"We had previously stayed at this hotel in June 2016 and loved that trip, so after our original summer holiday this year was cancelled, we opted to try for an October half term break back at the Blue Lagoon Village in the hope that we could get away for a much-needed break in the sun. This year the hotel had opened a number of new developments; a new block of swim-up rooms, a new restaurant, and two new swimming pools. Having booked a swim-up room we were lucky to be upgraded to a two-bedroom room in the new ‘8000s’ block. Firstly, the resort itself. It’s huge, but never feels crowded thanks to the number of pools, swim-up rooms and restaurants available. It’s quite hilly in places but the hotel offers a golf buggy service with staff on hand to transport you to other areas of the resort, and this comes in handy at times. The resort is spotlessly clean, the architecture is classy with a mix of a modern and traditional feel, and the grounds are immaculately kept, with a team of staff working throughout the day to tend to the beautiful flowers and grassy areas. Our room back in 2016 (twin, sea view) was lovely so we expected similar, and our room this year was just as good. Modern, high quality fittings, a big bathroom with separate shower and bath, very comfortable beds, and flat screen TVs in both rooms which had access to the main British channels. Due to COVID, unfortunately there were no tea & coffee facilities but it was no great loss. The fridge in the room was handy and we kept it stocked with bottles of water (which you can pick up from any of the hotel’s bars) and other drinks we’d purchased from the mini market on site. The room had a large outdoor terrace with four sun loungers, and the pool outside was lovely and peaceful, but getting in was a bit tricky with the water being so cold! But as ever once you’re in, it’s fine. We ate at the Aegean buffet restaurant for breakfast and some evening meals, and the setup there was great. Masks had to be worn on entering, hand sanitiser used and a glove was provided to use when handling serving utensils. Being a buffet, naturally some dishes were repeated on subsequent visits but there was plenty of choice if you wanted something different. I’ve seen people complain of cold food but from my experience that’s a ridiculous claim. Being a buffet of course not everything will remain piping hot but there are kitchen staff on hand changing the food on a regular basis and the food was perfectly warm to eat. The serving staff in this restaurant were amazing and the head waitress at breakfast (I can’t remember her name) was consistently pleasant and made you feel very welcome. Some evenings we ate in the new Ocean restaurant and found the standard of food here to be even better, with themed menus and a lovely outdoor dining area. Overall the experience here was much more relaxed. For your stay you are permitted to visit the a la carte restaurants on site and these are booked via the ‘Exclusivi’ app -"
"We had such a lovely stay at the Blue Lagoon Village. I would happily go back again. During covid it felt very safe - the staff all wore masks and safety measures in the buffets were excellent. The site is spread out and pretty. The room was very comfortable (we had a family room - two bedrooms and one bathroom), with two balconies and a lovely sea view. We were all very happy in the room and had enough space for 5. The food is really excellent. As with anywhere with a buffet, after a while it can feel repetitive, but there was actually a good variety with different themes and slightly different styles in the different restaurants. You can book each a la carte once each week - the Chinese and the Italian were both excellent, the adventure BBQ was a nice change, but less impressive. There are a variety of pools, and we could always get sunbeds, although it sometimes took a little while to find enough for 5. We highly recommend the water sports on the beach. A lovely team of really nice guys, who made you feel very safe and between us we ended up doing 5 different activities! The slides are nothing to get excited about, but a trip to the water park on the island is worthwhile. If you hire a car, we also highly recommend the thermal springs. One of the highlights of our stay was the lovely waiting staff. We particularly want to mention Xanthi in the Greek taverna and Alexandra and Daniel in the main restaurant. They were so friendly and warm and we really enjoyed chatting with them as well as feeling very well looked after."
