First time in Rovaniemi and it did not disappoint! Staying at the Arctic Treehouse was fabulous! The minimalistic Scandinavian design was modern, yet quite cosy. Our room even included a 'nest bed' perfect for couples with a young child ( 5 years and over) It had a standard mini bar, safe, kettle with coffee/tea,lots of cupboard space to store your suitcase(s) and lots of hangers which we loved and appreciated. The shower had 2 shower heads, one of which was a rain shower head It was a short walk to the main reception area and restaurant. Very private Breakfast is included with each booking which is a hot and cold buffet with a variety of delicious food to choose from( my fave was the pretzel bun!). One of the best hotel breakfasts we've had! Restaurant Rakas is also amazing, and their reindeer fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Their elk stew ( for 2 people) was divine! Shout out to staff Sabina for providing us such wonderful service! The hotel also offers valet pick up to and from the room to main reception/ restaurant Arctic Hotel has an open glass facade designed to view Aurora Borealis on the days she wishes to show herself. Unfortunately, this was not possible on the days we stayed The hotel is about 10 mins drive to the main town ( approx €25- €29 per trip) and also the airport via taxi The downside would have to be the very soft pillows ( we prefer a firmer type) and the housekeeping- there was a couple of small 'blobs' left on the bathroom sink which looked like bloodied snot when we first checked in. I reported this to reception and was told that this would be addressed asap. The next time we had the room cleaned, one of our empty bottles was left behind, and a dirty used glass was left on the counter, used broken soap left in the shower as well The hotel prides itself on being eco friendly, but don't understand why they provide single use toiletry items Despite this, would not hesitate to return given another opportunity as the hotel itself was great

There are several glass houses in Rovaniemi, which are relatively new and have relatively reasonable facilities. The glass part faces the setting sun and the scenery is beautiful. There is a small kitchen, a Finnish sauna and a dining table and chairs for two people. Two small beds about 70 cm wide can be gently pulled out under the 1.5-meter bed. There are also quilts and enough pillows. But you can't spell it by yourself. You must add money to live with one more child, so the number of people who book a room must be the same as the number of people who check in. The air-conditioning is very cold, but it is in the kitchen and dining table of the wooden house, and the temperature in the glass bedroom cannot be fully adjusted during the day. The glass house will be sultry at noon in the morning of July (depending on the temperature, 27 degrees during the day and 19 degrees at night). In summer, you need to go out. After 4:30 in the afternoon, it will be very comfortable until 7 or 8 in the next morning. This is a common shortcoming of glass houses, and the price in summer will be more attractive. We booked it for more than 700 a day. The scenery outside is worth a daze. Many RVs set up camp in the back, indicating that it is also a well-known and easy-to-travel location in the local area. You can swim, but the hot water is very icy, with a reddish color. Many Finns practice diving here. Three or four kilometers away from the chain of K supermarkets. Hotels in the outskirts of Lapland basically have convenient and free parking. The front desk closes at 10 o'clock in the summer. The Lapland suburbs seem to be like this.

The hotel is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi. You can write to the hotel to arrange Taxi. You can make an appointment with the hotel front desk to shuttle to the Zoo, and the round trip is free.
A well-equipped glass house with its own sauna. The glass can be heated, and you can see the sky very clearly while lying in bed, and you can really experience watching the aurora in the glass house
The only disadvantage is that you need to drag your luggage to the glass house by yourself. It would be better if you can have someone or a car to check your luggage

The first time I stayed at this hotel, I feel very good. It is very close to the bus station to Santa Claus Village and the airport (opposite the hotel entrance). The hotel has a dedicated luggage storage room, which is convenient for leaving the store in advance. Recommended!

Design a Nordic-style, comfortable and thoughtful hotel. The waiter at the front desk is polite and attentive to help inquire about a lot of useful travel information. The next day, I rushed to prepare a packed breakfast

The room offered sufficient space, the bathroom was clean and looked new. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a large variety of food and drinks. The sauna is also very recommandable. The location is central. There is a shopping mall just across the street, local and long distance bus stops are nearby. Personnel was very friendly and supportive.

Se had one overnight visit in the hotel. Nothing to complain. Hotel locates on the middle of the city. For a pet there is a small place outside the hotel close to parking area and the better places are at the riverside. Breakfast and service with good quality.

Amazing place, would go back anytime. The accommodation was lovely and warm and only a short walk from the reception, park and restaurant. They were set up with drying facilities and saunas. The staff in the restaurant were great, it was buffet breakfast and for dinner it was soup to start, a choice of 3 mains and then a dessert, great after a day in the cold. The reception staff and the guides were superb. We went on 3 trips whilst we were there - the husky rides and the nighttime snowmobile to the Lappish hut we ‘full on’. The night time Finnish horse sleigh was more gentle but the nighttime sky filled with stars you could almost touch and the quiet of the forest at night was brilliant. We went into the wildlife park a few times and saw different animals on each occasion. A fabulous holiday was topped off with a night in the igloo, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights and the feeling of standing outside in the cold whilst the lights put on a show above was awesome. This was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had.

This place is amazing. We went for the arctic wildlife and stayed at this hotel. You only need thermal layers as on arrival you are fully kitted out in thermal suit, boots, gloves. They also have snoods and will change the boots or whatever if they get wet. All the rooms are semi detached wooden houses/cabins. The rooms are spotless, there is a drying room for wet clothes/sauna/fully equipped kitchen etc. the reception staff were great. There is a roasting pit you can use to warm up or for marshmallows. There is a shop onsite to buy souvenirs and sweets etc We walked to the supermarket which was about 30 mins (we used a sledge to carry the shopping). The zoo itself was nice, it was mid winter so obviously a lot of animals were hibernating. The night zoo tour was great however as you learn a lot. This place is perfect for families and / or couples. An amazing trip.

We booked on booking.com, but when we arrived to check in we were told our room had been double booked and we were being downgraded. We had originally booked the room with private sauna, so were very disappointed that we did not have this facility, particularly as the communal sauna is only open for around 3 hours per day and we had an activity booked the same time so could not use it at all. The location is stunning and we had fun walking the various trails from the hotel. We had two activities booked which both collected from the hotel, but otherwise we had to get taxis to and from the town centre as there is no public transport to the hotel. Taxis cost around €20 each way, and reception can book them for you. Room was nice, but the light switches were quite difficult to use. We were also a bit cold and could not see a way to up the temperature. The bath was lovely, and came with bubble bath, robes and slippers which we made use of. Our view was of a car park, so that was not great. Breakfast was amazing, lovely views and they even had honey on the comb. You have to book the restaurant in advance, or make alternative plans (but keep in mind there are not really any other options around the hotel). Staff were friendly.

The hotel is located on the mountain east of the city. The environment is very quiet. It overlooks the Kemi River. The hotel is well decorated and feels very petty. The hotel has a rooftop, which is suitable for driving the aurora. There is a ski resort next to it. Convenient. If you rent ski equipment, you still need to go down to the mountain. The hotel’s breakfast is exquisite. I also had reindeer liver sauce. The hotel’s restaurant requires advance reservations and the dishes are very good. The disadvantage of the hotel is that the location is relatively remote, it is not convenient if it is not for self-driving. Extra bed and breakfast for children will be charged 35 Euros. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes.
