I have stay diffirI have stayed in several different Accor hotels, but this hotel does not immediately deliver to the Mercure standard and 4 stars. The reception: We experienced from the arrival that the receptionists, it was more like a duty job, more than making the guests feel welcome. When you arrived at the hotel after been out in town , they never said hello, normally when you pass a reception you just get a smile on the way, and possibly a hello, here nothing even if they only look on the screen no reaction. Only on the last day was there one said good morning, i chock little, and when asked when check out, if it was ok, just didn't have the energy to explain that the standard was missing. The breakfast Was nice and delicious especially the first few days when e.g. bacon was crispy and delicious, nothing was missing from the buffet, but the sloppy bacon the last few days could have been better. Cleaning We skipped cleaning after the first night, but ask for an extra roll of toilet paper, there is nothing to do but run out. The rest of the days we had cleaning, and on the last day we had not received an extra roll of toilet paper, unfortunately it was only discovered when it had to be used, which meant visits to the toilet with missing paper as a result. In any case, it can be done better by always having a roll in use and a spare. Maintenance We live in Europe, where you go up in climate and pass on resources such as water and heat, our toilet ran with water the first morning, which I told the reception. She didn't seem particularly interested, but wrote it down. The toilet was also not running when we came back later. But after the first use it ran again. So that's why we chose to have the cleaning done the following days, since thinking green and about the climate was perhaps not that important to the hotel after all.

Take the children to travel, set a suite, breakfast is rich, service is good, only to wait for 15 o'clock before you can stay.

We just spent 5 nights at the Regent. We booked their least expensive room and it was still fabulous. This is one of those hotels that does everything right. The hotel lobby and the rooms are elegant and yet not stuffy. The staff is totally friendly to everyone - from the business people in the breakfast rooms right on over to us traveler types in our polar fleece and REI travel pants:) Breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the sheets high quality. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are incredible. Full tub, large shower, big mirrors, good lighting. The toiletries are L’Occitane. There’s a high-end coffee maker and pods. The locations is perfect. We did a ton of walking - and in walking, I saw many of the other Berlin hotels I had considered in my research. None of the other locations is this perfect - especially for a first-time tourist to Berlin. We could walk to Museum Island in under 10 minutes. 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. 10 minutes to the Checkpoint Charlie area. I cannot compliment the Regent enough. It is one of those rare hotels that just did it all right for us.

Stayed for three nights in mid December. It's a very opulent hotel, and while the decor is definitely not our usual style, we found it utterly charming. Our room was very large, but also cosy, and luxurious. We had breakfast each morning, which was delicious, and also enjoyed a drink in the little bar which was perfect after a day out in the cold. Location-wise the hotel is just off Gendarmenmarkt, which is my favourite place to be based in Berlin. Would very much recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the city.

It was good to be back in Berlin after three years, and to mark the occasion, a friend suggested we do something outrageous. Like partake in a dish that's ubiquitously Berlin, but at an awesome setting and similarly astronomical price. A quick Google search pointed us to the Adlon Kempinski's currywurst, served at the lobby lounge. We were not disappointed. Large serving of sausages came sprinkled with real gold flakes. Glad to have had some historical Berliner cuisine and glad to have paid those prices. The hotel is super!

I was hier 3 days for the business because I was hier for one congress. The location and staff very good and very helpful and professional. The breakfast was the best ever in my life and I think the best in Berlin. The price was not cheap but for all your money you have everything! Excellent! Thanks a lot!!

Right from the Ritz Carlton sign, stayed here for four nights and the service was very good. Breakfast is rich in Europe, and the fruit is very varied, and the bread is not hard.

Stayed at this hotel for three consecutive times, the service is thoughtful and meticulous, and the hardware facilities are complete.

Advantages: 1. Excellent location, the main attractions can be reached on foot, there are many good German restaurants around. 2. The breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. Although there is only one restaurant (Italian cuisine), the hotel tastes good. There are different Rieslings in the wine list. 3. The high-rise room can see the scenery, it is beautiful. Disadvantages: 1. The room has no master control and needs to turn off the lights. 2. There are too few plugs in the room, which is inconvenient.

The hotel is refurbished from the old building. It has a European feel. It is close to the attractions, the rooms are high and high, there are slippers, the quality is very good, the service attitude is also very good, to explain the usage of each place in the room, but Personal reasons are still not particularly adapted or liked

Overall I would say that this hotel absolutely delivered what it promised. Our room, with huge (opening) windows that overlooked the street, was gorgeous and luxurious, exceeding my expectations and delivering very good value for money in Berlin. We loved the neighbourhood (and the tree lined street) and a combination of walking and the tram got us to where we needed to go. The pool was closed for a conference during our visit but it was clearly flagged on the website that this might happen. I didn’t even see the pool as I think it is covered to create a meeting space. Very cool! So regarding the pool, it’s a gamble. You know that going in! We parked onsite for a reasonable fee and the hotel’s location made driving in and out of Berlin easy. Staff were helpful when approached but not particularly warm and friendly. But they must get sick of Australians asking to go in the pool! There’s a popular bar onsite which is nice - it’s nice to be in a place where people want to go. I’d stay again for the lovely room and the very Berlin location!