"After all the negative reviews on here just wanted to let everyone no. This place is lovely, spacious pool areas are amazing. Never short of sunbeds Rooms are a little dated needs a bit of a face lift. But they are clean and comfortable .cleaners are in everyday.Me & my husband have had a lovely time here the staff are fabulous can't do enough for you. The food occasionally is just warm not hot. But definitely not cold as some of these reviews state and there is something for everyone. Another bad comment on here was the gentleman doing the eggs in the morning. Don't no what they mean by that we have been here 11 days same gentleman and he has been absolutely fantastic. Overall we had a fabulous time weather was great for November staff work there butt's off.Just trying make you enjoy your time here. Hats off to all the staff. They are a credit to the blue lagoon resort. Hope to be back soon xxx"

"We booked this on the Tuesday and flew on the Saturday, for a much needed holiday of rest, sun and relaxation after working throughout the pandemic. The entire holiday did not disappoint. Most definitely a 4* resort. Cleanliness was absolute top all the way from reception to the pools to the gardens to the restaurant to the rooms. It literally shone clean. The staff throughout worked so hard, they were exceptionally friendly but professional and the crew in the restaurant worked morning and night and worked so hard, they were amazing. Thank you to every single one of them. The food at breakfast and dinner was buffet style (we were half board) and the choices to eat were very varied. All food was quality, well presented with loads of choice. In the evening you could eat different each night, likewise at breakfast there was that much choice from fresh fruit, yoghurts, smoothies, freshly made crepes, an array of cooked items, biscuits, cakes cheeses, and plenty of lovely coffee!!! The drinks were extra obviously with plenty of choices to drink at, pool bars, restaurant, beach bar etc. And again served very professionally, good prices and plenty of choices. Cocktails especially nice, and a good size serving of Greek mataxa if that's to your taste, as it was mine! The pool areas as beautiful, plenty of sunbeds, clean, and surrounded by the most lush gardens. The entire resort is very lush, very well kept beautiful gardens. Its stunning. The resort is on the beach, again which is lovely. We used the horizon surf centre just along the beach for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, again good prices, professional friendly guys who ran it, with plenty of equipment to go round. The sea is so clear and was a good temperature for swimming in in October. The sun set over the sea, stunning skies from the beach and from our balcony. We had a garden view, but could actually see the sea as well. The view was stunning. The room plenty big enough for 2. It was 2 single beds pushed together which was a shame, but again they were plenty big enough. Plenty of wardrobe space, a fridge, a tv, and a good size bathroom with bath a good shower. House keeping every other day, changed towels, sheets and thoroughly cleaned. Only downside was no kettle so couldnt have a coffee on waking! Apart from that minor issue we could not fault this hotel. Plenty to do, stunning, clean, excellent service throughout, would highly recommend."
"This was our first time in Kos and we travelled with Jet 2 holidays. This is a new resort for Jet2. The hotel is very close to the airport, just 10 - 15 mins away but not near enough to be bothered by aircraft noise. We arrived quite late at night and the hotel had added picnic bags in our room, which was a really nice touch. Check in was efficient and a buggy took us to our room with our luggage. The resort grounds are really beautiful, really well maintained and clean. We were positioned near the Oasis bar 2 pool, which was a great position as it was near to reception, the restaurant and two of the pools but also only a couple of mins walk from the beach. The paths to the rooms and facilities are on a slight incline. There are paths everywhere that are easy to use. They are expanding the hotel and there are new pools plus a new restaurant. We generally used the Oasis pool 2. The service was great here, the lady who served us was very friendly. There were plenty of sunbeds and the pools consisted of a separate child's pool and a large pool, with the deeper end separated by a rope. The pool was very clean and warm enough to swim in. Towels can be hired for a few Euro each, they are not the best towels and had to be changed at the beach within set times, which was annoying. It would be better to also have a towel swap at the pool too. The beach was nice and good for swimming, the sea was warm. Sunbeds can be rented for 3euros each per day. The room was very clean and had most things we needed. There is a mini market which had everything you could need for a holiday. Water could be bought here and then the room had a fridge. There was also a gift shop and a car hire outlet. There were three restaurants. The main restaurant is used for breakfast and evening meal. The Taverna restaurant is open during the day, we ate here a few times and the food and service was good. Food from here can also be ordered to the pool bars, There is a new burger restaurant just opened which also offers sandwiches, The meals at Taverna were all quite large, it would be good to have more snack options for lunch. Breakfast and dinner could get quite busy. Breakfast choice was extensive. The juice was not very nice. Dinner could get very busy at the buffet. The food was average and was the only thing that let the resort down. A few of the dishes were very nice but overall was not great. After 3 nights, we had definitely had enough of eating there. It would be good to have alternative restaurants open at night to have a better choice. Other restaurants etc were around 25 mins walk away. Rooms have a safe, which you can use for an additional fee. Overall we would recommend this resort, it is a beautifully maintained resort with great staff and good facilities."
