"We recently spent 4 nights in a 1 Bedroom Villa at BCV. Though we are familiar with the accommodations typically offered at Disney’s deluxe properties, this was our first time staying in a DVC room. While I wasn’t sure how I would like BCV, we had a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to return. All of the cast members throughout the resort–front desk, bell services, Beach Club Marketplace, DVC–were ready to welcome guests “back home”, and went out of their way to talk to guests and make sure their stay was perfect. It is clear that Disney is taking COVID seriously and wants their guests to feel completely safe at all times. All cast members were wearing masks, and plexiglass was in place at the front desk and Marketplace. Masks were enforced for guests. The room contained a list of housekeeping’s enhanced cleaning measures, and the TV remotes were wrapped in plastic. Both Stephen and Georgette at the front desk were very kind and helpful. We initially weren't able to get into our room at check-in time due to a housekeeping issue; however, Stephen made sure to add a little extra magic to our stay while the issue was handled, and we were taken care of with the highest level of customer service I’ve ever experienced from Disney. Our 1 Bedroom Villa was a gorgeous space that felt much more like a “home away from home” than a hotel room. The living area featured a small foyer, full kitchen, two sitting areas for eating, a sofa bed, and a washer/dryer. The bedroom included a king bed, desk, and impressive bathroom consisting of three separate rooms- one with a vanity and tub (and huge closet), another with a vanity and walk-in shower, and a third for the toilet. Both rooms had patios, as we were on the first floor. The villa felt classic and comfortable, but included plenty of modern updates such as several USB outlets and two of the largest TVs I’ve seen on Disney property. While some amenities, such as Stormalong Bay and the more upscale dining options, were closed during our stay, we did not feel this was an inconvenience. Between Beaches and Cream, Beach Club Marketplace, and the food offerings open at BoardWalk, we had a solid selection of dining options at our convenience. The pool at BCV was fine for relaxing and cooling down, and we were able to walk over to Luna Park Pool at BoardWalk as well. I would stay at BCV again without hesitation and look forward to returning soon."
"I booked BCV because we planned on doing Epcot for the F&W and we like being able to walk to Epcot. We got to the resort before noon and our room was not ready so we decided to have lunch at Epcot. We received our text that our room was ready around 3 pm. The room was located on the first floor and close to the parking lot. This made it easy to get our luggage from our car. I usually request a higher floor, but I actually loved having a patio to sit on and enjoying my morning coffee. We booked for two nights in the one bedroom villas. Room was very clean and the appliances looked brand new. We like to cook breakfast in the room. Very comfy king size bed. BCV is doing room service. Breakfast & dinner. We ordered dinner one night. Lobster roll and a burger. They call you when they are coming. The resort was very dead. It was weird because we are use to so many people in the lobby and other areas. The DVC pool had one family in it when we walked by and the main pool did not look busy at all. The main store at BC is closed for refurbishment, but they made a temp store across the way. We walked in to buy the Halloween treats. We went to Martha vineyards bar to also try their Halloween drink. They spaced out the seating and we were able to find seating outside. All the cast members were nice in the main lobby, bar and at the Villas. No issues with people not wearing mask. Keep up the great work! Hope to be back soon."
"Just came back from a 5 night vacation at BCV. Had a two bedroom unit. It actually is bigger in person than it looks in pictures. Was able to get a room near the parking lot door, so that really helped carrying stuff to/from the car (albeit we used the elevator for the cooler and large suitcase). Our balcony was super big, but with the heat and humidity, didn't use it much. Had a nice view of Spaceship Earth. Too bad there are no fireworks. Not much staff around, and those that were, didn't seem friendly but I think they were probably just contracted temps to do the cleaning, etc., in other words, I don't think they were vetted cast members. Anyway, the staff at the BC front desk were amazing. Kudos to them. The BC lobby was like a ghost town so that was odd. But boy oh boy, StormAlongBay was amazing with the small attendance. We hung at the pool on our last night and as we passed by Beaches and Cream, it almost felt like old times. That place seemed to be jumping with people hanging around eating ice cream, etc. So that felt good. Felt normal. Felt like "home". All in all, Disney doing a GREAT job with Covid Protection. Please don't hesitate to go down there."

