"Excellent hotel with wonderful staff, very clean rooms and great showers to enjoy at the end of your day or early morning. The hotel is very easy to get to with many restaurants near by. We found out at check in that they no longer have the indoor pool that we enjoyed on our last visit. The Courtyard Marriot partners with their sister hotel for guest to use their pool at the Residence Inn located very close to the hotel. The staff at the Residence Inn were so very kind to us and welcomed us to their outdoor pool. We all had a wonderful time including the kids."
"Kimberly was super kind and helpful during my brief stay. The room was clean, everything worked and when they did have an error with my food order, they more than made up for it. Location very convenient to restaurants and even the local mall."
"The check-in and van driver staff at this small hotel in Monroe, La was exceptional, Very Friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is a cozy place and near the mall with plenty of resturant options to choose from."

"This isnt the worst hotel I've ever experienced but definitely the worst Holiday Inn Express. The staff was wonderful - at both check in and check out. At first glance room was good....till I tried to use shower in the morning! Turned water on and noticed water not draining. Appeared that drain was closed. When I tried to open, the entire drain hardware came out. I set it to the side. Then when I tried to lift tub faucet lever to start shower spray, it was stuck! I had to jerk hard to open it up - given the drain it occurred to me that the entire faucet might come off...but it held. I was unable to get it to go down afterwards - guessing the cleaning staff got a shock later! In the shower, I soon realized there was no conditioner in the wall-mounted containers. If there was shower gel in that container, it only eked out. As I attempted to push harder on the pump, the entire frame came off! At least I was able to open conditioner bottle and get enough for my hair. Although I couldn't imagine that the cleaning staff wasn't already aware of these issues, I made a list to turn in at the front desk so they would repair prior to next guest. On my way to breakfast, I encountered other guests in the elevator. They were discussing issues in their bathrooms so I realized my situation was not extraordinary. These issues are fairly common throughout the hotel. At the front desk, the rep was very gracious. She apologized for the inconvenience and promised she would get right on it as soon as she had checked out the other guests....huh? Front desk doubles as maintenance? I proceeded to breakfast. For the most part breakfast was good. I didn't try the "make your own pancakes" nor did I see anyone else in the crowded dining room trying them. The eggs and sausage were good. I'm a big biscuit and gravy fan so that's where I started. The biscuits were very good (unusual for hotel biscuits so above my expectations!) but sausage gravy was tasteless. That's where eggs and sausage came into play. Sidebar - never once did I see a dedicated employee attending to the dining space as I've seen other Holiday Inns - neither cleaning or restocking food - was the front desk managing this too? After I packed luggage in car I went back inside to use restroom before leaving. I asked for directions and was told the 1st floor restrooms were out of service because of an upper room having flooded that bathroom earlier. Apparently the front desk staff had to clean as best they could because they couldn't get maintenance till Monday. Again no on-site maintenance staff? I had left my room key cards in the room so she made me another key for my room. Sidebar - she mentioned that she had her tools ready to work on my room issues as soon as she had a moment. I didn't bother to mention that half of this room's issues could only be fixed with replacement parts. After all she was so gracious and was really trying to appease me. I credit the staff wi"
"Nothing bad to say about this place, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had cinnamon rolls which is something I look forward to. For ihg members they have a wheel you spin for extra points which is nifty"
"Nice accommodations. We generally like Hilton garden inns and this one was nice as well. Breakfast was good and since we added the cost in the rate and are Hilton members, it was a reasonable price. I did notice several others coming to breakfast that expected the free breakfast most hotels offer. Bed was comfortable and service was good. "

"We were traveling from Destin, Fl back to our home in Duncanville, Tx. We don’t like to drive the entire way, so about noon when we decided how far to go, I called to make a reservation. The clerk was very knowledgeable and helpful. When we arrived, there was a different clerk on and he was equally as helpful. Our room was ready and we didn’t have any wait. The breakfast bar the next morning was delicious! There was a great assortment and everything was fresh and yummy. A great way to start our day!"
"The hotel was very clean. Our room was very clean. Plenty of pillows. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. Included 3 choices of fresh squeezed juice blends, 2 choices of yogurt-fruit smoothies, scrambled eggs, meat, potatoes, grits, oatmeal, waffles, bakery items and cereal."
"This property is fairly well maintained, with friendly staff. There is a bit of wear and tear but the hotel is clean and comfortable. The price is a decent value, for what you get and considering that breakfast is included."

"Hotel is a excellent place to stay! Indoor pool and temperature of the pool was excellent! There is a bar and restaurant in the lobby that I felt was a little pricey and the hotel doesn't offer continental breakfast which I feel should be included after the price I paid a night! But other than the Continental breakfast deal, it is a gorgeous hotel! You are right across the street from a arena or expo center! The weekend my family and I stayed, there was some kind of speed track set up in the parking lot of the expo center with some cool fast cars racing in the parking lot! Definitely a site to see! "
"Hilton Inn in West Monroe, La was excellent to be away from home, the staff, bar and dining was excellent. Rooms were very clean and organized. Will be going back soon. Location was accessible and many places to go in the area."
"great hotel with excellent customer service. really liked the layout , only drawback was not hot food choice available as early as I would have liked the next morning. very clean and new hotel. everyone was very friendly"

