"One of the most iconic luxury hotel in Syndey - we were warmly greeted by the porter upon arrival, and given the WoH Globalist status, we were upgrade to a Deluxe room (75sqm) with an Opera view . Room was extremely spacious (you need a long walk for these Opera view rooms), with two balconies for relaxation outdoors. Nicely furbished (typical PH style) with a nice sofa for relaxation after a long day out. Breakfast was at the restaurant on ground floor - limited but high quality selection of food under a semi buffet setting with additional a la carte items to be ordered from the menu. The rooftop pool & jacuzzi were also highlights - on sunny days (which we had) it was glorious to soak in the sun and also enjoy the pool and the warm jacuzzi. A very unique and amazing properly - the Opera View is a must if you can afford the high price tag (relative to other 5* properties). Will be looking to return in the future!"

"My fiancé and I made the tough decision to relocate back to the UK. We stayed in the Park Hyatt as a special treat prior to leaving. It was such a great experience and really capped off a great time of our lives in Australia. If we ever come back to Australia we will certainly be visiting the park Hyatt again. "

"I was excited to visit Establishment Hotel after they reopened this August as they appear to have well-styled rooms with a boutique hotel charm. I was also interested to see how Marivale approached the accommodation side of things as they have an excellent collection of restaurants throughout Sydney including some of my absolute favourites. I understand that some of the issues I experienced may be due to difficulties with re-opening after the pandemic-forced closure, but for the majority of my complaints, there is no reasonable excuse. I was staying with my pregnant wife, and when we were choosing a place to stay we compared hotels based on their advertised inclusions from the hotel direct website. Our three most important features were a deep soaking tub, 24-hour room service, and a reasonable room size. According to Marivale’s posted information, the Establishment Room would be a suitable choice for us to relax for the night. We booked direct with the hotel, 3 days in advance. We were not told that there was not going to be 24-hour room service until we checked-in, well after the cancellation window had passed. When we arrived at the hotel at 3pm, we were told there would be no room service available until dinner, and then after dinner service, none for the remainder of the stay (breakfast was included, but reduced to either a ham and cheese croissant or a Danish with muesli and yogurt.) This lack of room service was not due to unforeseen circumstances but was rather planned by the hotel and they made no effort to communicate this to their guests at time of booking. Had I known, I would not have chosen to stay, as the comfort and convenience of 24-hour room service was one of our deciding factors in our staycation. We stayed in the first week of August, 2020, right as Australia’s second wave of Coronavirus was taking full swing. Establishment Hotel advertises itself as COVIDSAFE but this is far from the truth. There was no hand sanitizer available at common high-touch surfaces like lift buttons or the main entry. Worse than that, we were served our breakfast uncovered, as in no cloche or no plastic film, by a gentleman with no facemask who was breathing directly on our food. I am not sure if the hotel is in the middle of updating the wording on their website, or if they are in the process of training their reservation staff, but the wording on the hotels website during the booking process was “Full payment will be done at the hotel” and on the next page “No online payment. Your credit card details are only used to guarantee your booking. Our reservation system is secure.” They charged me the full amount at the time of booking, 3 days before my actual stay. I do not mind pre-paying for a hotel reservation, but lying about when you take payment is a form of fraud. In addition to these 3 serious complaints above, there are numerous little complaints that make the hotel seem noticeably inferior to other 4 and 5 star hotels around Sydney: No "
"During Covid, having a romantic getaway was becoming difficult and we missed our Birthdays as well, so when I saw the opportunity to book this beautiful hotel for an entire weekend, I didn’t hesitate! We booked a suite to have the extra space and I’m so glad we did! Our room was so spacious, with such romantic lighting, very elegant decor throughout, a sumptuous marble bathroom with extra large vanity and a bath with a view. Our bath was a little on the small size but we still managed. The room service menu choice was sensational and the food was excellent and delivered in good time. The included breakfasts were served in room because of Covid but it was a fresh and generous continental breakfast with delicious green juices. There were plenty of coffee pods in the room and lots T2 choices as well. The staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If I had to make any criticisms they would be that no one acknowledged our anniversary/birthdays even though I mentioned them in the booking. I was a little disappointed as most places make a fuss! Especially 5 star hotels. Also, there was a fire evacuation on the Friday night at 1.30am and no staff members were outside to care for guests or keep us informed of where to go or when we could return to our rooms. A little disorganised. Overall an excellent experience and great value for money! "
"We stayed at The Establishment Hotel for 2 nights in August and overall it was a good experience. The check in was seamless and the staff professional and friendly but there were a couple of areas where they could improve so this is why I didn't give it an excellent rating. The first room I was given I couldn't get the TV going so I rang the front desk who sent someone up to take a look and they couldn't get it going either so they organised us another room. Once in the other room I could not get the Foxtel stations but I gave up at that stage. I would have thought that a hotel of this stature would have this operating correctly. The rooms were large, well appointed and clean but the only negative was that the lighting was so poor in the bathroom that it was impossible for my wife to do her makeup, obviously the lighting was designed by a man? Not sure what the breakfast was like pre Covid but it is room service style and very basic with only 2 option option of a sweet or savoury and on the second morning we didn't even get a pastry. It is located in a good part of the Sydney CBD which is close to some great restaurants and bars which the hotel organised for us on short notice a table which was appreciated as these were full due to the Covid restrictions. Overall it was a pleasant experience but if they could fix those couple of areas I mentioned it would be an excellent boutique hotel if you wanted a change from the big 5 star hotels."

