Longueville Road, Saint Helier, Jersey, United Kingdom
"We booked for two nights and had an amazing experience. We stayed in a beautiful suite called the Tower Suite which was spectacular and comprised three separate rooms. All three were spacious, comfortable and luxurious but the bathroom in particular was out of this world. Huge walk-in shower, his and her sinks and a bath big enough for two. If that wasn’t enough there was even a TV. The food we had in the restaurant was stunning and the staff, as always, were helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order and as healthy (or unhealthy) as you wish. We also had afternoon tea served in the room which was delicious. The whole stay was simply flawless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If you are looking for a place in which to unwind, escape and luxuriate we could not recommend Longueville Manor more."
"Had such a lovely overnight stay here and was upgraded to a suite. Malcolm Lewis, Pedro Bento and all his staff made us very welcome and our whole experience was made very special. We had an afternoon tea of fresh crab and smoked salmon sandwiches and scones with homemade jam and clotted cream. Then for dinner we chose from an extensive menu and both decided on Scallops and octopus followed by freshly caught Sea Bass. John was tempted by the Creme Brûlée with cherries and chewy sorbet which was delicious. It was made special with a wedding anniversary wish. Then staff brought out petit fours which were very yummy. We had a very comfortable nights sleep and a huge breakfast offering. Will definitely be returning as soon as we can."
"We had a short break at Longueville that was much needed and which this hotel made perfect in every aspect. Their welcome, charm and ease of drawing you into their comfortable, cared for and sumptuous world is second to none. Our room was perfectly balanced as was the dinning we enjoyed in their restaurant. A superb cellar was complemented by an excellent sommelier, brilliantly attentive and professional staff at every level in all areas, only overtaken (in our simple opinion:) by the most excellent cheese board we have ever found! We will revisit Longueville on our next Jersey journey and would simply thank everyone for making our stay a "perfect paradise"!"

La Route De La Baie, St Brelade, Jersey, United Kingdom
"We stayed in the Bay Suite and our kids stayed in one of the sea view rooms on the top floor. The Bay Suite (on the first floor) is a decent size with plenty of space in the lounge area for four to sit. The balcony is also sizeable with seating and loungers and views across the bay. The decor is appealing and there were two TVs. Unfortunately, the room was let down by a lack of attention to detail. For example, the heated towel rail wasn’t working, there was no remote control for the TV in the bedroom (so we couldn’t use it) and one of the UHT milks had gone off. The bar service was good. They made a delicious Singapore Sling. The meals at this hotel were adequate. The service at dinner seemed a little old fashioned (but quick and friendly). Breakfast was a buffet. Again, OK, but I’ve had better. The orange juice was good, so too were the pastries, but the scrambled eggs were unappealing. We were not offered alternatives like kippers etc. We enjoyed using the tennis court which was well maintained. The health club is run by a separate company which caused some confusion. When we booked we asked if we could book a time to swim, but was told this wasn’t necessary. When we got to the health club we were told that a booking was essential. We were permitted to swim at the time, but there were no time slots available for when we wanted to swim the next day (due to a ladies swimming session and bookings by other guests). We managed to book a time to swim for after check out, but even then they lost the details and said there wasn’t a booking in our name. Not a bad hotel, but minor niggles let it down. "
"My wife and I booked into the hotel for Valentine's Night, our first stay at the property. On arrival, we were shown to a great double room with views over the St Brealade's Bay. Very comfortable and great bed. On walk down to the restaurant, we stopped at the bar for a free cocktail (two options and soft drinks available) Having sat in the great bar area we walked through to our table, where we could choose our place and settled into the table d'hote menu was served. On the table were also some macaroons and chocolates. Service was very efficient and retiring to the reading room after was a pleasure. Breakfast was served at the same table, and was of a great standard and choice. No rush to vacate, the car was easily loaded and we than were able to continue in the public areas to finish our stay. Overall, a great experience with fine added touches."
"Everything and everbody was utterly delightful. From the minute we first stepped into the Reception, to second we left - truly wonderful! The staff were all really pleasant, friendly, polite and helpful, the room and general decor was comfortable, smart and clean. The food, oh - the food was rally delicious, wth a different menu every day, and superb choices each time. The grounds, had it been summer, I'm would have been a treat to lounge around in. I didn't make use of the spa and leisure facilities, but my wife did and was impressed. Enough - just go and see for yourself!"

