"This hotel is simply fantastic, from the newly renovated rooms to service to food. Rooms are spacious, elegant and cosy. All switches and buttons in the room are so smartly designed that they are very intuitive and easy to maneuver. Every hotel staff we’ve met was super friendly and professional. Dario and his team at the concierge are such pleasant and joyful gentlemen. Talking with them feels like meeting old friends. I truly appreciate their knowledge and kindness. Venessa from dining service is a very delightful, worldly and wise young lady. I totally enjoyed our conversation. Matsuhisa is as splendid as always. The lobster-truffle hobayaki, wagyu Robata and wagyu taco are heavenly in taste, texture and presentation. I was a bit disappointed that the wonderful Mandarin Spa is not here at the Munich hotel. However, Natalia at “Amour Fou” on hotel’s ground floor gave fantastic Swedish massage and Hawaiian facial which I completely enjoyed. This weekend staycation has exceeded my expectation. MO Munich a wonderful oasis for a perfect escape, when the outside world has, rather unfortunately, a kindness, respect and warmth deficit. Highly recommend!"
"This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully decorated and we were invited to sit and enjoy a coffee in the reception lounge when we arrived. Our room was very large, with a separate sitting space/ desk area in the huge bedroom, together with a well sized bathroom, with large bath and shower, separate toilet and big wardrobe space off the hallway. The contents on the minibar were included in the price and there were several beers on offer, together with wine and soft drinks, which were replenished on a daily basis. We were also given vouchers to enjoy drinks on the roof terrace, which offered superb views over the Munich skyline. Breakfast was terrific - served at the table and including eggs of your choice, cold cuts and cheeses, fruits, great breads, waffles, pancakes, champagne and juices and probably anything else you could think of. The bed was very comfortable, the location ideal, the staff fantastic and the whole experience very memorable."
"We (My wife and I) stayed at MO Munich for 3 days in late April of 2022. Although the surrounding area was undergoing some construction which discounted the oldtown view from certain rooms, MO Munich still made us feel the money was well spent. I have stayed at various MO properties around the world, with my parents when I was little, myself for business trips, and with my wife for vacations. I know what to expect in term of service and quality from MO, but MO Munich is top notch among all other Mo's because it elevates the MO service with German precision. The room is clean and spacious as you would expect from any MO property; amenities are up to date, and the concierge at the hotel went above and beyond in helping me fixing some issues with my rental car as well as handling the car return process for me (Sixt and MO Munich has a partnership). I will not hesitate to book here again for my next trip to Munich."

"This was my second stay at the Charles Hotel. My first stay was pre pandemic, I am happy to see the hotel operating with the same level of comfort, and professionalism, as before the pandemic. The rooms are especially large, and very well appointed. Cleaning services twice per day really made the room feel safe and clean. Spa services were excellent, and the steam / sauna area is a treat to enjoy. The staff, what can I say about the staff? Some of the friendliest, and most professional team that you could want at a hotel! Absolutely amazing people. A few that were especially noteworthy are: Charlotte, that works in the restaurant and bar is an absolute delight! Very welcoming and remembered us the whole trip. Hopefully a long term star at the Rocco Forte brand. Another super star is Lena at Concierge. If I didn’t know better, I would think she owned the hotel. She takes such pride in the guests stay and comfort, it is amazing. Always checking up with us on our visit, and confirming any plans she made for us were to our satisfaction. She truly ensured our trip was flawless. Claudia in Concierge was also out of this world with her willingness to go the extra mile to support our trip. Thank you all for the most enjoyable stay!"
"Fully aware that the Charles Hotel considers itself a business hotel rather than a leisure hotel, I was expecting the usual fare for my week-long business trip in Munich... but this place is far from that. Possibly the first time I've ever stayed in a business hotel that I would happily return to for a leisure holiday trip. Huge and luxurious rooms and a fantastic spa, with top top levels of service. The only aspect that wasn't outstanding was the food offering in the restaurant for dinner, which was still quite good - and likely to be due to the reduced Covid-related footfall (and no issue when you have Wolt and other delivery services...!). I will be back several times over the coming few months!"
"Together with the family, the hotel is opposite the park, the children like it very much, there are pharmacies and DM supermarkets on the left hand side for three or five minutes, it is not bad to drive ten minutes from the commercial street, the room is spacious, the big bed is comfortable, the only thing is to deduct money from the credit card after check-out. Later, the email negotiation clearly did not have consumption and returned"

