"The service was EXCELLENT!!! We were welcomed by Tony Ms. D. was our housekeeper. She was awesome!!!. Our room was clean, the lobby and restrooms were clean and Fresh. I personally didn't have breakfast; but my family members did. They said it was well worth the value and more. I can tell you the presentation was exquisite. We selected this hotel because of the close proximity to Gulf Coast. My Nephew Cameron Holden plays basketball for Gulf Coast. The family came down because it was Sophomore Night ; and to be there when Cam score 1000 point at GC. The entire family was very pleased with Hilton Garden Inn. Especially the Staff. They really made you feel like FAMILY."
"This hotel is in a great location near Panama City, many restaurants within walking distance. You're just off major roadways which take you into downtown Panama City as well. 30 minutes from the airport. Nice large rooms that are well decorated and clean. Some slight wear and tear in the bathroom however. Very comfortable bed with a solid ac/heating unit. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Overall my stay here far exceeded my expectations and I'd highly recommend it!"
"This was the worst service at a hotel I have ever had. What a terrible experience. Booked a whirlpool suite for my husband’s birthday. Received a call from the hotel at 3:30 pm on check in day that the whirlpool suite was not available. The rep told me she came on shift and it was gone. Offered me a junior suite for the same price or a regular room at a discount. I asked for the discounted room and she gave me a price that was literally $10 less than the price of the whirlpool room I booked. I asked her what the discount was and she told me that’s the rate and the option I chose. I ended up taking the room- very upset but she wouldn’t discuss the rate. Checked into the hotel and was given a room right next to the elevator. Listened to the elevator all night. Terrible. Front desk will not tell you that there’s not coffee or cups in the room (assuming due to covid) and will not tell you where you can get some coffee. We woke up in the morning and left very frustrated. The rep at the front desk was so rude to me on the phone and in person. Was not understanding of my situation. We’ll NEVER be back and we’ll NEVER recommend to our many friends and family that come visit regularly."

"Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! I made my reservation on September 30, 2019 for two rooms with one adult and three children in each room and requested joining rooms. When I called at 0930 the day of check-in to request early check-in, I inquired if it was noted I had requested joining rooms. The receptionist told me no but she would make a note of it on my reservation. She told me to call back at 1:30 to see if my rooms would be ready. When I called at 1:30 only one room was ready and again I questioned about joining rooms and she confirmed it was documented on my reservation. When I arrived at 3 PM October 19, 2019, I was told there were no joining rooms available. I was asked if I would care if one room had a king bed? I said absolutely not as long as they are joining rooms. Then she came back out and told me that there are no rooms available but she will get us rooms close to each other. We stayed in room 324 and 327 which were across the hall from each other. When we were getting ready to go to breakfast the next morning the wonderful and incredible housekeeper Serene who was there yet again with a smiling face asking how everything went with our birthday last night. As we were talking she went into the joining room of 324 which was 326-A king size bed room that joined into our room of 324. I asked her if that room had been vacant all night and she said yes I cleaned it yesterday it was not reserved last night. So I was lied to that there were no joining rooms available for me. I spent 30 minutes at the front Desk With the receptionist trying to figure out how to “accommodate me” as if it was my fault that they did not have joining rooms. When in fact the room right next-door to 324 was empty all night long. The housekeeper Serene was amazing, courteous, friendly and helpful. She offered us a large trash bag since we were having a birthday for my 11 year old daughter who did not get a birthday last year because of hurricane Michael. She even asked if room 319 that was having a birthday party as well was part of our party. Which it was not!!!!! Serene was fantastic!!!! Wonderful employee. When I called the local holiday inn to make my reservation I explained that we would be celebrating my daughter‘s 11th birthday there and asked if it was OK if we had her birthday there and then went down to the pool to swim. The lady with reservations told me that would be fine we could have the cake and gifts upstairs in the rooms and then come down to have a pool party. I was so happy because hotels on the beach will not allow anybody not staying in the hotel to even come up to the rooms. When I called on October 19, 2019 at 9:30 to inquire about early check in I again explained we will be having a birthday and I need joining rooms. After we finished with cake and gifts we went down to the pool one of the guests for our party did not arrive till after 5 PM. I told her mother that we are in the pool and she can just meet us in there and I will take her u"
"I cannot recommend this place. It wasn't all-out awful, but it left a lot to be desired. Pros: + Tammi at the front desk was great. She was on top of everything and was a great friendly face to see when I arrived at 1:30am instead of my original 11pm arrival. + The breakfast server (whose name I forget) made breakfast so worth it. + The bartender is friendly and helpful. + There's a pool with a spa. + The hotel was very clean. + The beds were super comfy. + Shower heads were modern and good quality + It's on a main road and easy to get to + It's newly renovated + Parking is free Cons: - Lack of hot water: Several people in my training also suffered the lack of hot water. They have so-called "green" hot water heaters that heat up and produce hot water on demand. They're not tankless, and it can take up to 10 minutes to get hot if you run the shower-- if it does get hot. (This seems to defeat the purpose of saving energy and water) Out of 4 attempted showers, I got hot water once (the bathroom steamed up), decently warm once (no steam), one pool-temperature, and one that never got beyond cold. I did complain to the front desk, and they sent someone, but it didn't fix the problem. There were lots of shrugs-- that is, it seems, just the way they are. - On my departure, I set two wake-up calls through the automated system. I confirmed them, and they had the correct time. Instead of calling a 3:00am and 3:05am, I was called in the 2am hour. Other info: ~ Breakfast is available. Buffet is $12, and it does not include a beverage (coffee is $3). Our server was amazing, however. I forget her name, but she was on top of everything. She even remembered who had coffee, decaf, and orange juice on Day 2 and had a carafe of decaf ready. She remembered how I liked my eggs, too. ~ Google Maps and Waze will occasionally try to have you drive in the back entrance. It is paved, but it is not really intended to be used. Similarly, the front entrance from MLK Blvd could be better marked (It's a divided lane setup, and it's hard to really see at night)"
"We rushed up after my sister passed away and needed a place to stay. We spoke with Chrisha and she held our hands through the entire booking, stay and checkout. She constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything. Check in was so smooth - thank you Anna for your wonderful customer service! The entire staff was so amazing that we almost forgot why we were there, it felt like a mini vacation. The breakfast was delicious - thank you Shanese for making sure we got our vouchers and following up afterwards to make sure it was delicious -- make sure you book it with the breakfast! - and the entire staff in the restaurant made sure we weren't in need of anything. It's a newly renovated property with the BEST pillows we have ever used. Thank you Chrisha and the entire staff for such a great stay during a difficult time. Can't wait to visit on better terms."

