"I am not sure why, but a hotel here costs twice what it does elsewhere in TX. Same hotel, same room. $200/night for one person is excessive in my view for a Garden Inn. And they charge $11.95 for the same awful breakfast buffet that other places is free. This is an older hotel, but very clean. Location right off I10 makes for a fair amount of noise. Parking was an absolute nightmare as the lot is filled with storage containers for remodeling. I had to park next door and walk over at 11 at night. Not too happy about that. Staff pleasant enough. Tiny exercise room. Not sure this would be at the top of my list on a return visit."
"This is the best hotel in this area. Clean, fresh, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast is not complimentary but if you are a Hilton Rewards Member you get a significant discount. I was charged a $25.00 deposit for room charges and mishaps and still waiting for it to be credited back, as I'm sure they will do as they promised. I would stay every time when we are in the area, "
"Business trip to Beaumont - company had a few hotels to select and chose this one - very pleased with room and service. Will definitely return. Stayed at the Elegante previously and it has gone down quite a bit. Glad I found the Hilton Garden Inn."

"My company was in town for a renovation in port Arthur. We first were staying at the Candlewood in Beaumont but then we came and got a pizza at Itza Pizza. I called the next day to check on rates for the MCM and they hooked me up with the sales mgr/rep Lacey. Lacey is THE BEST hands down and very very accommodating. We stayed on and off for three months during hurricane season but she always found a way to get us in rooms. The other super sweet and super social employee wAs the pool attendant (I think she does many other duties too) Anita! Anita is always helpful and is very knowledgeable about the hotel. I would highly recommend a stay at this newly renovated hotel and would also suggest an upgrade to the cabana room. The cabana rooms are poolside and very comfortable."
"This hotel has been remodeled since the Harvey Storm of 2017. Our meeting areas were very nice and the noise from other activities were not heard at all. Our hotel service attendant whose first name is Cheryl went out of her way to accommodate this meeting. She was in and out checking on everything and really exceeded our expectations. I have been hosting and attending meetings since this structure was the Hilton, and have never witnessed such professional services by the service personnel. I might add that we have had very good services in the past, but never on this wise. We could make her leave, for she came back time she got free."
"Actually, we've stayed here back in September after the tropical storm hit Beaumont. The hotel was hit bad but luckily they were up and running enough to take reservations. But, we had to come back first week of November because our home was flooded and the repairs just started this week (insurance delays). We've had some issues but most have been worked out. Our biggest issue is hot water for the shower. Sometimes it's hot and most times it's lukewarm. I'm not sure why and we have reported this isse a few times to the front desk.I'll keep calling until they fix the issue. If not, I'll be on here again giving a review. :)"

"My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times and have almost always had a very pleasant experience. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and I loved almost all the improvements. However, there was one change that ruined the entire stay: the new beds are entirely too high!! I am a tall woman (5'9") and I had to push a chair up to the bed in order to climb in. My feet did not touch the floor when sitting on the edge of the bed. I'm not sure how a shorter person or a handicapped person would manage. This is the sole reason why I would rate this property as "poor". There were some things I loved, however: 1. They have replaced the curtains with shades. These are much easier to open and close. They also provide better light filtration at night, making the room darker at night. 2. The television is now mounted on the wall, rather than sitting atop a wardrobe. 3. They've replaced the arm chair and ottoman with a lounger. It was more comfortable, although a bit awkward. 4. There are lots of usb ports in several locations along the desktop and on either side of the bed. We normally bring a USB hub to connect our numerous devices, but this was not necessary with this trip. 5. They've added a very nice bench for luggage with three hooks above that keep jackets or handbags quickly accessible. 6. The bathroom is very nice. They have removed the tub and added a large walk-in shower with glass doors. The mirror is backlit with bright indirect lighting. ] 7. The breakfast area has been completely remodeled. Seating is much more comfortable than before. They added breakfast ham to their hot selection, and I really liked this (since I do not like sausage or eggs). Their cinnamon rolls were always outstanding, but even these have been upgraded. For a free breakfast, this was wonderful. I'm not certain if the hallways have been remodeled. If so, they need to reconsider. They just looked strange and uninviting. I think they were going for "trendy", but that was a miss. Even though I was disappointed in the bed, we will probably stay here again."
"I stayed here three nights, slept very well. My room was very quiet and very clean. Obvious this hotel has been renovated as everything was in perfect order. The Front Desk welcomed me back. What? I apparently stayed here in March 2012. Place is vaguely familiar but I’m sure they’re right. Standard HIX breakfast. Will book again."
"From the time I checked in with the friendly front desk staff to breakfast in the mornings everything was great about this hotel. I rank it high on my stays. The rooms were cleaned and maintained daily. During my stay you could see renovations being done to modernize an already modern hotel. "

