"We visited Can Faustino for one night to join some friends who where staying there. The first thing to note is that if you are driving, there is no car park and you will need to park on the pavement outside the hotel to unload your luggage, and then park your car elsewhere. We unfortunately followed the sat nav and ended up in the narrow lanes ..thankfully we had a smart car! The gardens and public areas are lovely, and the lunch that we had in the garden restaurant was superb. Our room was overlooking the garden and had views over the sea to Majorca. It was perfectly adequate with a large comfortable bed, and well equipped bathroom with both bath and walking shower. The only complaint would have been that there are no bedside tables, so no where to put your book or a glass of water. We had a lovely massage in the spa, which was really well equipped and enjoyed an afternoon sitting by the pool, although in summer I should imagine that this area would be crowded. Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of buffet items and a menu of items to be cooked to order. The service was a bit sporadic. On leaving, the only issue is that you have to go and find your car to return to the hotel to get your luggage."
"We stayed 3 nights at Can Faustino as the second part of our week on the island. It is a beautiful modern, yet characterful, boutique hotel and we loved our spacious room in the annex next to the main building. The service was excellent throughout (except sometimes rather unattentive during the busy breakfast period) and we enjoyed a meal and drinks in the small bar/restaurant one evening.  The pool area is small but a nice place to sit and read or enjoy a drink. The weather was pleasant during our stay but it was still early in the season so we weren't expecting to be bathing! The treatments we had in the tiny spa were wonderful and the therapist gets a special mention for going above and beyond to remedy a misunderstanding we had with one of our bookings, which was very much appreciated.  We liked the location of the hotel (once we managed to find it!) - in easy walking distance to the main sights and plenty of nice restaurants. It wasn't a problem for us that parking was off-site although this may be tricky if the town is very busy. We would consider returning one day. "
"My brother and I stayed here for a couple of nights during our trip. I cannot emphasize how amazing this place is. The room, the grounds, the location the staff, everything. Be sure to make a trip to their country club - one of the most memorable days of our entire holiday. Special shoutout to Nacho who helped make our stay incredible - from designing a hike for us to go on, to making room for us to go to the country club. We're sad we didn't get to say goodbye!"

"We had a week here and for the money we paid it was all we could have expected. Not all of the staff speak English, but then i don't speak Spanish so not a problem. As a vegetarian i sometimes found there was not any hot food options, however i never went hungry as there were always plenty of fresh salad, cheeses ect. Breakfasts were good with eggs and pancakes cooked to order. The cleaning staff were superb and nothing was a problem you just need to ask, rather than moan about it on here when you get home. Just a couple of things you need to be aware of if planning a holiday here. Accommodation is in three storey blocks throughout the complex there are no lifts, so if youre on the first or second floors you will have to carry suitcases up the stairs. Secondly the rooms have been refurbished with walk in showers these can become very slippery just be careful. And finally the evening entertainment is dire, the best you can expect is miming to ABBA backing tracks. We always went out after our evening meal. Apart from those few things it did not spoil our holiday and we will definitely be going back."
"Sol Falco is great! It's fantastic to have 7 pools to choose from, including a relaxation pool as well as the main pools where there's lots going on. The food is excellent and there's so much choice. There's a really extensive selection of drinks, too. Staff are really friendly and there are lots of activities guests can choose to take part in, but we didn't find the Animations team were too pushy. The evening entertainment is great and there's a good range of shows, from singing and tribute acts, to acrobatics, magicians and shows. We've been twice so far and wouldn't hesitate to book to visit again!"
"this hotel offers great facilities, the allinculsive food was good choice and always hot.the drink was ok. the quiet pools were lovely to lay around. if you like entertainment this hotel are very good at putting on shows in the evenings."

