The room is small, the floor is tiled, not wooden. Such an expensive hotel has no wooden floor and is not graded. The windows are low quality and not soundproofed. Noisy roads can be heard at night. The most terrible thing is that they didn't tell the guests that this hotel was a psychiatric hospital before. The inside was really scary. It felt like the ghosts who died in the psychiatric hospital were still there. Do not really recommend it to Chinese tourists.

Wow. Great dinner with my love 😍 The menu is absolutely great by chef Mena Strum. Amazing italien food that you cant find in a regular restaurant over Israel - Home style .You have to try the dessert like tiramisu with red fruits 👌🏼 ask to see the wine Cellar.

This is not the first time that I have been in Israel, and this time I decided to stay at the Intercontinental. This is one of the best hotels in which I managed to stay in this country. Spacious hotel , clean rooms , pleasant smell everywhere , excellent temperature inside ,swimming pool and most importantly SERVICE ! Everyone was extremely attentive, polite and helpful. I also had access to two lounges (as they call them) on the 3rd and 24th floors. The service provided by their team is comparable to that of the top hotels in Switzerland and France. I would also like to note the excellent work of the waiters there. Oleg was always happy to see us and could always keep up the conversation, just like Sergey, who worked on the 3rd floor, where we went to have coffee and relax, he is one of the few employees who is fluent in French, and provides top-level service and this huge advantage! I also wanted to notice the breakfast and the location of the hotel. It is located near the old city of Jaffa and near the central market. It was very convenient and comfortable for us to stay there, and we will definitely come back to you! Thank you very much Inter Hotel for everything!

Very nice hotel. Check in was very helpful and spoke English (unsure if they have people who speak other languages as well other than Hebrew and English). Very close to the beach though it’s not right across from where you can swim. The room I was in did not have USB outlet that I saw so you would need a plug converter (I’ll put a pic of the one that worked for me). Not sure if the hotel offers some but they may so you could ask before coming. I felt very safe here by myself and enjoyed the location a lot too. It also has a parking garage for guests which is a rarity for some hotels in the area and is very convenient if you do have a car.

The best hotel I have stayed in Tel Aviv. Breakfast was delicious and room had a spectacular view. Our room was spotless. Henry at reception was very welcoming and all the staff were very friendly. Would be my first choice in future Tel Aviv stay.

A fantastic break at the Carlton, fantastic staff as you'd expect from a 5 star hotel but these guys and gals went above and beyond, from the reception personnel and beyond the attention to service was remarkable, amazing location, and probably the best bed and pillows I've ever used.

OK, the room is a bit small. American standard socket, you need to bring your own adapter, or find the front desk

Great location at the 'entrance' to Jaffa with views of the sea, broad walk up the coastline with all the modern high rise of Tel Aviv. Old city behind has lots of charm, restaurants etc. One morning we comfortably walked along the seafront right up past the Hilton and back as well as all around the port area / centre of Jaffa. Hotel is beautifully and tastefully restored / built, it is charming and stylish. We felt welcomed on check-in (I think it was Dean) and although arrived early, our room was ready. We had booked a basic room but were very fortunate to get upgraded 2 levels to an Executive Room on the 4th floor (with access to Lounge). We overlooked the roundabout, views of sea and coastline, totally lovely. Room is beautifully designed, very comfortable, good size, fabulous large bathroom with separate rain shower. We were here 2 nights only which included Holocaust Memorial Day so all restaurants/leisure closed from 6pm in the whole of Israel. Luckily hotel catering remains open. One would have thought that as a guest of the hotel, they should make sure that there is space in their restaurant and only keep it for in-house guests. It was not the case. No space in restaurant but managed to eat in the bar which serves a limited 'milk' menu including sushi. It was still pleasant, we ordered a pizza to share which was decent. The lovely Sophie made the experience more pleasant and kindly remembered we wanted some milk to take back to our room for our Nespresso in the morning! A note on the 'Mediterranee', the Lounge incase you need to decide whether to book a room with access. It is only open 12:30-6:30 so great if you usually have lunch and beverages. The food is top notch. A fabulous, delicious and well presented array of mainly mezze dishes including various cold fish, some hot dishes (pasta and vegetables) as well as fruit and some sweet things. Wine, tea/coffee, some spirits but couldn't see any mixes apart from fruit juices. Lovely deck outside to sit and relax. Only negatives - staff can be a bit aloof and not very attentive or proactive, especially up on the pool area for service and cleaning up. - bed linen felt cheap (though towels nice), not high cotton count like one gets at most 5* properties I have been to Tel Aviv a couple of times before for business and stayed in one of the modern luxury high rise. If I came back, this is the only hotel I would stay in.

