"We were told that smoking was not allowed in the rooms, however, our room smelled like cigarette smoke upon arrival. Additionally, this may not be known by the hotel, but we booked through Hotels.com and had filtered for hotels offering free parking, and the Jupiter came up so we did not realize there was a $15 fee for parking. Related, the trek between the parking garage and the hotel was a bit of a pain (on separate blocks), and there was no clear way to enter the garage when not in your car, so we would key in and walk down the car ramp, which seemed a bit unsafe. Another marketed bonus in our Hotels.com reservation was 2 free drinks upon arrival at the Jupiter, which I assume was not offered due to the bar being closed. Just another hiccup that might be good to clear up for future guests. Overall we liked the hotel space and staff, but we were bummed with the surprises like that smokey smelling room, parking fee (likely just a hotels.com mixup), bar closure, and parking garage difficulties and fees. "
"We rarely get away but it was our 20th anniversary and we decided to take a spontaneous few days out. We stayed at the original Jupiter several years ago and enjoyed it so much that it was a no brainer to try NEXT. Our top floor room was perfect offering a great view of the crows coming home to roost and the west side of the city. Silly details like being able to turn the shower on without getting wet and Roxy playing the new Bob Dylan album whilst we ate our takeout sushi made a socially isolated anniversary very special."
"The hotel was very modern, clean, up-to-date, and the staff was absolutely wonderful! The parking was interesting and not as close but they had a secure garage that we were able to use. The room was perfect and cozy and the service when we needed help was fast and efficient! Highly recommend! "
