"What a beautiful, classy hotel. Everything is top-notch. We were on the road for business; arrived late and had to leave very early in the morning. The hotel packed us a fabulous breakfast-to-go, and had it waiting for us when we checked out at 05:30 in the morning. Dinner in the evening was first-rate. Wait staff was very professional and friendly, and the food was terrific. And THE VIEWS!!!! It is called the Panoramahotel for a very good reason! Everything was first class at this hotel. We booked it because it was convenient from the Autobahn and the right distance on our trip. I had no idea how awesome this hotel would be. I cannot wait to return on a leisure visit."
"My company organised a meeting here. We arrived the night before the meeting and had dinner in the restaurant. The food and service is extremely good and the staff are very friendly. The bar is also a nice place to meet. The room I was given was very small but it was very modern and had all modern facilities. The walk in shower is particularly good. The view from the room out over the hills is very panoramic I guess that helped with the name!! All in all a very good self contained Hotel with bar, restaurant, rooms and business centre/ meeting rooms. We will be back for our next meeting/visit in July."

Am Markt 12 - 13, Schwabisch Hall, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
"Booked a double room with shower, incl breakfast for 2 nights. Arriving from the train station, it cost €7.30 by taxi. The hotel is adjacent to St Michaels Church at the top (higher) side of the main square. There is an unobtrusive ramp into the hotel near where the taxi dropped us off. A very pleasant and informative welcome, we were allocated room 108. There is a lift and then a couple of steps to our room. Closeby there is a wide spiral stairway. Our room is smallish, traditional and nicely decorated. It has a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, where 1 holds the mini bar and safe. There is a desk and smaller table and 2 easy chairs. There is a tv. The wifi is free and fast. The bed is comfortable. The windows are openable and face toward the back of the building. They are not double glazed. The ensuite is smallish but modern with a drying rack, shower including a rainshower. Even though the room is located on the other side of the building from the square, if there is a concert on, you hear it (as was the case on the Saturday night we were there). Ear plugs fixed the problem. Breakfast is held in a lovely decorated room on the ground floor. Staff are attentive. There is a vast array of food on offer to satisfy all tastes. It is well presented a d good quality too. Juices, fruit, yogurts, varietal breads croissants, waffles, cold meats and cheeses. The hot food consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and meatballs, all pre prepared. The hotel is very well located to explore the town. The hotel is pleasant enough, in a good location with a good varied breakfast. I think we got what we paid for"
"Enjoyed a two-night stay at this historic hotel. The first night we stayed in room 308, which had a strange layout. In order to get to the bedroom from the living room, you had to go through the bathroom. Also, the main sink was located at the front door right as you walk in. I think they need to redesign the room. The second night we relocated to the Turm Zimmer, which was very lovely. It was located on the fourth floor, up a winding staircase in the tower. I especially loved the color scheme and painted murals in both the bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was nice, with the typical German fare of meats, cheeses, yogurt, etc. They also offered eggs and sausages. The breakfast room, like the entire hotel is very historic looking and warmly decorated. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating in our request to switch rooms, and Schwabisch Hall is a charming little town. Lots of good restaurants and cafes, with a beautiful park next to the river that runs through the town."
"We stayed at this charming hotel for 2 nights and we had a lovely stay. The room was traditional but clean and had all that we required, including a small fridge. A kettle to make tea would be even better. The view from the room was amazing, looking out onto St Michaels Church, and down past the town hall. We all enjoyed the German cuisine, but a dinner menu for children would be a nice touch. The breakfast selection was lovely, something for everyone. The staff were all brilliant, so polite and attentive. We would highly recommend."

Bahnhofstraße 17, Schwabisch Hall, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
"Excellent small hotel in the middle of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance to everything. Would go back if visiting town again. They include breakfast and for 5 euro per night you may park on the public parking at the end of their street. Did not had a chance to try their restaurant except for breakfast and it was excellent as well. The owners which are two sisters were there everyday and their staff will memorize your name at the second day. "
"Very nice quaint hotel comfortable great location very clean excellent breakfast and friendly staff willing to help out. great experience, easy walk to city central shops, bars, restaurants. dinner available in the hotel if you choose to do so, with so many shops, cafe's bars and restaurants go ut and see the city. weather was sun and 70's during my visit, walked all around the city, easy and lots of photo ops."
"Stayed here recently for a business trip, very friendly staff, close walking distance to the town centre, I found it quite pleasant. Car park at the rear was small but plenty of street parking so ok. Would use it again. "