"We stayed at Horizon Beach Resort for 4 nights. The hotel is predominantly German. So much so that we were on more than one occasion asked how we got there and did, at times, feel out of place. Staff spoke English no problem however but bear in mind all entertainment etc will be in German. The hotel is situated very close to the airport, only 10-15 mins away with no aircraft noise. Ideal for a short trip. There’s little else going on in the area, very quiet aside from Tam Tam a lovely yoga property with a bar and restaurant and other hotels you can access from the beach. (We visited Casa Cook for a drink one afternoon, highly recommend). There is however a bus stop directly outside the hotel that takes you to Kos Town in about 30 mins for 3 euros. You can pick up a timetable at reception. Kos Town is beautiful with much to see and do. There’s also a shop located just outside the hotel where you can pick up food, water, sun screen and lilos etc at a cheaper price to the on site hotel shop. The hotel is being renovated (at no inconvenience to guests, we didn’t see any work whilst we were there) and we stayed in the new part of the hotel. Our room was beautiful with an incredible sea view. The best part of the stay was viewing the sun set from our balcony. We were taken to our room by a buggy which was a nice touch and they collected us and our suitcases like this at check out also. Minor points about the room; we were not provided with body lotion or conditioner so remember to bring your own. Limited English channels on the TV also so bring a laptop/HDMI cable if you want to watch anything that isn’t the news. Other than that it was lovely! The hotel itself benefits from 4 pools, 2 brand new, so there was never a shortage of sun beds. Two pools look directly over the ocean which is beautiful. Towels are available for a few euros. The hotel also benefits from a private beach however you have to pay extra to use a sunbed on the beach (3 Euros per person per day) which I personally think is disappointing considering the hotel advertises itself as a beach resort so you would assume this was included. As such, we stuck to the pool and only went for walks on the beach. The sea was choppy when we were there but settled for our last day and many were swimming in it. Water sports were available and there was a local surf centre. There are also other activities you can participate in during the day time. The aqua aerobics was particularly good and the staff member who facilitated it made it great fun. Again however this was all in German so at times difficult to follow with no translation. There is also a spa on site but it was small and over priced. To use the sauna/steam room it was 15 euros for 30 mins. There was no indoor swimming pool. The gym was small however had an ok amount of machines. The half board option takes part in the main restaurant which I believe is new. The breakfast buffet is extensive with fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, cereal a"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Neptune Hotels Kos last 11-21 August 2020. All the people were lovely - The food was amazing. Prior to coming, we were about apprehensive to travel because of the Covid-19 situation, but we originally booked this holiday in January 2020 (even before Coronavirus). We felt very safe and secure when we arrived in Neptune. There were safety precautions everywhere (sun beds were being wiped and cleaned after every use, masks in common areas/the Market, etc.). Our room was lovely - We originally booked a standard double room, but we were upgraded to a more modern Superior one - so that was a lovely start to our holiday. Lovely modern room with led lights, a fridge, and spacious cupboards. Bathroom was also very nice and modern. Loved the showers. Good location too as we were just near the market and the main building. Our favourite restaurant was the Taverna (Mike’s and Thanasis were so nice and friendly), but all the other restaurants such as Meats and the Italian were nice as well. We didn’t try the main buffet at night, but we had the breakfast buffet which could get busy but we figured out the time that worked for us. Also loved the gelateria - Emma was so lovely! The resort is so lovely - the staff are sooo lovely (especially the guys from the Neppi Kids Club - My daughter Maisie absolutely loved everyone especially Bill). Our daughter loved the kid’s club so much that she went there almost everyday. They also let us stay in a temporary double room prior to our late departure (since we could not stay in our original room), so we were able to rest and refresh/shower before we flew back to England. Just a tip - Get a bug spray! Since we went in August which is mosquito season, it would be nice to have bug spray. They are selling it in the market as well. My husband and daughter didn’t get bitten as much as I was, but it’s not a biggie to me. Would like to thank all the lovely staff: Reservations - Katerina Front Desk - Alkis, Constantinos, Fay Neppi Land Kids Club - Bill, Leonie, Esme, Rafael, Natasha Taverna - Mikes, Thanasis, Spyros Breakfast - Elektra, Dimitris, Mikes (from Taverna) Troj Bar - Elisavet Meats - Christos, Thanasis (also from Taverna), Anastasia, Spyros Gelateria - Emma Room Service - Aggelika Apollo Theatre Bar - Evilena, Vangelis Cleaner - Laureta Pool Bar - Rafaela"
