"The facility is very elegant and modern. The staff are very efficient and friendly. I have been to a few events and had my own wedding there and every experience has been above and beyond. The hotel rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The food is delicious and several guests at my wedding said it was the best chicken they ever had! Erika, the event coordinator, is very friendly and professional who paid great attention to detail which made planning our wedding easy and fun. The only con is the top floor of hotel is only accessible by stairs limiting anyone with difficulty with mobility. The main floor rooms do have elevator access however. Over all my lasting impression is a great space to host an event and very comfortable rooms with unforgettable food!"
"My girlfriend and I went to Moncton for the day/night. We had a relaxing weekend planned went to a spa for the day. After our day out we headed back to the hotel to get changed, the room was clean, spacious and moder, and the bed was very comfortable. Later that evening we went downstairs for supper and got a few appetizers to share, all were very delicious. The service was on point and our server provided some great drink and food suggestions. We left the restaurant at around 10pm and went up stairs to the room to relax. We went upstairs there was live music in the conference room which shared a wall with our room. The music was quite loud in the room which was fine it was only early. Out of curiosity my girlfriend went out to the desk to ask when the music went until and the girl told her 11pm. That was great we had no intentions to go to sleep right away anyways. Come 11pm the music stopped and not long after the band downstairs started it, songs could be heard very clearly in our room. I got out to go out to the front desk, no one was there but there was a sign saying call down to the bartender for assistance. I called down but no answer of course. So I went back in and we tried to sleep but it was impossible between the band and people shouting outside. 2am comes around the band stops everyone starts to leave things are quiet and we finally fall asleep. 5am comes around and we are awoken by loud bangs. The cleaning crew came in downstairs and were dragging tables and chair around cleaning the floor. Safe to say we didn’t get much sleep that night. It was not our usual weekend away because usually we would be out drinking until 2am and would have came back and passed out, in which case it wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. It’s a shame such a beautiful boutique hotel is so loud. Lesson learned a hotel above a bar is probably not the best place to spend a relaxing weekend."
"When I booked the room, I was not advised of an additional parking fee NOR were we advised that the room was directly above a loud bar. We had booked this room for a quiet escape, and truthfully should have probably been more concerned when we checked in and saw earplugs on our bedside tables!!! We understand that it is more of a profit for their organization to have a live band in a bar on a Saturday night than to rent out one room, but potential customers SHOULD be advised upon booking, we would NOT have booked this room if we had known that we would be listening to an in house band (we could actually make out all of the vocals, it is that loud and clear) until 2 am!!!! The drunken fight at 2:30 am directly outside our room, caused by inebriated customers leaving the pub, was a frightening experience as again, we could hear EVERY word. Finally, when the fight was broken up and all settled - and we thought we could get some sleep - the restaurant/pub staff started their clean up, dragging chairs and tables across the floors. Again, we heard everything - and the provided earplugs were not even close to adequate. The slatted blinds (and decorative curtain panels- of which 2 were missing) did not help to block out light or noise either. Finally, we parked in the parking garage across the street which was apparently free on Saturday and Sunday. We did not, at anytime, have to ask for the use of a parking card. Imagine, then, my surprise to see that I have been charged $10.00 to park!!! If I would have had to pay to exit, I can see the reason for the charge - but as it stands, we were charged to park in a lot that was free on the weekend! Even if we had used the parking pass, I would think that given the fact that they subject their weekend guests to loud bar music, not charging them for parking would be ONE potential accommodation! The room was tastefully decorated and clean, it would have been a lovely escape and there is potential for a very nice boutique hotel worth $200 a night. HOWEVER, to not advise customers at the time fo booking of the very loud bar beneath it, to cheap out by not including noise/light reducing curtains, to charge for free parking and also provide a very minimal breakfast (individually wrapped Otis Spunkmeyer/gas station muffins when they have an attached onsite full kitchen facility?!!) - this room/experience was NOT worth a boutique hotel price. I wrote to the hotel management to express my concerns before posting this review and they have not responded. I have since read other reviews online with the same complaint about the noise, etc. Obviously, the comfort of their hotel guests is not a concern over the money they make running a bar until 2 AM. STAY AWAY!"

"Always a great hotel, staff is nice, rooms are always cleaned, breakfast is really good, beds are really comfortable and when you book in advance, they have great prices. Only thing I didn't like this time was a dog that has been left in the room while his master went for breakfast. The dog barked and scraped the door for like 20-30 minutes non-stop at 8 in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I love pets, and i'm happy that there is a few hotels that accept them. I just mentioned this in my review to advise customers to book a room on floors without pets if they want to relax in the morning and avoid a situation like that. I still highly recommend this hotel and will surely go back."
"Very nice property. The rooms were very clean and well supplied. We had a nice view of the outdoor skating rink. Underground parking was an added bonus but a little bit tricky to get around with a larger vehicle. We stayed there the night before we left for the airport, and we were impressed with this hotel and stayed again on the night we returned from our vacation. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again."
"Needed a getaway and an opportunity to visit Hopewell Rocks. Took a chance on this place and were delighted! It was beautiful and extremely clean, staff was great. During all this Covid pandemic it was nice to see a facility take such great caution with guests and provide excellent care. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, bathroom was great. We will be back!"

"We picked this hotel because it offered breakfast. On our last day, we would be flying 13 hrs with tight connections, and didn't think we would get another chance to eat. This breakfast was not anything like we were expecting. The "entrees" looked like a half a piece of toast with Gouda and half a slice of tomato. The other option appeared to be a half slice of toast with jam. Other treats included quiche cup, about the size of a sliver dollar, a mini muffin, and what appeared to be a small egg dish. I normally stay at the Crown Plaza, with a full breakfast buffet, and will return there next time. We didn't eat here, and instead we took our chance at what we could get at the airport. I had a reservation for Wednesday night, and we were going to able to get in a day early. While waiting to board at the Toronto airport, I called the front desk to add a day to my reservation. The attendant told me he couldn't find my reservation, and to go online and book it. I told him I had no internet connection, couldn't he use my Hilton Honors number and book the room. He said let him call me back in 5 minutes, and as I expected, no such call happened. I was able to make a quick call to Hilton 800 as I boarded and got the room booked. We showed up as scheduled at 1:40 am, and my traveling companion's room had been given out to someone else (we were booked for late arrival). NO big deal we thought, but they were unable to book another room for the same price. They asked him to sit down "for about 20 mins" while they figured out how to do this. I insisted that they give him a room. They agree, went up, let him in a room, and told him they would put his key under the door. The next morning, no key. We did encounter Grace at the front desk the next morning that got all this figured out. Thanks Grace! The room was nice, bed and pillows were comfortable. Except for the desk attendant I encountered on the phone, the staff was nice, if not well trained. The building was convenient to downtown restaurants. Primarily due to the lack of a morning breakfast, I'll be staying elsewhere on my next visit to Moncton."
"I had not stayed in a hotel from this line of the Hilton family of hotels, but I came away impressed. It's modern, clean, and I liked the minimalist design look very much. We stayed in a two level suite, which was pretty spectacular; one wall was two stories of glass (with an automatic blind you could lower to keep out the sun or for privacy). Not all the rooms are like that, of course. Location is really great, right in the heart of downtown, so you can walk to everything. Many of the other hotel options in Moncton are not nearly so central. When I return to Moncton in the future, I will try to stay here."
"We stayed at the Canvas Moncton overnight with 5 other couples. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. Beds are super comfy. Parking is very easy to access, especially for a downtown location. We ate at the restaurant, Gahaan. Really good food and great service. Would absolutely recommend this motel and restaurant!! "
