51 Chaussée de Namur, Profondeville, Namur, Belgium
"Boutique hotel in ProfondevilleCalm, charm and authenticity on the riversideWelcome to the Hotel Vedette, a haven of peace, where past and present meet.On the banks of the Meuse, this setting is revealed along the water, luminous and elegant, between Namur and Dinant.More than a hotel, this former mansion house has been entirely renovated to become a magnificent 4-star hotel and now offers six refined and spacious rooms and suites. In this intimate place, time flows differently. First of all, there is the one you will take for yourself, in an atmosphere of intimacy. Avenue de la Plante 23, Namur, Belgium
"Good experience with some let downs: Very well designed rooms and common areas; rooms are small but do not feel constricted (except for the wardrobe which is a design failure); bed was very comfortable and rooms are quiet; good equipment; spa is nice but I did not appreciate that you have to pay extra for it - at the very least it should be included when you book a massage; location was good, with a 10 minute walk from the city centre; staff was ok but not overly friendly; biggest let-down was the breakfast, which was far too basic and low quality for the EUR 20 asking price - this I would avoid at all costs; all in all good experience, in line with the very reasonable price (around EUR 100) we paid."
"A quirky hotel with nice and comfy, albeit small, rooms. Be warned that the showers are open-plan, which is lovely if you’re in an enormous suite in a boutique hotel in Sri Lanka but a bit close for comfort in a relatively cosy room in Namur, though it has to be said the shower was brilliant and the toiletries amusingly presented in Snail-like bottles. Staff were friendly, the location was good and they do a decent breakfast as well. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the menu certainly looked intriguing..."
"I booked two nights for a business trip. I wrote in advance to let them know I was vegan. the first room I was offered was a child's room. It was tiny and it smelled bad (sewage) . I asked to be changed, due to full occupancy I can only be changed for one night, so tomorrow I am supposed to go and spend the evening like Alice in wonderland - but without the wonder. The hotel looks nice, there is a degree of design. I went to the restaurant and reminded them I had written ahead to say I was vegan, I was told that tonight it was too difficult as the menu is full of meat and I should have booked in advance (I thought emailing them and telling them was actually booking in advance). So after a long day of traveling there is nothing to eat despite their assurances. So I fed up and hungry, but that does not seem to worry anyone here, they could not go the extra mile to make me something to eat. Other annoyances... the wifi password is on the back of the key - makes sense.. but when you take the key out of the wall the light goes off and in a dark room (walls all painted dark brown) you cannot see the password. There are not enough working plug sockets to charge a phone and a computer. I really would not recommend this place, the service just is not good enough. "

Rue De La Molignée, 1, Anhee, Namur, Belgium
"I have travelled each year to this hotel en route to annual retreats in France, and the hotel staff, restaurants, hotel facilitaire services have provided not on;y annually a friendly atmosphere, but a 'homey' one! My visits have been unforgettable. There is an indoor swimming pool with a view of the wonderful backyard park as well as a sauna. My highest praise for the extraordinary care taken by all employed in this hotel, as well as the observable building renovations and improvements each year in this wonderful historic watermill site and paradisical location along the Meuse/Mass river in de Ardennes."
"We chose this hotel for base to visit cites at Marne. Nice located hotel with helpful staff. Hotels free parking is occupied by guest from restaurant nearby but is quite big then no problem with free place. Good restaurant nearby hotel :). Room was big and clean, bathroom was generally clean too but shower curtain has ugly stains i think they not check shower curtains when cleaning rooms. Internet connection worked fine. Sauna and pool was very nice."
"Road trip continues & I stayed here overnight. Had drive round town & very picturesque. Hotel lovely I thought (wish I’d brought my trunks) Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. No hassle & pleasant staff. Still under some refurbishment I believe but all fine to me. Was up really early for breakfast & found breakfast was all under way. Good continental selection as usual. Breakfast area really cool. Meals at night were across road. "

Chaussée de Liège 1178, Namur, Belgium
"Clean beds, older hotel, fair price. The soap in the bad was empty. No airco so it’s hot in summerdays. A minibar available in the room. Small TV. Stairs and Floor from wood, so you hear others walking. Near the road but not much noice when window is closed."
"The hotel is a dissapointment considering the name and the ranking. The rooms are very noisy (you can hear others talk in their room) the floors are cracking so you hear your neighbours walk. The staff is friendly but the manager is a crook: my husband already paid at the checking in, he left early to bike, then I checked out later with my child but they wouldn't let me unless I would pay (again). I can prove we've paid twice, I asked the manager several times to pay back, but he won't. Horrible hotel with a pitty and lousy manager."

Basse 31, Crupet, Namur, Belgium
"My husband and I enjoyed three wonderful evenings in this charming hotel. It's filed with history and beautifully restored. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. It's located in the picturesque village of Crupet. We enjoyed a walk around the village each morning. Stone cottages with lush gardens line the streets. Perhaps my favorite part of the stay was the owner, Patrick. While his English was limited, he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He greeted us each morning for breakfast. a real treat with lots of locally sources items. He also showed us a map of interesting sites to visit. We went to a few and found his recommendations spot on. There was much to do in the surrounding area. We enjoyed a truly special stay."
"Le moulin des Ramiers in Crupet (Belgian Ardennen) is a beautiful and quiet accommodation. The rooms are clean and we had a large bathroom with a bath. The breakfast was more than delicious with fresh local goods and it was very cheap. The owner recommended us a number of daytrips which were all very interesting. The surroundings are beautiful. We were allowed to bring our little dog to the hotel. All in all: very good value for money! For sure we will come back at this place and we can recommend this hotel to everyone. M.& L. from the Netherlands"
"We stayed 2 nights. This is a small renovated and (mostly) charming hotel. The breakfast is local and comprises local produce. It is very enjoyable. We stayed in a first floor room and all the windows were barred. Mt advice would be to ask for a second floor room where you will have a far better view and not feel so claustrophobic. The proprietor is friendly and able to give local advice on where to eat. The hotel does not serve evening food and does not have a bar. This is not a big issue as the village of Crupet is a 10 minute walk away with restaurants."

Avenue Félicien Rops, 8, Namur, Belgium
"Clean, comfortable, and very friendly reception staff. Each bed has its own plug and mini light, and each room has its own shower cubicle. The setting is also quaint and lovely as it is situated by the river, so you always have a great view while looking out the window. They have a good selection of beers, nice music in the afternoon and night and a great breakfast in the morning. There is really nothing to complain about except maybe for its proximity to the city center, as it takes quite a walk to get there...but hey...we all could use some exercise. If you end up in Namur, stay at this place and visit Piano bar too."
"I stayed there with 8 friends for one night. It's well located for the citadelle but not downtown which make it quiet at night. Shower and water basin in the 4 beds room, toilette out in the corridor. Everything super clean ! Beds were confi. We used the outside BBQ and party there most of the night. But we had to be more quiet for the other (which we all understood). Staff were amazing, breakfast was ok and there is a baby foot, table tennis, good WiFi and a shelter for bikes. Definitely a good place ! "
