"My husband and I were visiting my sister who lives in the Valley. We stayed three nights during the week in July. Check in was easy. Greeni checked us in, and she was really friendly. She even let us check in about an hour and a half early since the room was ready. The hotel and our room were very modern, and I loved the art and decor! We had a room on the fourth floor. Our room was very neat and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and the bed sheets were very soft. We paid for premium wifi (though regular wifi is free), and it was quick enough for what we needed it for. The tv channels were plenty although I wish there was an actual guide to tell you what is on at that time. The walls are kinda thin, so you can hear people opening and closing doors out in the hall quite easily. The hotel is off from the road, so noise traffic is pretty much non-existent. The black out blind is amazing, and it kept the room dark all morning until we decided to open it. I will say that the snack area by the front desk is very overpriced. My husband bought a Dr Pepper, and I bought a Smart Water. Together, it came to $12.99 for just those two items! Later, I bought a small bag of chips and an individual thing of salsa which came to $7. I know hotel's charge more, but this was definitely the most priciest! At one point, I noticed I had been charged twice for the incidentals fee hold. I went down to the front desk and was assisted by Fabian. Fabian was really nice, and he got it taken care of quickly. He was always saying hello each time I'd see him. Jayson was another FDA who was also very nice and friendly. Jayson and Fabian helped us find a restaurant to get food from when it was after 11pm on a Sunday. Greeni checked us out the day we left, and again, she was really lovely and nice. The two housekeeping ladies I saw were also really nice. One thing I didn't like was that the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are all in squeeze bottles hanging on the wall. They pour out incredibly slowly while squeezing them. Plus, it's really hard to squeeze if you have arthritis in your hands or just pain in your hands. Be prepared to squeeze for awhile if you have long hair and if you want enough soap for your whole body. The soaps do smell nice though. Breakfast was from 6am until 9am each morning. The first morning of our stay, my husband went down and got himself a coffee. They had sausage biscuits, cereal, and a few other things. The next morning, he went down around 8am, but all the food was gone, so I guess it's best to get there before 8am to ensure you get breakfast. We didn't do breakfast the other mornings. I liked how this hotel has a pool table for people to play as well as board games in the lobby. I thought that was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this Tru hotel. The staff are very down to Earth, and I just love the ambiance of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the Valley."
"Tru is a more basic Hilton property, but this one has everything one needs for an overnight visit and is exceptionally clean. I love their environmental soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers. It’s interesting to see the reviews complaining about the blinds. Like most hotels, there is a sheer blind and a blackout blind. With the latter closed, I slept in until 9:30 in total darkness!"
"My family of 4 stayed for the weekend at this location, staff was friendly, place was clean, and beds were comfortable. The pool table and lobby games made it a great kid friendly environment. We would definitely stay again. "