"It has been a long time since I’ve stayed at the Langham but wanted to take my husband there for his birthday. From start to finish the experience was just lovely- especially from all the staff. Jonathan at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we were looked after and that the birthday boy had a special time. Our room (deluxe) was large for a hotel room in Sydney and so elegant and welcoming. We changed plans and instead of heading out again in the night, we stayed in because the room was so lovely. We tried out the pillow menu too. Room service was very prompt and the food fine. We were able to score a last minute massage in the day spa which was very well received. The Observatory Bar is a must. Such a lovely vibe. We had the buffet breakfast in Kitchens on Kent which was definitely satisfying. A pleasant surprise was on picking up our (electric) car from the very prompt valet attendant, they had charged it for us over night. Such a lovely night. No doubt we will be back."
"Overall our stay was so lovely. I never slept so good in a hotel. The smell lingers with me upto now. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone is so friendly. I have been to so many hotels but I have never seen the staff so pleasant. Just smiles everytime. My 5 yr old daughter keeps telling me this hotel is soo fancy! Can we stay here forever??? They gave my daughter a bag with slipper and a bathrobe to use just for her. It was such a nice gesture! Thank you The Langham! Definitely will come back and stay longer."
"We had a lovely stay. All the staff that we encountered were very kind from the reception staff to the housekeeping staff and the concierge staff. Also the staff in the restaurant and bar were also very accommodating and kind. The food in the restaurant, bar and room service were serviced in a timely fashion with delicious food. The reception staff on check in and check out were efficient and very welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely room"

"We loved our stay! we were greeted at reception with bubbles which was also lovely treat. We were also upgraded to a much larger room which was absolutely amazing! We will be back again for sure!! The only downside was that there was a couple of food marks on the kitchen walls and randomly on a light fitting but I’m sure that could have just been a one off."
"Best outdoor pool in any Sydney Hotel for a hot day. Good food, good drinks, love the room."

"It’s just okay. For a 5 star hotel the amenities are very limited no heated spa and no heated pool. It is also without any umbrella on the pool deck aside from the back covered lounges. A standard room will have no bath tub. For a 5 star hotel I think it’s lacking of so many amenities. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary despite of telling the concierge we didn’t get any complimentary gift from the hotel. We’ve stayed in so many 5 star hotels around the globe and Thai was the first time it happened that there was nothing despite of being told from the front desk that they will arrange something. The room is good but not that great. I’ve seen better rooms in other Sydney CBD 5 star hotels"
"We stayed there for our special day, however I don’t think it’s worth it. Only the receptionist was nice and welcoming. Especially people working at the lounge who were serving the food, they seems so tired and not very nice. I spent a lot for this and wanted to feel welcoming and happy but they ruined it every time I asked something. They could be nicer and more kind. I normally stay at Shangri-la on special occasions and this was first try to stay at the new well-known hotel, however it turned out not great. I will not return. The view was great though. "
"We made a last minute booking at 7pm to stay at Sofitel for our anniversary and did not regret it. It was a delight to deal with James at check-in counter who was professional and helpful. The rooms are modern with a fantastic view of the city. We had drinks at The Champagne room and they managed to cater to my request for a non-alcoholic version of their signature cocktail - which they nailed. Thank you for a great time and we’ll be back! "As interstate travellers we were excited to be located so close to the bridge and the rocks, the location didn't disappoint! Loved the ambience of the hotel, really liked the vibe of the styling and it felt lovely being in our hotel room with its huge ceiling and making the wharf architecture stand out. Loved the 'Hunter' branded toiletries. Loved the dyson hair dryers, the breakfast was awesome, and concierge Eugene was a life saver finding us a last minute tailor. Only downsides: regular thumping above our room 126 (?), no chocolate in the mini bar (and no vending machines except one for staff?), room service menu is a bit limited and the open shower was a bit too open (water all over the floor). We will be back... with our own chocolate supplies though! :)"
"We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay in a harbor room with Juliette balcony. Check in was efficient with a welcome drink provided in the bar, and the room was clean and modern, with breathtaking views of the harbour. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I appreciated being able to open the windows and get some fresh air. Breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. Would definitely stay again!"
"Fantastic from the moment you step in the door. A wonderful greeting from all staff. Chelsie on reception was just the BEST. Smiley, engaging and so very helpful. She was knowledgeable and wanted to go above and beyond in every way she could. I’ll be back 100%, such a wonderful stay from the Hotel, it’s furnishings, food and beverage and whole experience. Thanks Pier One!"

