"Beautiful property, obviously very popular for weddings and events so a bit busy/crowded but it was that time of year. I had a Royal Suite with a lovely lounge area and awesome bed. Highly recommended. I enjoyed their room service and would definitely go bad. The car service they recommend from the airport was great too."
"Super unfortunate stay! I was at the fox hollow from December 2-4th for my wedding, checking in the night of the rehearsal dinner and checking out after the wedding. Checking in was fine, as was the room, and immediately left for the rehearsal and didn’t return until late and just went straight to bed. The first night on the 2nd, I’d gone to sleep and was woken up around 12:40 in the middle of the night by the sound of running water. I flipped on the light and saw that there was water flowing out of the toilet and immediately called the front desk. There was at least a solid inch of water covering the bathroom at this point and was continuing to rise. The woman who answered was very kind and apologetic and send someone up quickly. The man who was there to assist came and plunged there toilet and seemed to fix it (concerning that I’d only just checked in and didn’t even use the toilet, so could have been dirty or clean water, who really knows) and then asked if he could use some of the towels to mop up some water, and which of course was fine. So he left tons of water (since there were t enough towels to clean it all up) and the wet towels all over the floor and then walked out and left. I figured he would come back and at least take the towels or clean it up, but waited about a half hour and nothing. I called back down to the front desk at that point asking if he could come back and just clear some of those or if not, just to send cleaning supplies up and I’d deal with it myself since I had to wake up early for my wedding the next morning. I waited another 25 minutes and eventually gave up when he didn’t return and I checked 4 times periodically to see if they maybe left the cleaning supplies at the door. I tried to clean up as much as I could of the towels and water and went to bed. When I woke up there were the cleaning supplies, most likely dropped off either that morning or much later in the night, as I’d been checking outside the room. Of course, at that point I had to GO TO MY WEDDING with the wedding party so I couldn’t take time to clean, when they really should have taken care of it in the first place. We booked the hotel shuttle for the morning to take us to the venue and when I was telling the wedding party what had happened the previous night the driver at the end asked what room I was in, so it seemed to take talking about it with him to get something done. At least when we got home after the wedding that night it was cleaned, but the whole ordeal was shocking and nothing ever came from it. Might have been too high of an expectation for management to at least reach out and say sorry, if they weren’t going to give anything back. tl;dr, maybe not the best stay for your wedding"
"Originally staying at this hotel for a long time, this itinerary change, the hotel will not give up. Wasted one night."

"We used this hotel for our wedding block and we couldn't be happier. Rosemarie Tibball was our main point of contact and her service was exceptional. She answered every question and request we had promptly and thoroughly. When some guests had trouble or made mistakes with their bookings, Rosemarie stepped in personally to make sure all was straightened out in short order. It's great that the hotel offers extras like shuttle to your venue, distribution of gift bags, and/or a comped room for the bride and groom when certain minimums are hit. Rooms were clean and there is plenty of parking on-site. We would absolutely recommend this hotel."
"Clean sheets and a quiet hotel. Along with Wi-Fi, that’s all one really needs when traveling. Ninety-nine percent of people are driving in anyway, so free parking is very nice. And this place has that! Restaurant is on site with a wide choice of entrees for dinner. And the breakfast, while not free, is only ~$13 with a choice of cereals, eggs, breakfast meats, fruits, juices, coffee and tea, breads, and omelets made to order."
"Shout out to Rosemarie Tibball and the Hilton Garden Inn staff for making our wedding weekend amazing. This was the hotel booked for my son and DIL’s wedding. Great space for hair and makeup getting ready for the bridesmaids, to morning after brunch, to providing a shuttle to the wedding venue. Every request was handle immediately and with a smile. Great location. Highly recommend."

"Living in the South, and hearing somewhat negative things about the New Yorkers, we were absolutely amazed how cordial EVERYONE was. We found the property in great shape, clean and welcoming. The service was top notch and very professional. I would like to compliment: Lourdes, Negass, Miguel, Farrell, and Yolanda, you guys made trip a real treat. Thank You All, Phil & Barbara Doherty (Rm. 421)"
"The hotel environment is good, the room is big, but the sound insulation is poor, I can hear the isolation room talking, the washbasin does not drain water, the toilet does not have skin care products on the countertop, the air ducts are all bagged and hung on the iron pipe of the towel, there is no microwave oven or equipment It's not perfect, the hotel's indoor pool is open, and we saw many children swimming, but we didn't bring swimsuits and couldn't go."
"We just celebrated our 2nd family event in 3 years and both events. Both celebrations included several teenage boys with lots of energy. The pool is the perfect solution for everyone. The suites are clean, showers hot and beds heavenly! Most meaningful, the tranquility sets in the moment you enter their lobby doors. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay every time!"