La Vallee De Rozel, Rozel, Jersey, United Kingdom
"We saw the Snoozy Sunday advertised on the Chateau La Chaire website and it seemed like a good idea so we booked. Covid track and trace scan in reception when you arrive and all the staff follow the Covid rules. Sunday lunch was very good with plenty of selections on the menu. The roast beef was tender and tasted like beef should. As for the Yorkshire pudding, even large wouldn’t describe it. The chef must be very proud of them. Leisurely coffee in the lounge after lunch where we were allowed to take our dog. Sunday evening we were still full after lunch. Walking the dog before dark helped a little. We ordered some sandwiches from room service which turned up very promptly and they more than sufficed for an evening meal. The en-suite room, with a balcony, was very comfortable and we all slept well. The hotel always has a lovely old fashioned quietness about it. But with guests chatting happily it makes for a very friendly ambience. Staff, whether they are dining room staff or reception staff are attentive and friendly and look after you so well. After getting up later than normal on Monday we had a Full Jersey breakfast which set us up for the day before leaving. A very enjoyable Snoozy Sunday at the Chateau La Chaire which is highly recommended. "
"Bedroom and bathroom a good size. Bathroom needs painting and bath replacing as scratched and jacuzzi not working, which we told lady at reception and apologies were given. I hope it was fixed for the next client as that was a big draw for me as I love a long soak after a walk. Told receptionist that WiFi was working intermittently and buffering and was assured they would look into this while we were out during the day but had to ask again as still not working as it should. We were told it was because everyone was using the internet! Not at 6.30 am ! 1 WiFi bar only in our room. Sitting room next to reception was the only place that had good WiFi but as dogs are allowed in here and I’m allergic it made it uncomfortable for me to stay. (sneezing at this time gets you dirty looks in the year 2020). During the evening meal while most of us in dining room I tried again but still buffering! The internet problem is unacceptable and to be brushed off with such a ridiculous excuse is an insult. Water, tea and coffee in the room with fresh milk in the fridge. Coffee and tea a good quality. We were on half board but found there were supplements on each area of the menu. Same menu both nights which meant if you were a vegetarian you had to eat the same thing. Third meal was at their sister establishment which was the pub across the road. Excellent meal there. Breakfast was good with a range of continental and cooked things on it. Their private car par was not close to the hotel. Iron and ironing board and hairdryer in the room and a T.V We had an offer on their staycation which gave us 1/2 a bottle of champagne on arrival and tea and scone on one day. Not as many staff as when I last came here, this meant waiting in various areas for someone to see you, though there was a bell to alert the staff, not really what you should have in this type of hotel and I’ve not seen it in previous years. I felt this impacted the service or lack of! We had a balcony which would have been lovely if the weather was nice. No pool or spa. Near a lovely little harbor and bay. Good amount of sockets. They wanted us to state a time for each meal and if we wanted pre dinner drinks, not had this at any other hotel in Jersey in 2020, found that annoying as it felt like we were restricted to a timetable not of our making. I know think was not for COVID reasons but to spread out the covers because of the lack of staff. On the second night the room next door to ours was occupied so we realized that the rooms had no sound proofing. Not noisy people but you could hear them talking. This is an old hotel so that is maybe why. Do not come here if you need internet and privacy. I would not stay here again and I would think twice about eating here as the lack of staff meant time waiting for service."
"Here in Jersey we are lucky to have many fine hotels and restaurants but every Christmas we return to our favourite, Chateau la Chaire. From the minute you walk through the door it’s like coming home. Staff great us like old friends and the manager takes time to come and chat to us. We had advised that some in our party are vegan and rather than add a few more options to the menu, there was a complete and varied menu just for our vegan friends. Coffee on the lounge, cocktails in the bar, a fabulous meal and more coffee in the lounge. We have had two family wedding nags here and the place really is like a second home to us..... fabulous place; a lovely building in a great location. Great management and staff, food, ambience, this place has it all."