"We stayed from Oct 4-6. The Residence Inn Beaumont was booked to capacity (primarily with contractors working on flood recovery missions), but it was exceptionally clean and quiet. Josephine, the housekeeping manager was on site each day overseeing and personally participating in housekeeping, and her hands-on approach is clearly obvious! Our room was immaculate! Kerrie at the front desk was very helpful and gracious, as were all the employees we encountered. She and everyone we dealt with knows, understands, and exhibits hospitality! Despite being completely full, this hotel was quiet. The equipment in the exercise room was clean and fully functional. I used it daily early in the morning. The water cooler was kept full and was in routine use by polite and courteous construction workers departing for their work day We will definitely be back! Note—this hotel is pet friendly. Although we did not travel with our dogs this time, they have been welcome in the past. Breakfast was great, too! Loved the freshly cut pineapple."
"What a pleasant experience from start to finish at the Residence Inn Beaumont. I called the morning we made the reservation to ask Daniel at the front desk to reserve 2 rooms next door to each other for us and he was so friendly and nice and did just that. Upon arrival we chatted with Edward who checked us in and he too was so friendly and helpful. We asked him many questions about where to eat and he recommended Floyds which was fantastic. The complimentary happy hour was great and the breakfast next day was good too. Very comfy beds. Thanks Daniel, Edward and Residence Inn for the lovely stay!"
"Have been staying here since Dec. The accommodations are great, but the staff makes the hotel. They are always helpful and friendly. The manager goes out of his way for guests. The socials are good, breakfast is great. The cleaning team is meticulous especially during the pandemic. I will stay here whenever I am in the area."

"We stayed at the Home2 in Beaumont for a night on our way through Texas on a road trip. All the staff we encountered here were so nice and always smiling. They made us feel welcomed and made our stay perfect. The hotel itself is very modern and bright, which was very refreshing for us to spend the night! The room was very spacious and the shower had good water pressure! Lol! With Home2 being a Hilton hotel, we knew it wouldn’t disappoint. "
"I'm so not looking forward to being served by front-desk employee Janice. Every-time I check in she makes me feel unwanted, never smiles, acts like she is doing me a favor as if I'm bothering her and she has some other, more important stuff to do. Of course, she never wishes me a pleasant stay or any typical courtesy you would expect from Hilton to its platinum members. I'm very disappointed. The last drop was that I found out that I am being gossiped about by another front desk employee with hotel guests. That's very unprofessional and rude. It is very unfortunate, because the hotel itself is nice and modern, roomy, has nice gym and other employees work hard to make my stay pleasant."
"Very pleased with location ( nearby easy dining options ) and entertainment- movie theatre . So clean, fresh well done and staff so gracious. Felt very safe too. Complimentary breakfast nice variety even keto or low carb friendly. Area cleaned as people finished eating - not left messy "

"When we checked in, we were put on the first floor. My husband ask that they change it to second or third floor. When we got to the room, we had two double beds....okay. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. As we were bringing up our luggage, the second time we brought some items to the room, the door wouldn't open. I tried several times to open it and it finally worked. We had bought a DVD to watch since the room had a DVD player. It worked, but no sound. I tried to call the desk, and the room phone wasn't working. I guess the worst thing about it was the smell. The hotel smelled of old sweaty socks and cigarettes. After being out on Saturday, we came back to our room to the sound of a boom box next door and the very strong smell of someone smoking in their room wafting all over the second floor."
"Our five-night stay in Nederland was made comfortable by the staff and lodgings at this property. Every need is addressed promptly. And, Joey and Laura serve up a Managers’ Reception on Wednesday evening, complete with grilled meats, sides, and complementary beer and wine. This hotel is a smart choice!"
"Thankfully, I was able to find a room for a few nights after a hurricane created contractor work for weeks. I had to come very late to check in, but had no issues getting checked in. Parking wasn’t great, but that happens when the hotel is completely booked. The weird thing was, there was a fan set up in the room- like a fan you put in a water damaged room to dry the carpet. Very odd. No mention of it at check in. But the room is clean. I have no real complaints"

