"The hotel rooms have been totally upgraded during the pandemic and are looking great. I stayed front of hotel on second floor with a large balcony overlooking the street. The room was decorated in a pale scandi style with new floor boards and a large comfortable bed. As always breakfast in “Tens” is fantastic. Wifi worked. Location is excellent for walks through the Born area and also through Barceloneta to the beaches. Lots of restaurants, cafes, boutiques in the immediate vicinity. Front desk staff always helpful. A go to hotel for any trip to Barcelona."
"Simply perfect localization, very friendly staff, good breakfast, equipment and really thorough cleaning service. It is really nice hotel for a weekend. But: Pictures are retouched, in fact the hotel is not so elegant and modern. He could use a renovation. Rooms are really small (but this is written in the offer, so we can not blame), with a poor view, bathroom is behind the glass door, what is uncomfortable. But overall is good, you can't complain."
"The staff were lovely and the rooms very were nice. Ideal location for seeing new things, travelling around the city, for amazing restaurants and food shops. Loved the option to go in the rooftop pool! "

"Located in the best and most prestigious urban neighborhood in Barcelona. The hotel offers a relax atmosphere and good breakfast with a good restaurant. It is located in the residential Pedregal neighborhood. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The staff is responsive and helpful, and you can communicate with them via the chat option in the BonVoy app. They do need to have staff to help with luggage when you check, this would have help avoid a robbery in my case. Note that there is only one luggage cart at the hotel. Also the hotel needs to put more and better security cameras at the front of the hotel, so taxis coming and dropping clients off can be recorded. I had an incident during mid morning, in which a taxi driver took off with my back pack as I was helping my handicap mother walk to the front of hotel at check in, and the security of the hotel could not capture the license of the taxi driver due to the poor location and resolution of the cameras. Even thought this robbery happened in the hotel premises no record was kept by the hotel security system, so clients be aware of this. I hope the AC Hotel improves their security system in the future so their guest are better protected and the hotel keeps their outstanding reputation."
"I love this hotel and have been coming to it for the past 4 and half years on my trips to Barcelona. It is in quiet neighborhood, with lots of nice restaurants near by, as well the hotel restaurant. As my main reason is business and often stay more then a week, the extra space works great, but the internet service is just horrible. If I have to take a conf call at night and don't want to stay in the office, is like missing the call. Just tried it again last night and the internet service was horrible, continuing to be horrible in the morning. They have free service for Marriott members, but it is like not existing, unless you are not looking to do casual surfing."
"The hotel is very easy to find on the casino floor, you can drive directly into the parking lot by car, there are signs. The price of less than one thousand also includes double early in Austria. I am almost in tears. The overall design feels a bit simple, but it is more spacious. A public terrace on each floor of the hotel is a good location for a concave shape. Breakfast is okay, there is a kind of fruit tea bag is very delicious, even my wife does not drink tea for two glasses. Favorite girls can try"

"MO Barcelona. Fantastic and modern property (the suites are incredibly spacious and nice - try to get a room over Passeig de Garcia) and amazing location. The staff were amazing - what you would expect from a MO - incredibly helpful and polite - always tried their 110% to assist us with any requests for help - last minute or planned. The Spa was also amazing! The only constructive criticism that we can give is in room dinning menu which is the same/identical to the menu in the main restaurant and the appetizers the same as the Bank Bar. It did help that the hotel has a Michelin Star restaurant that is unbelievable. Going back to in-room dining - cross coverage in all the F&B venues is certainly an issue but not as much of an issue as the selection - the menu should be made more varied (not 5 types of ham for example) one or two main courses, one or two salads, one sandwich and a burger - very limited options. The menu lacked imagination and was far too limited - my advice would be to get rid off the menu and start from scratch with some basics you see in all hotels globally (at least for the in-room dining) - the menu doesn't need to a huge but MO should compare the Barcelona menu with the MO Dubai, London or any Jumeirah hotels. Embarrassed to admit that one or two late nights we resorted to Glovo which shouldn't happen at a hotel with caliber of MO. I have to say though that if the in-room dinning is the only issue I am raising then the remainder of our stay/hotel experience was wonderful especially the staff - at all levels from house keeping to concierge to guest services who did an awesome job of helping me plan my wife's birthday. Definitely would give it a five star and recommend it as strongly as recommending a change of the menu (in-room dinning, restaurant and bar) NEXT WEEK. Five star stay! If in Barcelona....don't go anywhere else!!!!!"
"Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration lunch at the Blanc for my daughter. We all had a wonderful time. Special thanks to Edouard and his F&B team including Luigi, Federica, Alberto and the chef. The food was delicious particularly the lamb, very tender. The kids love the birthday cake surprise. Many thanks again!"
"The Mandarin Oriental is in a great location in Barcelona. But on this trip I found it was experiencing some wear and tear, especially after staying at the swanky new Four Seasons in Madrid. The contrast was just too big. Our room had stains on the wall but not very noticeable, and the bed was not ironed well on two days. I found scuff marks on the desk. It's not cheap either. I hope they renovate this hotel because it still has the best location. You can walk to almost everywhere."