Avenida Conquerridor 82 82, Ciutadella, Balearic Islands, Spain

"I was there on February 17. There are only good things about this hotel, hard to find something to complain about. I will try keep my review simple and structured. 1. Location: steps from the old town and cathedral, restaurants, markets and all kind of stores. Paid parking right in front of the hotel, free after 7 pm. 2. Hotel & appearance: small but trendy, very modern. Not many rooms but all are very well designed and maintained. 3. Inside, clean everywhere, very well organized and balanced. I booked an upgrade with balcony and I got this fantastic terrace only for my use, see pictures. 4. Rooms, small but righteous, very balanced, clean with everything you need. Comfortable beds, good pillows 5. Bathroom, modern, modern plumbing and electrical fixtures, loved the extra-large towels, good shower. 6. Breakfast is “trendy” too, minimum choices but everything is fresh and tasty. They don’t cook, hotel has no kitchen, everything is brought, including bread, in the las minute from outside. 7. Staff is top notch, knowledgeable and helpful. You will get all info in a timely manner, there is no reception, you will call in and get all the directions and your keys. Smooth checking and check out. 8. If you are single or a couple with no desire for large places this is heaven for you. Ask for the room with the terrace if you stay longer, an upgrade well worth the money! See pictures attached."
"I had never been to Ciutadella before when I booked this hotel, so I relied heavily on the TA reviews. The reviews turned out to be accurate as I really enjoyed this small hotel. The man who runs the place is warm and accomodating. Our room was on a top floor and it had a decent sized patio, which we enjoyed. The room was very clean and was not huge, but certainly not small. I liked that there was a fridge in the room and the bath products smell divine. Each time we walked downstairs, there was great music playing (usually jazz, thank you!) We never had time for the food they put out in the morning, but it all looked really yummy. This hotel is a fantastic location for walking around Ciutadella. We rented a car and were able to park it about 3 blocks away (for free). This town felt very safe and we did a ton of walking."
"Everything about this hotel is perfect. Stepping through the front door it feels you are the first person to have come here - immaculately clean and pristine. Relaxed but totally careful attention from the owners giving us flexible entry time and clear instructions. We had a ground floor garden room, spacious, traditional, private, delightful . Breakfast was a wonderful selection of fresh local produce, the girl serving (sorry dont know, her name) was so pleasant and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring Ciudadela centre, going out at night, returning for an afternoon siesta. I can not praise this place enough, you will definately not be disappointed if you book here. We enjoyed a very special wekend away."

"We booked Can Sastre for a treat and a quiet night away. We were not disappointed. The building is tasteful with stunning decor. Our room was equally delightful. There are so many thoughtful touches such as a little box of homemade chocolates, hand made notepad and pencil plus Floris soap and shower gel. The staff are attentive and the breakfast which is served in the coved ceiling basement was fresh and delicious. This little gem is only a walk to all the shops, bars and main Ciutadella attractions. We have already re-booked. Thank you for a lovely visit."
"The place is an oasis of calm and impeccable taste in crowdy Menorca, even in peak season. The personnel is competent, helpful and kind.Few,very spacious, high ceilinged rooms, with hand made tiles and always fresh linen bed sheets. Breakfast is of high quality. A theory of elegant common areas welcomes you as you pass over the reception, itself carved out of a belle époque pâtisserie. One of the best city boutique hotels I have ever been."
"Wonderful Boutique hotel in the heart of Ciutadella. Hotel is very clean and rooms are lovely. Staff is very attentive and they have a wonderful breakfast. We had an issue with the air con one night but he staff went above and beyond to fix the problem as quickly as they could. Would highly recommend staying here."

Camí de Sant Patrici, s/n, Area Metropolitana de Ciutadella, Balearic Islands, Spain