"Words of advice! Traveling during a pandemic is not for the faint at heart. If you are an individual who is struggling with an underlying health condition or not and are nervous my words of advice would be to stay home wait for this to pass do not feel as though you can come to an amusement park that is visited by millions of people and think that you should be given the right to ride a bus alone ride an elevator alone or have people stay 6 feet away from you because it just totally is not realistic. So if you are a person who is freaked out by a pandemic do not visit an amusement park! What I liked about the Yacht Club Spacious and nicely decorated room Coffee bar with Keurig coffee maker Refrigerator Spacious bathroom with two sinks & separate shower/toilet area Smaller than normal Disney resorts which makes it very quiet Within 10 minutes walk to Epcot & the Skyliner which takes you to other resorts & transfer to Hollywood studios Beautiful grounds within walking distance to Beach club and Boardwalk resort Pool area and an additional quiet pool Mobile ordering is amazing if you cannot get a reservation for a restaurant at your resort. We never had any issues placing an order and it’s quickly done and you go pick it up Covid inconveniences at resorts & parks Wearing masks outdoors even when people are not around No firework shows no large parades some restaurants and shops are closed within each park People who are freaked out about the virus yet come to an amusement park and then are upset that you want to ride an elevator with them Even though they allow for adults to an elevator people who are nervous and won’t allow you in the elevator with them! Most of the queues to the rides are held outside if possible I wouldn’t say that’s an inconvenience but if it’s hot or it starts to rain it could pose some issues. They only allow a certain amount of people into shop so you might be waiting in line to get into a gift shop"
"We love the Yacht club, have stayed multiple times but during Covid, unfortunately a lot has changed. We had another short trip to Disney booked for November but I just canceled it. Here's the low down: No boat service at all-walk to HS or take Skyliner but liner take a lot longer Hurricane Hannahs at poolside is not open -well, it serves cold sandwiches through the bar If the pool hits their new capacity level, you will be denied entry Mousekeeping is barely happening-enjoy your wet towels, full trash, no vaccuming or enough toiletries, For 400$ plus a night, I expect a lot more. I want dry towels every day because a lot of times you end up showering twice if you do parks and pool. Food wise, we ate at market place in both resorts and enjoyed sit down meals with no reservation at the lounge called Martha's Vineyard at Beach club-highly recommend. You can do takeout from there as well. Disney parks: no extra magic hours, shortened hours, no fast passes which equals crazy long lines all day long. Cast members constantly policing you about your mask. No eating/drinking while walking. Stand on this dot, stand on this line, don't go here, don't go there. Partitions everywhere, it's claustrophobic in the lines inside the rides. THE MAGIC IS GONE We knew things would be different but we love Disney and needed a get away so we went. Of course we still had some fun but they have done everything possible to take the magic away. Silly, arbitrary rules and all for the full price!! They even make the lifeguards wear masks! It's nuts. So much is missing. It's really sad. We will not be going back until this is all over. Sniff Sniff"
"I stayed over a long weekend and this was my second visit. Now I think I’m hooked on Yacht Club and I don’t know if I would bother staying anywhere else for an adult trip. I had the prettiest corner room with 3 walls of windows that overlooked the lake and I could see the fireworks every night. I think it was the best room you could have. In the distance you could see the Boardwalk and the new Skyliners, which made it feel like Disney. The convenience to Epcot and HS can’t be beat. Taking the boat is the best. I did bus over to AK and a bus just a happened to arrive within 5 min. There were a few problems with the room, unfortunately, but the workers came and fixed them. The air wasn’t running upon arrival and needed maintenance, the safe didn’t work, and the first evening, a terrible smoky smell filled the hallway and my room. I did feel like I was constantly on the phone to the front desk the first day and night. They were friendly and everything was handled and fixed, including the smoky, burning smell that filled the hall. Hoping things aren’t getting run down there because I would love to stay again without frequent maintenance issues. It is a beautiful resort and I enjoyed my stay."