"Our whole family loved this place. The most remarkable and outstanding feature for us besides the wonderful beaches was definitely the amazing food at the buffets. Everything was very fresh and tasty! The rooms are very nice and perfectly equipped for a lovely stay, also the staff is super friendly. There is a great amount of activities offered every day, so no time to get bored. We also loved the green/ecological ideas behind the whole organization! Due to the hotel category the evening drinks etc were a bit pricey but still ok and we also very soon found out about the nice sports pub just across the street from the parking lot whose lovely owner tries to please every customer. After a couple of days we also discovered Tamtam Beach which is quite nearby and also totally worth a visit. In conclusion we had a great time at the hotel and would love to come back sometime. PS: It is a mostly German hotel which we didn't love but managed to ignore successfully :) "
"Great location . Beautiful beach . Very nice rooms with view ,Excellent and professional staff especially Monika ♥️ and Christos (breakfast and dinner) and miss Sofia the front office manager: she offered us an upgrade for free because of an internal error of our travel agent. The prices at the hotel are very high for Greece for example one single espresso 3.50 EUR. We will come back for sure ! "

"I've been the last two weeks of August at the resort with with my wide and two children and mini- apartments with all amenities. The village is quiet and silent all day and sleeping is excellent. Linen are changed every three days and cleaning everyday. Staff are polite and ready to help guests. The place is close to the airport but 30 minutes away from main locations so you need to rent a car and we did it from the hotel reception. Overall a nice and relaxing holiday and I suggest the resort as it provides a high quality at an affordable price."
"Taxi drivers hate the roads leading into Small Village, they aren't just pot holes they are crators!!!! This seriously needs addressed from the hotel and URGENTLY...take note Small Village. The staff were friendly, especially the hard-working French students, the pool and views pool were nice, the pool restaurant though you will find is way over priced for food and drinks.....the music play list is a lot to be desired with offensive music for younger kids!!!! The apartment was nice, BUT no hot water for a shower in the morning as the water is heated by solar panels.........although in the evening the water was hot enough for a shower. A massive disadvantage to Small Village is you need to get a taxi or hired car to go anywhere, even for a small supermarket. The shuttle bus provided was at 10am in the morning picking you up at 6pm......I think this should be widely increased by the owners to offer far more of a service. Don't get me wrong, the actual complex was nice despite being fairly close to the Power Station, I would go back but only if the above were addressed. Gordon Mitchell - Formerly Room 213"
"Lovely hotel in a very beautiful location. Gardens and pools very clear. We enjoyed our time in the gym, reading in the library or simply having a drink by the pool listening to pleasant music. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices. The hotel staff made us feel like at home. They were so kind and helpful. We will come back again! "

"We have recently returned from a 10 night stay at this friendly hotel. With its beach front location this hotel offers excellent views across the bsy. The reception area is bright and airy with plenty of seating to relax in at the end of the day or whilst waiting to be picked up for trips or return to airport. If you arrive late you may need to go down to the bar area to get someone to check you in. The majority of rooms have a sea view, some more than others, ours had a full panoramic view and the sound of the waves in the store was a very relaxing sound at night. Though the rooms are compact and have set rooms, rather than a bathroom, they are comfortable and let's face it your only going to use it for showering and sleeping because the rest of the time you will be in the sun or dinning out. The balcony or veranda has a table and chairs with room to stretch out. If you want either a kettle or fridge in your room these are available at a charge as is the air conditioning and safe. The pool is small and has a limited number of sun lounger though there are plenty on the beach, again at a charge, or just spread you towel out on the sand. Breakfast is of a continental style and is adequate, most people should find enough to eat. The two restaraunts attached to the hotel sell a range of dishes, that big that two people could share one,. The bar area has plenty of seating and offers a range of local and international brands. All the staff and cleaners are friendly and helpful with some speaking English better than others. Our overall impression is that this a relaxing place to unwind."
