Maale Hachamisha, Kiryat Anavim, Maale Hachamisha, Jerusalem District, Israel
"We stayed at the Gordonia for a mini-honeymoon following our wedding. We chose the Gordonia precisely because it’s an adults only, small, private, luxury hotel. It was the perfect, quiet, romantic place to unwind after our wedding. Once you get to Gordonia, there’s absolutely no reason you need to leave! The food is excellent, and all your meals are available in the common area/lobby. Breakfast and dinner are both to-order, and there is a huge table of various salads and hors d’ouevres available while you wait for your food to be prepared. At lunch time, they put out a huge array of delicious foods, available to take anytime you like between noon and five. Anytime of say, nuts and little cookies, as well as espresso and wine are available in the kitchen. All of the food was really delicious. From the moment we checked in, the staff was very friendly, and yet not overly present. They were always available for whatever you needed, but never hovered and always respected your privacy. They called a taxi for us, brought wine to our room, checked in to make sure we were having a great stay. All staff members were nice, professional, sweet, and courteous. The rooms are truly gorgeous. We had a beautiful view and made frequent use of the hot tub (too cold in December for the pool—unless you’re brave like my husband!). I also enjoyed the large tub in the bathroom, and the beautiful rain shower. The bed was super comfy, and the room well-appointed with many thoughtful details. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The spa was also great, we both got massages which were excellent. The housekeeping service was top notch. Our door was never knocked on, they always waited until we went to breakfast to sneak in and quietly and quickly tidy up our room. We were traveling with a stuffed bunny, and every day they arranged him in a cute new way, which always made me laugh. Overall the Gordonia was perfect for us—beautiful, attention to detail, wonderful staff, and great accommodations. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but look forward to coming back!"
"Gordonia Prívate Hotel is a hidden gem in the hotel scene in Israel. Situated relatively high in Jerusalem mountains this hotel is only for couples. Each room has its own private pool and hot tube. But more important each room is a pampering experience for the visitors. The experience begins before you arrive to the hotel. You get a call from the hotel asking for your personal preferences regarding the temperature of the room at your arrival, the kind of drinks you prefer in your mini-bar and even the music to be played at your arrival Then you arrive and the check in is done while you seat at the hotel main salon (we will return to the salon later), having a hot (our stay was during the winter time) or cold drink. The salon is the center of the hotel life. You have your breakfast and your meals here. There is a buffet all day long. There are free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks 24 hours a day. And the best of all is the staff. Always someone is looking after you. Taking care of you. All orchestrated by David, the Hotel Manager who is superb. Definitely looking forward to return"
"It was the best , most relaxing , pampering vacation i have had in years . First off, this is NOT a family hotel . This is a hotel for couples who want to RELAX . Private Hot Tub , Private heated pool , which makes this pool both fun and usable , even when its chilly . Dip in the hot tub then pool then breakfast . The food is vegetarian fish eggs milk. The food was great . Breakfast and Dinner, there's also a all day light buffet . The room was huge , the bathroom had a double shower and a bath tube . All the shampoos and soaps where high end brands We didn't leave the hotel. Finished a book ! If your idea of fun is sleeping in a motel , getting up early , grabbing a quick breakfast and then drive off to hike or go sightseeing , this hotel is probably not for you Its for enjoying . Will definitely go back . "

St George St 9, Jerusalem, Jerusalem District, Israel
"This hotel is rated 4 stars everywhere. But the level of cleaning and the attitude of the staff at the reception, greatly reduces the level of this hotel. The only pluse of this hotel:located near the tram stop, stops 2-3 to the Old Town. Trams run frequently, excluding Friday evening and all Saturday afternoon. The room is not small, comfortable. The pool is open, not big inside the hotel yard. Internet/wi fi - very bad, with constant interruptions, surprisingly slow. Those who stay at this hotel for work should also count on a different kind of internet/wi fi . Those who like to watch TV in their free time cannot count on a variety of channels. It happens that today the channel works, tomorrow it is disconnected. The TV menu is in Arabic. Unfortunately, any request to the reception is ignored. This hotel has potential, but according to its current appearance - the price is too high, and the level of service, attitude towards the client and cleaning are understated. The floors are dirty, dirt and dust are visible in the corners. The bed in the room is almost comfortable, if it were not for 2 single beds connected together. As they explained to me, this is very important for guests, religious Jews: a married couple even sleeps separately, but in the same room. Sleeping on such a bed is not very comfortable. Bed linen and towels: some of them were already stained, poorly washed."
"We had a 3-night stay here while touring Jerusalem. The hotel was clean and modern. Though they were full, their service in areas such as restrooms and in dining was stellar. We were with a large group, and they were always ready for us, on time, for breakfasts and dinners. Variety of breakfast foods was on par with other hotels during our Middle East trip, and dinners had even more variety. Fresh vegetables and fruits were plentiful as was an assortment of fresh baked breads. Delightful!! We’d definitely consider staying there again."
"The hotel very clean... Roomswxxellemt .... Food meals excelent... We was so exciting to be in this hotel, they made a special service for us and thanks for the awesome staff that we met there Personel very friendly and helpful 9 9i"