"We originally booked a trip to Disney for Spring Break, but the entire Disney operations were suspended before we could get there due to COVID-19. We had been planning to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. When we were planning our redo, we choose the new Riviera Resort. We were very pleased with our choice! We had a first floor two bedroom suite and it was amazing! We had a kitchen which we used to prepare breakfast every morning (We ordered our groceries from a local Walmart the week before we arrived and utilized their pickup service). In addition to the large living, dining and kitchen area, there was a large master bedroom with a King bedroom, jetted tub and shower area. The kids each enjoyed a queen bed in the other bedroom. They utilized the other bathroom with a shower and sink area. There was also a tub, but it wasn’t a deep, jetted tub - better for those with little kids. They really had a lot of sleeping places to choose from. There is a Murphy bed in the living room and also a single bed incorporated in the television stand. Of course there are Disney touches everywhere. The television “welcomed” our family to the resort, which was very cool. The kids had access to all things Disney on TV. We visited the DVC desk and we were able to enjoy a scavenger hunt. We followed a map and identified various artworks. Once we completed our tasks we earned a French-themed prize. The restaurants were fabulous. We really utilized the quick service restaurant due to the pandemic. We ordered from our app, picked up our food and enjoyed really great meals in our room. I really hope they keep this functionality because it was extremely convenient. There were two pools. Both are family friendly but we hung out in the pool with the water slide. It was very nice and spacious. The slide was deceivingly long. The trip down went much faster than I expected, but it was fun! The other pool was peaceful and spacious, too. There was also a fancy splash pad for little kids. One of the other really great aspects of the hotel is its access to the new transportation, Skyliner. We were able to travel in our own car. The Skyliner travels from the hotel to the general station or directly to Epcot. If you choose the a general station, you have to disembark and rejoin a line for Hollywood Studios. If you are utilizing this transportation at the beginning or end of your day you should plan on waiting in a rather long line (30-45 mins), so plan accordingly. We are very glad we stayed here. It was a beautiful resort with a lovely staff in a great location. We enjoyed our time and felt safe in and around the hotel, the mask policy is certainly enforced and followed. "
"I recently stayed 3 days at this resort. The room was FANTASTIC! The front desk staff was GREAT! Especially Corey(Washington) he not only checked us in but also made sure everything was as we wanted(FABULOUS VIEW) but also made us feel extra special by acknowledging us when we passed through the lobby with a smile and an ”Is Everything OK!” We had a very pleasant stay during trying times. My only complaint was at ”Primo Piatto” my phone wasn’t working with the QR code(an older iPhone) the staff said that was my problem. Another guest helped with my husbands android(I called him down from the room). The breakfast (served in cardboard boxes) was not worth $45+ the abuse from unfriendly staff. Would have gone to Toppolino’s again but 2 adults paying premium for (character experience) can add up. The food there was great though. Next time I may have to go to Caribbean Beach for breakfast. Though I shouldn't have too!! Check out the pictures!!!"
"I stayed here March 2-6, 2020 and really liked it. My family (four adults and one child) rented a 2-bedroom villa, with a preferred view. It was definitely expensive but it was quite nice. I'm a details person and it was clear that EVERYTHING in this hotel had been carefully thought out. I really liked that. The food at the restaurants and the cafe was quite good. We were all very happy. The fact that the hotel has a Skyliner/gondola stop was a HUGE bonus. We LOVED that. It's such a time saver and such a nice way to travel. I hope that Disney expands the the Skyliner/gondola system."

8113 Resort Village Drive, Orlando, Florida, United States
"This was our 6th time at this resort although we had to go a little later than usual this year and ended up there over the March Break. While there, the Coronavirus really took off so the resort seemed less busy than usual. There was plenty of parking and the pool was only busy a couple of days. We always get a pool view room and did so this time as well. If you're out early enough, you can see staff doing the cleaning early in the morning. They added sliding doors to the buildings which is a great idea for when you arrive and your hands are full. We usually eat at Frankie Farrell's on the resort and they have $5 off coupons which weren't in stock when we were there. Only other minor issue is again I wish that they would provide coffee packets for the duration of your stay. we drive so we are able to bring coffee from home but if we flew, it would be more difficult. The best part of the resort is the pool area. Lots of chairs and Lani's Luau is awesome with a great variety of drinks and great staff. The most disappointing part of that area was the people there this time around. Groups were drinking by the pool all day and then leaving their towels on the ground or chairs and all their garbage piled up for staff. There are garbage cans all over and an area to return your towels. Also, I wish they would come out with a rule about throwing footballs, frisbees and other things around the pool that's usually full of little kids. A football thrown by an adult came within inches of hitting my young daughter in the head and if it would have, the football would have been thrown over the fencing. People aren't considerate so please make it a rule. Other than that, the trip did not disappoint and we hope to return next year."