"Just returned from a lovely, relaxing week here which was the last week of the season. A small family run hotel right on the beach with a pool and a fabulous taverna. The asian restaurant was closed as it was late in the season but the taverna serves excellent food. My room was quite small, perfect for just me but not sure about two people sharing. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the bathroom was tiny and showering requires a certain knack. I use kitchen towels to soak up the inevitable spillage but it is a typical greek bathroom and not without its charm. Stamatis is a lovely chap and so are the rest of the staff and i was made very welcome. It was very quiet and i had the pool to myself most days . I was recuperating after an illness so didnt stray far, however Kefalos is a quiet resort at the best of times, perfect for a really relaxing break. I would definitely come back here maybe earlier in the season next time. Recommend highly for sole female travellers."
"We stayed here for a week in September 2020 and will definitely holiday here again. Antonio and family, in fact all the staff, were so welcoming, happy and helpful from the moment we arrived. We had a seaview room with balcony that was clean and very comfortable. The food was exceptional with generous sized portions, cooked to order. The dining area was right alongside the beach and was very atmospheric. Much of Kefalos was closed due to Covid-19 however we wanted a beach holiday with plenty of swimming and relaxation and that was what we got. The weather was lovely, the beer was cold, the sea was warm and sunbeds with beach umbrellas were available and all within a few metres. The hotel followed Covid-19 rules and we felt safe walking about the resort and particuarly around the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we wish to thank Antonio and his team for a fabulous holiday. Two beers, please."

"Seven friends and I showed up to Atacames for Carnaval with a larger group than expected, so 3 people from our group were ready to stay in Rio Atacames as we found it was one of the only hotels in the area with fair ratings. We show up and are greeted through a peep hole, and then do a short tour. After a brief inspection, we decide it looks clean enough to sleep in for a few nights so we decide to pay for a room up front in cash for all 4 nights. We come back later with our friends who will be staying there to drop off their bags, so the lady running the place takes us up to the room with towels and leaves them on the bed...which we then realize has bed bugs/eggs all over the pillows. When we bring that to her attention she rushes to a new room without a word and ushers us in there to inspect-no bed bugs are found- so she moves their bags and towels(now covered in bed bugs??). My friends are hesitant to stay there, but without a bed bug in sight they settle on staying there. Fast forward 5 hours: bedtime comes around and we head our separate ways. Once they arrived to the hotel, they checked the beds one more time-THANKFULLY-because low and behold there are more. bed. bugs. They leave and find a new hostel to spend the night before heading back to get a refund. THE REFUND WAS REFUSED. FOUR NIGHTS WORTH. The next thing I hear is that my friends had to get police and the owner of a major hotel involved to get even a partial refund (wouldn't refund us from the first night+deposit). The lady in charge and her partner stretched out the refund-paying over three days, with each day grew our frustration and their hostility: first day half in cash, the second day half in COINS which we had to count and got yelled at for questioning their counting abilities, and we came back a third day for $5.... Thankfully we have no intentions of returning to Atacames or to Rio Atacames."
"The room was relatively big and very clean. Air-conditioning, refrigerator and TV were functioning perfectly. There is a safe in the room for keeping cards, money etc. The location is excellent. One can go to the beach within few minutes. Bank ATMs and many shops at a walking distance. I will prefer this hotel when I visit Kardamena again."
