We spent two nights at Amberley Castle. It is a remarkable quaint building oozing with history. Being a castle the rooms are perhaps a little smaller than average but that is part of the quaintness and character. The whole place is beauttifully maintained. Apart from the building itself there are gorgeous grounds and the neighbouring village of Amberley is a picture postcard delight. The staff in the hotel were exceptional, particularly Michael and Henny and the food is everything you would expect of a 5 star hotel

We took the grandparents to Amberley castle for afternoon tea. There was a big choice of teas, coffees and hot chocolates on the menu. The afternoon tea itself was a set menu but they did alter mine to account for allergies. The two course tea was delicious. Lots of food so we took 'doggie bags' home! Attentive staff too. Would definitely go again

It is really difficult to find a hotel abroad. It is very close to the meeting place. The hotel is safer and the service facilities are complete. It is clean and tidy. Others do not need to be considered.

The whole is as leisurely as ever, but the facilities are really aging, the room phone is not working, the shower gel pump head is also bad, and the restaurant menu is also backwards.
