"Had the pleasure of staying here a week in early March pre COVID. Splurged on a Cabana Terrace room (overlooks the adult pool) and has a private terrace with steps down directly to the pool. Room was spacious and well appointed. Property had a wonderful light and airy feel. Not a high rise and felt overall pretty intimate. No issues with seaweed at the beach. Excellent and typical FS service. Shout out to Derek and Mike by the pool and James at Florie's. House car was great to get us to an offsite dinner and a run to a grocery store to get some more dog food. Resort is very dog friendly! Food offerings were great (minus an overcooked burger thru room service which was quickly comped). Make sure to check out the Happy Hour at Florie's and don't miss the Lobster Roll at the pool bar. Can't wait to go back! Don't forget to download and use the Four Seasons app during your stay!"
"This is an excellent top end beach hotel with all the finest amenities. The dining experience is impressive, the rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious, and the employees are continually focused on ensuring the guests experience complete comfort and smooth operations in royal fashion. Also, the property is not too large which is convenient for taking walks in and around the hotel neighborhood."
"For the past few years we have vacationed at the Boca Beach Club or the Breakers, but both are too crowded, especially Boca Beach on weekends when they are inundated with local club members. Four Seasons is much much more genteel. All of the pool attendants, waitresses and other staff constantly look for ways to be helpful. The adult pool is quiet and - well - adult. We will be back. "

"The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida has a history that dates back to the late 1890s. As industry tycoons and wealthy socialites began flocking to the pristine shores of Palm Beach Henry M. Flagler, one of America’s great industrialists and founder of The Breakers saw the opportunity to purchase land and build grand estate hotels. He first built The Royal Poinciana, followed two years later by The Breakers. Twice the latter was destroyed by fire – in 1903 and 1925 – only to reemerge more luxurious each time. The Breakers reopened in 1926 after the second fire and was modeled after the magnificent Villa Medici in Rome. Building it required that 74 artisans be brought in from Italy to complete the intricate paintings, detailed across the ceilings of the 200-foot-long main lobby and first-floor public rooms, both of which remain on display today. Each successive year word spread and the resort’s reputation grew, ushering in aristocrats and glitterati to Palm Beach year-round. At any given time you could find the likes of the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, Astors, Andrew Carnegie, and J.P. Morgan, not to mention US presidents and European nobility. Much of the Breakers remains the same now as it was then, at least architecturally. You’ll still find unbridled luxury, the glamour, and aroma of the ocean out back and service that is second to none. In a world that is so interconnected, it’s nice to visit a hotel that lets you step back and takes care of your every want and desire. All with a price, of course. As you enter the front door of the hotel after valeting your car, you’re quickly struck with the charm and opulence of the lobby. Look up at the ceilings as you tour the main floor and you can't help but be in awe of the paintings and adornments you see. Check into your room and let the enchantment begin. The Breakers offers guest rooms and suites that are all well-appointed. We were treated to a Junior Suite with an Oceanfront view. In the room was a large king-size bed, a couch with coffee tables and two balconies overlooking the water. The rooms are tastefully decorated and leave you wanting for nothing; simply pick up the phone and dial “0” if you can think of something you need and don’t have. Dining is a special event all its own. On the property, there are eight dining venues; nine if you count Flagler Steakhouse across the street in the golf clubhouse. For my money, it’s the best restaurant on the property. After ordering a round of cocktails, start your meal off with a Seafood Tower, a collection of shrimp, crab claws, oysters and crab legs. Then it’s on to the main course; you can’t go wrong with any of their signature steaks, including the Bone-in Filet Mignon. For accompaniments, try something different, like Gorgonzola Potato Tots or Caramelized Brussels Sprouts. Top it off with an after-dinner drink and a piece of their award-winning Key Lime Pie and you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven, albeit a few p"
"One of my favorite spots on earth. You basically do not have to leave the property for any reason. You have a world class spa & fitness center, incredible restaurants (sit at The Seafood Bar & definitely get the giant crab leg), multiple pools that allow you to separate yourself if you want to hang with adults vs kids, and a phenomenal lobby bar (HMF). Be forewarned that the oceanfront rooms tend to be small for the price but overall the property is incredible!"