4 Ben Yehuda Street, Jerusalem, Jerusalem District, Israel
"we spent 5 nights here in a superior room (706), which was at the back of the building and quiet. I'd recommend you take your own hairdryer, as the one in the bathroom was not very powerful. Other than that, comfortable bed, decent shower, brilliant breakfast choice and very clean. We walked down to the Old City Wall (10 mins) and then explored Jerusalem in detail. If you fly into Ben Gurion airport, take the airport train (17 shekels) to Jerusalem Yitzak Navon for the 25 minute journey. Exxit the modern station (4 lots of very tall escalators) and find the Light rail tram outisde on the street, Line 1, direction HEIL HA AVIR. Buy your ticket from the machine under the canopy, 5.90 shekels for a single trip. Get off at JAFFA GATE, walk slightly downhill and take the next right. This takes you into Ben Yahuda street and you'll see the hotel up above you. If you take a taxi from the station, it's a complete rip off, 60 Shekels for 2 people. You can also take the Light Rail tramline in the other direction to Mount Herzl to visit the Yad Versham Holocaust museum. We spent 3 hours there and it was the highlight of our trip."
"The hotel is still good to find, but the picture of the scheduled family suite shows two rooms (Figure 5). After entering, it is a room with two beds (Figure 4). Because the Sabbath arrived, there was no one at the door of the hotel (Figure 3). Figure 12 is the hotel lobby and corridor. Usually very busy at night, walking to the old city is very close, about 10 minutes."
"We spend 1 night here- and loved it. We had 2 rooms, both were clean, modern and lovely. we enjoyed the location- in the middle of the MIDRAHOV. The rooftop restaurant was great too- beautiful views. We walked everywhere- the market, old city, western wall, holy sepulchre. Great find!"

"There are many varieties of breakfast, small snacks and red wine are provided free of charge in the room, there is a free bar on the second floor, the room is quite large, the surrounding environment has restaurants and shopping malls, and the room is relatively clean."
"There are many varieties of breakfast, the hotel is relatively central, there are restaurants and shopping malls around, the rooms are bigger, the sofa can become a bed, and whether the hotel has a parking lot is not clear."
"Great location; very close to the old town of Jaffa. The service is very good; the breakfast is rich. Despite the small size of the room, the family executive parent-child room is slightly compact."

"The location of the hotel is a few minutes walk from the old town. The service is also very good from the door to the front desk. It's just that it's inconvenient to drink when the minibar is empty. In addition, there is dust on the bedside counter, and hygiene is not very good."
"Very good location, very good building, unfortunately the service was unsatisfactory, check-in waited for a long time, and the service staff ignored and did not help with luggage, and the credit card was charged many times for unknown charges, triggering an alarm."
"The hotel is very good in all aspects, but the flies running in the room are more distressed, but there is no way. There are too many people near the ancient city of Jerusalem and it is dirty"