"Whilst looking for a boutique style property we came across the Ca Na Xini. Located in the countryside, 35 minutes easy drive from the airport, this pretty hotel was an ideal location from which to explore this beautiful island. The bedroom was bright and airy, with a comfortable king bed that was complimented with a spacious bathroom. Calder Room was one of 4 rooms located on the top floor had a velux window (therefore without a direct view out over the grounds, which was not a problem, however if you would like to look out of a window check the hotel description). The 4 rooms on the first floor had views over the beautifully manicured gardens and surrounding countryside. Approximately 10 minutes from Cala Galdana, 20 minutes to Cuitadella and 25 mins to Fornells we found this lovely property to be a great choice for us. The wonderfully relaxed dining experiences all take place el fresco. Breakfast consists, fresh fruit, yoghurts, a selection of meats and cheeses along with fresh breads and pastries. I found the pool area extremely quiet and relaxing, with large umbrellas and a shaded area with tables and chairs where lunch could be eaten. Anna the lovely waitress in the restaurant, whom we saw in the evenings whilst having a drink, was delightful, always smiling, was clearly enthusiastic and very attentive to the diners. In fact we found all of the staff to be excellent. The property offers wine and cheese tasting tours with the produce being made on site sold in the well presented farm shop. The perfect escape for adults, we would most definitely recommend this lovely hotel and intent returning to experience the tranquility."
"I booked this property because my husband and I wanted to stay somewhere quiet and low key for our anniversary. For once, we were not disappointed! This is a small property, meant for couples who want to enjoy some reading time around the pool, relaxing afternoons sampling the property’s wine and cheese, and lovely, personalized service. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and I just can’t say enough good things about their attentiveness. Breakfast was fantastic every day, check in was easy, the room was spotless, and the pool area was gorgeous. I almost didn’t book this place because it didn’t look like there were mini fridges in the rooms (and we really like a cold beverage when we come back from a day at the beach). However I didn’t need to worry- there are fridges in the rooms, stocked with wonderful local products. I was able to try Innat gin, which I’d been looking forward to. The only thing missing in the room that we might have liked were robes. There were slippers, but not robes. This would have been useful for relaxing on our private terrace. The hotel is well situated on the island- we went all over and nothing was more than a 30 minute drive. It might have been nice to have a little snack bar set up somewhere, but we made do with the gas station up the road. All in all, this was an ideal vacation, and one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re looking to get away from it all and curl up with a good book while sipping some wine or a gin and tonic, look no further."
"The place is a slice of heaven. The rooms are beautiful, perfect size and the beds are so comfortable. The building is amazing: set in a rich, carefully kept garden, with a fantastic swimmingpool surrounded by nature. The restaurant serves delicious food, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner sitting outside, overlooking the vineyards. The breakfast buffet is great and varied, with a wide selection of their own cheeses which are delicious and local charcuterie and pastries. In addition to the restaurant, it also counts with a cheesery and a celler that you can visit, purchase and taste their wines and cheeses. The location is ideal, nice and central to explore the island. You can reach everything (restaurants, beaches, villages, and so on) in maximum 20 minutes. The staff is extremly friendly and helpfull. Always willing to help you and advise on local spots to visit and enjoy. I higly recommend this place to anyone seeking to have a relaxed and peaceful stay. Great place for couples."

Urbanización Santa Galdana, Cala Galdana, Balearic Islands, Spain

"We booked this very last minute (3 days before arriving) via the Melia website and bagged quite a bargain, securing one of the rooms in The Level. I think we got such a good deal due to it being end of season and the hotel shortly closing for winter. Our welcome was friendly and the porter checked our names on our luggage and then took us to the separate reception area for The Level. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The room we had on the 9th floor was lovely, and we were welcomed to the room with a bottle of cava and chocolates which was very nice. The best thing about the room was the stunning view of the bay (photo attached). It’s just breathtaking . The next best thing was the balcony, which in this room was more of a terrace. It was huge, with two sun loungers, a parasol, two chairs and a big circular cushioned chair. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern with a good rain shower and nice products. The water in the toilet seemed to be constantly running which I found a bit distracting when in the bedroom, but couldn’t hear when the door was closed. The room was well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle and drinks facilities but we didn’t use any of them. The aircon didn’t seem to be very effective. We had it on a low temperature as the room often felt a bit stuffy, but it never seemed to really cool down. Breakfast at The Level provides a decent choice. There’s a self-service area for cereals, breads, pastries, fruits, cheeses and yoghurts, and then a table service for cooked to order items such as omelettes, pancakes and waffles. On our first morning this all seemed a bit confused. Nobody really greeted us as we arrived and the staff seemed to be fawning over a large group of people leaving us to figure everything out ourselves. On day two and beyond this changed and the breakfast staff were very attentive. The infinity pool is lovely and tranquil and provides alternative views of the stunning bay. We didn’t go to the main pool area much, only to see what it was like. Cocktail hour at 5pm in The Level bar is a nice and unexpected touch with a great selection of alcoholic drinks on offer, including wines, beers and spirits. I was surprised how it was self service on everything, meaning some guests took very large measures of spirits! But if the hotel don’t mind then it’s nothing to do with me. The snacks on offer were also good, fresh and not the typical bar snacks of nuts and crisps - it was prepared by the chef and things like croquettes, cheese, smoked salmon, and sweet things like brownies and cakes. Lunch at Cape Nao was very good - the club sandwich is delicious. And we had dinner one night at the restaurant in The Level and that was good too. We chose to do bed and breakfast only so we could sample the choice of restaurants in Cala Galdana but now regret that. The local restaurants weren’t very good and all seemed to offer the same things (and mostly not great qu"
"My husband and I can only thank everyone working at the melia hotel for making our holiday yet again special. We love coming here. The hotel is right by the beach and the views are incredible. The food is excellent and the staff are so professional and always make us so welcome. The level is well worth paying extra for. It has its own swimming pool and you can help yourself to non alcoholic drinks through the day using its private lounge. Between 5.30pm and 6.30pm alcoholic drinks or non alcoholic drinks and appetisers are set out in the small lounge for level guests to help themselves and it’s a lovely way of meeting people. I cannot speak more highly of this friendly hotel where staff work very professionally to make sure guests have a lovely holiday. "
"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first week in September. Room was beautiful with a spectacular sea view. Breakfasts were amazing and we were literally on the most beautiful beach on the island (although busy at times). Pool and terraces had v comfortable loungers and we were given new beach towels every day The real star of the show was the staff. Magnificent from the manager to the maids with a special mention for Isaac Marco and Pablo on breakfast. One problem. Spanish guests were unfriendly and at times very rude which we know is NOT the norm for Menorca. Definitely worth a visit, in spite of a few rich miserable Spaniards. "

