Incredible views overlooking the valley and old town make this hotel really special. Room was spacious and felt luxurious, with lovely modern décor and a walk-in shower. There was plenty of counter space in the bathroom, and a fridge stocked with complimentary still and sparkling water plus Coca-Cola which was a nice touch. Balmain toiletries were provided which smelled lovely. Location is good, walking distance to the central train station and walking distance to the centre of town, but quiet as you are a little away from the hustle and bustle. Only disappointment for me was the bed which was weirdly lumpy - very unusual for a Sofitel as in my experience their beds are usually like a dream. Staff all great, I was able to borrow an adapter to charge my toothbrush, and when I needed to stay an extra night due to the train strikes in France they honoured the cheaper advance rate of my other three nights. Room service prices were reasonable although the room service breakfast I had didn't seem to have all the items listed on the menu. But did I mention the views? Wow!

The location is very good, right in the heart of Luxembourg, Luxembourg is just like the hotel, basically walk to those attractions. The decoration of the hotel itself is very characteristic, the equipment and service are also very good, that is, the price is expensive.

The front desk service of the hotel is excellent, the area where the hotel is located is very quiet, and there are cinemas and shopping malls not far away. I had a very happy time and I highly recommend this hotel!

The room is still quite big. In Europe, it is clean as a whole. It may be because it is flat and there are no people. The night before departure, my husband learned that someone was diagnosed with him. He was afraid of infecting me, so he opened another room in my room. Next to me, it said it was an upgraded room type, but I saw that my husband’s room was the same as mine, there was no difference. There are not many choices for breakfast, just some bread, fruit, milk and cheese, which is much different from the buffet breakfast of many five-star hotels. I don’t know if it is because of the epidemic.

The room is average and there is no good scenery. The location is very good, and the shopping street and the city center is at the doorway. The breakfast is good and the service is OK.

Four-star hotel, too general, the traffic is really convenient, I drove, parked at the hotel, went out by bus, free! The room is generally a bit small, the exhaust is bad, the window has an electric curtain in addition to the curtain, for sound insulation, useless. I quarreled for one night, the window root is the tram, and the sound of coming back and forth is loud.

This hotel was located only a two minute walk from the main centre in the pedestrian only part of town. It was also just near the medieval walls. A 15 minute walk from the main train station, or the Number 1 tram, takes you near the hotel. The staff were exceptional, hotel clean and comfortable. Great breakfast as well. A lovely older styled hotel and highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely room. Bar and amenities were incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Tram stop is a 2 min walk away and it only takes 10 mins to get to the centre of Luxembourg. Some local pubs and shops too.
