"The hotel is in the heart of Rochester and the environment and service are very good. There is a parking lot. There is a restaurant and bar that comes with it, and Starbucks on the same floor. There are not many convenience stores nearby, but the hotel itself has a small shop."
"I don't quite understand why I booked it in Ctrip. The hotel also deducts $50 per night."
"Centrally located, with convenient transportation. The hotel has a car park."

"The location is better next to the University of Rochester School of Medicine facilities and the sanitary conditions are good. This is quite satisfactory in the Hilton hotel series. The service is also good. I stayed for four days with breakfast & # 129379; It ’s the same every morning. I hope it can be improved."
"Free parking, square. It is convenient to eat around, Chinese food, and Korean food are very good. In college, it is convenient to go to university. The surrounding environment is good and safe. The only downside is that there is a large cemetery around."
"The bed was very comfortable and the parking lot was very large with lots of locations. Location is about 15 minutes from the airport, many restaurants next to it"

"Loved this place. Hotel is located right on Main street near restaurants and next to a Dunking Donuts and gas station. Also right across from the Pittsford Dairy which you MUST visit (fresh ice cream, fresh dairy, homemade baked goods, cookies, pies, etc). I stayed one night on a package including lodging, breakfast and a 60 massage at their spa. Arrived a little before the massage time to check in. Very friendly staff and easy check-in. Hand sanitizer stations all over, masks worn and signs everywhere reminding about distancing. The room was nothing special but very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but comforter was soft and plush. They give you individually wrapped slippers, ironing board, mini-fridge, Aveda skin products, large flat screen, opening windows, and coffee setup with a few biscotti crackers. Our package included a cheese platter and bottle of wine also delivered to the room. The massage was great with a very clean spa and friendly employees. The hotel is right next to the canal and has benches to relax on a walking path along the canal. Ample parking behind the hotel and breakfast at the restaurant was good. Disappointed the corned beef hash was not homemade but looked and tasted canned. Friendly servers and good sized offerings. Bottomless coffee and even took a cup to go. Overall great experience. Felt safe, cozy and clean. Will definitely be back to this hotel when I return to Pittsford."
"I like the Del Monte alot - one of the nicer hotels in the Rochester area - we've stayed here a few times. Stayed there last weekend and it's the first time we've been back since they renovated their rooms......went with a more modern vibe - which was fine..., but I wish they had invested some $$$ into new beds. Room 110 - possibly the worst mattress I've slept on in years. I travel between 50-80 nights a year for work and I'm positive that beds at the lower end of the Marriott Brand, like Fairfield Inns, Townhouse Suites etc., have beds that are more comfortable than this mattress - it was horrible. We should have complained after the first night - that was our fault we didn't - but it was so bad on the 2nd night, that midway through the evening, my wife got up and went to sleep on the 'chaise type chair' they have in the room - her back was killing her so much. I'm not sure if all their beds are like that - but room I'd highly recommend NOT staying in room 110!! Shame, because in the past we've had really great experiences at the hotel - Eerie Grill serves great breakfasts and the Spa is the best in town..........maybe that's what they were trying to do - sleep on crappy mattress - you'll buy a massage at the Spa !!!! Hope they fix their bedding soon!!!!"
"When visiting Rochester, we often stay at the Fairfield Inn on Hard road which is operated by the Del Monte. Staff and visits there have been great and if problems arise, they are dealt with quickly. Because of that staff, we decided to take a rewards stay at the Del Monte Inn right on the canal in downtown Pittsford. The hotel is in a great location on the Erie Canal and inside is a beautiful hotel. There are lobby renovations going on that will add to the hotel character. When we returned from dinner, our room was cold and I could not get the thermostat to work and the heat would not go on. I went to the desk and they didnt think the engineering staff were there but they would work on that. In the end we received a portable heater. It took a while but the room did warm up. In the early morning my wife took a shower and started to use the hair dryer when the lights went out in the bathroom as did the portable heater. It was obvious the Breaker had blown. I called on the phone and 2 people came up but werent sure where the breakers were. IT took some time but they did eventually find them and restore power. I explained to the desk on checkout I was not pleased and the gentleman (looked like a manager) said he would have to look into it and see what he could do. I left with the impression nothing would happen and a week later I have heard nothing and no consideration, points or otherwise has shown up. He should have been able to make a decision at the time for this stay. Having been a lifetime gold member, I am disappointed. We won't come back."

