"I've stayed at this property 3x in the last 3 months. The first time, I found beer bottles under my bed and a dirty spoon in the sink. The next 2 stays were fine. This property is very new and usually, very clean. The design of the rooms is brilliant. Bathroom is around the corner, beside the sleeping area. There is a vanity space in between the bathroom and the sleeping area, next to the very spacious closet. The bathroom is exactly as a modern hotel bathroom should be: big with a ton of counter space, several outlets, a large glass shower and excellent lighting. All tile - no nasty wallpaper or tacky drywall. I usually worry about screaming kids and tons of animals in 'family hotels' but this one, at least for now, seems to have not attracted the Bundy or Griswold families. Breakfast is better than average and the seating area is bright, clean, unseemly and large. Nice new property in Tyler."
"I enjoyed my stay. I usually stay a week when I travel for work. Place was clean and all regular amenities. Staff great. Mike, bartender was exceptional. Enjoyed his time. Everything was great but..... ....the TVs at the bar. They are 2 tiny little computer monitors. Probably less than 20inches. It was terrible trying to watch sports or even the news in the morning. There was a little bigger tv that sat quite a ways away from the bar. Every evening, the TVs were the whole conversation at the bar. Seems like a cheap fix to take care of that one missing little ingredient. Will still return. But probably not in football season."
"I have stayed her several times, both with my husband and booking several rooms for a group traveling together. The experience has always been top notch. Location is great, employees are friendly and helpful and breakfast is well presented and maintained. I have nothing to complain about and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice hotel."

"We had a long day of traveling and finding this Hampton Inn was a blessing. We were lucky to find a room at this super nice hotel. The room was large, spotless, quiet, on the first floor, had a wonderful layout and it looked out on the swimming pool. The bathrooom area was unique. There was a barn-sliding door as the entrance to the closet, sink and bathroom areas which was nice because all of it was confined in that area. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of area to place suitcases. There was a sofa and chair also in the room. There was another sink outside of the bathroom area with a coffee pot on the counter. We really enjoyed this hotel area and wished we had time to shop. There were lots and lots of shops within this area within walking distance. A hotel within a shopping center. And also there were places to eat all within walking. If you are in Tyler, Texas, you can't go wrong staying here!!"
"I highly recommend this hotel. New. Clean. Staff is very helpful. Excellent location on the south end of Tyler. Tyler is my hometown and I stay at this hotel several times a year while visiting family. The issue is that every single time I have stayed here - they try to charge me more than my reservation was for. I have to bring this to their attention and then they say wait 10 days for the credit to my credit card. Every single stay, even though I am a Hilton Gold Honors member. I do recommend this hotel. But get a statement when you check in and most importantly get a statement when you check out and look it over while at the checkout desk and bring any errors to their attention, then. If you wait until after you leave and try to fix the costly error it is really difficult to get your money credited back to your credit card. "
"We use the TYLER location for business and family trips. This stay was just a getaway evening to escape from day to day chaos. Always very satisfied with the stay and the only time we had any incidents with previous stay, it was addressed quickly by staff. Very pleased and would highly recommend "

"I was slightly apprehensive and prepared myself for a bit of disappointment after reading reviews. When I recently arrived at the condo I was extremely thrilled at what I found with the only initial negative response was that there were bags of dirty bedding in bags outside of the door which wasn't a huge deal but though it odd. The unit was delightful. No issues, no bugs like other stated in reviews. Super clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating and timely with any requests. The rooms are all spacious and look great and well decorated. The jacuzzi bath in the master bedroom was very clean and a nice surprise as well. Water temperature were on point and seems to last a long time. The bedding was superb and the atmosphere was great as well so nothing negative on this end :)"
"Excellent staff, relaxing area, and great accommodations. It has something for all ages. Tyler is close by for anything you may need. Great Lake and Marina. Washer and dryers are free and in their own building."
"The rooms were very large and roomy. Loved the extra large bathroom. Sofa could use an update. The swimming pool and hot tub were awesome! All of the staff were very nice. I will definitely have a return visit to this resort!"