We visit Berlin at least once a year to visit family and we believe we have now found our go to hotel. It is well priced for the quality of accommodation in a good area close to many restaurants and independent shops but also very close to the tram stop to more central areas. We spent a very comfortable 3 nights in a good sized room with excellent shower room overlooking the street. Excellent breakfast, very helpful staff and of course the pool which my husband used and even he said it was quite bracing! We particularly enjoyed the bar with its log fire - a welcome pit stop after a busy day before going out to eat. All in all a first class stay and we shall return and indeed recommend.

The bathrooms, with their luxurious rain showers and premium toiletries, added a touch of indulgence to the overall experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, the staff members demonstrated a genuine commitment to ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Their knowledge of the local area, including restaurant recommendations and transportation tips, was invaluable in helping me make the most of my time in Berlin. Culinary delights await guests at SO/Berlin Das Stue. The hotel's restaurant, Cinco by Paco Pérez, offers an exquisite dining experience, combining Mediterranean and Catalan flavors in innovative ways. The dishes, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, showcase the culinary expertise of the renowned chef. The hotel's bar, The Stue Bar, is a stylish spot to unwind with a carefully crafted cocktail or a glass of fine wine, accompanied by live music that adds to the vibrant ambiance. For relaxation and rejuvenation, the hotel boasts a serene wellness area, including a spa and a fully equipped fitness center. The spa offers a range of indulgent treatments and therapies, providing a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The fitness center, with its modern equipment and panoramic views, allows guests to maintain their workout routine in style. The location of SO/Berlin Das Stue is ideal for exploring the city. Situated near Berlin's iconic Tiergarten park, it offers a peaceful retreat while still being within easy reach of major attractions and cultural landmarks. The nearby Kurfürstendamm shopping street and the Berlin Zoo are just a short stroll away, providing ample opportunities for leisurely walks and shopping sprees. In conclusion, SO/Berlin Das Stue is a haven of luxury, art, and personalized service in the heart of Berlin. From the stylish and comfortable rooms to the exceptional dining experiences and rejuvenating wellness facilities, every aspect of this hotel exudes a sense of refinement and elegance. If you are seeking a unique and memorable stay in Berlin, I highly recommend experiencing the enchanting atmosphere of SO/Berlin Das Stue.

Overall Experience Impressive property that reflects the care and attention to detail management and staff have devoted to this gem. While it isn’t next door to the Mall of Berlin (20-minute subway ride away) and does not have the city-center bustle (meh), Hotel Louisa’s Place has an old-world charm with all the modern conveniences needed for a very comfortable stay. I will stay here on my next trip to Berlin and I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a comfortable alternative to the corporate chain hotels. Room: Very much liked the room floorplan. It was like a 1-bedroom apartment with a separate living/dining/kitchen area and a patio with a table for two overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower. The 12-foot-high ceilings with ornate crown molding and large windows made it seem very grand. We felt as though we had a posh European flat for our week in Berlin with all the amenities of a very nice hotel. Location: I was surprised to learn that everything we needed during our stay was within walking distance. We found three grocery stores and more restaurants than we had time to try all within a 5–10-minute walk. There was also an abundance of other shops and stores near the hotel. The U-Bahn (subway) station was 1 block from the front door. The S-Bahn (main city-wide trains) station was a 8-10-minute walk or you could walk to the U-Bahn and ride it to the next stop and shorten the walk to the S-Bahn. We did not need a rental car since all of our activities were accessible from the nearby subway or train. Price: I did my homework and found this hotel to be well-positioned in the market. Value for money was very good. So glad we did not stay in the chain hotel we were considering. Service: Unlike American hotels post-pandemic, housekeeping was done every day of our stay with fresh towels as needed. They emptied the trash bins and collected recycled containers and generally tidied up. All staff were very friendly and eager to help with any questions and requests we had. Cleanliness: All aspects of this hotel were well tended to. I typically wipe down drawers and shelves before putting clothes away. That was not necessary at this hotel. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean, and I was impressed by how this older building has been meticulously upgraded and maintained.

We were stranded by airbnb and their gang of hosts. Late in the evening we had to find a place where to land safely the three of us (couple and dog). We had no option but bay twice our top budget in the hope to get a refund from those who caused the trouble. We found so good service and place that finally we stayed also a second night and recovered from the terrible experience in warmth and caring attention of this very comfortable property.