"Stayed this weekend in 2/3 rooftop suites. Hosted a dinner party in one of the private dining rooms. Neither were cheap, and for the price I expected a level of service. The sales staff were awesome, jordan and sage! Our room was not clean, there were lemon seeds on the counters and the ceiling fans were awful, we didn’t see before turning them on and dust went flying all over the the bed. We looked at the others and they were the same, the couch arm rests were filthy also. We were told the rooftop bar and fire pit would be open, both of which I confirmed the Thursday before our saturday arrival, and both were closed. We were told there were staff issues?? Well, that’s not our fault? We paid a lot for our rooms for the experience. I get COVID but that wasn’t the reason. At dinner, our waiter dumped a lemon drop martini down the back of my guest. No compensation was offered. Not even a drink on the house? That is ridiculous. She was sticky and wet for the entire meal. Then I had two guests order a steak which apparently they sold out of. So they were stuck paying >$20 for an alternative. Something should have been said. But this couple was on a budget and ended up paying twice the price. Idk- communication could have been better. Overall, was disappointing! Rooms should be cleaner, all rooms, but the rooftop suites you would expect attention to detail. This is typically a great hotel but the attention to detail seemed gone, and I don’t feel I got my money’s worth at all "
"This is a beautiful place in a wonderful part of the city of Rochester. I used the spa facilities at Ape & Canary across the street and affiliated with the hotel, and they were amazing. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. "
"The hotel was excellent. I would not be able to afford a stay longer than a couple of days. It was a Valentine's stay. The staff was very welcoming. There were no problems and we had a great experience."

"There was a feeling of cleanliness and it was a good hotel. The bed was nice. There was no bathtub, but it may be due to the grade of the room. As for breakfast, there was not salad, so vegetables were not taken very much, but American hotel may be such a thing. The gym was pretty good, but the weight equipment was a bit difficult to use. We did not use pool, but it was good to look at from the outside. I couldn't find a good restaurant around. Maybe there was, but I didn't ask the concierge, so I entered a nearby steak restaurant called Mortons. I was overcharged but it has nothing to do with the hotel. Overall it ’s pretty good. "
"When I went there, the clothes were not very well worn. I was slightly despised, but I was more polite to check in. The hotel is centrally located, fully equipped and the rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy. Check-in guests are more formal, just happened to meet a class reunion. On the day of check-out, the phone was expected to be delayed by one hour and was confirmed."
"The hotel environment is average, the lemonade tastes delicious in the lobby, the room has a microwave oven for heating food, the hotel breakfast is a la carte, American breakfast. The hotel is very close to Eastman School of Music, about 600 meters away."

"Go to Rochester to visit the booked room. Clean hotel The breakfast is simple and the service is warm. There is a big supermarket near the hotel which is convenient. The airport shuttle has limited working hours, and it is too early or too late to provide services. We left the store at 4 o'clock in the morning. At that time, we couldn't get a taxi. Fortunately, we had an appointment with Uber in advance."
"The gym is more powerful, I like it more."

