"This hotel has a noble feel! The friends who went there fell in love, saying they liked it more than Ritz-Carlton in Santa Barbara. I heard that there are many swimming pools, but we only saw one. The hotel grounds are too big, take a walk and take a look. If you are a golfer, you will love the environment more! Its daily activities are also very rich. We participated in a qigong meditation at 9:00 in the morning, and it felt very good. There are free yoga classes and the like. Not boring There are some restaurants to eat and drink ten minutes drive from the hotel. The environment is also super nice in that area, and it feels like a rich area. A hotel worth visiting. I will visit again!"
"Very good hotel, whether it is software and hardware and the environment, basically no choice. Mainly talk about the environment. If you live, try to choose the valley view side, it will be more comfortable than watching the pool. It's just that the price of golf is too high to match the price of American courses."
"Except for the location of the hotel, the other aspects are almost impeccable. The hardware facilities and environment are very good, the service staff is also very warm and thoughtful, seeing me with children and a lot of food, but also specially moved to a refrigerator for us to store."

"Service level and accommodations are not at the price level of this property You are paying top dollar for the location, and that is it. Do not expect top dollar service or rooms. Garden rooms are OK at best. We were first placed in a garden room adjacent (sharing a patio with)  an occupied conference room. The patio in our first room was dark and sad. We asked to move and we were placed at the other side of the property along the delivery driveway so now all we hear are trucks with their backup alert beeping monitors the train and the traffic from the main road. When we were at the pool our first afternoon, there was no one serving the area. I waited at the bar for over 15 minutes for someone to show up before I walked upstairs to the service area to ask for service. An hour into our visit to the pool,  the bartender decided to turn off the music in the patio and pool area because a couple at the bar wanted to watch a sporting event. I had to ask him to turn it back on for all the other guests. They don't have dual audio outputs at this establishment. Crazy. Honestly, this is not at all what one would expect at this price level. There were some bright spots, front desk and porter service were very kind and accommodating.  The server in the patio was a doll. But our overall takeaway was not positive. It's not a bad place, but it's not a great place, we expected a lot more. Frankly, it's not worth the money, and we won't be back. Saturday night at 10:45, with a lobby and bar full of patrons, and the staff was dragging heaters and equipment across the courtyard. We decided to head back to our room, and we were met with large carpet cleaning equipment and cords strung across the hallway. The internet is a joke. The only area in the building that you can get a strong signal on your phone or laptop is in the lobby."
"Although we're somewhat local (OC), we decided to have a short stay in Del Mar because we drove to the area for business. The customer service at L'Auberge Del Mar is impeccable. When I called to make a reservation the morning of, Lilly was so helpful. She answered all our questions and got us the best deal. When we got to the resort, the valet guys were awesome. They were in masks and were even gloves. They wrote our dog's name on the board, which was a nice touch. At check-in, Billy-Jean and Tim, were great at welcoming us. All the staff at the resort were super friendly and followed all COVID protocols. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who would like to get away and are worried about their safety. GREAT JOB. "
"This beautiful hotel is located right in the heart of Del Mar community, next to the beach. Me and my boyfriend had the most romantic time spent there.... you can see the ocean from your room.... The food is delicious. Plenty of plant based options. The staff is very professional and friendly! The hotel is staying on top of providing the safe stay to its clientele. I can’t wait to be back some day!"

"It's near the sea, so the price is high, and the accommodation facilities are average, not worth it. The surrounding environment is a bit messy. There are tramps outside at night. If you are not a surf enthusiast, there is no need to live by the sea."

"The room is small but the terrace is very nice. The view is very beautiful. The facilities are old. The service is warm. We parked the car in the parking lot of a business building on the right hand side of the hotel."
"Excellent position and great for the beach walk and shopping centre. One of the best accommodations in La Jolla ! Will come back again"

"This hotel is really recommended. I go to San Diego many times because I live in Los Angeles. I have basically stayed in various hotels. I have also stayed in many Airbnb by the sea. The quality of Airbnb in the United States is generally uneven and unclean. I still like to stay in a hotel. The location of this hotel is near Mission Bay and not around the main attractions, but San Diego itself is small and safe, so it doesn't matter. The hotel facilities are very good. The suites I live in have simple kitchens. It is very convenient to travel with children. The room is large and the view is very good. It is very suitable for traveling with children"
"For Ctrip.com, only the most recent bookings can be made, and you can't adjust the increase in money. The front desk has certain prejudices against mainland Chinese."