"The hotel overall was good... I mean its Marriott.. however 208.00 for 1 night is pricey.. but it's in a great location to shop and eat..but not in walking distance to the beaches.. would go back.. but when the rates are cheaper"
"Were do start? Let me say that the hotel was nice. I had a 4 day stay at Town Suites Panama City FL. My wife has been stuck in the house since March so I though this would be great, most of it is during the week, and the kids are in school. We get there on Wed with no problems. No problems Thursday or Friday morning. Friday afternoon and Sat morning all hell breaks loose and no one is wearing a mask. The hotel had a girls teenage baseball tournament going on and kids and parents did not have mask! Grant it there are signs on the door, the website says that mask are required! This is the reason for picking this hotel as myself and wife had not been anywhere because of the COVID-19. So I hear the end of the conversation where a lady with a mask ask Clay Walker(Suppose to be Gen-manager) about people wearing mask, his response rudely, was I can't make them wear them. At that point me nor my wife felt uncomfortable. I then ask my self about the mask policy and was also told rudely that he could not make them wear mask. That only the staff was required to wear them. Now before I talked the this so called Gen-Manager, I saw a cleaning staff lady to ask were was the manager and she nor did I see any cleaning staff with a mask on. Once I asked her about wearing mask she hurried and went in the back to get one. I told the manager I was checking out, as I did that day. Marriott hotels lie about requiring people to wear mask! Once you get there you are stuck. So beware that Marriott is not as safe as they want you to believe. Trip ruined."
"Jenny [-] , the manager, is an absolute 100 % liar......I made a reservation several weeks in advance for a one month stay with a request for first floor accommodations due to my heart condition. On arrival, I was booked for a 3rd floor room, the amenities of a pool, fitness center and breakfast were NOT available and I was never given this information until MY ARRIVAL. There was NEVER an offer for a different room or even on the first floor. . I ALWAYS request ground floor whenever I travel , and if it is not going to happen I simply DO NOT MAKE the reservation in the first place. I was charged for the reservation for not cancelling in advance. The FOLLOWING DAY when I called .. was when I heard for the very first time about a studio apartment. I asked her THREE times if there was ANYTHING available on the first floor. What she said about the ground floor bedroom suite was that she "was not sure when they would be checking out" and that she was "not going to ask them to leave just because I was there". As a RN Travel Nurse, I stay all over the country and have NEVER had an issue... EVER..I will see her lying face in Small Claims Court. TRAVEL NURSES, General Public, Corporate Travelers...DON"T DO IT...Do Not Stay here....any "Manager" that wants to blatantly lie does not deserve YOUR business."

