Una settimana da Dio!!!! Complimenti a tutto lo staff del Riva Toscana Resort. Con mia moglie e il piccolo Tommaso abbiamo prenotato una settimana in questo splendido Resort di nuova apertura....camere belle e pulizie nella norma. Spa e piscine fantastiche con un tramonto da rimanere a bocca aperta! Non siamo giocatori di golf ma grazie a Gianni, che ci ha fatto fare un giro del campo, abbiamo apprezzato e approfittato per fare una prova in campo pratica (penso così si chiami) Una plauso va senza dubbio al ristorante e al bar....cocktails preparati con professionalità e gentilezza da Simone, il quale ci ha fatto provare delle sue ”invenzioni”....molto molto hihihihihihi (il verso di Simone nel servirli) ahahahah Fantastico!!!! Ristorante da assegnare subito un stella Michelin...non scherzo...qualità e passione sono le basi dello chef Marco....bravissimo con tutto il suo staff a preparare delizie con prodotti Km0. Chi completa il lavoro dello chef è senz' altro che LUI.....Carmine il Maitre ...persona simpaticissima e professionale! Merso il sommelier (appena diplomato) e Alfredo aggiungono un plus al ristorante. Senza dimentica re le ragazze alle colazioni, carine e veloci nel portarti caffè e cappuccino. Credetemi, una settimana di relax, risate, ottima cucina e qualche escursione che consiglio vivamente di fare (Massa Marittima, Scarlino, Suvereto ecc ecc) Grazie grazie grazie!!! Hotel in pineta on the sea in a charming location top service hot swimming pool very beautiful tennis field available as well as bikes very bright and comfortable bathroom with beautiful shower welcome very professional we were welcomed by Manuela very nice and professional , the lady of the service room also very nice and available the boys in the very nice breakfast room and careful food was very good we had at the arrival a bottle of prosecco and freezer bar FREE a real girl thank you for everything we hope to come back soon

We visited Il Pelegone last week and found it generally tired and not ready for a large number of guests. The large pool is closed as it's being completely rebuilt, the pool bar was open on the last day we were there but surrounded by hoarding so not very inviting. The rooms are generally tired and need a revamp. The kitchen area has tea and coffee making facilities but not tea or coffee and despite there being a kitchenette. For a 4 star property, I'd expect there to be tea and coffee in the room. There was no sink bar the one in the bathroom next door and despite there being no in kitchen washing up facilities, our items were never cleaned during the daily clean by the team onsite. The food at the restaurant was nice but on most of our orders, something was missed off the order, from drinks to food, to both. Staff generally seemed very hurried in the restaurant despite most of the time it being quite quiet on the customer front. The beach was lovely but the advertised shuttle bus wasn't running and it is 50euros one way by cab. They also offer beach towels but only if you ask at reception specifically for them and you need to sign them out - it's one beach towel pp per stay. I didn't travel to play golf so can't comment on that.