"It is easier to choose Kempinski Hotel in Germany, and the location and service are among the best in the local area. This Munich store is located in the center of the old town, on a street with luxury brands. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Marienplatz, the Royal Palace and the Hofbräuhaus. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is particularly delicious, packed in clear glass bottles. Although there are not many types, the meat loaf and small sausages taste good, and they feel better than the restaurants outside. The standard room is nothing special, the bathroom is quite spacious and has a smart toilet lid, which is rare in Europe. The hotel’s swimming pool is not big. Ctrip’s website says the hotel is closed during the epidemic, but it’s especially open during the summer. Two people are restricted to travel together at a time."
"The location is very convenient, whether it is the important attractions of the card or the shopping location is perfect! I was worried that the old hotel facilities would be outdated, but the rooms were all newly renovated. The German style is very eye-catching and still very recommended!"
"This century-old store has a simple appearance and modern rooms. All facilities are modern. Breakfast has porridge, and the details are well done. Hotel location, famous street, shopping is super convenient."

"My husband and I stayed at the Relexa Hotel Munchen. Unfortunately, we were two unpleasant situations. The first morning the kindly Receptionist was showing on the computer screen how to get to a tourist place, as I requested, but the manager arrived and rudely started talking to me in German, when I spoke in English that I didn’t understand what she was speaking, she requested the attendant who told me that I couldn't see the computer and kept scolding the girl next to me me like I didn't have there! Nothing polite with a guest! But the most serious happened later. On the 6th morning I left my new wool scarf on one of the shelves in my room. When I returned to the hotel at night, the scarf disappeared. I immediately talked to the receptionist who was currently working and she explained to me that she could do nothing, just left a notice for the manager and the housekeeper to check as soon as they arrived at the hotel the next morning. The next day I warned that I needed to check out early, talked to the receptionist in the morning, he had already know of the case, but said that the responsible people were checking and didn’t have a return about my scarf, so they would send me an e- mail with the answer. I requested to speak with the manager, but she refused to talk to me. I don't know the name of any employee, because contrary to any good customer service, all employees informed me that they are not allowed to say their names. I don’t recommend the hotel Relexa Munchen to anyone they don’t have respect for guests!"
"This hotel is about a 5 minute walk (with luggage) south of the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The room were clean and modern, and a bit larger than we expected given that it is something of traveler's hotel near the station. The staff were able to hold our bags in a secure room, since we arrived before check in time, and took our bags up when the room was ready (we were out at the time). As a piece of advice, if coming from the train station, consider using the Paul Heyse Strasse exit from the station - you'll walk all the way along platform 11 until you see a modest exit with an escalator down to street level - it will save you from backtracking that you would have to do by using the main southern exit."
"The location of the hotel was great – near the main train station and walkable to the Altstadt. However, the beds, and especially the pillows, were extremely uncomfortable/hard. I hardly slept. Also the bathroom was not very private as there was only a partial glass door between the toilet and the rest of the room. If you're traveling with a roommate, they can hear everything on the other side of the room! The staff wasn't very friendly at the front desk. When we tried to check in, the man at the desk pretended like he didn't understand what we were trying to do. So another employee at the desk helped us no problem. And the "free" wi-fi barely worked during our stay. It was spotty at best."

"Easily one the best hotels in Europe, definitely the best in Munich. Primo service, no one skips a beat here. Incredible decor, rooms are fabulous. It has a good vintage feel as if you're in another time (but doesn't feel old). You never need to leave the hotel, so many bar and food options. Modernist Bavarian dining, rooftop igloo to Trader Vic's ambiance. The private movie theater was a really nice touch, supercomfy. Breakfast was the best I've had in Europe. Service was truly top notch. Perfect location for the city. The pool area was luxurious. We were upgraded to a suite, that had lots of storage, heated marble floors in the bathroom. Very quiet and well appointed. Bravo, job well done. "
"Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you. Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself. The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year. And now I plan to be back there in December - same hotel."
"The hotel is wonderful. It’s location is absolutely perfect. The staff is very helpful. The restaurant food is good and the rooftop views are excellent. I would also note that the bedding was wonderful. No better spot to enjoy Munich than this grand hotel."

