"The location is right off the highway. It's within walking distance to the bus stop and within driving distance to a large mall and restaurants. It was very convenient. The lobby wasn't clearly labeled but it was the first building when you enter the parking lot. All the buildings look the same. Parking felt limited but I had no issues getting a spot close to my building. I felt very safe in this area. I was able to check-in early. I think it was about noon. The front desk person was very kind and got me in quickly. They assigned me to a 2nd floor room overlooking the pool, which was closed due to the coronavirus. The fitness room was closed, also. My room was clean. The full kitchen had everything plus coffee and popcorn. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap. There was a lot of square footage and closet space. The king bed was comfortable with nice pillows. Heat & AC worked perfectly. Lighting was good. They also have the local paper and the Wall Street Journal every day. Breakfast was a to-go bag. There was a small muffin, an orange, packaged boiled eggs, and a small granola bar. Check-out was at noon."
"I stayed at this property a few nights with family during a recent road trip. We have stayed in Residence Inn's before primarily because of the huge rooms with separate bedrooms and full kitchens. These are great for families and this type of space is virtually unheard of at other competing chains. This Residence Inn was perfectly located, easy to get to, and very close to the mall and other shopping, groceries, and food options. This property, however, is in need of a refurbishment and it appeared to be in the process of being updated. Our suite was very well used but serviceable. The refrigerator was not cold and while this wasn't a big issue during this trip, did limit our ability to keep a few items we did bring and any leftovers from meals. There were also a few items missing from the kitchen that are typically present at other Residence Inn's. A cold breakfast in a to go bag was provided which was a nice gesture however at this point not sure why Marriott properties haven't transitioned back to offering more items and a hot breakfast. We stayed at other establishments during this road trip which did provide hot breakfasts. Visitors should be aware the property is very close to the interstate and the road noise is obvious however in the room it was covered up by the sound of the fan. Overall the value for the space was great and once this property is refurbished it will be a great place to stay."
"I'm a Marriott guy, nearly 950 nights there so this old school Res Inn design of detached buildings consisting of 4-8 units doesn't bother me at all, actually kind of like them. This hotel seems pretty clean and close to many things but also a major roadway. The lobby "Market" was very poorly stocked so don't depend on picking up an item of interest there. Also be advised the breakfast is closed at 9am and the staff descends on the buffet at 8:50am to eat the remaining food while other staff takes the rest of it away, starting with the utensils. The bacon was nice and crispy though! I was put in the closest room to the road/freeway and for me it wasn't a deal killer but my biz partner would have lost his mind. The road did wake me up in the morning. One of the best perks to a Res Inn is the microwave popcorn, of course this Res Inn didn't have that. This hotel is pretty average for hotels, maybe a touch under that for Res Inns. I'd stay here again if needed but I'll look around first."

"I don’t understand how anyone can give the Four Seasons less than 5 stars. Had a wonderful in town get away. The room was so lovely, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the staff was awesome, and room service was so delicious. The spa is expensive for St. Louis, but it’s true pampering, especially the lounge area. The restaurant is first class and if the weather is good, the outside area has a great urban feel and view of the Arch."
"The highlight of this hotel is the view of the Gateway Arch. It is breath-taking. Like most Four Seasons, the service is excellent and there is the usual attention to detail. It has a fine pool and an excellent spa, My only complaint is that parking is expensive. "
"This hotel is my go to when I’m in town. The staff is absolutely wonderful, and the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. This is my only experience with the Four Seasons brand, but I’ll gladly try other locations based on my experiences here."