"Heading back to east Texas from Georgia we didn't know where we would spend the night and we finally chose Monroe, LA as a stopping point. I booked the hotel through the Marriott Bonvoy app on my phone and checked in at the same time. Checking in at the hotel was a breeze, just picked up our key and went to the room. As for dinner options, the hotel is several miles from downtown Monroe and it didn't seem there were many restaurant choices near the hotel. That night the hotel offered a manager's reception with wine and beer, snacks and tacos. Dinner plans solved. The complimentary breakfast was typical for an Interstate hotel. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and it was quiet. I did find the tub to be a bit slippery, handhold bars are needed. When the sun went down, we used the pool to cool off and relax. The only negative is that they allow smoking in their outdoor sitting areas which was annoying and should be banned in my opinion. We really didn't want to have to smell cigarette smoke while we swam. For what it's worth, the hotel seemed to have three types of clientele, business folks, older travelers and construction workers. Overall this hotel lives up to the Marriott Bonvoy brand."
"This is a relatively new Fairfield Inn and in excellent condition. Absolutely no complaints about the physical plant. Very nice. Now for the downsides: first of all, good luck finding this place after dark. Use Exit 113 (no sign on the Interstate), go south then turn back west on a service road where the hotel is 1/2 mile away. The check in clerk was very rude and of no help when I called for directions. Finally, you may view this as a plus or a minus, but I stayed in seven hotels on this trip and this one was by far the most restrictive in terms of Covid. The "breakfast" was a tray of Walmart sweet rolls and little bottles of water. No fitness center, pool, etc. open. Very bare bones. Maybe this is a Louisiana thing. If you can find it, get a pleasant check in, and when it returns to full service, this would be a five star place."
"Clean, bright, large rooms, nice large breakfast area, easy access to freeway (I-20), had a quiet relaxing stay for 2 nights at this venue. There are not any restaurants within walking distance so do need transportation."

"We stayed at the Residence Inn this Labor Day weekend and the service was outstanding. The staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the beds were delightful. The outside pool is conveniently located in the center of the hotel and even though it was very hot; there was shade and a cool breeze. Definitely, will stay here again."
"My crew from the airlines are staying here tonight. The rooms are clean and quite and I miss the free breakfast. The staff and van driver was nice. I wish the pool was open but it looks green. I love coming to here due to you having Netflix on the tv. Will see you soon. "
"I should have known...I was in the hotel shuttle with a bunch of the airline crew. When the shuttle stopped at the residence inn, I was the only one who got off. Everyone else was going to spinghill suites, which I will do next time. This hotel is bad. It would have gotten a 1, except the staff wasn't too bad. So, why should you skip this place? First, as others have said. It's next to the train tracks, not like they are close, imagine watching tv at night and your couch shakes as the train passes. Second, when I showed up, the first room they gave me was dirty. The beds were made yes, but there were muddy footprints in the bathrooms, the toilet needed to be cleaned, there were legs of some large bug under the shower track, and something ran across the floor. So they switched my room. Oh, forgot to mention there was a random couch in the hall way..??? My second room was better...I had to turn off the air conditioner because it was so loud. There was still hair in the shower. Why did I stay? I was afraid they would charge me if I left. I spent most of my non sleeping time out of the hotel. And the bed was really hard. Even the exercise room was dirty, so I ran outside. The breakfast was what you would expect, nothing exceptional. Oh and Marriott is all about the environment, but when I went into my room every light and every tv was on. I get you are trying to be welcoming, but... So, to sum it up, just go somewhere else."

"This is hotel is top-tier in the West Monroe-Monroe area. The hotel staff is immaculate as well as the rooms here. The customer service provided at this hotel is next level. The staff along with the management team catered to my every need while traveling during the pandemic. The rooms are spotless. Beds are the most comfortable that I have ever stayed in. If you're not staying here when visiting the West Monroe-Monroe area then where are you staying. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful property. I will stay here every time. A 5 star rating cannot compare to the quality at this property."
"My second or third time visiting this property and my family and I absolutely love it. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, they speak every time we come through the door. The room was very clean as well, they have started putting Lysol stickers are the door and you can tell they are putting extra work in due to COVID. Bravo to the managers and staff!"
"My room was perfect! The cleanliness of the room was exceptional! I love the fact that the rooms come with a kitchenette and a pull out sofa couch. The staff were all so amazing and friendly and really do go above and beyond! Could not have chosen a better place to stay! Really is your home away from home!!!"

"We are flying home today from MLU (Monroe, Louisiana), so we wanted to stay in an authentic Southern Town. Fortunately we found this EXCELLENT B&B in West Monroe and it suited our needs perfectly! We got a warm welcome from Innkeeper, Tanya and her son and were allowed to check in early. Our flight is this afternoon, so our Noon 🕛 checkout is just right! This place was beautifully renovated by Tanya and her son and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Tanya is very outgoing (the perfect innkeeper) and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation with her over breakfast...😃😃😃"
"My boyfriend and I were guests here this past weekend and we were very pleased. The building itself was so cute and clean and our room did not disappoint. The room was nicely decorated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The restroom was equipped with everything you would need. Tonya was very friendly and made a delicious breakfast. If ever back in Monroe, this will be our go-to!"
"Spent 3 nights here at the B&B with 2 other couples! Such a great time - the place was amazing and a perfect space for all of us to spread out. The terrace and balcony are great outside areas to gather. Can not say enough about the owner and her son - so helpful! The small town is full of great shopping - can't wait to return."