"Our Disney planner recommended Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. I wish she hadn't. We were very disappointed in this "suite". A few weeks before our trip I called and asked if all buildings were the same, if any had recently been updated. I was told that all buildings were the same. We checked in on Friday, March 6 around 4 pm. We arrived on the property at 11 but our room was not available until 4:00. We were placed in building 2, 3rd floor. When we walked in, I was immediately disappointed. The sofa was quite worn, the kitchen and bathrooms were dated, there was a water mark/ring on the table next to the couch letting me know it had not been cleaned. The television sat on a chest that had a drawer that wouldn't stay closed. We would close the drawer, and it would fall open again. The drawers in the chest of drawers in two of the bedrooms would hardly open- some were not usable at all. Because I was told weeks before that ALL buildings were the same, I thought well here were are, no use in complaining, this is a mediocre property. We headed to the grocery and went to bed. The next day we attempted to cook breakfast in the kitchen. There was not one cookie sheet/baking pan. The entire stove moved from the wall when the oven door was open. 3 of the four burners were not attached. The refrigerator door was attached on the wrong side. We made do, cooked breakfast and left for the day. We got back to the room around 9pm, did a quick load of laundry only to discover the dryer didn't work. The next day was our first Disney Park day. We were leaving very early and needed the clothes to be dry.Again, we made do. We went to the Magic Kingdom early Sunday Morning. After a long day at the park we finally called the front desk and told them about the numerous problems. The "manager" asked why hadn't I said anything sooner?? I told her we had a very busy, expensive trip planned. I honestly had not had the time to call her and tell her everything that was wrong. We were on vacation, with our four children- and were a little busy! She said she could have moved us to a "nicer' "updated" building. I told her I was told weeks ago that all of the buildings were the same. She said that wasn't the case. She sent someone to fix some of the items. The maintenance man was very professional, but even he was surprised by the condition of the oven, refrigerator door and the drawer that wouldn't stay closed. We had also begun to notice a mildewy smell coming from the carpet- someone from housekeeping was sent to spray air freshner- as you can imagine this only masked the problem. The next day was another park day, honestly we didn't have time to pack everything up and move to a "better" unit. I could go on and on. We were not pleased. We paid $2,091 for a subpar "suite". We have been to Orlando several times and have stayed other places that were less expensive and much nicer. We will not return to Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa and will not r"

1050 Century Dr, Bay Lake, Florida, United States

"Disney's cost-effective hotel, the hotel has a shuttle bus to the parks, towns, trails, there is a parking lot in the hotel, Ctrip reservations say that the parking lot is charged, but did not ask for vehicle information when checking in, Check out all the way, so there is no charge for the friends to go to the test, the hotel does not provide breakfast, the restaurant is like IKEA, this is the checkout at the checkout counter, the restaurant has a Disney drink cup, you can drink in the hotel during your stay. A variety of soft drinks, but only for use in the hotel, check in when the room card is a Disney bracelet, can be used to bind the door card, quick time fast food service, disney tickets and reservation coupons, etc., then play and open the door as long as you brush The ring is OK, the room is not big, a big bed and a drop-down bed, but the room is crowded after the bed is down, but the basics of playing Disney are early and late, and when you come back, you are tired and lying down, as long as you come back. The bed is comfortable, ok"
"This hotel feels like a small community with two outdoor swimming pools 🏊‍♀️ and laundry. I think this hotel is the most cost-effective. The key to the hotel is the Disney bracelet. At the same time, it can also bind your park tickets. The most important thing is that your name will be carved on it! After checking out, I will give it to you as a memorial! !! Awesome! The restaurant is in the lobby and has very American characteristics, basically some fast food. For transportation, there are cable cars that lead directly to the Animal Kingdom and the future world, and buses connect to the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood. Overall, living here really feels like a holiday and is very laid back."
"A very good value for money hotel, the hotel is not small, there are a lot of cartoons to take pictures, go to each park to have a free shuttle. You can buy a catering cup in the restaurant and take a free drink in the park, which is quite cost-effective. Children can also play a map at the front desk to play games."

"Hotel location is remote, driving is not convenient, close to JW Marriott. The room is OK, but it is still far from the luxury hotel. A white handsome guy at the front desk couldn't find a Ctrip order, and it took a long time to check in. At the checkout, an additional 39 yuan resort fee was charged."

