"Breakfast is very good, bread and fruit juice buffet, as well as a pure English breakfast, free order, taste very good! Drinking tea to tea cups is very exquisite, a breakfast out of a holiday feel! A family of three, asked if they would like an extra bed when they arrive at the hotel? We didn't add it, so we gave us the largest double bed room. The room was not as soundproof as the comment said. Very quiet, right next to the suspension bridge. This is also the hotel we were most satisfied with for a month in Bristol!"
"The environment is good, some people say it is noisy, but it is not noisy on the third floor by the suspension bridge. The hotel also gave me a room with a superking bed. Breakfast is also good, optional cooked"
"Excellent value for money."

"The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel"

"Very historic hotel, the reception is very warm, unlike other hotels, the rooms are not distinguished by numbers, but the names of people, such as mine is a famous wine brewer, the only drawback is that it is easy to get lost."
"I feel OK."

"So the booking was easy, hotel and staff excellent BUT detailed on trip.com it indicates this hotel has a spa, sauna and pool. This information is out of date and once booked you cannot cancel - a real bummer if you booked the hotel because of those amenities, as I did. I advise checking trip adviser or another indepedent review site before booking. On notifying trip.com of this they did not acknowledge this error in representation and basically said I cannot cancel without negotiating with the hotel itself. This is disappointing and poor customer service in my opinion. I also tried to speak using the trip.com VoIP - useless operator with no idea what they were doing. Come on trip.com, its 2020, it's easy to sort this type of error out, and prevent it, but ignoring it is not what anyone would expect from such an organisation. "
"Old-fashioned hotel, the hardware is decent, and the service doesn't have to be said. The little brother at the front desk didn't read my English well. While explaining slowly, he wrote down important information to me on the note paper. The hotel delivered breakfast, and the taste and service were very good. Well, a very handsome waiter chats with my young daughter passionately and encourages her to communicate with others in English. The hotel location is very good, just next to the temple, five minutes walk to the University of Bristol, near the pier behind the hotel, there are many Bars to sit on, not far from the famous warehouse museum and the British steam ship, within walking distance ."
"Came to the hotel by car. The hotel is very beautiful. Children were not considered when booking, temporary children (14 years old) joined at check-in. There is no extra charge, and an extra breakfast is free of charge. Twin room with large bed. Hotel parking fee, 17 pounds, very convenient. The hotel's breakfast is rich and the scenery outside the window is unique."

"Very old hotel, next to the church cemetery. But this is very common in the UK, it doesn't matter. But the bath towel in my room was dirty, with a few large stains on it, which made people worry about the sanitary condition of the hotel. In addition, the rooms are relatively dated. Summary: It's good to take pictures, but the hygiene is not good."
"Surrounded by a golf course, the hotel is an old-fashioned building with a swan in the water. The environment is really nothing to say."
"Suitable for self-driving, beautiful scenery, desolate surroundings"

"Very good hygiene, good location, convenient to go everywhere, the room is filled with alcohol every day, free to drink, the heated stainless steel shelf in the bathroom is very practical, you can dry clothes such as bath towels, towels, etc. The Uber driver communicated and was very friendly."
"This hotel is very close to the shopping center, and it is just a few minutes away. The hotel is quiet, there are various snacks to choose from, and the health is very good. There are also gyms, hot springs and swimming pools to go to."

"We booked The Aztec the day before our stay as a last minute treat to ourselves, having not been away at all since March and feeling desperate for a change of scenery and a bit of fun. The booking was made through Secret Escapes, and we opted for the package with dinner included. On arrival at the hotel we felt that the reception staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, and were allocated a Lakeside room, which was lovely as it had a little balcony and a nice view. Had we been given one of the rooms looking out over the main road we might not have been as happy! The room was large, with a little living area, and we liked the fact that there was fresh milk and cold drinking water available just out in the corridor. The room was reasonably clean, and despite normally struggling to sleep when away from home we both slept really well! My only niggles were that the pillows were tiny and the room was quite hot even with the heating turned off and the balcony door open. We went down to dinner and were welcomed by a lovely member of staff - we didn't get her name, but she was very helpful, answered any questions we had about the food and drinks, and was chatty, cheerful and polite. We had some nibbles while we decided what to order - crevettes and olives - which were lovely, and opted for crab cake to start, which we were really impressed with. I chose fish and chips for my main and my partner had the slow cooked ox cheek. Both meals were hot, tasty and made with good quality ingredients, and there was certainly plenty of food! We didn't have room for dessert. The whole dining experience was a real treat for us - we are self-confessed foodies, and couldn't fault any of it. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely too. Breakfast was also a pleasant experience, and staff were again very helpful and happy. The food itself was not fantastic, but nothing specifically wrong with it, we just felt that perhaps some of the cooked breakfast ingredients were not of great quality. We booked in advance to use the pool after check out and were impressed with the quality of the whole facility and how clean and well looked after it all was, without feeling as though the environment was clinical or over santised. We had a lovely hour using the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and relaxing poolside. Perfect end to our time away. We would definitely book again, mainly based on the fact that we felt comfortable and 'at home' in the hotel, and it had a really nice vibe to the whole place - nice enough to feel like a special treat but not too posh or stuffy."
"We stayed as a treat for my birthday in the premier suite which was even better than expected. Huge room, big comfy bed, well stocked mini fridge and homemade chocolate from the chef! Also the fact there was a choice of bath or shower along with his and hers sinks was just perfect. The only thing I would say is that the shower unit could do with a bit of a mould treatment to make it perfect but again it was far from dirty. The spa itself was well maintained and clean with a lovely area for refreshments. The main bar was lovely especially the wide cocktail menu and real log fire. The only criticism is that there wasn’t really much choice for breakfast but I wouldn’t say it was a major problem. Something that we absolutely loved and thought was a great idea was the fact the hotel have coolers in the corridors and glass bottles so that you are able to have proper milk with your coffee/ tea in the morning, a perfect little touch! We have already booked to come and stay again as we had such a great experience. Thank you Aztec! "
"Just got married here I looked at several options for weddings and chose the Aztec because of its wedding package there is so much to do let the aztec take some of the pressure off and they did the hotel is well run the food is lovely the flowers were amazing they know how to make the most of their rooms the bridal suit is quite stunning it all went so well and relaxed and breakfast in the morning is a serve yourself buffet so all the guest that stayed were very happy the spa is gorgeous did not have time to use it but some of my guest did I would really find it genuinely hard to find a complaint, if I was to be picky it would be it's very busy at weekends with spa weekends so getting appointment for treatment is not as easy as youd like but that is it what a lovely weekend wedding"
