"Favorite Hilton, we travel often and wish all Hilton’s are modeled after this property. Super clean property and outstanding staff. Hilton Ocala is staffed by super friendly professionals that ensured we felt at home during our six night stay. We visited the executive lounge with our family from the local area and hosted by Chloe, to non alcohol beverages (alcohol $) and appetizers . The space is quaint and allowed us to visit with each other in our own private place. Chloe was accommodating and friendly. Lucretia hosted us in the same lounge for breakfast. We engaged in conversation and learned how dedicated she is to her job and learned about the area. During our stay we visited Arthur’s Bistro and enjoyed appetizers and drinks to live music. On Sunday our family of 7 enjoyed the Brunch, while being serenaded by live music provided by Miranda. The food is fresh, delicious, awesome variety and Sally our amazing waitress ensured our mimosas were always full. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was awesome. We met other diners that travel 45 minutes to attend the brunch. Freddy Lopez is in charge of food services and takes his job very serious. We met Freddy when we first arrived and he went out of his way to make sure our needs were taken care of. Lastly, thank you Jessica and Autumn for coordinating our reservation and making our stay memorable. These ladies are amazing! We’ll be back. "
"I stayed for 2 nights for a business trip and arrived very early. I tried my luck for an early check in and Norma was so very friendly and helpful. It is not often you actually have great customer service. I must say from that first call until I called after I left because I forgot my receipt, all was perfect. Joel was another staff member that I asked for several things throughout my stay (such as needing to change rooms because I decided to bring my family down)-It was so easy and they were really great. Water was nice and hot and beds were extremely comfortable. Very clean and during this time of COVID, I really was impressed by the whole thing. I'll be staying there again!"
"Hotel was booked by a client so we didn't have a choice of where to stay. There are signs everywhere saying masks are required and nobody was wearing them. Felt fortunate not to ever ever had to share the elevator. We got to our room and there was construction going on above it (constant noise). We called the front desk and they said, "it's only for another 90 minutes, but if you want to change rooms we can do that". Went downstairs and were told we'd have to move to a room with two beds. Fine. Now the construction noise was below us rather than above us. They've clearly tried to spruce it up, but the hotel is kind of tired. Dirty tile, loose faucet, stained carpet, etc. Went down to the pool just to make some calls. There was a family with 4 out of control children basically taking over the whole pool area. Their mother just thought it was wonderful, but she was on the phone the entire time. The pool area looks far better in photos. Bed was comfortable but the covers are super hot. Pillows are those down type that get completely flat when you lie on them. When the client picks, you go where they pay for, but wouldn't choose this hotel."

"This is a common location for midwestern snowbirds to stop while heading south to Miami and the Keys. The Ocala Hampton Inn remains a top choice for such weary travelers. Whether enjoying one of the many local eateries, calling for delivery, or choosing a microwave special meal (conveniently on sale behind the check-in counter), be assured that when it is time to turn finish eating, turn off the cable TV and hit the pillow one will be rewarded with a comfortable night's sleep. The Hampton was clean, and quiet despite the nearby highway-kudos for excellent sound insulation. Pricing was very reliable. Overall, a top choice for the area."
"My go-to hotel is Hampton Inn, as they are consistent, reliable, always clean, and the staff both professional & friendly. The Ocala location is no exception. The made us feel like family, especially after a very stressful, disappointing day on the road, and driving thru the rain & traffic accidents. We'll be back!"
"This Hampton was wonderful we were traveling with our dog, every one was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. And the coffee and juices are always great We really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again. The bed was big and soft and so cozy. Even went into the heated pool"

"Loved it! The staff was Great! They made us feel welcome and were very accommodating. The room was immaculate. Had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast every morning what a way to start your day and again the staff was there to help you anyway they can. I will definitely stay again next year."
"Had a great 2-night stay. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub and the basketball court outside. Nothing at all that was a negative. Everything was good. Room was clean and good for a family of four people. Comfortable bed."
"Hotel lobby and room were clean, bedding was comfortable. Location to restaurants and shopping were good. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. I wish they had offered a little more choices for breakfast"

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my stays at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, in Ocala, FL! Every staff member was friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we wanted for nothing. The cleanliness was outstanding and the modern asthetics were something needed in Ocala, as most places are very dated. I will be staying again on my way back through! "
"I am a lifetime platinum member so I go to a lot of Marriotts. I've got to say the staff here (especially Lala) were extremely friendly and informative. I didn't have my hearing aids in and she patiently told me twice all the information I needed to know for my stay. The room was great, but then I expect that of a Marriott. Thanks."
"I was at this hotel for an extended stay and they were a great second home. Everything was very clean, all the staff was nice and super helpful, the rooms are nice and spacious and have great desks to work at as well as a couch in each room. It is also in a very good location, central to everything in Ocala."

