"My wife and I just stayed here (my second visit) and we will be back many times! In addition to being a very nice place with a great location and amenities (even during COVID), the staff is A++! Kathleen (a supervisor) is a star! She went above and beyond to help with a computer issue and made us feel special and appreciated—despite my need for some serious assistance that took some time during the evening hours (while she also took great care of several guest needs simultaneously). She was genuinely interested in us as people! The next morning, James (Operations Manager) was excited to hear about this experience and he made it clear (in a very sincere way) that we were important guests and that they look forward to welcoming us back—which they will in a couple of months! Fantastic staff that really cares and takes quality to the next level!! Looking forward to seeing more of this area and staying here again!!"
"My 9 day, hotel stay was outstanding! Location is on the Riverwalk in Naperville and steps from shopping, restaurants, salons and nice bars. I had a comfy bed and bedding, housekeeping staff was friendly and very accommodating and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. This hotel has easy, free, on site parking garage that made my stay feel safe and and simple to drive out. The security at this hotel is the best I have seen and I frequently travel to many hotels. The Manager James, was professional, kind, friendly, clearly cares about service and is definitely an asset to this hotel. Kevin, an evening manager was also very personable and attentive. Thank you and I look forward to returning to your hotel."
"We had a terrific stay in the perfect location in town. Staff was wonderful. The room was extremely clean and the building very secure. And, you can park steps from the front desk. We left a fairly expensive item in our room, called after check out. They didn't find it so credited our bill in the amount of the item-no questions asked. I am very impressed with the whole operation and in particular Kelly (sp) who was the one who checked us in and ultimately resolved our missing item issue. My family and I will definitely be back."

"My wife and I booked a Groupon overnight, and it was our first time at the CL. Check in was easy and it was easy to find our room (#114). The room had a HUGE whirlpool tub and a shower (one wall fixture and an overhead fixture for "steam". We never did figure out the steam part - the wall controls for it didn't seem to do anything (hence no sauna effect), but the shower was nice. We had the water temperature maxed out and could still stand under it with no discomfort, so a suggestion would be make it hotter! The decent sized bathroom had a toilet and bidet, but not a single towel rack. Odd. The bed was a king bed with 4 pillows. Most of the lighting controls for the room were on the headboard - but none were labeled, so we had to flip them on and off to figure out what they controlled. There was an electric fireplace next to the hot tub that I had to ask for help to get it turned on. Once I was told where the "on" switch was it was easy to control and added a little ambience, though a "luxury" place would had had a gas fireplace. The room had a small fridge and desk as well, and a small coffee maker and microwave. There was no coffee creamer, and only styrofoam cups (ceramic mugs would have been standard "luxury" items). The king bed could have used a blanket, though the heating unit in the place did a good job of regulating room temperature. The bed was hard for us, but we have memory foam at home. And the sheets/thin duvet seemed to be tucked in too short to cover us up all the way. One more thing to note was the dead bolt wouldn't lock - it was out of alignment. There was a manual safety latch on the door so nobody was getting in, but again, it's that "luxury" thing. There were too many little things that could have been better. We'd stay here again because it was "nice", but we wouldn't pay full price, and if we want "luxury" we'll go to that other place."
"I have reservation for a swimming pool suite in February and lord I pray no bugs I'm coming 5hrs away from home and all though I go off majority with reviews, there still is an unsatisfying amount of bug reviews... I pray this is not the case this place looks really nice"
"If I could leave no stars and a review I would. This was our first and last time staying at this place. We drove 3 hours to this place with the hope of having a nice worry-free stay. There wasn't a smoke detector in the room, a room that had an electric fireplace. The shower leaked from under the glass onto the floor making it very slippery. The vents were packed with black dust and there was mold in the shower. The phone that was in the room didn't even work. When we brought this to the attention of the office staff they shrugged off the smoke detector as a maid probably forgetting to put it back up after replacing the batteries. They said they would move us to a different room when we got back from dinner. That said room was sold and occupied when we got back to our room forcing us to stay in our dangerous room. The next day we spent exploring Chicago and when we got back to our room the young kid in the office inspected our room and stated that our room was obviously falling apart. He assured us that when he brought it to the attention of the manager in the morning he would find the room unacceptable and refund our stay. The room we were finally moved to reaked of cigarette smell, the kid employee was obviously flustered so we took pity on him and stayed in the room since we were guaranteed a refund. We had to take off at 8am the next morning to get ahead of the snow storm coming and we were assured the manager would call us at 9am to follow up and complete the refund. I called him at 10am myself to get my resolution. He said because we stayed he would only give us a $50 refund. Which tells me he wanted to quickly get rid of our complaint so he wouldn't be inconvenienced. I assured him that I would take it upon myself to contact the proper people to report the issues that I had i.e. the fire marshal for the fire detector and lack of a working phone to call 911. He then stated he would not be refunding any of our $330 since I would so that. If you have no standards and are looking to spend alot of money for a run down place that doesn't have any integrity, come to the Champagne Lodge. The pictures taken when they first opened are false and the resolutions one employee assures you with will not happen if you question the manager"

