"I have stayed at this Home2 multiple times over the past few years. The customer service is always consistently great. No complaints. Noah R. and Natasha must be training their people very well! Thank you to Amy, Lacey and Stephanie. There are a couple more people that I had to keep calling back during the booking process for multiple rooms - you all handled my changes, needs and wants like a champ!"
"I stay here for business. Out of the other Hilton properties in the area this is by far my favorite. After experiencing a terrible stay at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street I was able to call Home2 and reserve a room to check in to the very next day. They alwasy accommodate my changing schedule and do their best to make me feel at home. Great place. Highly recommended. "
"We were in town for a cheer competition. We were able to check in early so my daughter could get ready. The rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed in a suite and there was plenty of room for 5 adults , a child & baby. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Evansville! "

"Perfectly-run RI with all you normally expect from Marriott – except of course what’s impacted by the virus woes: Grab ‘n Go breakfast bag (fruit, muffin, water bottle), no coffee in the lobby (Keurig in your room and plenty more if you need them, just ask), fitness room by appointment (free weights, water dispenser, lots of towels). Thank you, GM Andrew, for the Titanium upgraded room, we enjoyed the extra space and bathroom in the 2-Bedroom (Queens only)/2-Bath Suite with screened windows that open for a breeze. P.S. GM Andrew is a real rarity: you’ll see him all over the property, making sure everything is running smoothly, you’ll see him at the desk at the crack of dawn, you’ll see him if you drop something in the elevator checking in and he gets it to your room. He should be GM of the Year for Marriott!"
"Traveling on business, we had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn Evansville East. Andrew, Dane and the rest of the staff were so accommodating with any requests. The hotel was quiet, location was excellent near the freeway, breakfasts were tasty, and manager’s mixers in the evening were welcoming. The full kitchen was in excellent condition and allowed us to eat in. In room desk was wide for my computer equipment and well equipped with outlets and fast wifi was available. 5 stars!! "
"Clean, comfortable room with added bonus-air purifier. Pool and whirlpool were great. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was the highlight- very good variety and quality. Easy check-in. Took a walk around the nearby lake - very nice. Ate at nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant and visited Angel Mounds nearby. Shopping area was also available close by. A nice visit. "

"Came to play while in town overnight. We walked from the Doubletree, and it was a nice walk-felt safe. Given that entertainment is few and far between during COVID, I was very impressed with the steps they have taken to keep patrons safe and still keep their staff working. Spacing was clearly indicated at table games, and every other slot machine was turned off so you could be distanced from other players. Sanitizing wipes were everywhere, and I saw staff cleaning games and surfaces regularly. Masks are required unless you are actively drinking or smoking, and this is enforced. You cannot walk around with your drink and have your mask off- you must be seated. The only downside is that they do not have any food option aside from the little cafe at the entrance, which basically serves hot dogs and hamburgers, nachos, chips and sodas. The quality is that of a movie theater. Note that if you visit the cafe, you essentially exit the gaming floor, and to return you have to go through screening again. We did enjoy a few cocktails from the main bar, and staff was courteous and happy to serve. No sitting at the bar however. It's not Vegas or Biloxi, but it was a fun evening."
"Covid changes the world and changes the way we entertain The Casino is open and very different experience now The games more limited but still fun At table they provide mask and you will have fun The cost at tables has increased abit still great place to spend a day with friends"
"We stayed here its week of November the hotel room was fine, but no coffee maker and no glassware in room . The resort charges a $17. resort fee on top of your room rate. Keep in mind there was no open pool no fitness room open no coffee and no glassware in room and to top it all off no ice machines all in the name of COVID. Also no daily housekeeping we were only there one night so that was no big deal.. But if the hotel is going to remove all the amenities it should remove the extra fee it charges. We have traveled elsewhere over the last six months and have not seen the reductions of services this severe and then to be charged extra for services that are not available that is outrageous. The casino services were also reduced no drink service and many closed machines, We will probably avoid the the Tropicana Evansville until they either remove the fee or restore the services they are charging for and not delivering. We are senior travelers who typically travel 8-10 weeks a year."