"The absolute highlight of our stay and best asset to this hotel is their manager, Kevin. AKA, Kevin 'till Eleven, when his shift ends. He offered a sincere and warm welcome right away, as if we were old friends and leaving, I feel we are! He made our stay a true pleasure by accommodating our every need and question, offering helpful info about the property and my Bonvoy advantages. He truly showed that Marriott is grateful for their guests and rewards our brand loyalty. When I wandered down looking for a cup of hot tea at 10:30 pm, he unlocked the kitchen and went back to fetch me piping hot water, knowing that's a tea lovers' dream. I was about to send my husband to the gas station so we BOTH appreciated his help. In regards to the property: I'll preface this by saying to remember you are in Ocala. We are here because it's a simpler, more laid back place. so keep in mind that new and shiny is harder to come by. This floor plan is great for families with a large and well equipped full kitchen, waiting coffee, coffee pot, tea bags, etc. The living room furniture is sparse and not exactly comfortable but serviceable. I'm typing this from bed because it's more pleasant. Each room has an attached full bath and closet, granite in baths and kitchen, decent pillows and bedding on a softer (and I'm guessing older) mattress. Pool and small but hot whirlpool are open until ten and there are fire pits with cozy outdoor furniture. They could do a deeper clean on the units, the bath floor grout is in desperate need of pro cleaning. Overall, I'd stay here again for the price and perks of Bonvoy. Prepare for some road noise, you are right off the highway yet close to so much. We stopped at Sam's Club right across the street on the way in, everything is very convenient but not exactly picturesque or relaxing."
"We stopped at the Residence Inn in Ocala for one night. From the moment we walked in, we were treated to an over the top experience. Kevin (funny and wonderful) greeted us warmly as Marriott members, gave us an upgrade automatically, told us about the mixer later that evening, and answered all our questions. I would go out of my way to stay there again. All the staff members are friendly and professional. Thank you for making us feel at home."
"Reluctantly we needed to stay one night in a hotel prior to renting a vacation house for a week. The hotel staff all wore masks and hotel rooms were super clean. Breakfast was already filled into individual to go bags so no people loitering in lobby. And no one touching anything unnecessarily. "

"I have stayed at many hotels during the COVID crisis (due to my job) and this one was by far the most caring and invested in the safety of its customers. If you care about your safety and health, I cannot recommend staying at this location enough. Right when you walk in, there is a touch-free, automatic hand sanitizer dispensing machine by the front desk. The front desk employee (I think her name is Sarah?) wears gloves and a mask (covering both nose and mouth) and uses hand sanitizer before checking you in. She was wearing nitrile gloves, which is great for people with latex allergies and the gloves had long cuffs that covered her sleeves about half way up her forearm. Breakfast - Unlike most hotels I stayed in (who were holding free-for-all buffets with no safety measures), this hotel conducted breakfast in a very safe manner. Breakfast assortment is set up behind the front desk. The front desk lady prepares a to-go bag based on your order and changes her gloves between each customer. The selection was a choice between 2 hot breakfast sandwiches (Jimmy dean pre-wrapped which I appreciated safety-wise), apple, danish, muffin, breakfast bars, bottled fruit juices and coffee. I thought the breakfast was a great balance between choice/taste and safety - no worries about who is touching/coughing on the food and you still get a hot breakfast with other items. I highly commend the front desk employee and the hotel on this method - I think other hotels should model their practice. This hotel appears to be brand new too - whoever designed it was very thorough in thinking about utility. in the room - lots of usb and three-prong outlets. For international travelers, there were also two outlets that are compatible with any plug head type. The sheets and comforter were very soft. I also liked the 2 pillow types. Everything felt of premium quality and exceeds what is normally expected of a chain hotel. I have stayed in much higher end brands and the materials and equipment this Holiday Inn Express uses by far beats them. I did not use the gym or the pool during my stay. I must say that the gym looked huge and was outfitted with a lot of different machines, weights, balls and bands. Overall, I was super impressed with this Holiday Inn Express. Its was clear that the owner/operator was dedicated and invested a lot of money, time, and thought in building the hotel, and in keeping customers safe during COVID. I only stayed for one night stop but I would not hesitate to come again and would recommend this location to anybody."
"We drove to Ocala for a friend’s funeral and after 14 hours on the road, this hotel room was just the ticket for a good night’s sleep. The comfy bed and the amount of room we had was a welcomed sight. The location is great - it’s busy, but the hotel is right off the interstate and has plenty of great restaurants nearby. The Paddock Mall is just a few miles away, too. The room was just perfect for our two-night stay. The bathroom was nicely done with a large shower and even a small footrest inside the shower to make shaving your legs easier! Only complaint about the bathroom was that the light behind the mirror is very bright...great for putting on makeup, but super bright when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. The window shades definitely blocked the lights in the evenings and made for a great sleep. The bed was comfy and we loved the outlets in the nightstand and the low lights around the headboard. Our favorite touch though was the luggage bench and hooks on the wall! It was genius because I never find a good place to put my suitcase or purse, etc. It was just perfect. The staff was friendly in the few interactions I had with them. One of the elevators was out of service for part of our stay, which was good because that specific one made a few noises that left me uneasy. The hotel did serve a hot breakfast and I noticed that the gym was available but you had to get a key from the front desk. All in all, it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again when in Ocala."
"I’m so glad we stayed here! Everything was super clean and the beds, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating and it was exactly what we needed and wanted. I didn’t realize how close this hotel is to everything-it’s only about a mile from SR 200 which has tons of restaurants and stores. "