"My wife and I stayed at Maximilian in early December 2019 to visit Christmas Markets. We liked everything about the Hotel. First, the location is excellent. It is convenient to all of the popular Munich sites - only a few blocks away from Hofbrauhaus, Marienplatz, transportation, etc. - but yet is located in a quiet part of town. Convenient and quiet. The staff were outstanding. They went out of their way to invite us to a special evening appreciation event in the courtyard featuring wine and a cozy fire and they were especially helpful in helping us arrange to ship some Christmas ornaments back to the US without breaking the bank. Last, the room was very nice and quiet with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, a small kitchenette and a small outdoor balcony that overlooked the courtyard. We love Munich and we will absolutely, 100% select Maximilian for our next stay."
"My parents were staying in the city for medical treatment, after weeks of reservation emails and setting all details straight, at the check-in we see the main entrance is literally construction toilets and construction works, which we were not advised of, and our welcoming comment was that hey had to increased the arranged nightly rate claiming there must have been a mistake, we gave them the benefit of the doubt so we stayed, but usually hotels give you discounts when their main entrance is a construction site, and they usually don't allow the construction toilets in their main entrance. This check-in experience felt very disrespectful and kind of like a very low class cheap move. After a week my father had a medical crisis and we had to leave before the planned date, because of the check-in experience I had the feeling that the man in the lobby would try to charge because of early departure, even taking into account that we're in the middle of a pandemic where more than 80% of the hotel is empty and government is paying 70% of their salaries, so I told my parents that this is how they will win or lose a client and their internet reputation. Effectively, without even asking why are we leaving or even offering a taxi service to the airport (which they never did), the first and only comment was that there would probably be a penalty charge, but he doesn't know how much it is, and that they will just charge it automatically to the registered credit card. The next day they charged over 500 Euros of penalty, and not even a taxi service was offered for my parents. We will never stay at this hotel again."
"Very nice Apartment-Hotel in a superb location in Munich downtown. Short distance walks to Hofbräuhaus, Hax'n-Bauer, Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz and shopping street "Kaufinger". Very sumptous/spacious and nice furnished rooms. Parking for car with direct access to Hotel is available. Lovely and Pleasant breakfast location. Very nice and attentive staff. There was an ongoing renovation during our stay, but was very professionally handled - we never heard some noise."

"We stayed at the Andaz on our way to and from Visiting Italy. We were a family of 3 adults and one child, we had connecting rooms both of which were very clean and comfortable with every amenity. The pool and spa area are exceptional. It was so nice to unwind there after 3 weeks on the road. After being in Italy the food was a little disappointing . But the staff were excellent. Friendly, interesting and helpful. We highly recommend staying here."
"We found this place by chance as we were heading out of Munich having spent a day sight seeing. We hadn’t made a reservation but we’re found a table. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our meals. Top quality and superbly cooked. For our meals: pork chop and prawns, we both chose broccoli which came perfectly al dente. We left feeling very satisfied and pleased with having stumbled upon this location."
"Great location, wonderful staff, excellent rooms, fantastic sauna/pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. If I had to complain about something it was that the inhouse cafe was closed (it was Easter), but the woman at the restaurant gave us free coffee so it really wasn't a problem"

"The location is excellent, but because of the recent construction near the Munich train station, the outside environment has a little impact, but the room is absolutely quiet and comfortable. We brought two children this time. There was no extra money for breakfast. The suites were arranged on the top floor and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms are fully equipped, all electronically controlled, very scientific and technological! PS: The hotel has a rich breakfast, especially the variety of fruits and high quality. There is also a bar that can make waffles by yourself. The children will make their own meals every day, especially happy."
"This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Munich as it is close to the train station and close to business. So it's easy to go to attractions. At the same time, the hotel's internal facilities are also very good, especially the spa pool, which is a creatively shaped small pool. It is a wonderland to go swimming at night."
"The hotel environment is ok, right next to the train station, it is very convenient to take the train, and the surrounding attractions are walking away."