"Booked the Junior Suite, expecting 5-star service and received an underwhelming welcome & assistance by the front desk girl - as if I was an inconvenience to her day. I called one week in advance to request an early as possible check-in and upon arriving early, requested to be notified as soon as the room was available. When I returned after 2pm, I was made aware that the room had been available for hours and despite having my phone number attached to the booking - nobody bothered to notify me. I had 6 bags upon arrival. Nobody on the ground floor to welcome or assist with the baggage or even direct me up to the front desk lobby. The room itself was attractive with a great bathroom. Pleasant furnishings with ample space, however the room was so poorly lit I actually needed to pull out my flashlight twice to find belongings in my bag. Keep in mind, I don't require glasses! At this price point, you can find plenty of better options with the expected 5-star service level. The location is great and the rooms are designed well. I enjoyed the aesthetics but that's about it.. its a gimmicky hotel with nothing much in the way of a view. Suggestion? Get the best bang for your buck elsewhere."
"I always stay here when I come to Canberra. We just stayed again for 3 nights in a room on the 7th floor with a lovely view towards black mountain tower . If you join the QT club you get a discount on the room rate . We had dinner in the capital bar and grill on site and it is nice. Only small thing is that they ( like many businesses) are having trouble getting staff so on occasions there was a bit of a wait at reception and in the restaurant. But all in all still recommend this as the place to stay in Canberra."
"This is our second visit when we go out in Sydney and we will stay again. Its our way of spoiling ourselves without the cost getting to out of hand. Door staff very helpful, even went and got us a Taxi Staff helpful when checking in Breakfast downstairs is an easy way to go Affiliation with parking stations is also an easy option"

"The address of the hotel is quiet in the middle of the crowd. It takes ten minutes to walk to the Sydney Bridge, and walk from the bridge to the Opera House for 30 minutes. The balcony of the room can see the panoramic view of the Sydney Opera House. Downstairs is the North Sydney CBD. Living room, washing machine complete, highly recommended."
"The 2-night Sydney harbour view apartment booked for my daughter's birthday, the environment is superb, the scenery is first-class, and I am very satisfied. The transportation is also very convenient. It is only 1 stop away from Lunar Park. If you have Chinese food, you can reach 745 in 3 stops."
"The room is very wide, and there is a kitchen washer and dryer, which is suitable for children. The location is in the deserted North Sydney area, not a tourist area, but it is a high-end business district. It is close to the station, the rooms are new, and the hygiene is good"

"I have nothing to say about the location of the hotel, but the experience of staying in this time was too bad. The sanitation was not cleaned in time, and the room items were not added every day. The most ridiculous thing was that the room slippers were thrown away by me, and I didn't even put new ones. I called at least four or five times in a row, but the slippers were not delivered. In addition, the photo shows the condition of the sheets after the quilt is opened. All the room service staff are Indians, I did not discriminate against them, but it was really unclean. This is really not what a five-star hotel should have! ! ! Including a piece of plastic that I accidentally dropped on the window sill, it has existed since I checked in until I left. I don’t plan to stay here next time. The Shangri-La Hotel is next door. The location of Four Seasons is not irreplaceable! I can't believe my eyes, the service standard of Four Seasons Hotel has fallen to a standard that is not as good as three-star! Regarding the question of ordering in the room, I don't bother to talk about it. Anyway, it is recommended not to eat in the four seasons, including ordering in the room. It's better not to stay here, it's really bad!"
"Excellent service and food was delivered on time. Shiv from the dining room was fabulous and made us very welcome he deserves more than 10/10"
"Very good site. Near circular key. Station, ferry Harbour, opera house, park. Helpful staff, nice service. I recommend you. ^^"