1945 W Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, Texas, United States
"This is, by far, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The management is condescending and flat rude and will never accept responsibility or fault. They ran an authorization on my card for over $1800.00 for a 3 rooms/3 night stay equaling $700.00. I was advised (or spoke down to like a 5 year old) that the remaining hold was for incidentals. Last I checked; a incidental hold at a Fairfield should not be $250.00 plus per room. Other rooms booked as part of our group of 16 only had their cards ran for $70.00 on an incidental hold. I was advised, however, that MARRIOTT determines the dollar amount not the hotel. The funny thing is .. my rooms (from the group of 16) was the only group that experienced the over authorization. Might have something to do with the multiple invoices received for the same room number. Speaking to the manager, however, I, in so many words, was incorrect and the authorizations are valid. By the way; the pantry at the hotel was empty. The gym and pool were closed. I’m still trying to understand what “incidentals” could possibly be charged to a room. We also experienced phone calls in the middle of the night from the front desk asking one of the rooms about their mobile checkin. She did not use Mobile Check in yet the clerk still felt it appropriate to call her room at 130am. Another room that we had booked experienced the front desk clerk or someone from the hotel attempt to access their room at 215am with a master key! The “grab and go” breakfast is apparently subjective. We left the hotel at 645am and no breakfast was set up in the lobby. The clerk, however, was sure to partake in donuts purchased for our group staying at the hotel. I’m not sure if the lack of breakfast was caused by the person sleeping in the lobby or if the clerk just forgot to set it up for the guests. When management was advised; I was impolitely reminded that the breakfast is “complimentary.” I guess the stated signs in the lobby showing breakfast times are more an advisement that an actual commitment by the hotel. Last, but certainly not least, was the rooms themselves. I sent a rooming list to the hotel approximately 2 days before arriving. The manager responded to the email as she was kind enough to provide a complimentary room. We had 16 rooms on the list. For 6 of the rooms (booked for by me) was listed by last name and confirmation number. One hour prior to arrival I contacted the hotel to advise that we were enroute so they can prepare for the large group checking it at once. Upon arrival; they had the names incorrect. They could not figure out what room was which. The manager expressed her discontent stating that this is why they prefer rooming lists (not remembering it was sent and responded to earlier in the week.. by her.) They continued to ask which rooms I had and which confirmation numbers .. all provided as mentioned previously. The manager and another associate handled the check in process. It took "
"Rooms are clean and up to date breakfast has everything you could want has business center and exercise room and pool Staff was very attendent to my every request Checkin was quick and my preferences we taken into consideration"
"This was my second stay and I love it so much. From the cleaning services, to the front desk, to the breakfast, everything is amazing. If I come to Tyler, this is where I stay! When I stay here I feel at home, away from home!"

"This new property is a great addition to the Tyler park and recreation area. Conveniently located in a hub of entertainment venues, restaurants and a major baseball/softball complex, this property is an ideal place for a weekend stay. We needed a place to displace ourselves while renovations are being done on our home, so we are locals. It was fun being a pretend tourist for 3 nights in our hometown, and this property made it all the more enjoyable! The room was very clean. We had a fourth floor room and it was super quiet at all hours. Even as the hotel began to fill up toward the weekend, there was absolutely no noise from the adjoining rooms. The water pressure in the shower is also great! Room amenities included Paul Mitchell products, fluffy towels, coffee maker, refrigerator and a microwave. We had everything we needed for our home away from home. The front desk associates were all friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Deanna, Claudia and Gigi greeted us with a smile and even a freshly baked cookie in the afternoons! They even recognized us and inquired about the progress in our renovations! Such kind and personal service is a big plus! Breakfast had a good variety of hot foods and continental options. Outstanding coffee bar with convenient to go cups with lids and sleeves made the grab and go breakfast an easy option. Britney was such a ray of sunshine and kept everything fresh and filled and even came by our table to pick up empty plates. Not necessarily a service you expect in a free breakfast. She was just a delight. I highly recommend this property to families (there is a pool) who are in town for baseball/softball tournaments or who are visiting one of our new shopping or entertainment venues. We may actually start looking for more renovations to have an excuse to staycation close to home again!"
"OK, this is my new favorite hotel in Tyler. I was transferred to Fort Worth, but still have to come back every few weeks. This place is just great. For around $100/night, you get a clean, modern hotel with friendly staff (especially in the dining area), a heated salt water pool and clean and comfortable rooms. Did I mention that it is really clean? Lots of dining options within a 5 minute drive. But do not skip the breakfast here. It is way better than most. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I will be back and I am kind of picky, so it has got to be good. My only complaint is that I had the large king room with two TV's. When I sat on the couch and turned on the TV, it also turned on the one in the bedroom, which was kind of aggravating. But you just have to stand really close to the one in the bedroom and hit the power button and problem solved."
"A big thank you to Betty “BB” Burris and the entire team at the Fairfield Marriott! Our family was in town for our children’s wedding and the hotel team could not have been more accommodating and welcoming from the initial arrival at the front desk and throughout our stay. With COVID-19 as well all precautionary measures have been made to make our stay safe. The rooms were large, functional, and comfortable. The beds are heavenly! We all got a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel is centrally located for all our offsite activities♥️ A must stay when in Tyler!"