"Just stopped over night in Beaumont and glad we choose Homewood suites. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful but professional. The room was very clean and well appointed. Hallways clean. When checking in asked for extra pillows and it was not a problem. Breakfast was to start at 7 but we had to leave early and were told just to go and ask in morning what was available. The next morning we were surprised that the full breakfast was ready. Very nice. Nice quality and well displayed. The yogurt bar was excellent, granola, mixed nuts, and huge raspberries. But the staff in the breakfast area were amazing ( I wish I had names but it was a Saturday morning). Helpful, friendly and even brought treats for children when we were leaving. A nice stay!"
"Our experience with Homewood suites is the best that my wife and I have ever had. From Alyssa during check in, to room cleanliness, to Demmi, Fawn, and Wesley during meals and friendly support staff, this is the most enjoyable hotel experience we have ever had during our travels. Thanks!"
"My family and I attend a conference every year and we have stayed here every year since 2018. Any issues we have ever had are addressed immediately but it is very rare that we have had them. Excellent staff!"

"I booked our room through Courtyard's website and printed out the confirmation, which said this room was 'prepaid'. Once we got to the hotel, the young lady at the front desk made my husband pay and when she showed her the confirmation that stated it was prepaid, she said they didn't deduct the money; that they just 'checked' the card to make sure it was good. I still need to call my credit card company to check on this. We got to the room and it was clean; but a light shade was missing, so my husband called down to let them know so that they wouldn't think we damaged it. I always carry plenty of bottled water for my husband, as he has a health condition and needs to stay very hydrated; so I ALWAYS check to make sure that there's at least a small fridge in the room so that we don't have to haul up a cooler. It was obvious that the small fridge in the room wasn't working; so my husband called the front desk again to let them know. So she says they can move us, but that these are technically 'coolers', not refrigerators and it will be the same temperature in a different room. So he tells her, "Well the 'cooler' isn't working at all." He asks her if we can just change out the cooler and the answer he got was 'no'. She then proceeds to continue to discourage the move to another room by telling him that if we have to move, it will be in a room that faces the highway; so we just stayed put, brought up our own up the cooler and refilled it with ice all weekend. Not much point in having a 'cooler' in your room when it doesn't cool. We stayed there from Friday-Sunday. By Sunday morning, they had cut off our wifi, even though check-out wasn't until noon. The reason I booked at Courtyard in Beaumont is because the price was good and because we had stayed at a Courtyard in Addison a couple of months before and the service there was wonderful! Even though they were doing renovation, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. We WILL NOT be staying at Courtyard in Beaumont again, even if it is a good price! Not worth the aggravation."
"The front desk staff was professional and courteous from the moment we walked in the door. Initially I was assigned the wrong room, the young lady quickly made the adjustment. However upon entering the suite I began to smell mildew. The lock on the on the sliding door was broken. The renovations in the room stopped short of the shower as indicated in the pictures. After contacting the front desk again, they hastened to correct the problem. The gentleman at the front desk not only changed the room but also lowered my rate. It was refreshing being treated in such a kind and thoughtful manner. The gentleman was professional at every interaction and wore a suit to work. My husband and I were impressed and grateful. He is a credit to this hotel brand."
"In this COVID world finding a clean place to stay is a priority, our room was sanitized and extremely clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access from the interstate. Modern furnished rooms. "

"We stayed here on an overnight stop on our way back home. The coronavirus pandemic was in full swing. The property looks very nice when driving in to check in, and the lobby area is nice. The woman behind the front desk clearly did not want to be there, and gave us the wrong room (we reserved a 2 room suite and were given a standard room so had to go back down to the front desk to get switched to the correct room). Understandable if the hotel was packed, but it was mostly empty. The room itself was set up nicely with tons of space. But, it smelled of pet urine (it was a pet friendly room), the furniture was very old and dirty looking, the carpet and all hard surfaces felt sticky. One plus - the bed was very comfortable and the linens looked and smelled nice and clean. We did get a good night's sleep after a long day on the road."
"Staff is friendly and courteous! We love that this location is pet friendly! My husband loves the fresh hot chocolate chip cookies! Not all LaQuinta locations serve cookies. Kudos to Beaumont, Tx! We stayed at the LaQuinta by the Galleria in Houston and the husbands missed the good cookies, they don't serve them at that location!"
"LQ usually doesn’t change extra for your dog BUT this one charges Other than that this is a very good hotel I would have rated the value better if we had not been up charged for the dog The room was clean and comfortable "