Dolanallee 17, Schwabisch Hall, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
"Checked in to Hotel Smartino for 4 nights for work. I’ll start with the good: We arrived before the check-in time of 3pm but managed to get our hotel rooms immediately so we were able to freshen up before heading in to the office. The staff are friendly, while they may not be fluent in English, they try their best and are always smiling. While the breakfast selection isn’t huge, it’s sufficient to keep you going until lunchtime - there are no hot items though, apart from boiled eggs and your toasted bread. The other thing that sets Smartino apart from a lot of the other hotels in Schwäbisch Hall (or even the rest of Germany) is that it has a kettle in the room, with some tea/coffee should you feel like you need a warm drink anytime. Given that the place is not near any conveniences, the hotel does have a small “pantry” of drinks and snacks that you can purchase if you get the munchies. They also do have a small room service menu. The not so good - its venue. Unless you drive, the hotel isn’t the most accessible. But that’s probably why they are able to price themselves extremely competitively. While the rooms are clean and relatively new, it is small. But that’s probably because we got the cheapest room. You may want to consider getting one of the bigger ones. Despite its size, there was still space for 2 twin beds, a little sofa and a work table. You may wish to bring your own clothes hangars since only 2 was provided. Oh, and there’s no wardrobe - there are 4 metal rods on the wall that you’ll use to hang your stuff. There’s also only 1 iron for the hotel - so you may need to request for it either prior to checking in or early enough in the day. Throughout my stay, I noted that I kept getting insects in my room - the ones that bugged me the most were spiders - they were huge by my city-life standards. Initially thought they were creepy crawling their way through under my door or some gap in the wall. It was only after a couple of days did I realise that whenever the room was cleaned daily, they would leave the window slightly ajar. Great concept in principle to let in fresh air - however I was on the first floor, facing a garden. So it meant I got my fair share of insect guests. If you decide to stay, remember to either get them to keep your window closed or to close it yourself if you are back in the hotel room early. Or just get a room on the 2nd floor. The last one which is rather hilarious is that they have an artwork of a lady hiding behind a shower curtain on the bathroom door. Unfortunately, opposite the bathroom door is a mirror which can be seen from the bed. So if you do not sleep in complete darkness, be prepared to get a shock every so often when you look in the mirror from your bed since it looks like there’s always someone else in your bathroom."
"Plus: First of all the hotel including room is ver clean and tidy. Modern style is what I like though so if you are looking for retro this is not it. It is perfect for business but not only. The rooms are comfortable. This is because of good mattresses on high beds as well as minimalistic but efficient decore: office table, chair, sofa by the window, lighting and very good bathrooms with good quality accessories: grohe etc. It is also equipped with reusable liquid soap containers which I prefer. There is also space for your clothes, small fridge, safe and TV. All on very small area (maybe 18 m2) but without feeling of overcrowding. Great thing that some 4 star hotels do not have is the fact that everyday there is a fruit or green tea waiting next to the cattle. I've been in so called 3 and 4 star hotels that did not even offer a complimentary bottle of water on the first day. Prices are OK less than 80 EUR for single room. Breakfast are very basic which may get a little bit boring after few days but it's fresh. There is no diner area of course but there is enough restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. A word of warning: be prepared to pay with cash in the restaurants and not all cash points accept Visa or MasterCard e.g. at least some Sparkasse cash points don't. Coming back to the hotel there is few things to improve but may be related to my specific room rather than hotel. The room was really warm which is not what I like so had to open the window. There is no AC which is not standard of course...just saying. My radiator had tendency to make noise sometimes for couple of minutes and the automatic ventilation in my bathroom was going on for like 30 minutes before it stops but I found a way to switch it off sooner- take the key card off and back in. Also the walls could have better noise proofing. I still recommend it especially when coming for business purposes since it is located bear the industrial area so I was able to walk for my meetings rather than drive. Service is very friendly and helpful. In terms of entertainment there is a TV in the nice breakfast area as well as fussball. I think that's it. I can definitely recommend it. Just a hint to the owner that they would really do good by offering diners on site too though."
"Good new hotel with funny and colored decoration. The staff is extremely helpful, polite, and always smiling and giving solutions. Room is large, confortable, clean and decoration is funny, full of colors. Toilets are also new and clean. Wifi works good in rooms. There is a lot of free parking places outside the hotel. It is located a bit far from the old city center, but you could even reach it by walk in 15 min. Breakfast is also very good (quantity and variety), in a quiet and nice place."

Marktplatz 8, Waldenburg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
"The hotel is situated wtih views on the surrounding countryside. Inside it seems that nothing has been changed in years, which is has its charm, when so many hotels have been over-modernized. The room in the secondary building was simple but tastefully decorated. The one draw back is the breakfast, but when one pays only 5 € for it, one can't expect a feast."