"This hotel is very close to 4 stars. With a little maintenance and more thorough cleaning, it's there. Staff nice, quick to respond to issues. Mostly clean, especially beds, floors, main areas. Concerns: Barely any toilet paper inrestroom. Drain hole in dunk pretty bad. Toilet seat came off. (I'm 180, do no, not my fault). Seat was quickly fixed tho and heard desk on phone with maintenance afterwards too. This is a good place to stay. You wont be disappointed. Front rooms have extra road noise but that goes down at night "
"There's nowhere else I'd rather stay while in Tyler than Baymont by Wyndham. It always feels like home away from home. Most comfortable large beds, big rooms always very clean and very caring staff. I highly recommend this safe location. I will definitely be coming back!!"
"Big room, comfortable furniture, comfortable bed. Attentive staff, good free breakfast including eggs and sausage. Amy, Naomi and Marci were all great, helping insure a wonderful stay. Conveniently located near Aspen Grill, one of the top ten restaurants in Tyler."

"I chose this hotel because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. They were spot on. I was staying 5 days for business in the area and didn't want to break the bank while doing so. Yet, I didn't want to stay in a run down nasty place. Hey folks, This is the a great option. The price is right and the hotel is great. It is in an excellent location, clean, nice size rooms and the service was great. The location is right off Broadway near many different Restaurants. Also it is located within a few minutes of the Colleges and University. To me it was the perfect balance. The price was under $70 a night for a King bed. The breakfast area was nice with many selections. It wasn't over crowded like some hotels I have been too. The breakfast starts at 6 AM making easy to get breakfast and on to a meeting or work before 8 AM. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is clean. Cleaning staff took care of business each day no problem. I liked the bed and got a good night sleep. The WIFI was very good and allowed me to do my business work with no problems. The TV had a great picture even though I did not have much time to watch it. I had no problems at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I have to return for business."
"I always have such a wonderful experience when I stay at this hotel. The staff is always really nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very nice, inviting, and comforting. It is also conveniently located next to several restaurants and stores. Always a wonderful place to stay while in Tyler!"
"Very friendly staff. Room clean and spacious. Bathroom clean. Everything in room works Internet works very well. Breakfast very good. Close to many restaurants and shopping walking distance. The only thing because it didn't give 5. I crazy when I pay in cash and they ask me for a deposit. You have my credit card number(and work), in case the any damage. I know it's hotel policy, but it is impolite"

"Me and my four kids stayed on a Friday night and I got the larger suite and it was huge. So much space. The staff was not and I really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast area was closed due to the pandemic but they did offer a sack breakfast. "
"I have stayed at this property 20+ nights per year over the last 4 years but my last two stays at this hotel were so disappointing that I am looking for another hotel when in town for business. I understand with Covid that the hotel is short staffed but it doesn't excuse for rude behavior and lack of safety protocols. On my last stay in May, none of the staff wore masks, the front desk agent went around the safety plexiglass barrier to talk face to face with guests. After waiting in line to speak with her she greeted me with a glare and nodded at me that she would help me. I wonder if they are taking the Covid pandemic and the necessary safety protocols seriously. The bathrooms are feeling dingy and some of the rooms on the far end of the hotel have hot water issues. I am a titanium member and this hotel rarely acknowledges status and I have NEVER been offered an upgrade in my 30+ stays here. The only reason I have continued to stay here is because the rooms are quiet especially on the 4th floor. Unfortunately this is not enough for me to want to continue patronizing this hotel."
"Public spaces need some deep cleaning. Bits of trash in the elevator for our 2 day stay. The elevator floors and walls dirty. Really? Don't you pay extra attention to these things during this time? Luggage valet carts are disgusting. Disgusting. Throw away and buy new ones if you are not going to clean these things. Chair and couch in room both had stains. Yuck. Not up to Marriott standards. We stayed for 2 nights. They did not clean our room, and when we arrived back in the room late, we didn't feel like getting it corrected at 5 pm. We asked for pull-out sheets and a blanket...took 3 calls to get sheets with no blanket. Oh well, too tired for a 4th call. And btw, I get the short-staff reality these poor hotels are using to manage through this covid 19 mess, so our expectations are minimal. I just wish the tiny staff that was still there would try harder (and remember my 3rd blanket request). I have stayed here several times on business, I'm out. Better option across the street at the Residence Inn. Better staff, better and cleaner hotel."

"We were greeted upon arrival and checked in quickly. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions. We enjoyed relaxing in the lobby in front of the fireplace. The room was newly renovated and very clean. I will definitely use this location again."
"The inn was full! In the midst of a coronavirus outbreak.. the inn was full! New breakfast measures in effect. Still have food. Place your order vs self serve. We’re members- got a late checkout. Nice, able to shower after riding Beaty and the Beast! Room was in good condition. Would have been nice to have TV guide on the TV or a list of available channels. Hunting for channels was frustrating!"
"This hotel was just average. The room was nice size but overall didn’t feel very clean. Pull out sofa not comfortable at all...springs popping out all over the place. Breakfast was good. Lobby is nice. Fresh water with fruit in the lobby was a nice touch. Pool was nasty...green in color. Our kids were disappointed as we picked this hotel because of the indoor pool option. Staff was very friendly. Location was good. Lots of restaurants nearby. "
