"I had a single bedroom with the city view. The room is small but it's cozy and has all that is needed. The room and the hotel are very clean and breakfast has a good selection and quality. I loved the fact that everyone can help themselves to tea, water, gummy bears, chocolate and fruit in the hallway. I thought it was super. The only thing that was less good is that the floor is old, so when you step on some wooden boards you can hear the wood crackling - but that's a small price to pay for maintaining this amazing old building that was modernized with full respect to the old features. And above all... everyone was super nice and welcoming"
"I appreciated the clean rooms, the Occitane products, the sweets in the cordior, the interior stairs, the beautiful room views, the fireplace.... ANYHOW...after staying 2 weeks at this hotel I can tell that the hotel is quite old with a small, old and smelly lift, the doors are not automatic but they have a key with a ridiculous huge pendant. Service is poor especially at the reception where they do not greet you even or tell you the details you need to know- very amateurish scared kids taking care of it. Next to the reception is the kitchen/ wash dishes or similar, which makes the entrance quite smelly. Also at breakfast whatever I asked for the answer was NO... Wodden floor is old and sounds creepy. Except for the views that are incredible, the hotel is average- not recommended for business either. I also had a no view room and my experience was so different, in a negative way."
"I chose the single room with a balcony on the river Rhine, and although it is a bit tight it still is very comfortable, the bed is large and the bathroom tiles and equipment are perfect except the basin for a tall man like me (it is a bit small and placed at a low height, so whenever I splashed my head with water a little pool formed around my feet on the floor). The balcony is sublime, with wooden planks and a view of the river and the bridge and the city which is worth every penny."