Enjoyed my stay at the Setai. The hotel room was well sized, clean and the pool area, whilst small, was more than adequate to lounge in the sun whilst working. Restaurant food was superb and hotel has a very boutique feel to it. Customer service was also very good and boutique nature of the hotel added to the experience. Located perfectly at the cusp of Jaffa and Neve Tzedek so plenty to see and do. Would definitely come back!

Breakfast is very average ... I care more about breakfast, so it feels lowered overall! The room is very convenient to see the sea, very close to a famous market, there is a restaurant near the intersection is delicious! The hotel's general hygiene, it is recommended to bring your own boiler, sleeping bag, toiletries, towels, bring all! If I have a choice, I still recommend staying in a luxury boutique hotel in the ancient city

The hotel was very good. The rooms were clean, the staff reasonably friendly and the facilities very good. The rooms are slightly odd in terms of lack of storage space and no ironing ability. But clean otherwise. The restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast and location was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I have recently had 2 short stays at both the Dan Tel Aviv and Dan Eilat hotels. These are both top of the range prestige hotels of the Dan group. I was amazed to find such a difference between these two supposedly 5 star hotels. Firstly I should point out that the cost of one night in the Dan Tel Aviv for bed and breakfast is only slightly less than 2 nights bed and breakfast plus buffet dinner and return flights by Arkia at the Dan Eilat. I think this confirms what many previous reviewers have suggested that the Dan Tel Aviv is priced too high. While on the subject of cost, it might be worthwhile noting that in the Dan Tel Aviv if you by mistake use a plastic bottle of water they charge an exorbitant price whereas the glass bottles of water are free; at the Dan Eilat the plastic bottles are free. The Dan Tel Aviv no longer provides free newspapers; the Dan Eilat does. I was very surprised that the Dan Tel Aviv has no blankets or duvets in the room. We had to request two; they only delivered one and we had to request a second one. Quality five star hotels normally have something in the rooms during the cold weather. The Dan Eilat is very well staffed compared to the Dan Tel Aviv. For instance, there were 4-5 clerks at reception at the Dan Eilat but only one at Dan Tel Aviv. Some would say that comparisons are odious but I would suggest that the comparisons I have outlined of these 2 suposedly first class hotels, the Dan Eilat is far superior to the Dan Tel Aviv.Maybe the manager of the Dan Tel Aviv should visit the Dan Eilat to see how to manage a prestige hotel efficiently. The ''Best of the best” rating for the Dan Eilat is fully warranted whereas the Dan Tel Aviv is a long way off achieving this honoured status. Years ago the Dan Tel Aviv used to offer a daily first class business lunch. They stopped offering this after a 50% increase in price killed the demand. They also used to offer a splendid Saturday lunch which they have also stopped. I sincerely hope that my review may encourage the management to follow the example of their sister hotel and improve the service and value that they offer their customers.

I think I am spoiled forever from the treatment and people at the Dan Hotel Tel Aviv! From check-in to the beautiful room, the indulgent bath supplies and luxurious towels, the pools (indoor and outdoor) and the view! Magnificent! And the Israel breakfast kept me going back for seconds and thirds - I will not need to eat again until after the weekend! All in all, I hope I will return here soon.