"Offering a roof terrace with chill-out area ! All single beds in dorm so no climbing up steps. Very roomy. Wi fi was good. Decent location within city with a good bus service to other parts including the beach. Walking distance to sites like the Olympic Stadium and main city MNAC art gallery. Also did a nice walk from here to the Gothic Quarter"
"Pro: -very central location (very close to the metro!) -really lovely roof-top-terrace -relatively cheap for barcelona -big & clean showers -24/7 reception Con: -it smells like mildew in the rooms (when we arrived, staff sprayed room spray in front of the fan) -the community kitchen is small with few pans etc available -fans/AC inside the rooms are incredibly noisy -everything looks kind of cheap/ like it was badly built -the milk that they offer for breakfast along with cornflakes and coffee was expired -fridge was way too full and smelled bad; should've been cleaned out -staff was not that competent eg we had to discuss with the staff to get our key deposit back etc."
"The stay was ok. It was really noisy in the night which woke me up 2-3 times per night and made it hard to sleep. The staff was really helpful when I had problems but they did not care about people yelling and being very loud. There were some people checking in late at night and the staff just turned on the lights and woke me and my friend up. The showers were clean and the rooms were clean. All in all the hostel was ok and because of the price I would stay here again. Really helpful staff! "

"I stayed at hotel españa 8 years ago and the service, cleanliness and welcome of the staff was way better than today. I came here for the weekend with my father, and we both agreed that the service does not match 4 stars hotel standards. The rooms are not cleaned well enough, the luggage aren’t taken to your room when you arrived or back downstairs when you are leaving. I could hear everything that was going on in the halls and the interior patio, they did not think of soundproofing the rooms considering the echo created by the architecture. Also, the worst thing is being woken up by housekeeping at 8 am on a Saturday when you are here to REST. The staff is very uneven (good representation of the society we live in but not good for hospitality): half of them are very welcoming and nice and the other half were borderline rude and pretentious. The hotel in itself is beautiful, even if the terrasse is not maintained properly compared to when I came 8 years ago. It is a shame that the staff and management doesn’t entirely reflect the great potential of this place. PS: the doorman was the best of them all, always with a smile and a kind word - he should work at reception !"
"I would like to share my opinion about the hotel where we’re always staying when we are in Barcelona. Rooms are nice and cosy, great roof terrace bar with and swimming pool. Location is perfect, close to everything. What makes this hotel more special is lovely Tom from reception, thanks to him people feel so welcome there. Every time we are going to stay there we are also happy to see Tom again. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone, I’m one of those ppl who are a bit picky and I expect from 4/5 stars hotels a lot and honestly this hotel is perfect 👍 Muchas gracias and we’ll be back soon 😍"
"We travelled in December and spent 10 days at this hotel . Jundi helped with all of our needs as well as the rest of the staff. Hotel provides Breakfast at additional cost and locations could not be better . Close to La Boqueria , La Rambla , Bombay Spice Great Indian food steps away . Very close to Diagnóstic Test to get your return Covid test for 35 euros . Very close to La Sagrada Familia , Picasso Museum . Must visit Dali Museum and house . Don’t miss Montjuic, Montserrat , La Pedrera ,Park Guell"

