My wife and I stayed for three nights at this charming hotel in mid May. Situated about 10-15 walk from the town centre and facing the lake it was a delight to stay in. The staff were all very professional and helpful and they all made us feel welcomed every time we bumped into one of them. Our room faced the lake and had a small balcony which was great to have a glass of wine and watch traffic go by. The promenade out by the lake was a perfect way to walk and relax and enjoy the area.The hotel was very clean and any question I had was always promptly answered. We enjoyed our stay so much we would have stayed another night if we could have cancelled our travel plans for the day we had to leave. Overall a great place to stay!

The hotel location is 15 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station. The first time is hard to find. The hotel is in an inner street. The navigation must be well used. There are many attractions near the hotel, and it is convenient to cross the river to the old town. Breakfast at the hotel is ok, you can eat it full, meat and cheese are abundant, breakfast must be full, you can save a lot of money. The hotel room is very clean and comfortable. The only bad thing is that the hotel has cooperation with local travel in China. It receives a lot of Chinese tour groups every day. The key point is here. The 3 days I stayed, the tour groups I met were very unqualified. Noisy, the corridors are not soundproof, they are particularly noisy, which seriously affects the rest. It is recommended that the hotel area be divided into tourists and tour groups. Breakfast should also be staggered. Otherwise, there is nothing to eat. . I stayed at the Gasthaus Badhof for a week. I booked on the hotel website and got a special price for staying seven days in a row. The hotel is located in a quiet town five minutes by car from the centre of Lucerne. I went down walking to the city in less than an hour twice, walking along the edge of the lake to the city. There is a bus line -free for being a hotel guest- with a stop a few meters away, very convenient for the return, uphill. It is a one-story building with twelve very spacious rooms (50 m2). The architecture is very modern and the quality of the construction, facilities and furniture are excellent. The bathroom is integrated into the room, the shower is a very well built glazed hurna. Each room has a large covered terrace where you can admire the magnificent landscape: an nine-hole golf course and, in the background, Lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. You can walk or go jogging around. I had an underground parking space -with charging point for my electric car- with direct access to the room by elevator -no additional charge-. On the ground floor is the reception and the restaurant lounge with large windows to the golf and exit to sit outside. The breakfast is not of great variety -because the hotel is small- but it is served in a very correct way and with fresh products of very good quality. All the hotel staff and golf course caretakers are very friendly and professional. They are always willing to help and showing their best smile. I think it is an ideal place to stay to visit Switzerland staying in a real four-star hotel, modern, quiet, clean, discreet, convenient and reasonably priced.

The hotel is about 300 meters next to the train station, just across the road. However, as a girl, the shower room is a bit crowded when taking a shower, and occasionally touches the wall, which is as big as dried tofu.

My husband and I stayed at this very pleasant hotel for 5 nights. Our quiet room faced the river, with lovely views. Our bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed getting chocolates every night. Convenient to the train station as well as the Old Town and shopping districts. The front desk staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and was available to answer questions throughout our stay. Our bathroom included L’Occitaine bath products and a tub as well as an enclosed shower. I found the shower somewhat claustrophobic, but my husband liked it.

We stayed at the Hermitage and it was a perfect choice for us. The hotel is away from the city center but the bus stop that takes you there is in front of the hotel entrance and you get to the city center in 15 mins tops. But staying here you get the most perfect unobstructed views to enjoy, and not even pedestrians walking in front of the hotel. It was just perfect. The room was clean and service was great. We would go back to this same hotel if we were to visit Luzern a second time.