"First let me say this resort is beautiful and the newly renovated rooms are wonderful. The pools and kids zone were a blast, we had a nice view and most of the castmembers were very nice and friendly. Now on another note this place is absolutely huge. Everything is a trek to get to(at least it was for us) the bridge was down during our stay so that made it even more of a hassle to get around. Also its extremely loud. We were by stairs and there were people constantly on them, but not just that we also heard cars almost constantly. The front desk did offer to change our room but we decided not to since we had already moved all our luggage (we had a split stay at another resort) we also realized the room wasn't necessarily the issue as the whole place was loud. The food options were fine but nothing to right home about. Shopping was extremely minimal. If we were doing an adults only trip and we drove and had a vehicle to get around then maybe we would give this resort another shot. However as a family with young kids and bedtimes before 9pm this just isn't the resort for us. "
"Full disclosure: I never had an interest in staying at Saratoga Springs. It just didn’t interest me. HOWEVER... We made a last minute trip to Disney just to stay at the Treehouses when an opening occurred. We always wanted to stay at a Treehouse (not knowing it was part of Saratoga). What a nice trip it was! The Treehouses are in a far wooded corner of the Saratoga Springs property which makes it quiet and out of the way. But, it’s not too far away to walk to the main “Carriage House” or main building. The Treehouses also have a nice small pool area. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay that could have only been better if the transportation boats had been running. We will definitely stay here again!"
"We are DVC members and have stayed at many Disney resorts. This is another excellent one. We were in a one bedroom full kitchen unit....and it is outstanding. The resort is adjacent to Disney Springs which has significantly improved since our last visit. Beautiful grounds, nice location. The Artist Pallet quick service restaurant is also very good"

4401 Grand Floridian Way, Orlando, Florida, United States
"I just returned from an 8 night/9 day Disney trip where we stayed at the Grand Floridian resort for the first time. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We were in a theme park view room on the second floor in the Big Pine Key building, and we were very pleased. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great view of the lake, the Contemporary resort, and Magic Kingdom. We could see the castle and appreciated the light show on the water at night. The balcony was nice and we spent time out there too. Disney is abiding by COVID safety protocols, and I thought they did a great job. While they don’t make the beds for safety reasons, they do drop off fresh towels every other day in a wicker basket outside your door, and they do come inside to remove trash and do a light cleaning. We needed some extra items, and they were brought up to the room promptly. They have social distancing markers throughout the Disney parks and hotels, you must wear your mask at all times on the property (except while in the pools). I didn’t mind, and thought it was a lot safer and more organized than the grocery stores at home. The pools were great (love the waterslide!) and we took advantage of the private cabana during one of our pool days. Barry was our attendant and he was kind and helpful, and made our day go smoothly. All of the cast members we encountered had a smile on and greeted us, making us feel welcome. We also liked the close proximity to Magic Kingdom and definitely utilized the boat service. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our vacation relaxing yet fun! We will be back. "
"We normally stay at Shades of Green however, we splurged to celebrate my son's birthday. Booking was relatively and so was online check-in. We called Disney Floral & Gifts prior to arrival and "Beth" helped us select a personally tailored birthday basket to fit our budget and needs!!! She was awesome and it was ready that same day. My son loved it. Upon arrival at the resort we were happily greeted and offered assistance for bags. The property was immaculate and beautiful inside and out. "Alicia" at the front desk was phenomenal!!! She was very informative on how to maneuver throughout the hotel and VERY kind and GRACIOUS. This was a huge welcome after a long road trip. She was also able to provide us with an room upgrade that made the trip even more special. We actually hated to leave this beautiful resort. Thank you Disney!"
"We have just returned from a 9 day stay at the Grand, and loved every minute of it. Our previous visits were pre-COVID, but even at this challenging time the GF has totally retained its charm and elegance, its true 5-star hospitality and service. The cast members are phenomenal and it is clear that the management is top-notch in keeping very high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety, and in creating a very enchanting atmosphere for the guests. The piano being played during the afternoons is lovely. The food was excellent at Narcoossee and at the GF Cafe, the lobster rolls at the Beaches pool cafe were excellent (and so were the drinks and the service), and Gasparilla's provided enough variety and timely service. There is a sense of calm and bliss at the GF that is hard to find anywhere else in Orlando."