"The couple, together with a 10-year-old girl, booked an executive room for two nights, July 16-17. When you arrive at the hotel, the front desk must say that children under the age of two are free. We must pay for the extra bed. This is the case for the entire Barcelona hotel. The final calculation is for a long time. Let us add 100 euros for one night and 200 euros for two nights. At that time, because people were sick and sick, they could not argue. But before staying in Madrid VP PLAZA for four nights, the hotel simply confiscates the extra bed fee. Later, on the third day, we moved to Barcelona's EI PALACE HOTEL BARCELONA. The hotel reception desk looked at the three of us and immediately asked us if we needed it! The bed, we said, wait, when we arrived at the room, the waiter had moved the bed to the room and quickly laid the bed. Compared to GRAND CENTRAL, the service is really different. Therefore, families with children are strongly advised not to choose GRAND CENTRAL!"
"This a top-notch hotel in a perfect location in Barcelona for seeing the city. The welcome we received when we first arrived at the hotel was perfect and then everytime we left or arrived, everybody at front of house was so friendly. Everything about the hotel is fantastic and we especially enjoyed having a morning swim in the pool and cocktails in the evening Jaime in particular was really helpful when he helped us organise our onwards travel. He was also always very welcoming and friendly. A great asset to the hotel! When we next stay in Barcelona, the hotel will definitely be our first choice."
"This is a fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. Our room was very comfortable with a very nice bed, blackout blind, good bathroom et cetera. It felt very private and quiet. All of the staff without exception were excellent. Special mention to the always friendly and smiling staff on the front desk plus the French girl who works at breakfast and on the rooftop bar. She went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and the cocktails at the bar were delicious. Our only slight complaint is that the pool is a bit too cold!"

"The Hotel interior design is very elegant and of very good taste. Nice location, central but not noisy. The security is good : you need your room key to use the elevator and stairs. The perfume smell of the lobby is a little too harsh. Nice mint/lemon water with sweets offered at the reception. Staff is very helpful, competent and fluent in English. The room is big, luminous and clean. The bed is very comfortable. We also had bath robes and slippers in the bathroom which is nice. Would have been more practical if the light switch of the bath room was inside or more near. Also a coffee machine in the room would have been a nice plus. The daily challenge at breakfast was to open the little butter plastics. But… breakfast was impeccable : everything was fresh and nice. Crispy bacon, eggs, good bread, fresh fruit, cheese and charcuterie, salmon, fresh juices… 5 star breakfast. We will definitely come back."
"Only stayed for one night, but the room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is well-located. Would definitely stay here again if the location suits. Just a note that the bathroom layout is a bit unconventional and is probably best for comfortable travel buddies."
"Stayed here for 2 nights this week and loved it a little bit away from the main strip but lovely all round looking forward to staying here again very secure very chic boutique the way it's designed extremely comfy bed and helpful staff"

"The most expensive hotel I stayed in during my trip to Spain. I was a bit disappointed when I first stayed because the decoration seemed too simple. I felt OK after staying for three days. I was completely moved by the hotel's service. I would clean it twice a day. At night Would make a night bed. The waiters were very good. They didn't have breakfast in the hotel. They had dinner in the hotel. It was very delicious. If you had dinner, you must order a meal. The taste and texture were better than those in the restaurant outside. There are Chinese waiters, and the waiters have high value. The cheaper luxury rooms in the room are not recommended for individuals. There is no bathtub in this room. The room is modified for the disabled. From this room, it can be seen that the hotel considers the thoughtful service. It is close to the elevator. Considering the needs of the disabled, we can see that the hotel service is meticulous. I think that to experience this hotel, it is better to stay in the more expensive room, that is, the side along the street."
"The location is superb, just around the corner of the main street, LV is diagonally across the road, so it's easy to find! A 5-10 minute walk is the Gaudi building that two tourists must visit, and there are many restaurants around! The hotel is very quiet, and the most convenient is to replace the room card with a fingerprint, so don't worry about it all day long! The drinks in the mini bar in the room are also free to drink, and they are replenished daily. The staff are super nice. If you go to Barcelona again, you must choose this hotel."
"The location is quite good, the opposite is LV, buy the package is not afraid to be stolen and robbed, first return to the hotel. Barcelona is really dangerous now and must live in this formal safe luxury hotel. Service personnel are also professional. The front desk lady sister Nice who will speak Chinese."