"Our first time at Rio Hotel and Kardamena and we were pleasantly surprised. This is a small hotel in a great location in the centre of town. We stayed on a room only basis and found the bedroom and bathroom to be of a good size and kept very clean. We had a small balcony at the back of hotel which was ideal in early evening as it was out of the main sun. Large fridge and safe in room - both were free. For pool and sun bathing we went to Peters Kool Pool everyday where enjoyed a large pool, good food and drink - access was free (but don’t take your own food or drink in). No thrills but more than adequate and we would have no hesitation in returning."

"This is by far our best holiday (honeymoon .... we have both had one before and can say that with integrity) we have ever had.... We will certainly be back there next year. We have to say that there are some faults with this hotel (I will address these) however we have had such a fantastic time that they pale well in to oblivion.... the staff are so so so cheerful and happy and accommodating that you almost feel part of the hotel family. The rooms are comfy and clean ... I have seen the shower comments of past (on trip advisor) however it’s not a chore to hold the shower really is it??? Yes if it was on the wall then it would be the icing on the cake.... but really it’s minor! Food... yes was on the cooler side but i found it tasty and good to eat... PS no issue on the food poison front.....we always go out for a couple of meals during our holiday and we didn’t change that.... if you stay here or you do you really need to eat at Mama Marianas ..restaurant behind the hotel.... the garlic cheese bread is to die for!!!! You will have seen the mention of Alexandra in the bar.... she is the hart and front of the hotel.. yes she is the most amazing person that makes all of you feel the most important one of her ‘baby’s’ as she call us all 😂 however she is a person that means exactly what she says ... you want something she hasn’t got it she sends out for it. All in all this is a fantastic place. "
"My mother and I spent a lovely week here in the beautiful Kardamena. When we first arrived late at night we was met by this lovely lady Sofia who was more than helpful to answer any questions that we had about either the resort or the town itself. We had a few drinks down at the bar and then headed up to bed. The bed was so comfortable and to be lay there listening to the waves crash on the rocks was amazing! The room itself was lovely and cozy, however the only things I think could be improved is by putting tea and coffee facilities in the room with a TV that has a few more channels. The next morning we went down to breakfast where we was greated by a few more members of staff. Again all very friendly welcoming and lovely like Ioannis & Klejdi who were both always full of smiles and could never do enough for you! With regards to the food I'm a very picky eater anyway but the food was alright and fairly tasty. I would say that maybe there needs to be a side menu that you can choose from as in my case I didn't eat much whist I was there but definitely drank plenty from the bar! Maybe a few more bottles of spirits or bottles of cider to be added to the bar but other than that I can't fault the bar. The WiFi needs to be sorted out so that it can reach your rooms rather than just downstairs. Overall I've had a very positive & amazing time here and felt very welcomed to be there too! It's situated right next to the beach which was gorgeous and there's loads of things to do in the beautiful town of Kardamena :) whether that's a 3 Bay cruise which my mum and I done and it was such a giggle or relaxing in any of the lovely chilled bars. All the locals are so lovely and inviting and will always stop to say hello and ask how you are! I hope to be returning in 2021 with my family and hope that the stay then will be as amazing and beautiful as the stay I've had this time with my mum! Thankyou for making our holiday lovely and well done to the staff of Island Resorts Maya :)"
"We spent 2 weeks in the pretty village of Kardamena on Kos Island a very nice place with loads to do (Recommended). The hotel we stayed in was the Island Resort (ex valirakis). First, I’d like to thank the hotel who let us stay in the room free of charge as we had a early morning flight back home and I think I know the reason why. When we arrived early morning 3.30 am, we checked in very fast and off to room No 1. The room from hell (We stayed in the outside building not in the actual hotel). As we opened the door the room was smelling of damp, lights were broken only one was working and the bed was making noise like a machine gun every time we moved. In the morning I went straight to reception to complain and they gave us room No2. From 1st to 2nd floor, I can say the room was big with lovely big bed I will post photos, but the problems don’t stop here TV not working, the wardrobes are small kids size to put your clothes in and could not close the doors ( not a chance doors stay’s open for another reason as well). Bathroom was a disaster there were no towel holders not a shelve for your toothbrush for my shaving