"My wife and I enjoyed lots of time here during the many winters her parents lived in this landmark, and we just came for a night for old times sake. Naturally we noted all the changes, and all that remains timeless — especially the great crew. Unparalleled property. Breathtaking."

"We stayed here for four nights in early January and were very pleased. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had been to the property in the past to dine at the award winning restaurant by Daniel Beloud, but had never previously stayed as hotel guests. It was a fantastic and very sophisticated experience. The staff was very personable and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the concierge service from Camilla. Also, the bellman and valet service was prompt and the bellman were always present with a smile to open doors, assist with coming and going and offer bottled water. We dined at the restaurant for dinner on three occasions and each meal was exceptional. The a la carte breakfast service was also very enjoyable. The room was spacious and had been recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The closet was huge, and the bathroom was very nicely sized and appointed. Everything was very comfortable. The location is perfect; just a block away from Worth Avenue, and a few blocks to the beach. We spent time enjoying cocktails in the very elegant yet cozy courtyard. We did not get a chance to spend any time by the pool as we had golf outings each day, but the pool was very quaint and inviting. Our experience at this hotel was extremely positive, and we will be coming back on every future stay in Palm Beach. The clientele consisted almost entirely of adults which made sense as it is not a great property for children. Big thanks to the staff for their attention to every detail and making sure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. We will stay at the Brazilian Court on all future stays to PB. It was exactly what we were hoping for and expecting"
"My boyfriend and I stayed at BCPB for 6 days on our last trip. The staff are friendly and the service is impeccable. This is our favorite hotel in Palm Beach. We enjoy the Breakers too, but we love the boutique feel of this hotel a tiny bit more and the ability to walk a block to our favorite restaurant in PB, Buccan. The doormen are so kind. More than once they gently reminded us of a possible rain shower in the afternoon and passed us an umbrella to take, just in case. The rooms are generously sized, and it’s one of the few hotels I’ve been to that has enough storage for both our things to be hung and folded properly. The pool feels like an oasis - it’s so leafy and gorgeous, and I’m obsessed w the scent they use around the property. The courtyard of this hotel is stunning and the fountains give it such a calming vibe, one of the best parts of my day was drinking a coffee in the courtyard in the morning (and I am not a morning person!). Can’t wait to come back on our next trip! "
"The Brazilian Court features two luscious courtyards covered in greens that will transport you directly to paradise. Their open design offers natural social distancing. There are lots of restaurants in close walking distance and worth avenue is only a few blocks away. The staff is extremely friendly with mask piercing smiles every time you walk through the door. If you are looking to get away safely and comfortably look no further than this gem in Palm Beach."

"I just finished a short stay at the Colony which in some ways was not up to their usual standards. I have been staying at the Colony a couple times a year since 1995. The staff has had noticeable turnover since the new owners took over. I understood some of the staff changes...but now it seems to be a lot of new faces. Anyway...when I checked in the front desk person asked brightly “Is this your first time staying with us”. I said “ no I have stayed here many times before”. As an aside...do they have nothing in their computer to indicate that? She promptly assigned me to room 209. I have never ever requested a room change at this hotel with the sole exception of one time when my shower didnt have hot water. Room 209 is next to the elevator. At first I thought - who cares its only for two nights. At which point I heard the rumbling of the elevator - and being a light sleeper I thought forget it. A nice man at the front desk switched me to a room on the 5th floor which was fine...except it was next door to a barking yappy dog. I love animals and decided to overlook this..and fortunately he didnt start barking until 730 AM and I was already awake. Other observations The service at the restaurant overlooking the pool was very good as was the food. There was a young lady by the pool who should be relieved of her duties. Day one she came by squeaking at people how is everything is everything ok can I do anything? I asked for a glass of water. Ten minutes later she walked by and I kinda looked at her and she said someone else was bringing water. Ten minutes later a girl came out with a tray of water ( maybe 5 glasses)and preceded to hand it to others...and ran out before she got to me. Finally she got another tray of water. It took 25 minutes? The next day I ordered a glass of wine by pool which she got me. I realized it was getting late and I wanted my check and asked her for it. About ten minutes later she walked by and I looked at her...and she said oh I will get your check. She started picking up towels. I left because I couldnt wait any longer. My glass of rose was $20? It was not a great pour . Felt ripped off. The bar isn't staffed properly. They have all these crafty cocktails that take an eyedropper of this and that with lots of fruity accompaniments. They take forever to make and if you just want a glass of wine you could go to liquor store faster. I also observed the bartender make a drink ordered by waitress to deliver outside. I think it was new on the menu. She and another server wanted to try it so they both stuck straws in the drink..put their thumbs at the top...then pulled out a little taste test for themselves. That was gross. The maid service in my room was excellent. I dont usually notice one way or the other but she put my suitcase which was open and on the floor on a luggage rack..and other thoughtful touches."
