"So I work with Toyota Nascar and we can stay anywhere we want to and we choose this hotel it is my go to place when I come to Dover twice a year because of Nascar I bring in the Monster Energy golf carts to every Nascar race so after I unload at the track and drop my trailer I look forward to the deliteful and very courteous staff here because after a long day at the track They make your day pleasant with the uplifting and outgoing personalities that everyone here has. It's always a breath of fresh air when checking in without any issues. Also Angela will make you feel like royalty by the courtesy and warm happy smile on her face when you check in, So if you are looking for a nice hotel where you dont have to worry about forgetting your shampoo,conditioner and bodywash because they still have all three mounted on the back of the shower for your convenience and then once you take a nice hot shower you are literally less than a mile away from anything you can imagine to eat at. So if you are here for pleasure or business I would recommend this hotel over anything else in the area."
"We enjoyed our stay, clean & comfy mini-suite w/ 2 Q beds, a small couch/coffee table plus table & 2 chairs area in addition to the bedroom part. Good shower, nice deep bathroom sink & big counter. Two dressers, plenty of room. Beds fine too. Kitchenette had lots of cupboard space, a mini-fridge, a coffeemaker & a microwave oven. My only problem was the lighting in the room was too dim - one bedside lamp between the beds, one desk lamp, one standing lamp, all with low brightness. No lamp at all over the table/chairs, which was in darkness at night. I bought a portable light at CVS so I could read in bed! They need brighter bulbs &/or more lighting in that room. Otherwise, clean, quiet, & comfortable. The usual Holiday Inn Express array of hot/cold breakfast items on rotation, fine by me & well-stocked. We enjoyed the outdoor pool & use of fitness room."
"On Friday Oct 25 2019 I checked in at 630 pm I received my key for my non smoking room (502) but this room was either a previous smoking or a prior guest smoke in it. Went to the front desk to report the smell, at that time I told Nick about the situation. He reduce the rate because I said I will try and stay in the room. After 2 hours I went to see Nick about a room change, the smell was bad. Nick change the room to 216 and I could smell the freshness of this room. I believe Nick controlled this situation very professionally. Nick is a credit to this Holiday inn express and to Holiday corp. If I am in Dover again I will stay here because of how Nick treated me.
