Arriving for long-awaited dinner in a rainy September 2021 night. We seeked for that super romantic George & Amal (they married here) Venetian experience. Entering the building, a friendly staff took off our umbrellas and kindly explained us the way to the restaurant. No effort to accompany us to the table. No nice small talk. Arrived at the spectacular dining hall we were lost again. Nobody welcomed us. No specific table was reserved. Well, we had two options. But wouldn’t it be nicer to have a suggestion made by the venue? The quality of the food was high, it tasted delicious. The wine very good. No gourmet firework though - which we didn’t expected taking the relative moderate prices into account. The waiter was friendly as well. Casual. Started a conversation about his doubts about the applicable Corona rules. It was truly meant positive and as a conversation starter, but it wasn’t. My underlying point is: I couldn’t feel almost none heartful and true spirit of hospitality (man, I’m in Italy. The heart of warmths) No flowers. No uplifting jokes. No connection to staff or the heritage of that very unique Palazzo (when we left the venue, we were lost again for minutes in the lobby until the friendly staff from the beginning handed over the umbrella. Her colleague at the reception was on the phone. We seemed to be an extra effort for him). Compared to other European luxurious hotels (Bayerischer Hof Munich, George V Paris) this was a very disappointing experience. When we left, I gave directly feedback. She received it very professionally. Again, I missed something real and human in it. Best experience were the very charming men at the very beginning of our arrival. Helping us to find the entrance. They were fun and seemed to be themselves. Unfortunately, they were the only ones so that I will never come back.

Everyone was super friendly - we had a really lovely visit, and the property itself is gorgeous. Would highly recommend this hotel. The boat service to and from San Marco makes things really easy as well.

The hotel location is very good, close to St. Mark's Square, the environment is great, the service staff is very nice, there is the Gondola Pier at the door, it is very convenient to go!

Ctrip's rating is not high, I have been worried about the hotel is not good, and the result is perfect. I chose half board. In addition to rich Western food for breakfast, there are dumplings and noodles that children can eat. Dinner is also rich, 3 course.

Lived in the annex building, actually far from the main building, next to St. Mark's Square, but the place is first class The advantages are outstanding: the terrace view is invincible, the room is new and beautiful and has a kitchen The shortcomings are obvious: to walk on the fourth floor, there is no elevator, the hot water in the bath is not enough, the last person to wash can only wash cold water!

The rooms have their own characteristics, the front and rear gardens, the back garden connecting the canals, and the Michelin one star restaurant has a great breakfast.

I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel as I don’t like the old fashioned style but the stay was a present so I don’t complain on it. Sure it could be better maintained. The breakfast for Italy is okayish but nothing special. The tone in the hotel is a bit arrogant but if you don’t ask anything you can ignore it. Finally there is Google. The location is excellent but if you want to sleep then forget it. A crowded highway is nothing against the noise and pollution what boats make there. From early morning (5 a. m) till late at night ship horns, engine sound, music, shouts. I guess it’s on the route for transportation. I know it’s not the mistake of the hotel just for a 4S category it’s not ok.

Lovely Hotel. Very modern and well kept. Just 100 yards away from plenty of action, but being up a small street, there is no noise keeping you awake at night. Also only 250 yards away from the train station. We found it well located to all amenities with 5 star service. Will be back.

The hotel is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. I was lucky enough to upgrade me to a canal suite with a great view. The butler service is also very good. The most warm and considerate service I have experienced in Europe is at St. Regis. Because of St. Regis, Venice is worth staying a few more days