"What a fabulous property in fabulous Palm Beach ! If you wish to taste the true glamour of Palm Beach with such an amazing location I don’t see another choice. Property with such a charm, colors, glamour , cosy atmosphere. Located one block for shopping at Worth Avenue and one block from the beach 🏖. What could we ask more ? I was impressed by the numbers of complementary services : WiFi, Netflix in the room, bicycles for a ride on the island, early coffee for early wake up and even if car transportation as long as you stay in Palm Beach. This hotel is a splash of colors and because of it small size permits a family and caring service oriented. Tips : it really worth take a superior room as view are much better. The standard rooms face a wall in the back and in some occasion might be not pleasant. But everything was perfect in pink paradise and if I’m lucky enough to return to Palm Beach I will definitely choose the Colony hotel because it is the best quintesence of the Palm Beach Lifestyle !!!"
"I was visiting the Colony on business and I can't think of a better place to stay. The hospitality was amazing, and location was perfect! A few steps from the beach and Worth Ave. It was also great that there was a buggy or escalade ready to take you anywhere you wanted to go. Pool area was idyllic, and rooms were perfect. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Palm Beach."

"Pro: 1. New Hotel that has fresh linens, clean rooms and an attractive foot print. 2. Inviting pool and nice bar with good service for food and drink. 3. Good food and bar drinks with a nod to a rather delicious breakfast menu. Cons: 1. Rooms are already dated and dark, small standard rooms ( think cruise ship size) and a rather silly peek a boo wall that allows you to watch your partner sit on the toilet or shower. Stupid. 2. We heard everything in our room, from conversations in adding rooms to loud constant bangs from the downstairs doors to the hotel(we were placed over the main entrance) to loud party music from an adjoining room which required us at 230am to move to another room after I threatened to call the police. 3. While the rooftop pool is lovely, you are exposed to cooking odors (meat and fish) for most of the afternoon and while you might pay upwards of $700 a night for a suite you have no guarantee you will be able to use the facilities - there simply are not enough chairs to accommodate hotel guests. You might send your day siting in the lobby. We were disappointed in our stay at the Ben in West Palm. We appreciated the newness of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room and hotel as well as the comfort of the bed and fresh linens. However, at 350 square feet, standard rooms are crowded with large furniture and lacks basic storage. The room has four small draws and a closet and that's it for clothes storage. We also found the room darkish although leaving the curtains to the room open did bring in sunlight. Room service was very good and unlike the West Palm Beach Hilton, maid service can be provided on a daily basis upon request. Some cleaning staff were seen not wearing masks. The lobby shares the space with the hotel's restaurant and is comfortable and inviting. There is also a separate elevator that will whisk you to the pool deck. The Gem of the hotel is the rooftop pool with chairs and lounges that line the perimeter. The hotel's rooftop bar if off to a side and there is a desk area for those that are zooming. Lounges are very comfortable and are lined with Terry cloth liners. Pool towels are absorbent. We had mixed feelings about the pool space. The space is inviting and has great views, but there is also a strong woof of cooking odors that some will find unpleasant. Strong and loud BOOM music is played non stop which can also be annoying to guests wanting to speak to other guests or relax. The worst aspect of the pool is it's small size. It is very possible that you may not be able to enjoy it as the small space fills up very quickly and simply cannot accommodate all guests. This is disappointing to all guests but especially for those booking more expensive suites that can cost upwards of $700 a night. It is very possible that guests will just sit in the lobby hoping that she random chair by the pool becomes available. It's a major design flaw. BOOM BOOM BOOM "
