[TL;DR - We were told by JW Jeju that our wedding must be handled by an external planner, “MariK*m Destination Weddings”, even the actual contract for site rental and F&B had to be signed with MariK*m, instead of with JW Jeju directly. However, we later found out that this MariK*m’s instagram pages are filled with photos she stole from other planners and florists around the world. She even captioned the photos in a way that made it sound like she was capable and responsible for all these weddings. We have written proof from these companies confirming that those were in fact, their works, and that they have never worked with any MariK*m. The planner in question, MariK*m Destination Weddings, also handles 1st Baby Birthdays, an important celebration in Korea culture. This wedding was three years in the making and very special to us. International border closures due to Covid made it impossible for our guests to travel to South Korea. Hence, our original wedding date in 2020 got postponed to 2021, then 2022, then finally 2023. Back in 2019, we put down a deposit at our original venue, but by early 2023, they informed us they can no longer accommodate our party size and date changes, so we needed to find a new wedding venue. Our first encounter with JW Jeju was in April 2023. After a site visit and staying one night at the hotel, we decided to that this was the wedding venue we wanted. However, we were told that weddings at JW Jeju are to be handled by an external wedding planner, “MariK*m Destination Weddings”. Even the actual wedding contract must be signed with this MariK*m individual, instead of with JW Jeju directly. We did not like the idea of this because it was the JW brand that we trusted, but went along with it again due to this trust. This was the first red flag that we hoped we put more thought into. Little did we know this was the start of a series of absurd, irresponsible and unprofessional behavior from both MariK*m and JW Jeju. Things took a fast dramatic turn down south once we signed the contract. Most of the time, we had to take the initiative to contact the hotel and MariK*m to keep things moving. Even though we were fully aware that JW Jeju is a brand new hotel, we started noticing more and more red flags that simply could not be overlooked even for a newly opened property. Throughout the planning process, questions and discussions about wedding arrangements were met with slow and generic responses filled with grammatical mistakes. Our only contact

I was really looking forward to it because the reviews were good before I went. It was such a pretty place that I wondered if there was a place like this in Jeju Island...! My husband and I stayed at Vista Suites to heal during the ***** New Year holiday. I especially liked the neat and clean furniture and the comfortable bed. One thing that is disappointing is that there is no handle on the individual bathroom door. It was uncomfortable because you had to pull it narrowly to get out. Still, you can think of this as a level of jade..?? It was pretty during the day and at night, so I took over 100 photos... (Please leave a photo of your life!!) I guess I should go on a filial piety trip with my parents later.

The environment is very ecological and comfortable, the room is large and soundproof, the breakfast options are many, the landscape design and architectural design are strong, the service is friendly, and the nearby museum is also arranged by the hotel for two pick-ups. Family trip, very satisfied, the environment inside the hotel is too beautiful, one step at a time, winter is not inferior at all. Even if there are no convenience stores around, the nearest convenience store has to walk for about 10 minutes. It is super small on the first floor of the International Center. The hotels are all independent rooms. It is particularly inconvenient to rain in the doorway when entering the door. The interior decoration of the room is ok and the air conditioner is not easy to use. Breakfast is semi-buffet, with seaweed soup, abalone porridge, black pork and American set menu. There is bread, salad, fruit, dessert and so on at the salad bar. Let's talk about dinner. It's just a restaurant. It's not very big. There are too few options. It's limited at noon. It's limited at night.

I stayed here for two nights in total and the environment was really good. There is a cafe downstairs in the B&B, as well as a swing and piano facing the sea. It was very impressive. It’s less than a kilometer walk to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and it’s about a 10-minute drive from Seopjikoji. There are also bhc fried chicken, stewed hairtail fish, etc. within walking distance. It is convenient to eat and there are also convenience stores. Let’s talk about the shortcomings. First: they are a B&B, and check-in is in a small lobby. We two girls dragged two large boxes. When we arrived, the guy at the front desk had no intention of helping at all, so we carried them in ourselves. out and carried him to the room on the second floor. Service awareness is approximately equal to 0. Second: Before going to bed at night, I found that the quilt was dirty, which I didn’t accept at all. The B&B lobby was deserted after 7 p.m., so we had to ask Ctrip to help us communicate. The B&B here can only communicate in Korean or English, and they helped around 1 a.m. We changed rooms. Originally we wanted to just change the quilt cover, but the toilet in the room also overflowed a little, so we simply chose to change rooms. It was so cold at night that we quickly packed up all our luggage in five minutes. We sweated in the room and moved to another building. We were blown cold and hot by the cold wind outside and caught a cold the next day🤧. The boy later gave me a bottle of similar soju as compensation, but we didn't take it. Left in the room when checking out. Generally speaking, it's just for this view. After all, it costs more than 1,300 a night, which is far higher than the local average price. Health status and service awareness need to be strengthened.

Amazing!! I do recommend this hotel to everyone. Families, couples, friends whoever!! Interior and exterior are so modern and new plus well maintained. Thoughtful and Smiling staff with luxury swimming pools. Sauna, gowns for outdoor swimming pool are good quality. I will definitely come back :)