Kibbutz Kiryat Anavim, Kiryat Anavim, Jerusalem District, Israel
"This is my second time at Cramim - a beautiful and luxurious spa hotel set in the hills of Jerusalem. The stunning views are reminiscent of Provence and the design of the hotel makes the most of the setting. For this vacation, I brought my three older children with me and we very much enjoyed having 2 adjoined rooms with lovely views (216-217). One of my favorite things about the hotel are the amazing bathtubs they have, and the fact that there are speakers located in the bathroom so you can listening to your favorite calming music while relaxing in the tub - pure bliss! The staff is mostly very friendly (although one of the women at the reception was quite rude when I spoke to her to cancel our dinner reservations and kept patching me through to different people till I got fed up and had to call back). Breakfast was amazing and other hotels should definitely learn from Isrotel on how to make a great breakfast experience despite Covid and its limitations. The only thing i felt was missing was pancakes - but that's just my personal favorite. I loved being able to order eggs from the waiters rather than waiting in line for long periods of time - I would recommend keeping this practice up. The spa is great and I had several treatments over the time we spent at the hotel. Dalia was wonderful for aromatherapy and Limor gave me a lovely facial. Also had a Cramim massage with Gal which was very good and I enjoyed a lot . My only complaint - and for us it was quite a major one - was that for the three days we were there, one of the outdoor pools was roped off and completely unavailable for use. As the other outdoor pool is rather small, this was highly incompatible with following social distancing and gave us an uncomfortable feeling most of the time as there was a great number of people in the water at the same time. As a person who experienced Covid herself and was very ill, I felt the hotel was being highly irresponsible in allowing such a large number of people use such a small pool and should have made every effort to open the other pool. As a main reason we came on vacation was to enjoy the pool as we have not been to one or the beach all summer, this definitely had a negative impact on our experience. In addition, every time I asked one of the staff members about the other pool being closed, I was brushed off and told there was a drainage problem (though I did not see any work being done to remedy the problem throughout the entire time we were there) and to just use the other pool - this is an unacceptable response to a guest who paid thousands of shekels and expects to get full use of the hotels amenities! One staff member even dared to tell me that "like you, we really want it to open as well" - as if she also had just spent so much money and discovered that a main part of her vacation was ruined. None of the staff members displayed empathy or understanding to my complaint, suggested some type of compensation, or offered to bring"
"Cramim hotel has a wonderful location on a mountain and surrounded by vineyards so the air is clean and the weather is just right during the summer. It is the place to relax and enjoy a quiet vacation. They offer many activities such as yoga and wine tasting so you may choose your style of holiday. The 3 swimming pools are just great; one is an indoor pool and 2 outdoors with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the sun. The room is spacious and includes a balcony and enough place for your luggage. Service is excellent and the staff does his best for you to feel comfortable. Breakfast is fine and plenty. The views from the hotel are beautiful . You feel close to nature. We really enjoyed our 2 day vacation."
"Beautiful property, Great spa. Breakfast was a cornucopia of fruits, vegetables, cereals, freshly baked breads and pastries, cheeses, fish & hot foods made by the chef at the station. Rooms were elegant, with luxurious linens for bed and bath. Staff, including housekeepers, aimed to please. Since weather was not great we had an excuse to book more spa services which were great (skip the mani/pedi). A fabulous 2-night retreat from heavily-scheduled trip."

"The only thing that I can say and I never forget the service of the staff more than fantastic from all the department that I meet during my stay. The room small but clean the view from the room romantic in the room mini bar and free coffee station. The breakfast Israeli buffet with a lot of tasty dairy food ,fresh salads, pizza waffle and cheese with oil hand made. The hotel located in the city center and near the Congress center opposite the hotel the main train station that you can use to get the old city. In the hotel new modern lobby and bar. I really come back again to this hotel . Thank a lot for Riyad the guest service manger for your help ."
"This hotel has been open a year and appears like it just opened (unfinished) yet has dented walls, old carpet and dust everywhere. We were part of Globus tour group and everyone had an issue with their room: my first one was dirty (used sheets and dirty bathroom), others had leaking ceilings, showers would not drain, ac/ heat not working, and more! One front desk girl was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered (and I was in hotel management for 6 years) and argues with me about a room change I was told by THEM I HAD to do and hung up on me when I asked the front desk to ask the room next door to me to stop yelling and slamming doors (she said they were kids and what can she do, they were paying customers (and we were not?). Breakfast was disorganized and ran out of everything. We were there for Shabbat and they basically force you to have their Shabbat buffet (at $110 Canadian), a big rip off. This hotel is a “3 dressed up as a 9l. It’s not a 5 star hotel, it’s a 3 at best with 2 star service. The only saving grace was the Copper Bar staff that were actually friendly (Ksenia, Thomas, Anton, Neyenya) actually cared about you. I would not stay at this hotel nor recommend it until feb owners, management, and staff get their acts in order."
"Pleasant and graceful service, the staff was helpful and always with a smile.great location too much of the cities attractions.underground parking..we where part of an organized group, that Organized in advance the weekend.we sirtanly got a great deal. Thank you. P.S one of the partners of a worker within the group wasn't satisfied, but forgot that everything was organized and closed by the company management, and the hotel stood by the contract.no fault by the hotel!!!"