"I travel weekly for my property management company. I have stayed in Hilton’s, Hampton Inns, Comfort Inns ext and this place ALWAYS gets my return business. The remodeled rooms are above and beyond. Step in showers with amazing shower heads. Complementary stress relief Bath and Body Works has this girl over the moon pleased. The beds make the Omni look like a joke. The staff are amazing and always ready to assist with anything. (Thanks Jeanette) All around this is my go to and I promise you, you will not be disappointed."
"Your night receptionist,Linda, was super helpful. I was traveling with my 87 year old Mom and she made sure we had a room close as possible to the parking and in the ground floor. I would definitely recommend your establishment to anyone traveling through the area! Clean, safe, super great staff and terrific experience!"
"I recently stayed at the Equus Hotel and had a great experience. The hotel was extremely clean, maintained very well and the gentleman, Kyle, that helped at the front desk was very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Looking forward to my next stay!"

"On March 3rd, 2020, I placed a reservation for this hotel, Holiday Inn Ocala Conference Center, for 1 room with 3 guests for March 6th, 2020 to March 8th, 2020 via the IHG website for $368.90, at the IHG Rewards Club Members Rate. I placed the names of the additional guests on the reservation as well. The additional guests arrived before me on March 6th, 2020. The front desk receptionist allowed them to check-in since their names were listed on the room. In order for them to check-in, the receptionist had one of them change the credit card on file to be his own. However, the receptionist failed to tell him that he was not having him sign for the rate that I booked the room for but a higher rate at a total cost of $435.50. The reservation form that the receptionist had him sign with the newer rate had my name and credit card information on the form. Upon my arrival, I went to the front desk to check-in, not knowing the additional guests arrived before me and were allowed to check-in since I had listed their names in the "additional guests" field. I asked if the receptionist needed me to sign for anything since I was the primary guest and he said no. On Sunday March 8th, I found the bill under the door and noticed the higher rate we were being charged. Since one if the other guests was now the one with his credit card on file for the room, he went down to get the bill rate fixed. The receptionist refused since he has signed that reservation form with the higher rate. The other guest refused to pay the higher rate and came back upstairs to our room. During that time, the receptionist charged his credit card for our stay. We called IHG to discuss the issue with them. They opened an IHG Case. They told us that the hotel should honor the booked rate and that they would contact the hotel and we should hear back within 30 minutes. We never received a call. So we called IHG back again and they contacted the hotel again and said we would received a call within 48 hours. We still received no call. We then opened a dispute with the Capital One Credit Card company. In their challenge to the credit card dispute, they said "Guest [insert my name here] sign registration card". This was a false statement since I would be "Guest [insert my name here]" and I did not sign the registration card. The receptionist checked in a "additional guest" of "Guest [insert my name here]." They also said "Guest prepaid reservation for 2 night." This was also a false statement. If the room was prepaid, then there would not have been an issue as there would be no change of "
"The hotel lobby is huge and decor has a nice tropical feel. Makes you feel like you are truly in Florida. Room was very clean and beds extremely comfortable. Hotel has an award winning restaurant on the top floor called sky. Had a lamb shank that was absolutely amazing. My 3 day stay was excellent. Even though on the surface the hotel seemed dated it's actually a cool feel. The staff really makes the difference. Everyone we encountered was super nice. Southern hospitality at its finest. "
"This hotel had beautiful decor and furniture that caught my eye as soon as I walked in. The staff was very welcoming and my room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of options and was very well done. I wasn't able to take advantage of the convenient restaurant as it was late when I arrived, but I heard nothing but great things about it and will definitely try it next time I'm passing through the area. Definitely a rare gem to find in Ocala."