Carrer de Sant Cristòfol 10, Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain
"I stayed here on my first trip to Minorca and was so happy I did! The staff were so friendly and helpful, providing lots of recommendations both for Ciutadella and the island generally. As this is an ancient city on an island there is car parking available in a nearby square which is easy to get to and inexpensive. The rooms are beautifully appointed with high quality amenities and toiletries, and the breakfast was intimate and delicious. The building has a wonderful little rooftop tower/terrace which is great for having a glass of wine and watching the sunset while the cathedral bells are ringing :) I also really loved the steamroom and pool (and slide - but watch out, it is really fast!). I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stay here on my next trip to paradise."
"Honestly, this is the second time I have stayed here and absolutely love this hidden gem. Catalina and her staff can not do enough to help, make you feel welcome, help plan your trip, give you advice - absolutely perfection. The rooms are lovely and each super unique. The pool and hammam are perfect after a day in the sun. The breakfast is super lovely and the perfect start to your day. Can’t wait enough good things about it!"
"We booked this trip late as our daughter was meeting friends in Menorca. We knew we were spending more than normal, eg €400 /night. What we didn’t realize was the fact we would get half the service! Every time we asked for any service we were told that it was difficult because of the festivities! San Juan festival has been going on for years and this pumped up b&b was totally unprepared. I have never stayed at such an amateurish place in my life and will never do the same again,"

"The location is fantastic, smack in the centre of the old town. You do need to walk a few minutes to reach it because the streets are too narrow for cars. The building itself is charming and very beautiful. The rooms are serviced daily and are spotless. The staff, as previous reviewers have said, are fantastic and will recommend the best restaurants, beaches and walks. I cannot praise them enough. Breakfast is a basic continental served at a huge table or you can choose to sit outside in the blue washed, shady courtyard. My favourite part was the delicious, fresh orange juice. There is a stunning, indoor pool however it was so warm that we never used it. There is also a rooftop terrace, ideal for an evening drink with a fabulous view of the cathedral, lit up at night. We were treated to a barn owl flying overhead and circling overhead in the dark skies illuminated from below. I loved the quirky bathroom and had no problem stepping in and out of the shower:) The negatives are tiny compared to the huge list of positives... perhaps the air con could be cooler and my husband hung a towel over the window as the street light seeping in through the blinds kept him awake ( it didn’t bother me!) Overall, a great find that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend."
"This is a very friendly small hotel in the centre of the old town. The rooms are very spacious and the bed very comfy. The swimming pool in the crypt was lovely and the communal breakfast was delightful. It was nice to have a big table to chat with other residents. The roof terrace was also lovely to sit in a deck chair and absorb the ambience of this beautiful city and watch the sunset. We had a problem with our room as the steps upto the bathroom were quite challenging during the night and the toilet was not flushing properly. Our room was changed quickly to a much nicer albeit smaller one. The only issue is that there is no parking as it is in the old town and the nearest car park is about 200 yards away. This wasn't a big problem for us as we only had small wheely bags but if you have a lot of luggage you might consider fnding a hotel out of town. However it was very nice to be so close to the action as we were there when a festival was on and there was a great carnival atmosphere."
"We are a family of 5 and we stayed 2 full weeks at Hotel Tres Sants. Catalina and Lorena are the most wonderful hostesses: kind, attentive, sweet with children, and always willing to help. the rooms are spacious to say the least. The hotel is packed with details that make it very charming. This is a hotel with a beautiful character and personality that makes staying in in the old town a wonderful experience. the hotel’s location is literally right in the center of Ciutadella. We will definitely come back :)))"

