. There was pink cupcake icing all over the floor. The chair was wet . obviously it was wiped down because it probably had icing all over it, so no where to sit. You could tell there was a little kids birthday party on the 4 th floor as icing was also in the hallways. Our bathroom sink didn’t drain was full of water the whole weekend.