"Hotel was very clean, and very spacious! The beds and pillows were fantastic. My only complaint is they have a police officer sitting in the lobby on Friday and Saturday nights to control the noise from kids (from ball tournaments). Seems strange to me. Scared a lot of the kids. I don’t necessarily think that’s a good idea. I know we won’t stay again because of this and we have stayed at the hotels that are literally next door to this hotel and they don’t do this. Plus we had to ask what the officer was there for. We were concerned that maybe there was a viable threat of some sort that we weren’t made aware of. She said they have him there EVERY Friday and Saturday. Also, who pays for the city police officer? The other hotels right by there don’t have one. So if you are going for baseball or softball, stay next door. For the kids sake. Just disturbing. Rooms were great though!"
"I cant say anything negative about this hotel! My husband and I enjoyed our stay.Staff are extremely polite ,very clean hotel, the breakfast buffet was amazing! There was such a variety and food tasted amazing.I believe the staff names were Roger &Betty-so friendly and made sure the food area was clean and neat and stocked!!!!Fresh coffee and cookies offered at walk-in.The hotel was very inviting,The wkend we stayed there happen to be a bus of kids-high school /college? and the staff had no problem accomodating such large crowd!king bed was very comfortable, large tv and kureg in room for fresh coffee. We will definately stay again."
"I’m here for business and this Holiday Inn express is the nicest one that I’ve ever stayed at. The property looks brand new in every way. They even had an evening reception for guests which I’ve never seen at an IHG property before."

"Traveling with my wife and 15 month old son on a weekend trip. We had a suite reserved so our son could have room to play. Check in was great. We were met with a warm welcome by the front desk agent. I had the key in less than a minute and we were headed up to the room. I opened the door and we were hit with a stench of strong cigarette smoke. A deal breaker for my family. We turned right around and headed right back to the front desk to get another room. I informed the attendant of the issue and his response was that they don’t allow smoking in the hotel. The previous occupants obviously didn’t care about that policy. He did a quick search and told me there were no more suites available but offered us a regular room instead. We declined and our money was refunded without any issue. The conspiracist in me thinks that they sold that room last because they were aware of the smoke but I don’t have any proof to back that up so I won’t hold it against the management. Otherwise, the hotel seemed nice and we prefer Hilton properties and will stay at their hotels in the future. It was however unfortunate that we were ready to rest after a long drive and had taco John’s in hand ready to eat."
"This is a great hotel! We have stayed at other hotels in this area and they are not as clean or as updated as this one. The room was large, very clean and it looks to be rather new. We were asked at check-in about which floor we wanted. We had a view of the small lake in the front. The bathroom is large enough and updated. It was a tub with a shower curtain, but it was easy to get in and had a safety bar inside. There is a small bar in the lobby with a large assortment of drinks and there is someone in the kitchen in the afternoon and evening. In the morning, there is free coffee and a buffet for $9.99 that includes freshly cooked to order eggs. Parking is close and free. Good value!"
"I love this hotel its really beautiful, little shop in the lobby for drinks and snacks and the employees are so very friendly, Very big pool, loved the pool and hot tube, the fitness center. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We Needed to make a quick trip down south to deliver some things to our daughter. Evansville was on the way and by a huge stroke of luck, we made a reservation at Fairfield Inn East Evansville....and we are so glad we found out about this hotel. At check in, the desk girls and their manager about fell over themselves taking care of us and making us feel welcome. Our room was lovely and even in the midst of the pandemic, everything felt clean. In the morning, we went downstairs for a nice breakfast. It was not just a granola bar either. Whoever designed and planned the breakfast knew what they were doing.....even in covid time. While we ate at the table with a clean sign to let us know that it was clean.....the staff was busy cleaning elevator buttons, tables, snack dispensers, etc.......We loved our stay, and are so glad we found out about how well this hotel is managed...because we intend to be back on another trip. This hotel should be a model for the whole chain to follow. Thank you all!"
"This was my second stay and I was pleased to see they are remodeling. It needed a fresh new look. We stayed in a remodeling room with the walk-in shower. Lots of plugs for our gadgets. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Area is safe with lots of restaurants around. It’s reasonably priced and what I expect from a Fairfield."
"Went for a National Soccer Tournament with my son and his team. The breakfast was nice, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and I was surprised by the quietness of our room, as we were close to the mechanical room. Overally, definitely a place that I would appreciate staying again."