"Stayed at this hotel for two weeks and had a very relaxing time. We had a sea view room on the second floor and the room was a decent size, bathroom was good with a large walk in shower with modern decor. Rooms were very clean as was the whole hotel and all staff were very friendly and courteous. The food for breakfast was very varied with plenty of choice. Evening meals were well presented and a variety of options available. However the food was very predictable and safe and lacked a certain sparkle. I think they could be a bit more adventurous,I would have liked some proper show cooking or a themed night of Menorcan food. Perhaps they might consider offering smoked salmon or even sushi which I have experienced in similar class hotels in Spain. Plenty of beds around the pool area and no necessity to rush down but there were still people getting up early to grab a bed. Entertainment was good and varied,it is all down to taste and age groups of clients. The one area I found to be disappointed with was with the swimming pool, there is very little shallow water to just laze and chill out in, after about 20 ft the water is over 6 ft and then goes to over 10 ft.,fine for keeping fit but I did notice very few people were relaxing in the pool probably due to its overall depth,it is more like an old fashion swimming pool in a leisure centre, needs to move with the times and create a free form pool. The pool for the small children was also a ridiculous depth, it was at least 2 ft in the shallow section and they have even fitted a ladder to help toddlers to get out. Really stupid."
"Just returned from another great holiday at this lovely hotel. It was coming up to the end of the season for the hotel and for the resort - but this in no way reflectected on the service in the hotel and we would happily return as late in the season again. A couple of the small shops in the resort had closed but there was still enough open to meet our needs. We arrived late morning, checked in and unpacked and headed to the Malibu for lunch - and relaxed. And we continued relaxing all week - just what we needed. Once again we had a superior garden room - comfortable, quiet and with a good view over the pool area to the sea. We love having the sunbeds on the terrace and the adjustable sun shade. The hotel and pool area are really well maintained and the location, of course, is perfect for a pre-breakfast or post-dinner stroll by the sea. We enjoyed the food and had some really nice lunches in the Malibu bar. This hotel has so many assets - but one of its greatest is the staff - without exception friendly, efficient and welcoming. We have already booked another holiday in May 2020 and are already looking forward to being back."
"I have been visiting hotel Santo Tomas since 2009. First as a couple, then introducing my family, my now wife’s family and now my children. The hotel is more than a holiday; It is like revisiting family. Will and Andreu on reception, the unchanging Juan Ramon in the restaurants, Yomi, Mafe and Nancy all treat us like returning family rather than guests. Alba, the manager, sails an excellent ship. We have fallen in love with this island and I ponder every rest moment about how I can spend longer in Menorca visiting my family. This year, 2020, has been a particular challenge due to the pandemic, but despite this the hotel seemed upbeat and aimed to put a smile on our faces despite the difficult times. I think the staff have done a wonderful job at keeping us feeling safe and I hope and pray that the owners realise how well they have done despite the situation. To my dear “family,” I pray that you have a safe and healthy 2020 and hope that our paths cross again in happier times. Thank you for all your efforts in maintaining an excellent establishment. You do a wonderful job in keeping your guests, new and returning, happy and relaxed. "