"There are two restaurants, the restaurant is closer to the golf course and the service is very good. Extra beds are available at the accommodation, but a butler service is provided before going to bed at night. There is a garage. You can park by yourself or valet. My door is parked by myself. The parking fee is about $ 30 a night, right? I don't remember the price clearly. The environment is very good, suitable for taking children to travel, to Sea World, urban areas, wildlife parks are convenient. I didn't take a lot of pictures, I just took a photo of the golf course in the hotel and it was open to the public. There are two golf courses in the south and north. It is cheap for locals to play for about $ 40, but it costs about $ 240 for outsiders."
"More historic hotel with golf club outside"

"We just got married 10 days ago at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe (New Year's Eve!) and I have to say that quite frankly it was the best day of our lives thanks in large part to the people at the beautiful Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. I have to start by calling out by calling out the incredible woman we worked with the whole time - Rebecca. Not only did she make the planning process a breeze (and a ton of fun), she was a saint on our wedding day - bringing me bread when I was too nervous to eat lunch, driving my wife around in a golf cart, finding scissors to help fix my frayed bow tie. Literally anything I needed she was right there. To anyone looking for a place to get married, having an angel to work with is pretty invaluable. The rest of the staff was unbelievable as well. The head barman / jack of all trades - Dutch, always made sure we had our favorite cocktails available and made sure that we were taken care of, no matter what we needed. Claude took such good care of us during the wedding, anything we needed was just a glance away. The front desk had nothing but smiles for us and all of our guests and were constantly helping us with anything we needed or wanted. The entire staff at the Inn made us feel as though they were personally monitoring our happiness and I can honestly say that we have never felt more VIP than the way they made us all feel. As far as the Inn itself, it is stunning. All of our guests kept coming up to us telling us how enchanting the Inn was. The faint smell of a fireplace, the cozy surroundings in a beautiful environment. We are already planning our next weekend trip back to relax and enjoy this absolutely wonderful place. To anyone looking for a place to get married or just a weekend escape to relax, I can honestly say that you cannot make a better choice than the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe."
"My wife and I spent a night here for a quick romantic getaway and enjoyed the evening. The whole area has a very relaxed, laid-back vibe. The room, a cottage king, was large, comfortable and clean and the fireplace was a real plus. The hotel provided two duraflame logs and we also ordered the s'mores set up. Both were great. Service is generally very friendly but not super attentive (i.e. you'll have to ask for what you want, it won't always be volunteered, but once asked for it will be delivered and done so with a smile). Dinner at Morada was excellent (including the service -- thank you, Heather, for making it special). Other local restaurants (i.e. 2 minute walk from front desk), are also excellent. The grounds are very pleasant, but smallish. The pool and pool area, in particular, are not terribly large. My wife ordered champagne at the pool and it was served in a plastic cup (i.e. a disposable dixie cup, not a reusable with a stem) . . .? In general, and just to be clear given some other reviews, I would not consider this a 5 star property but I don't think it is intended or priced to be. It is very clean and comfortable but, even with recent renovations, it remains an older property with all of the charms, quirks and limitations that come with that "history". As others have noted, quirky rooms, oddly placed safes, odd bathroom layouts, some service limitations, as well as lots of peace and quiet, fire pits and comfy places to sit everywhere in the public spaces, etc. . . . it just doesn't have all of the facilities, service level, or other bells and whistles of a 5 star hotel. Still, we didn't expect that and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you're looking for action, to be pampered to point of feeling spoiled, and lots to do, this is probably not your best choice. If you're looking to slow down for a day or two or just for a quiet night, a good meal and some relaxation, it is worth a look."
"Just had a fab overnight stay at The Inn at RSF - our casita was fabulous, we loved the real fireplace and burnt one of the Fire Logs before going to bed. If staying over a weekend definitely check out the Cocktail Lab at The Huntsman Whiskey Bar (Saturday nights) with bartending whizz, Dutch House. A real highlight of the stay had to be the massage treatment I had with Christy. The spa itself is peaceful and serene the relaxation room/patio has teas, water and refreshments and a really cute 'make your bath salt' bar with dried lavender, roses, chamomile, and Epsom salts, etc. If you want to walk out with your soul feeling lighter, soothed and enlightened, Christy will work her magic on you."

"This was our 2nd stay at Tower23 and it has become one of our all time favorite places to stay. The location is perfect with many cool shops and restaurants within walking distance. Check-in was easy with online/mobile option available. Staff is very friendly and helpful with any requests. The rooms are clean and have everything you could need while away from home. The views and sunsets are amazing especially from an oceanfront room. We will definitely be back here again soon!"
"I am writing again to give the highest rating possible. We have not had anything but the best service during all of our stays. The extremely attentive staff is ready to meet needs beyond expectation. Due to the Airline changing our tickets, we had to, unfortunately, cut our stay by a day but Luis went above and beyond to save the day! It is almost ridiculous how incredible the service is at this hotel. It is surely like no ther! Thanks, Luis!"
"We loved Tower23! The location was a perfect location, hotel staff was beyond accommodating and the was room nice! The staff made our birthday girls feel special by sending treats up to our room and did everything to make our trip perfect! Thank you! "