"This hotel is pretty rundown. The small 'suite' had one bedroom, a sofa bed in the common area, a kitchen and a shared bathroom. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, especially for a week's stay. The curtains were sheer and the heavier side curtains did not close over the sheer ones, so the room was never really dark. The main concern is that the hotel is pet-friendly, which was not disclosed. We had a long-term guest across the hall from our room with a small dog that was quiet. But the hotel lodged someone with a big, noisy dog next to us - it barked at the littlest noise and sleeping was interrupted due to the barking. If we stayed in the room for any period of time the dog would bark upon hearing us [we have a feeling the resident left it alone in the room]. We are not against pets, but they should allot a certain area of the hotel to pets, not have then interspersed anywhere and tell the guests. And the sound-proofing from the room above ours was awful. One night/early morning we had what can only be described as an X-rated movie scene being played out, no holding back from vocalization!!! The staff at the hotel were nice and friendly, but I would never book a room here again."
"The location is perfect, and offers easy access to the Expressway, and many shops and restaurants. It is also in a quiet location, bordering on a park. The rooms are large and very well equipped. The kitchen is full size. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jessica. While we did not opt for room servicing , we got fresh towels and amenities every day. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay. "
"Chose to come here for my birthday weekend and I'm so happy I did. Jessica and Kate were so helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was so yummy. The amenities (gym and pool) were awesome. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Definitely recommend and will be coming back. Thanks for a great stay!"

"On the first night of my stay, I had a bad fall while visiting family. I returned to the hotel and the response by the team was simply great. They bent over backwards with first aid kits, assisted us with 911 ( sustained a foot fracture) and found us a new room which was more accessible for me. They asked how I was doing every time my husband walked by as well as “ does she need anything “. You do not find this level of care and concern much these days. I’m very impressed! The hotel is immaculate! They have a lovely bistro restaurant and bar. Families were really enjoying a good time there. The rooms are spacious."
"I can't express enough how wonderful the team at Four Points were for us. Nicole (Director of Sales) was our point person for booking rooms for over 30 people and her communication and professionalism made the process seamless. Alexis & Jada at the front desk were also quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had."
"The location, facilities and staff are excellent. I did not expect this level of service for the price. The staff made sure I had everything thing I needed and the location was perfect for the business I had to conduct in the area. Great access to LaGuardia as well."

"In reading the reviews of this hotel I am really surprised how unhappy people can decide to be. Or they COULD just take things in stride --afterall this is in the time of Covid and nowhere are things running perfectly. Everyone who comes here is an “Elite” member of some sort (including me) and expects special treatment. Give me a break. This is not The Four Seasons….. The pipes burst at my house nearby so I came to take refuge for a few days (I mean really: do people actually “vacation” at the Uniondale Marriott?? It’s an in-transit hotel, not a destination!). I waited in line (Covid-distance-safe) for check-in and then was given exactly the room I booked, free breakfasts, a welcome bottle of water and a Snickers. Good enough for me - and almost all of my special requests were met. Also good enough. The “Executive Room” had a good layout, a lot of space, a balcony, and everything I needed to be comfortable, including a very comfy warm bed. The furniture was a little worn and there was no shampoo. So what? The scrambled eggs in the buffet at breakfast were absolutely perfect (good scrambled eggs can be tricky), the tater tots were cold but I’m not even supposed to be eating them really. There was an abundance of other food and even an omelette station (but I didn’t want to wait on line). The staff was gracious, and bags were provided to take extra food back to my room. I did not bother them for anything else. The front desk appeared to be clearly somewhat harried. There was no cable TV channel list available, nor a Guide channel for the tv, but I made my own and they had every channel I needed. I didn’t miss any of my shows. The sunset view across the Nassau Coliseum (or whatever it’s called these days) from the 9th floor, with the Manhattan skyline framed behind it was literally beautiful. It was interesting watching the various vehicle uses of the vast Coliseum parking lot all day - what memories it brought back of the hundred or so concerts I saw here in the 1970’s and 80’s, not to mention the parties I attended at the trendy-looking lounge at the hotel here after the Arenacross, and for Pulse magazine…… And no, I did not see any homeless or vagrants or anyone of questionable appearance on the premises, just regular folks of all creeds and colors on their lap tops by the fireplace, or enjoying a drink in the lounge, or watching the lobby JFK/LGA monitors for their flight info (a really nice touch). Where else around here are you going to find a hotel that has that feature?? I think the bad reviewers on TripAdvisor are doing this place a disservice. This is still the only nice hotel option in this whole part of LI and I will be back no doubt."
"Where shall I start? Reservations: I made reservations in February for a Wedding in April. Reservation assistance suggested two reservations - 1 for the day early I was coming in and 2 - the wedding weekend. When I arrived, Front Desk attendant was grumpy and quickly said she didn't have a reservation. I said please look again.. and magically she found it. The next day, I had a routine request and went to the Bonvoy stations where Erin said she had no reservation for me! Nope... didn't even try to find my reservation!! I then went to my room, found my confimation number and Gia at the desk was tremendous and found my reservation!!! She even felt my frustration!! Room: The regular thermostat didn't work. Had to ask the wonderful maid Kristal who told us we had to use the heater on the wall.. who knew? Food: Not the regular Marriott standard!! then I heard it was a franchise rather than corporate Marriott... bring it back. this arrangement is inferior...."
"I decided to take a last minute trip to New York and decided on the Long Island Marriott. The rooms were nice and the staff at the bar was beyond excellent. Highly recommended and perfect if you want to be out of the city but not too far from the city!"