"I was staying at this hotel because we had stayed there about five years back and it was a wonderful experience. This time we were there due to a death in the family and it seems the hotel was dying as well. My room seemed nice at first but I was exhausted as I had worked all day a then drive 4 hours to get to Evansville so my mother and I could have a full day with family before the funeral services for her oldest brother on Friday. We checked in at 11:30 pm on 8/5/2020. And I didn’t notice a few things until morning. I use a Cpap machine and could not get any of the bedside outlets to work. So I pulled the nightstand out to reach the direct outlet and I I found a baby’ bottle that still had milk in it underneath. After I awoke and went to the bathroom I noticed then the toilet had smudges of something on it. I reported all my complaints to the front desk when I grab my breakfast as my mom and I were leaving to spend the day with family. The lady at the desk was the same lady who checked me in the night before. She said my room would be addressed before I return for the night. We returned at 10:30 on 8/6/2020, and my room was not cleaned. Songs went back to the front desk to complain. This time there were two young men at the desk. They apologized and found me a new room and issued me a. $20.00 credit for my last two nights. I was originally in room 139 and got moved to 325. And it was nicer. My mom on their other hand stayed in her original room 129. However my mom had som issues with her thermostat and could not get her room warm enough and they come to fix it at 1:30 in the morning and were I there for an hour and still could not get it as comfortable as she wanted. So she attended my uncle’s funeral half asleep and with a head cold. This made for a very long day. I will say that we checked out on 8/8/2020 and we will not be staying at that hotel again. Also the hotel discounts for AARP and the government/military rates are nothing and even the bereavement rates seem steep. Five years ago I got a better rate with my military discount than I did even with the $20 off the bereavement rate this time. Only gave it one, because it was not a happy trip and the hotel was not my idea of a restful time when we were there."
"We arrived late after a long day of driving. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was high, the AC was a blessing given how hot it was outside, it was clean, we had no pet fee for our dog. For a night stay, a stop and go onour journey, I was quite pleased."
"We booked our room here because we had stayed here before. Since our last visit, the place has run down. The folks are friendly, the price was fair. The beds appeared clean. The room is tight, the bathroom is tiny and the carpets need to be replaced. It looks tired and worn. The breakfast is average, the coffee is good. We will look for another hotel for our next visit."

"The check in was easy and the rooms clean and nice. The breakfast was mediocre the first morning and worse the 2nd morning. I know it had to be different due to COVID-19 however it was still terrible factoring that in. The first morning the choices were muffing (2 flavors), pastry (2 flavors), cereal bar (3 flavors), fruit (2 choices), yogurt (2 flavors) and milk, juice or water. The fruit was pathetic. Brown bananas, shriveled oranges, my son said the apples were old and tasteless. The pre-packaged pastry was terrible. Son stated the muffins were ok. I received a text from the hotel asking how things were. I mentioned missing the lobby coffee as the room coffee not the same quality. I stated the fruit was in very poor shape. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. I received a response the coffee was the first thing they were looking to bring back in Covid times and would look into the fruit situation. Breakfast only went downhill from there. The next morning they had 1 flavor of muffin and 1 flavor of pastry. No water at all (just juice or milk). The fruit was clearly yesterdays fruit because everything looked way worse. A basket of rotting fruit! If I hadn't had yesterday's text conversation maybe if would have been understandable. Disgusting. I asked if they had the other flavor of muffins or pastry or WATER but front desk said what was out was what they had. These are apocalyptic surviving baked goods (prepackaged to last forever) . No reason not to have a selection especially given it's our only breakfast choice, it's not like you can't use them later! Staff remained friendly with extra coffee and cups for the room. The pool policy was confusing. To reduce the number of people you had to sign up with the number of people and social distance (makes sense). Our team signed up for a 90 minute block and we split the team in 2 to remain within the guidelines but they had others who signed up not in our party so it was really a free for all. I don't mind the policy but if you are going to have a policy you should enforce it. Or just skip it all together and make the pool any time use. The work out room was clean and well maintained."
"I am a Hilton Rewards member and I've stayed in Evansville before usually in the Evansville east area. This trip I was actually flying out of Evansville and wanted a hotel close to the airport since I had an early flight the next day. This location hit the things I was looking for on my checklist, close to the airport, great reviews, and affordable. I didn't spend to much time checking out the hotel as I went to Evansville Crossfit for a workout (It's right around the corner) and I was going into town to eat. My room was large clean and well kept. I had no issues with wifi, I got a good night sleep, it was quiet and I had plenty of hot water in the morning. What more could you ask for? Everything was great. The only concern I had is that there were no USB ports to plug into but there were electrical outlets. No big deal since I was only there for one night. Hey, if you're there for one or two nights it's perfect."
"As Hilton Diamond members we've stayed at their various brands all over the country. Even during the virus there's been some necessary travel for business, as well as to just get away from people. We've heard the words,"because of covid" way to many times as to why amenities aren't being offered. Like to thank the Hampton Inn Evansville Airport for not being one of them. At least they add, we're not able to offer our usual hot breakfast BUT we'll have a nice spread out for you to put together a box. To other Hilton franchisees... was that, that hard?"
