"Me and a friend spent over £1200 on a two night break (inc breakfast and dinner) and five treatments - head massage, full body massage, facial, mani and pedi. WOW Olivia who was our waitress in the restaurant on our first night was amazing, fun, engaging, knowledgeable, impeccable service. The treatments, as listed above, whilst a little expensive, were superb as were the young women who looked after us. The head massage was worth every penny. The full body massage was brutal at times (I asked for firm and got it) but amazing. The facial was relaxing and the mani and pedi were spot on - all used quality products, The gardens were stunning - we very much enjoyed a walk about the gardens after breakfast. MEH Our twin room, whilst spotlessly clean, felt like a basic travel lodge room and not what I expected from a 'luxury spa break'. After being spoilt by Olivia not the first night we were a little underwhelmed with the service on our second night. BLEURGH Breakfast - a cook breakfast was prepared and served buffet style however you had to go up, tell the gentleman what you would like and he would pop it on a plate for you. Didn't mind that at all but there was a line of 4 or 5 staff standing behind the buffet watching you point at luke warm food. I don't know why they were standing there or what their purpose was but it was a little overwhelming first thing in the morning. The waiter asked if we would like tea or coffee, we asked for coffee and two orange juices. He pointed and said 'you need to help yourself'. The table next to us asked their waitress for juice and her response was 'of course Madam, not a problem'. The orange juice was from catering boxes - not fresh or high quality which you would expect in a luxury health retreat. Dinner - I was excited by the italian menu but it wasn't great. All of the antipasto meats tasted the same, the risotto my friend had was so bitter that she couldn't eat it and the tiramisu didn't have a hint of coffee in it. The second nights service was appalling, we sat with dirty plates in front of us for over 25 minutes. COVID As others mentioned - I didn't see any cleaning going on. I would have expected to see regular cleaning of touch points such as door plates, lift buttons and tables. Would I go back? Maybe for a day spa."
"My perfect friend booked us on this overnight spa break for my birthday. I don’t normally write reviews but would like to mention that Debbie gave me the best back and neck massage ever...I had many knots in my back and shoulders that she magically made disappear...and if I was rating my spa experience on Debbie alone it would definitely have five stars... The rooms were clean and had good views and the bed comfy. The gardens and grounds looked very good but it was raining so we didn’t get the chance to look round. The steam room and hot tub were lovely. Dinner was good and attention had been given to a healthy and tasty menu and our waitress was happy, friendly and helpful. But... As others have mentioned the rooms are hot, even though radiators are not on. We had no extractor in our room. ...possibly the most disappointing was the breakfast...just terrible...you’d think you can’t really go wrong with breakfast but oh you definitely can, and such a contrast to the dinner experience. For a spa that claims to have a nutritionist on the staff I would have thought breakfast would have been outstanding. No superfoods (blueberries, raspberries), no healthy fats (avocado), healthy sourdough bread, or granola. Such a shame a few little tweaks and it could’ve been outstanding. All that said I had a truly wonderful time with my bestie and I would definitely go back."
"Been in this Spa for two days with my Girlfriend. We chose to travel from London which is just 1 hour and 40 minutes for a relaxing weekend trying to avoid the stress of the city. Nice choice. Receptionist was nice and very helpful, room clean and tidy. I’m giving 5 stars for the restaurant which overall is very good along with the executive chef who is a nice and welcoming person. The stay was nice, a bit expensive for a single massage. We will come back absolutely "