"This was my first trip to St. Louis and in addition to a business meeting, I was in town for a Stars road game, so the location of the property was ideal. Upon arrival, I was given a rock-star greeting by the front desk agent. I had an early morning flight, so I arrived at the hotel about six hours ahead of check-in time. The $25 early check-in fee was something I would usually balk at, but the attitude of the staff more than made up for it, so I had no problem paying it. Room Service That morning, I ordered room service, which is where the “hiccups” occurred. I ordered three a la carte times, all in the $3-$3.50 range. Collectively, I had no problem paying about $12 for a room service meal, but one of the items was sourdough toast. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but $3 for one slice of bread and some jam seemed a bit much. It was also delivered with no napkin, plastic wares, and no condiments in a to-go box. I had also asked for water, which did not arrive. Not a big deal because there were two bottles of water in the room. The next morning, I would find out why this food was delivered this way. As far as the food itself went, it was very good. The next morning, I again ordered room service, but when the front desk answered, I was informed the hotel does offer room service. My assumption was that the day before, the restaurant staff was just kind enough to run the order up to me, which explained why I got everything with to-go wares. So, I went downstairs to place an order. Again, the food was excellent and the restaurant staff itself was very kind. It just seemed a bit weird to me, though, that they have menus in the room and the TV menu says to call “service” to place an order, yet, they apparently have no formal room service. The Room I was staying in a junior suite, which was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My ONLY real knock on the room itself is that the bar had no price list on it. Had there been a price list, I probably would have used the bar items in the room. Since it was a suite, though, I could see how an unsuspecting guest could think these items were complimentary and run up a few hundred dollar tab on the wet bar and snacks (I am a former hotelier and know these were not freebies, so I managed to avoid that trap.) I did address this issue with the front desk manager upon checkout. In terms of amenities, the internet was a real issue for me. I work from home, so having a quick connection is a must, and this connection was very slow the entire weekend. What normally takes me about four hours was taking about six during my stay. If there would have been an option to purchase quicker internet at a reasonable price, I would have taken it. Lobby Bar The staff at the lobby bar was both exceptional and helpful. After going out for dinner on my first night, I stopped by the bar and was immediately greeted and served. The patrons were friendly and it was very easy to strike up a conversation. On my second ni"
"This seems to be one of the newer hotels in downtown St Louis. I was in town for a business conference and checked in very late but had no problems. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Bed is comfortable and I loved the decorations in the room, felt nicer than many $500+/nt hotels I've stayed at. The building is great with a bar and restaurant in the lobby (did not try the restaurant), and there is a rooftop bar that is open Thursday - Sunday. Great views from the rooftop. Also a pool on the roof, but it's March so a bit too cold for the pool still. The lady at the front desk (Cassidy?) was very nice and helpful. Also all of the other staff were very friendly, and small things like opening doors for guests were appreciated. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in St Louis."
"1920s meets contemporary styling, really friendly and helpful staff, and a reasonably priced gourmet restaurant. A great place to bring the kids and then spend the entire day at the city museum which is right behind hotel. Orlando the doorman is unbelievably friendly and knows exactly how to give you just the right information about local restaurants and attractions. Paul, who works the front desk is wonderful too! Definitely will be coming back."

"The location is very good, very close to the arch, the family likes hilton's bed very much, Ctrip's booking is super cost-effective, and breakfast is given as a gift. The hotel is not very convenient for parking. On the opposite side, parking is about 27 dollars a night."
"Double charge you on your credit card and don’t release your funds right away. Poor customer service. No Refrigerator or microwave in the room. No social distancing in the hotel. Only thing they did have was good food. "
"The food was good but the wait was long. COVID-19 is going on so the use of the amenities was limited. "

"New modern hotel. As a Marriott Titanium Elite (supposed to get an upgrade) I was given a standard 2nd floor room eye level to the cars on the adjacent very close highway. Had to go back downstairs and get a room on a higher floor facing the shopping center parking lot. In a hotel like this, I wasn't expecting a suite, but I also thought I wouldn't get one of the worst rooms. since they were not sold out. Second room was ok, clean no thrills. On three separate occasions there was No Hot Water for about 5 minutes each time. Not sure how a new hotel can be designed like that. Lobby booths with TV were a nice touch, but on both evenings they were not cleaned & had left over garbage in them. Limited food service & times. I think I came downstairs a little after 10am & they had no food service. I was offered "some left in the pot." The good news is there is a Starbucks & other food places across the parking lot. Better breakfast at Vitality Bowls also in the same parking lot. This is a first world problem & a minor annoyance- but as a Titanium Elite I am entitled to two $10 credits per day. They couldn't put the credits on my account to use against incidentals (like other hotels do) & they didn't have actual paper vouchers (again like other hotels). They told me when I made a purchase to just tell the front desk. So I went to buy water on the way out they told me I had to use the whole credit for each day at once time. So I had to buy $20 in water and snacks all at once. It really wasn't worth the effort. The hotel is close to area colleges. All in all, If you don't expect much, and you can get a room not facing the highway, its not a bad choice for a basic stay."
"This Courtyard is centrally located and is a great place to stay. It's a new hotel and the rooms are very modern and clean. The gym is better than most hotel gyms and even has a spin bike. What makes this hotel great are the employees. From the front desk staff to the Bistro team, everyone is so friendly and works hard to provide excellent service. And the Bistro food is really, really good. The chicken pot pie is outstanding! This is my fifth stay at this hotel and will always stay here when I'm in the Lou! The only problem is that this hotel sells out frequently, which is a true testament to the hotel and staff quality."
"We find a hotel for NYE every year. So we chose this location because it was near Dillard’s and the sale was happening the next morning. My husband didn’t care for the night staff. The doors were already locked when we arrived and they looked at us hitting the intercom button a while before they thought to let us in. Other than that, i have no complaints about the hotel. Our room was what we expected. Hotel was quiet and we had a great evening."

"Amazing venue. The light shows in the historic main lobby are dazzling. Order bar food and set yourself up for an evening of entertainment. The guest rooms are sheltered under the historic train barn, replete with reflection pools, restaurants and, of course, the 400-ft ferris wheel. Of special note is the brand new Saint Louis Aquarium. It is worth the price itself you take your time. You can rush it in an hour, but budget at least 2- 2-1/2 hours and take it s-l-o-w-l-y. "