stuff. There was not a toilet holder for the toilet paper we had to leave it on the floor or by the water tank behind your back, in the shower they didn’t have a shower holder the drain in the floor was broken and always a bad smell coming out, in the sink the plug was broken and no hair dryer. After I complain again, they offer us room No3. When I went to see the room it was again very good size the bathroom was up to date but the mattress was bad you could see the springs not very good for sleeping, the wardrobe was kids size again and to my surprise there weren’t any units or shelving for your underclothes, the manager actually said you do not need wardrobes keep your clothes in your suitcase. So back to reception for room No4. The room was small no problem with that but exactly the same problems as room No3. After that I personally had an argument with the manager who threatened to throw us out of the hotel for all the above problems with the rooms. The safe is by the reception and they charge 65 Flipping Euros for 12 days never payed this amount before in any hotel we have been. Any way we bite the bullet and stay in the 2nd room for the rest of the holiday, but I can confirm after we saw the handy man, he did some work in the bathroom to keep us happy. The hotel is right by the beach but needs very big update to be of good standards (I can’t see this happening). The pool is ok small size with few sunbeds around not enough for 160 guests at peak time, there are sunbeds in front of the hotel, out of date dirty and broken and the hotel charge 6 Euros a day. A few steps away they only cost 5 Euros and better area for swimming, the beach in front of the hotel is stony. Now we are going to the bar, the bar only has 5 flipping bottles of the cheapest alcohol you can imagine and not only that what flipping all-inclusive hotel runs out of"

"I am staying here at moment and I am having the most relaxed holiday in an amazing setting. The rooms are basic but spotless and are cleaned every day. I asked for a sea view and I got one and I am not disappointed. On arrival at 9-30pm we were greeted by John who was very friendly and gave us a large bottle of nice cold water which was very much appreciated after our long journey from glasgow. Nothing us too much bother from all staff who are very friendly. Chrissie the manager runs the pool bar and she is so friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. She knows all customers by name which I think is brilliant and makes u feel welcome. The pool is amazing with amazing views of the sea and it is located right on the beach. The food is great and very cheap and large portions given. The hotel bar closes at 6 but this is not a problem as there are many bars and tavernas within walking distance and it's great to have the peace and quiet on our return later that night. I would happily return here again and I highly recommend a visit. If u are thinking of coming here DO IT u won't b disappointed. I am here until the 1st Oct 2018 and I am absolutely loving it. Thank u Ionikos for a brilliant holiday in amazing settings."
"With the ionikos hotel,s pool open to the public my wife and i visited twice, each time there was plenty of beds available and we really enjoyed swimming in the pool.We cannot comment on the accommodation but regards to the outer area it is situated in a perfect position overlooking the beach and beyond. Each day we were there we had lunch and found the food really tasty and the staff very friendly especially the american greek lady (sorry we did not find out what her name was).We generally drink dry red wine and when we asked for some the lady searched the store and found a bottle which we really enjoyed. The following day when we went for lunch she had went out of her way and bought another bottle for us which we thought was a really nice touch.Overall we found the ionikis as far as the outside area, staff, and food were concerned a really nice place to visit."
"We visited this hotel pool and restaurant for 10 days recently. Although we were not staying in this hotel the rooms at the back all appeared to have fantastic sea views. The pool was very good and the beds were not cramped round it. The lunch time snack menu was excellent and the portions served were massive and excellent value. Chrisi ran things and she was brilliant and could not do enough for you. She really made our stay there memorable."

"Booked via booking.com. €60 double room Air con included. It was very efficient. Got off at bus stop. Albeit Hotel it is only 100m from road. No direct path. Had to walk a massive dogs leg to get there. Owner did say he would have picked me up. I did not know this otherwise would have defiantly done it. Room very tidy. Nice bed, but shower cubicle small, in fact would say if you are of a large disposition, you would not get in it!! Breakfast continental standard fare."
"We have been in this hotel from aug 21 till Aug 26 ( 5 nights ) The position is convenient, the access to the sea is difficult, completely dark in the night, the breakfast is ok, the mattresses are old, the price is good. The ladies at the hotel were really glad and warm to us."