"Recently, I stayed at the Inn on Broadway in Rochester New York visiting my client. I stay at this boutique hotel for a number of reasons. I do not stay here due to perfection, rather I stay here because of the comfort and the way they treat their customers. I was traveling to Ithaca New York to see my daughter at college and stayed at another hotel where for the third time I had to check in late because of this hotels check-in system which was not done very well. When I asked why I was always checking in late not because I was angry I began to receive the transfer of ownership… You got it the typical "it's not my fault" response. It was no big deal but as I traveled to Rochester New York this stay brought this into greater perspective. When I arrived at the Inn on Broadway they immediately told me check-in was at 4 PM but they would do everything they could to check me in earlier. The woman in the small office where customers check-in immediately called the cleaning crew and said "Mr. Hagen is here is there any way we can tackle his room right away". This immediately jumped out at me because it showed a sense of urgency and commitment to the customer experience. I was allowed to check in two hours earlier and after a long drive you cannot imagine how great that felt. As I walked to my room a young cleaning lady looked at me and asked if I was staying in room 303 and I said no I was in 301. She smiled and I mean really smiled, and said "oh I just cleaned it it's an awesome room and 301 the room you're staying is fantastic. Have a great day and please let us know if there's anything I can do to assist you. I walked into the room and began to think about the interaction and thought wait a minute your a cleaning person you're supposed to be angry and have a spiteful attitude and not enjoy your job. As I sat getting comfortable in my room I began to draft a letter to the cleaning crew. I shared with the manager who gave it to the cleaning crew the letter along with the gift I shared why their mentality and why the work they do is so vitally important especially to those who travel in or out of their comfort of their own homes. The next morning I brought down a pair of pants to have them dry cleaned. They have a same-day service. When I got back after day at my client site the pants were still not done as the company forgot to pick them up. Instead of passing blame the hotel personnel at the Inn on Broadway immediately said they will call and make sure it's picked up the next morning. Here's the funny thing again that night I came back in the pants were still in the bag wrinkled and not cleaned. I was not angry yet I did feel inconvenienced but something happened that immediately change the way I felt. The young man behind the counter did not pass blame and offered something I've never had anybody do before-he offered to take the pants home and wash them himself as well as iron them. He did not pass blame and all he was doing was trying to"
"The staff at the Inn, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, were outstanding. Friendly yet professional and very accommodating. This was a local stay for my wife and I - a romantic night out for our anniversary. Dinner at the Inn (Tournedos Steakhouse), a short walk to the Geva theater for a play and back for a quiet night at the Inn. A few days before our stay, I stopped in and was given a book with photos of their rooms. Every room is different and I was able to choose the room I liked the best. I told the front desk person that we had tickets for an 8 o'clock show and would be having dinner in their restaurant beforehand. (BTW I booked the room through their website and received a $50 dinner certificate). She recommended a dinner reservation time that would allow us time to check in, dress for the evening and still be done in time to get to our show. I must have mentioned "anniversary" at some point because as soon as we were seated our server brought us 2 glasses of champagne - on the house - along with a hearty "Happy Anniversary!" The food was phenomenal, from the appetizers to the steak and salmon to the desert cart. We're not talking about Applebee's here so the $50 certificate sure came in handy. ;-) The room itself is exactly what you'd expect in a small boutique hotel in a refurbished early 1900's "society club". A tall bed with a wrought iron frame, plush accent chair, soft lighting. Very romantic and soothing. My wife and I love these types of hotels. Our 4th floor room overlooked an old church and the soft chimes from their bell tower added to the antique charm. Alas, all is not perfect. The shower in our room was a bit wimpy, not one that you wanted to linger in or share. The lighting in the bathroom was harsh - either 2 ceiling fixtures full on or nothing. A night-light or dimmer would have been nice. The room's "closet" was built into a wall unit and was way too small, especially since we had winter coats with us. The room came with 2 nice bathrobes and I guess we could have taken them out of the "closet" and hung our coats up, but something needed to be left out either way. Admittedly, we had a "Traditional Room", which was small. The Deluxe and Luxury rooms are bigger, but so are the prices. While dinner at Tournedos was superb, the free continental breakfast was a bit lacking. Muffins, instant oatmeal, some fruit, coffee, juice, etc. I wasn't expecting a "made to order omelet bar" (I love those!) but I've stayed in chain hotels with more robust breakfast choices. Come on, at least toss in a waffle maker. ;-) All in all, I would certainly recommend the Inn On Broadway if you are looking for a quiet stay, away from the blandness of a chain hotel. Spend some time in a quaint, old fashioned yet updated inn."
"I can’t say enough about how nice the staff was at this hotel. The rooms are very quaint like a bed and breakfast feel but have been upgraded with nice bathrooms. We got there kinda late and we said we hadn’t had anything to eat all day. The desk attendant said I will tell the bar to expect you. The bartender had took a break for a slight moment and the desk person came and got us seated and got us some drinks until the bartender got back- also you can get a full meal - really good meal in the bar-the food was excellent. The bed was so comfortable. A homey feel in a hotel stay "