"Traveled here for business. My stay was absolutely perfect the staff were VERY accommodating the facilities were very clean. King suite super nice. Indoor swimming pool and spa. Nice area out front sit and relax."
"We had booked a room here for a drive from New Orleans to Orlando. We got here the day before Hurricane Michael hit the area. The front desk staff told me my booking had been cancelled due to the mandatory evacuation. I was able to get them to allow us a few hours of rest as we had driven all night to get here. The room was fairly nice, however we were not able to get any breakfast as there was a skeleton staff that morning. Very thankful for letting us stay still and hoping they are all safe after Michael passed through."
"Nice hotel. The young lady that checked me in was friendly. Breakfast was decent. Pool was semi warm. Jacuzzi was a little on the hot side. Down side was the toilet had stains like nobody had cleaned it in a week. Found a glob of hair on the bathroom floor and dirt on the floor by the couch like nobody had swept. The room was cold when arrived. So turned on the heater and went to eat came back and was still cold. I shut off the heater and cleaned the filters. Omg they were black as black. Who knows when they were cleaned last. After that the heater worked fine. We drove around during the day. Sad what the hurricane did. Heart breaking. "

"Asked for best price at the desk but the room was cheaper on line so used the hotel WiFi to book online and save. We arrived at PCB as they was shutting the beach down for a week because of covid 19. We wanted to get out of the area. This hotel was our pick. The check in was easy and very informative of the local area. The room was large and very clean. The room even had the cleaners name on a card on the bed and a managers direct mobile number in the room if needed, nice touch. We used the phone to try and get flights home with no charge. Again because of covid 19 they did a grab and go breakfast, great selection. Thank you for the fantastic stay after a long drive from New Orleans and then the disappointment that everything had shut down."

"I was assigned to this area as a contractor to support post-hurricane work at Tyndall AFB. I was the second person to move into the hotel following the storm as the property owner worked to get all rooms and site ready for full capacity. The room was comfortable, the staff was kind and helpful, and management was highly supportive and accommodating to the needs of me and my team during our 7-8 month stay. Minor issues were addressed often quickly. They are still working to get small aspects of the property up to pre-storm condition, but the minor concerns I experienced are not worth mentioning as they do not override the comfortable stay and flexibility made available by Management and staff. The staff was short at times, but that is an issue many businesses are facing since the storm. Thank you for providing this home away from home."
"My husband and I stayed here for the night. It’s a beautiful place. Very well decorated. The rooms are clean and smell good. The pools looked fantastic. We enjoyed Drinks and shrimp from the bar. The staff were friendly. "

"Excellent service, fair rates for the time, friendly staff, King bed was too high get two queens unless you like high beds. Please cut the legs off the king bed so it is usable! Motel apparently has been remodeled after Hurricane Michael.."
"We don't recommend this property at all. We had a dirty tub, filthy wet towels left in the bathtub and a leaky toilet. Unfortunately, we tried to move rooms, but none available, then tried 5 other hotels, but they were booked and it was already after 11 PM and we were exhausted. Called the front desk about the mess, but the clerk was the only person there so no housekeeping services. I had to get gloves and cleaning supplies and clean the tub myself in order to take a shower. Went downstairs for breakfast the next morning and most of the items they were supposed to have were out and no mention of restocking or more fodd arriving from the store and we were up early. The hotel manager/owner? was out of town. We didn't receive a refund or any type of compensation for the state of our room and barely received an apology. "
"Didn't realize how far it was from the beach. You probably want to go out for breakfast, theirs is ok, but it was always out of something. The pillows were so soft and the rooms were updated. Shower got hot and stayed hot for a while. Overall it wasn't a terrible choice. "