"First of all the service was better than I have ever experienced, so welcoming and pleasant. Me and my 7 year old son stayed there the night as we were off to Rendelsham forest the next day, on arrival ther receptionist was so helpful and kind. Makes a huge difference, the next morning another lady said good morning and asked about our stay, makes a difference coming from London that staff actually care and are so helpful. So on leaving we forgot my sons Ted, he doesnt sleep without it and was in tears when i found we left him there. But once again not only did the staff find him they posted him back with a lovely letter saying how much fun he had but was happy to be on his way home. Guys you dont realise how much you have done for us, I am so in awe of the fact that customer service like yours still exist, I travel alot and i promise no other hotel has gone beyond my expectations the way yours has....thank you so much me and zak both really appreciate it..... Best Regards and thanks again"
"I arrived at the hotel late Monday the 23rd March to find obviously the bar next door was closed and no restaurants open in the area, the guy on the desk (Lubo) couldn't have been more helpful, he gave the local pizza place including his number and the hotel address so they could deliver ..he also told where the nearest supermarket was so I could buy something for breakfast the next day...clean, quiet and dark room, greta for sleeping in..So thing was the next day they closed the hotel as advised by Boris..I will be back and thank you.."
"This was our last stop on what turned into a mini Premier Inn tour of Norfolk and Suffolk. The hotel is on a business estate next to an A road but didn't feel industrial at all. The Covid precautions are standard but don't feel intimidating or uncomfortable . The room was a larger family size so easy to access the King sized bed from both sides and have small side table . The room was spotless . We had Breakfast at the Brewers fayre next door and it was an efficent welcoming experience . The staff were pleasent . We would stay there again if in the area . :-)"

"The staff and the hotel were very well organised regarding the present health situation with clear distancing signs etc. and I received a warm welcome on arrival. I had actually stayed here many years ago prior to joining Tripadvisor and the facilities are as good as ever. My room was very clean, comfortable and warm so I had a restful night. On this occasion, I did not have a breakfast as the friends I was visiting had arranged it elsewhere. The hotel has ample car parking spaces, but I suggest anyone checking in obtains confirmation from one of the obliging reception staff that they have left their car in one of the hotel parking spaces as it has been known for guests to leave their vehicle in a car park belonging to one of the neighbouring shops and were subsequently fined. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending the Harwich Premier Inn and thank the staff members who I met for their courteous welcome."
"The hotel rooms were modern and clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good. It’s right next to a Lidl so was really convenient as I have a 1 year old so it was nice to be able to nip out quickly to get things she needed without going to far. Didn’t eat the main meals in the restaurant but the options seemed lovely too. "
"Spacious double room with good tea/coffee facilities. Comfy bed and a good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Decent shower and easy to use and very good with shower gel/shampoo supplied. Definitely recommend staying here and will be coming back. "

"We stayed here last week for 2 nights. The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly. The room we had was very clean and well planned out. Unfortunately our room was at the front and the road was busy and noisy. We closed the window which helped but the room was too hot. I asked the next day if they could supply a fan for the room but they didn’t have any. I was somewhat surprised as they only have 5 rooms and thought they could supply a fan, especially after the hot weather we had this year. Maybe something they should look into. Fresh towels were supplied for us, but didn’t make the bed. Again, I haven’t stayed anywhere that doesn’t at least make your bed. We had a meal on our first night which was very good and the prices very reasonable. The breakfast was nice (although the sausage was very bland) but there was a limited choice. There were cereals, bread for toasting but it lacked fruit and a continental choice ie croissants etc could of been offered too. We found the tea had a strange taste as well. However, I would stay here again and recommend the hotel but would ask for a room at the rear and not the front. "
"We booked in for 3 nights last week, We were taken to our room and asked if it was ok and was there anything we needed. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable . I ended up in the bar area and sat by a lovely log burner drinking a fantastic pint of Guinness. The barman Josh was extremely polite as was Sara the manager . Next morning after a good nights sleep we were given a fantastic fresh breakfast and all the staff made our stay enjoyable."
"We went to the rose and crown as we’d been there last year and were pleased with the food. This time it was outstanding, the hand cut chips are to die for perfect steak and lovely service. The young lady working on her own was busy but she kept calm and gave first class service. We can’t wait to go back Thank you "

"A bit like a resort hotel, ten minutes drive from the train station. There is no restaurant near the restaurant in the hotel, there is a big supermarket ASDA walk about 15 minutes. The room decoration is still relatively old, but it is clean, there is a free indoor pool and gym"
"Fortunately, okay, okay."

"There is no elevator, you need to carry your own luggage, this is not ideal! Self-driving is very convenient, there is a large free parking lot, it is a highway, there is no facilities around, you have to drive to the city center for ten minutes! In addition, the hotel also has a gym and swimming facilities!"
"Very ordinary hotel, clean, but very few people. English breakfast is good"