Le Mont de la Pulente, St Brelade, Jersey, United Kingdom
"The location of the hotel is by the sea, you can see the sea when you go out, and the environment is also very good, that is, there are no places to eat and shop around. There is a Michelin restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. When we went there were few tourists, and the hotel staff were very enthusiastic. not bad"

Mont De L'ecole, Saint Peter, Jersey, United Kingdom
"This hotel is really something special. We have visited before for an evening meal in 2016 The hotel has everything you could wish for. It is in an ideal location tucked away on a quiet country lane. The rooms are excellent with all the usual facilities expected at a four star establishment. The food served is excellent from breakfast until dinner. The staff are always genuinely pleased to serve your every need. We had a few issues with Flybe going into administration and we asked the manager for help in solving a few of our concerns. The manager, Carmelita Fernandes is a true asset to the Greenhills Country House hotel. She dealt with our requests with true professionalism and real honest compassion to make our unavoidable extended stay as pleasant as possible. We’ve visited Jersey since 1980 and I can honestly say look no further if you’re choosing a hotel in Jersey. You will not be disappointed. A true gem of a place with excellent staff. "
"This gem of a place is tucked away but worth hunting out. Beautiful building with roaring fires in the winter and understated elegance inside. Staff were very friendly. We only went for afternoon tea but it was beautifully presented, tasted fresh and home made particularly the scones, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. We were left alone unhassled which did prove a bit of an issue when we wanted a refill and to pay, but otherwise no complaints."
"We chose Greenhills to celebrate our special anniversary. We had stayed here many years ago. We have not been disappointed, in fact we feeling fantastic. Carmelita and her team have all been excellent. A special mention to Katia who looked after our booking with professional assistance. Rooms, restaurant and bar were brilliant, the chef and maitre d make the stay special. Look forward to our return. Thank you"

Route Du Coin, La Haule, St Brelade, Jersey, United Kingdom
"Our third stay at this wonderful hotel. My wife and I arranged a Friday nights stay with another couple and opted to upgrade to superior rooms. Unfortunately, we had to change the date and the only date we could all manage was Valentine’s Day and there were no superior rooms available. We needn’t have worried, our rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious and wonderful bathrooms with walk in shower. The hotels decor and cleanliness is faultless. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Before dinner we decided to go for a walk into St Aubin for pre dinner drinks and as we were leaving the receptionist told us to ring when we wanted to return and they would send their car to pick us up! What service. Just to add, dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will be back."
"Having stayed at this lovely hotel a few times last year I knew the excellent staff would make my stay relaxing and welcoming , I was not disappointed I booked for three nights ,sadly the Coronavirus outbreak was just beginning its dreadful journey and the rumours regarding lock down was confirmed by my contacts, who advised me to leave Jersey or risk being stranded, this was a no brainier, unfortunately as I was on a non refund deal I forfeited two nights of my stay hopefully I may receive a small concession during my stay in September when I will be assisting with the air display (this hotel is ideal for viewing the display planes at the airport) however early booking at this hotel is a must for this busy week"
"We recently enjoyed a staycation special offer at the Hotel La Place which included drinks upon arrival, meal in the evening and full breakfast before leaving. The hotel is absolutely amazing, from the beautiful decor to the wonderful service that each and every member of staff gave us. The rooms are very tasteful and could not be faulted - the evening meal was delicious as was the breakfast and we were very sad not to be staying for longer. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends and hopefully we'll be back ourselves for another visit very soon."

St Brelade's Bay, St Brelade, Jersey, United Kingdom
"What can I say, another amazing visit, even in these daunting times. We managed to spend a few days at L'horizon last week and honestly the staff could not have done anymore for their guests. Any fears they may have had were not apparent to guests and all precautionary measures were put in place seamlessly. The hotel, location, food and staff couldn't be beaten. Alina and Jakub to name a few are true assets to the hotel. We visit as a family and are made to feel like part of theirs. My 4 year old absolutely loves it, sonmuch so we have already booked to return for our 9th visit If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place to visit. The beach is literally on your doorstep but the whole island is your oyster. I really can't recommend this hotel enough. Thanks again and see you soon "
"Just spent a lovely weekend at l'Horizon just before Britain joined our neighbours in Europe with what can only be described as a lock down. So pleased it wasn't this next weekend when things would have gone pear shaped. We had a top floor room with a fantastic view over the bay- and what a wonderful view that was. The tides were very high when the wind got up and it was amazing to see just what a difference there was between low and high tide when the waves swept over the coastal path and over the windows. The staff were all without exception friendly and helpful making it a pleasure to spend time here. We look forward to returning to sample the delights at l'Horizon."
"The hotels position with the fabulous views over the bay make visiting Jersey very worthwhile on its own. Although our stay was in March the staff and standards were the same as on previous stays i.e. excellent. Look forward to returning soon"