"The Ben is a sophisticated, modern property right on the waterfront in West Palm Beach. Rooms are well appointed, many have balconies and details are not lost here. I've stayed in 3 hotels during the pandemic and this was the one that seemed to take it the most seriously. Front desk staff stood behind their plexiglas shields (unlike other hotels which had the shields but would walk around them to talk to guests!) and were fully masked. In room notices remind you what the cleaning staff did to disinfect your room. TVs can be controlled touchless using a website on your phone instead of a remote control. But, remember, this is Florida, so many of the guests in the hotel do not take the pandemic seriously and were not masked in indoor spaces, including elevators. There were not capacity limits suggested for elevators and tons of people eating indoors at the Proper Grit restaurant. Speaking of Proper Grit, which is where breakfast is served, service is a mixed bag. Some mornings I would wait for quite some time to be seated, and while waiters were incredibly nice and service-oriented, they wouldn't always be fully masked. When food service personnel aren't fully masked, it really reflects poorly on the overall safety of guests. The rooftop restaurant is lively and a fun place to enjoy a drink or meal, but keep in mind that the bar itself is packed with unmasked people - you're better off sitting at a table. I also noticed that of all things the front door to the hotel doesn't open automatically so everyone is touching that door handle over and over - make sure you wash your hands when you get to your room :) There were a few service hiccups. I used the Bonvoy app to request various things during my stay - for example, there are two paper coffee cups in your room but after a 5 night stay you'll need more, so I used the Bonvoy app to request some. They were quickly sent to my room and left in a bag hanging on the door handle. One night I asked for two wine glasses to be sent to my room, but never received a response in the app. Another day I needed more toilet paper, the request was acknowledged but never delivered. Follow up could be improved here. Overall, this is a great property and I'll be back, but they could make a few pandemic-proofing enhancements."
"We liked this hotel. It is well built to a high standard. The quality of the furnishings and fixtures is very good, and there is a nice vibe to the design. Cool features like a sliding shelf unit that provides a window into the shower, night light in the bathroom and little lights that light your feet if you get out of bed at night are nice touches. Check-in was a bit underwhelming. The person helping us made no mention of our Bonvoy status, and no amenities were offered. Our room was on the small size for the type we booked, which was surprising because the hotel was not at all full. Quibbles about the room were too few hangers, only one bar of soap, no plastic liners for the ice bucket, and no extra roll of toilet paper left in the bathroom. Also, nothing seemed to dry even with the AC on, so we had to swap towels. But, the building is solid and quiet. We heard a bit of noise from outside, but that's beyond the control of the hotel. Be careful after January, though, with the water view rooms below say the fourth floor on the south end of the building. You are going to be looking into (and they looking into your room) a huge new Italian restaurant being built across the street. Noise could also be a factor depending on what time they shut down, since they have lots of outdoor space. As far as COVID protocols, we weren't very impressed. There was no way to enter without touching and pulling on large door handles. We saw doormen there a few times, but not consistently and certainly not much of the time. We never saw anyone cleaning the handles. Also, staff did not make any attempt to remind customers of the Palm Beach County mask requirement for indoor public spaces. Two maskless people walked in when we were going to our room and went to the front desk. No mention of the mask requirement was made, and they weren't very happy that we told them we would not be sharing an elevator with them. Oh well. Also, when we checked in one of the front desk people offered to show us our room for approval but expected to ride up with us in the elevator. Nope."
