"An excellent boutique hotel with a modernistic and trendy atmosphere, centrally located. The fit out of the bar/dining area and the rooms is modern and very comfortable, as well as being well above average for a reasonably priced hotel. The centrally located position ( close to rail station) is excellent for walking into the city centre ( Alphonus 1 Ave). A lot of major tourist attractions are within walking distance and the city itself is busy and interesting at night , with numerous sights to see, including a magnificent cathedral, galleries and Gothic and Roman ruins. The numerous tapas bars and other eateries, positioned throughout the numerous old streetscapes are truly superb, though not inexpensive are worth the money. Zaragoza and the hotel are worthy of favouritism as some of the best in Spain."
"Well worth the money. Big spacious room with a lot of amenities. Massive super king size bed. Shower 5 stars. Only down thing was the aircon. Makes a lot of noise. And every time a bus passes whole building shakes and the lights goes on and off. Other than that really clean and tidy. Ahh also the coffee table was wobbly. But I really enjoyed my stay. Staff was very helpful too."
"Me and my wife stayed here in one of the junior suites , huge bed and room! comfy and overall very nice (although AC was not that great, could and did open windows) Breakfast was not really to our liking (we are British) and struggled to find our usual breakfast items (but understand this is personal preference) Good location for us, located less than 30 mins to airport and quick enough to walk/taxi into town Would stay again and the price was very good!"

"Absolutely perfect hotel for our three-night stay. Great, central location offering easy access to the old town and the historic sites of the city. Fabulous staff, particular thanks to Angel on reception who organised a little kettle for our room and was so very helpful. Very clean room, toiletries provided. We asked for a higher, quiet room and the hotel obliged. Second visit and we will return. Thank you all. X"
"Stayed three nights on a room only basis at hotel. It is situated in heart of city and close to all tourists sites. Around 10 minutes from railway station (cost around 11 Euro). Rooms large and spotlessly clean with lovely bathroom. Reception staff helpful and small swimming pool on roof with fab views. Would definitely return and would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Zaragosa."
"The hotel was in a great location - walking distance to the wonderful basilica and cathedral - maybe 5 blocks. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. They spoke English, which was important to us. The breakfast was about 12 Euro and well worth it. The beds were not great but they had extra covers in the room so I was able to pad the bed some. My husband didn't have any problem with the bed."

"We chose Los Girasoles as it offers both rooms & apartments) & this suited our mixed group. As we were in Spain for a fortnight we wanted the freedom & space of an apartment with the services of a hotel. I was initially disappointed with our Superior Apartment, as the main living area is an internal space & was dark & depressing. The tiny single 2nd bedroom was similarly gloomy. Thankfully, the main bedroom was sunny & bright, with large windows overlooking the main street. The accommodation has been fitted out on a budget, with cheap appliances & fixtures & a poor finish. Decor is tired & scruffy in parts. But to be fair, it isn't expensive to stay here, & we settled in & enjoyed our stay. We didn't use the kitchen but it includes an oven, full size fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine. The layout of the apartment suited us well - 2 bedrooms & 2 separate bathrooms, set around the internal living area. There is a teeny patio off the single bedroom. Showers were powerful & beds very comfortable. Bathroom products were sp**** & basic. Wifi worked really well for general use, ie, our phones & iPads, but dropped out a lot when using laptops. The location is superb, close to shops, restaurants & the Basilica. There was a bit of noise from the street, but not enough to impede sleep. The hotel has an underground garage charged at €16 per night. Spaces are very tight. The gym is worn & neglected & the pool full of murky water. I would say that across the board, photographs on the website are rather flattering. We didn't use the restaurant for any meals as it looked unappealing & there are so many dining options within close proximity. Staff on reception were helpful & efficient. Housekeeping was a bit lax & some day showers went uncleaned. Overall then, there is plenty of room for improvement & refurbishment, but given the price & the location, we were happy with our choice."
"I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest."
"We enjoyed our stay - comfortable spacy apartment with all necessary facilities, well designed, clean. Not sure, air conditioning will have enough capacity during hot summer months. Location is perfect to reach all sites of interest including the market (frankly speaking - we are the fans to some extent ;) ). Helpful and welcoming staff at reception. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, especially, when you see that before manager's visit everyone is nice and good at service, and relaxes immediately after he leaves."

"We were pleased with our choice of hotel to visit Zaragoza. It is situated on a main access road in a modern building close to the main shopping area and to the historic centre of Zaragoza (a 10 minute walk). As in most city hotels, the room is not enormous, but neither is it cramped and it has all the facilities you need including a comfortable bed. Importantly the restaurant is good, providing a varied breakfast and also offering a menu at lunchtime and in the evening which allows you to eat a main meal or snack. There is a public car park right under the hotel and hotel guests get a small discount. Very satisfied."
"Although this is not the typical hotel, I enjoyed it quite a bit. It has a good breakfast, with a wide variety of options, it provided us with a good quality of sleep, and its location, though not ideal, is kind of good, since we could walk to the city center. Furthermore, the restaurant on the rooftop is amazing. Regarding its downsides, the staff is not particularly nice or friendly, and the rooms are extremely tight. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to stay during a short period in Zaragoza, I would recommend this hotel."
"Loved the hotel for its comfort, modern yet interesting design and the rooftop pool and restaurant! Great staff who were patient with my poor Spanish and provided efficient service. Great location just a 10 min walk to the old town. "

