We enjoyed our stay here (from April 16-18) with my siblings (except for some comments). The resort was clean, the room was very spacious for 2pax (we occupied 2 rooms) it can fit a group of 6 pax per room if maximized. The toilet was spacious too. Room AC was working well. We stayed in room 119, my comments for the room specifically are as follows: the shower heater was not working when we stayed, the toilet faucet was leaking, room had an off smell (fishy with downy). I also suggest that the hotel management remind their guests (in general) to keep their noises/voices low or avoid unnecessary noises after 10pm in consideration of other hotel guests (as courtesy---not all the guests are at the resort to party, some just wants to enjoy a peaceful and quiet place to rest and unwind). The free breakfast was decent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ywould still recommend staying here, not as crowded as the resorts in San Fernando or San Juan.

The you moment get in there lobby you feel the lack of hospitality. The room is very dirty, they use mattress cases as blankets, the room is full of molds and smells like hell (they well only spray with some solback or something) , they did not clean the toilet room. When the issue was raise they can only say that their top management is thinking of a solution only for you to wait and wait for nothing. They destroyed the mood of the event. Bad function hall, terrible AV equipment's. They will say sorry but for the sake of saying sorry. If there is something that they are very attentive about, that would be money$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Few guest are being prioritized to the prejudice of others despite being paid more than their regular rate. No toiletries provided........ TV is ruined.... No internet..... When you check in make sure to record the things in the or else You might be blamed for non existing items that were not there in the first place. Not Safe... Wires dangling... Toilet has a trace of someone's fecal matter...... Shower rooms have lots of dead slugs.... Room is like a storage.... Their staffs and managers are beyond RUDE!!! Were are MORE THAN NICE to them at least even after the HORRIBLE TREATMENT.

Went here with the family for a weekend getaway. The villa we got is good except for the water pressure in one of the showers...we only got trickles and there was no hot water either. Activities for the family is quite limited as they only have pools. Would be good if management could come up with facilities for other outdoor activities cuz it gets boring as the day progresses...i.e. boat tours, snorkeling, banana boat rides perhaps? Btw, if you’re into long walks by the beach...wanting the feel of the sand on your feet, then this isn’t the place for you as there’s no beach. On a positive note, the breakfast was enjoyable.

The place is instagrammable and most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. My otherwise shy parents loved their swim-up room because it afforded them a semblance of privacy while enjoying the pool. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable. I personally love the balcony overlooking the pool complex. And bathrobes are always appreciated. The beach has fine, whitish sand. The buffet breakfast is adequate, standard, (although I heard a couple complaining at the salad bar due to the lack of salad dressing). The fried bananas were the star of the breakfast buffet, and we kept re-filling our plates with it to make up for the very ”malitid” beef tapa. The river pool was quite enjoyable and we found ourselves just floating with the current. For some reason, the water in the river pool and slide pools/pool bar were quite hot (not ”warm”). Im unsure if that's intended or the sun was just too hot that day. There were incidents though that we found stressful/annoying/disappointing. As we were on our way to Aureo, I received an email and text message from them saying they are letting go of our reservation (4 rooms, since we are a party of 10), because they did not receive any confirmation from me. I backtracked on the reservation email they sent days ago and did not find anything requiring me to confirm. All I remembered was that they were giving us the option to either pay up-front or settle the fees upon check in. It was later sorted out and we were told they will hold the rooms for us. Nevertheless, that email/text message considerably caused us stress, as we were already on the road, with kids and senior citizens in tow. Perhaps the management could adopt a better way of informing clients that a confirmation is needed, or that payment should be made upfront (which we would have gladly done), instead of automatically sending a message, without prior notice, that they are cancelling our rooms. Since it was our parents' anniversary and it was a rare occasion for our family to be complete, we arranged for a private dinner by the beach. We agreed to the P5k dinner set up by the beach, in addition to the P750/person boodle fight food. We were, however, disappointed to find out that the 5k set-up consisted of a simple plastic table and chairs, with lights strung above (see pic). We checked Aureo's pics from IG and saw that previous set-ups have arch backdrops with flower garlands, etc. I suppose we expected something similar for 5k. It did not help that just a few feet away, the restaurant has beach tables and chairs with better lights/lanterns, where we could have eaten without the additional 5k charge. As a compromise, the staff reduced the beach set-up fee to P3k. We reluctantly accepted this so as not to ruin what could hopefully be a special dinner for our parents. The staff also informed us they will only charge us for 8 persons although the set up was for 10pax. While we appreciate this, it must be pointed out that the 9th and 10th pers

We booked the deluxe swip up and family swim up. The access to your own pool is worth it if you have small kids like us. Though the villas near the beach also look nice if you dont want a long walk. We love the pools especially the lagoon. The food at the restaurants are affordable and has big servings. Cons: the room is not that cold even if we set it in the coolest temperature. Same for the refrigerator. But maybe it’s just at room 116. The deluxe Room is not spacious enough given that they are allowing extra persons/kids for an extra charge. Expect to a long walk to the beach if you will stay in the deluxe rooms. The cocktail drinks can be improved with a bit more alcohol in it. Breakfast buffet has limited choices and you need to ask several times for them to refill the pastry station. Overall: We really enjoyed the pools, food and the beach. We will go back to try the villas.

First visit at the sports bar for a lovely sunset experience after being warned about higher prices to be expected from a local and from our four meals two were excellent and two were poor. The poor ones were the the Beef Salpicao and the Beef Rendang where the meat was not tender but tough and gristly and lacked authentic flavour. In contrast the shredded beef obviously was much better in the Thai Basil Beef (Pad Gra Prow) and the Pork Adobo Overload was great AND the meat was so tender and tasty. Perhaps could have had less belly fat for me but that’s the best part according to my wife. Drinks good. Attracted by the live band music next door , we had traditional desserts at PM Final Option which set up for a nice walk back to base along the beautiful beach under a full moon. ps Awesome - you should review having staff smoking in the bar when it’s primarily used by guests having dinner.

Went here with friends for lunch but stayed a bit to look at the rooms. The food was good and the rooms are clean and honestly looked better than where we we're staying ( Aureo ). Getting here from the main highway was also easier. I'd rate this hotel higher but they need to seriously rename this resort. Try translating ”awesome” or ”sunset beach” to ilokano and they'll probably increase their online reservations ten-fold.

It’s a great place to stay.... Staff were friendly caring and pleasant, starting from the reception. Meals are very good and delicious...
Rooms are warm while outside is very cool. Well maintained hospital. I highly recommend the hotel for locals and foreigners. I would probably choose Orient hotel next time as I have experience warm welcomes of the staff, excellent service and pleasantness of hotel crew.