"First of all, Zaragoza gives a feeling of calm and comfort. There are not many tourists. It feels that the shops and restaurants are all in accordance with the pace of life of the local people. They are not open until the point is, and they do not deliberately cater to tourists. This is very comfortable. Hotel location is very good, not far from there are Ingles, taverns, etc., and free hot water, breakfast is rich ~"
"We had a terrible experience with this hotel !!! When we arrived at the hotel we handed our IDs to the receptionist. He responded that our IDs are NOT VALID BECAUSE WE ARE NOT FROM THE EU!!! I refused to provide my passport because he is not a police officer and we are not at the border, airport etc. He called his manager and even THE POLICE! I asked him why he is acting like this and he said 'because of love for Spain!'... This is not how your stay should start at a hotel. We are glad that we had booked only 1 night at this disrespectful hotel - NEVER EVER AGAIN!-- PS : As you can see the room pictures. Very old, dirty and unhealthy Very poor experience and I am now glad I will not be staying there."
"Located in the city center, the service and sanitation are very good. The most important thing is the convenience of travel. All the attractions are close at hand, the dining is more convenient, and there are many dining places nearby, enough for your choice, whether you are taking the train, airplane or transportation. The cost will satisfy you."

"Perfect location, sandwiched between the old town and the centre. We were able to walk to all of Zaragoza’s main attractions, shopping streets and dining areas. All of the staff made such an effort to make us feel welcome and went out of their way to help if we ever had questions or needed something. The room was spotless and the bed huge! The bathroom was a bit weird, lots of floor space but the bath itself was so narrow that it was hard to stand up in. But that’s literally the only thing I could criticise in an otherwise brilliant stay."
"The NH brand is good, the hotel staff is very warm and courteous, and the children are especially greeted to ask the children to get some sweets and snacks. The doorman is also very enthusiastic and helps to guide the parking lot next to the hotel. some. There are temporary parking spaces for guests and luggage at the hotel entrance, and there are many restaurants and shops around. The room is large and clean, the junior suite will have a separate small living room and the sofa can be used to pull the extra bed."
"This hotel has been the best above Valencia 4 star plus and Barcelona 5 star. Front of house staff so helpful friendly. The valet was amazing in his help parking. The hotel room was nice comfortable with good mini bar. Breakfast was outstanding the staff again excelled. Location to the city fantastic. This hotel is a must if your staying In Zaragoza and what a fantastic city so glad we chose both this hotel and the city"

"We traveled to Zaragoza by train to visit the old town of Belchite about an hour away, a town destroyed during the Spanish Civil War and left as it was, now a peace memorial with tours. Before arriving I sent an email to the Hotel Palafox requesting information about how to travel to this site and they provided the name of an appropriate car service. The staff were friendly and found a room that was available for an early check-in. And the most incredible thing about this hotel was their restaurant, Aragonia, with the best food we tasted during two weeks of traveling in Spain."
"This may have been a very good hotel in the past, but, alas, that was a long time ago. The rooms are dark and in need of total refurbishment. We rejected the first two rooms which we were shown and finally ended with a room on the 7th floor (apparently the 7th floor had been refurbished). It was still not great! The housekeeper was very pleasant but spoke no English and my Spanish is somewhat lacking. The front desk staff were very pleasant. The breakfast service was OK, but nothing to write home about (possibly due to a lack of guests). All in all it was not a good stay!"
"The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel"

"My wife and I stayed for two nights in Junior Suite, Room 304. Check-in was easy, but directions to parking sounded complex. The front desk offered, and we accepted their offer, to have a member of the staff accompany us to the parking lot. I don't know if we would have received this accommodation had the hotel been busy upon our arrival, but fortunately it was not. The hotel is in a nice area of Zaragoza, a bit away from the city center. It is attached to a shopping mall, which was very convenient for us, as we had some shopping we needed to do for groceries and for gifts for friends we were meeting. The layout of our room was quite strange. There were lots of angles and mirrors, and the coffee table in the living room area was so low it was hard to avoid tripping over it. The partition between the toilet and the washroom was frosted glass and did not close all the way, so using the toilet felt more public that it should be. The washroom was separated from the bedroom also with a partial frosted glass wall that adequately shielded the view of the toilet from the bedroom, which provided some degree of privacy."
"We stayed one night and found the hotel very comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom excellent. The hotel has secure parking which is great albeit a little difficult to find. They did give me a map but even putting the street into my satnav was no help. Got there in the end but really struggled. We had breakfast which was nice and drinks in the bar which is lovely."
"Positive aspects: proper staff, professional. Good room size. Bottle of water and fruits of Aragón of courtesy. There are noodles. Comfortable bed. Negative aspects: bathroom with transparent glass door and toilet; windows cannot be opened (impossible to ventilate); difficult to manage showers. Amenities put one single tooth screw in a room for two people (!). The worst: rooms without sounds (on listen TO ALL that happens in others). Synthesis: generally pleasant, but it is not a five-star."