"A typical American hotel, the location is right for me, right next to the relatives' home. The air conditioning sound is a bit loud. Service hygiene is fine. After all, it is an old hotel, and overall is quite satisfactory."
"Location ok. The hotel is no slippers toothbrush, remember to bring it, others are fine, breakfast is like that, no surprises, anyway, are American country hotels, do not hesitate."
"Very good hotel."

"I picked this hotel because of its proximity to my work meetings and close proximity to activities. There is a mall, movie theater, and steakhouse/restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The hotel has free complimentary parking, which is directly outside of the hotel so I wouldn’t recommend valet for $18/night. Pros of the hotel include, 1) 3 Peloton Bikes in the Gym 2) Medium sized gym with newish equipment 3) Club Lounge has free waters/snacks available and different restaurants in the hotel have happy hour 4) Decent sized and updated rooms The one downside is definitely the elevators. I’ve stayed in several hotels where you have to tap your keycard to gain access to your floor but at this hotel you have to tap and hold for 5+ seconds. In my one night at the hotel I saw several people miss their floors simply because it took forever to get their key/floor recognized. My tip is to hold the door open until you’re recognized. "
"Hotel staff are amazing - especially Jacques, Sean, Kyle, and Anna - as well as housekeeping. The rooms are big, clean and modern. Food in the club-level lounge as well as El Tapeo (restaurant) is fantastic. Love the modern feel of the lobby and 9th floor restaurant. Oh, and gym with Peleton bikes is well-equipped. Location is great ... tons of restaurants/shopping w/in walking distance. I’ve been here the past week recovering from surgery, and I can’t say enough about this place. Thank you!"
"Le Meridien is not a total Marriott feel for me but the design, decor and layout of the hotel is very midcentury modern which is great! The concierge lounge is missing a lot. It doesn’t have the usual snacks you find in many Marriott hotels. This one is lacking it big time. The Spanish restaurant is awesome. We tried their paella and super loved it! Breakfast spread is so simple that I find it a bit on a bland side but our waiter is super friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff who checked us in was super friendly too. So, I guess staff are well trained to be able to assist guests nicely. If you are looking for an okay hotel with easy access to the malls and various restaurants in the area then this is the best hotel. We tried the next door Rock Sugar restaurant that serves Asian gourmet food and it was awesome! All staff there are attentive and food comes out on time and well prepared and very tasty! So there are lots of pluses still with this hotel location."

"Hotel has been maintained. Staff is friendly. Staff is eager to accommodate but they aren’t always able to. The value of the accommodations was great. The location was great. Tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. It’s a 30-45 minute drive from OHare(not during rush hour). Will definitely return. "
"I stay at a lot of hotels with vacationing and business. This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at. The staff went out of there way to make sure everything was great. The rooms were clean and big. I would stay here no questions asked!!"
"Excellent service over all. Very good stay at hotel. Hotel was providing daily shuttle to my office. Healthy breakfast, nice gym, good pool and much more happening at hotel. I will definitely comeback if I get a chance to come "

"I always opt for a Marriott hotel when I travel because they're so consistent...from the restaurant, general amenities and the room you can't go wrong. I had to go down to Joliet for work so opted to stay in the trendy Naperville. The room was very nice and clean with a large screen tv. The washroom is stocked with a good amount of towels and quality toiletries. The hotel gym is a decent size with a good amount of cardio equipment. The hotel was very accommodating with allowing me to have a package sent to the hotel for me. My only complaint is they didn't tell me until I arrived there was a holding fee. It ended up being $10 which isn't very hight but I might have opted for another option."
"This was an advanced high school reunion recently and they did a great job of accommodating a large group and serving a really delicious banquet; actually we were all very impressed with the quality of the dinner (chicken, steak or salmon). The arrangement had been made 6 months in advance and Amanda was easy and helpful to work with. They gave us a group rate and the accommodations were very nice. They have at 11 passenger van which they are willing to provide to take people to nearby locations including the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. We would recommend them to others."
"Checked in by Brittney (apologize if I misspelled your name) who at once noticed our Elite status. She politely reviewed the Covid guidelines with me and upgraded us on a lower floor so we could use the stairs instead of the elevators. She even lent us her personal umbrella ( which we returned sanitized) when the hotel was out of guest umbrellas. Perfect first impression and a perfect stay. Thank you."

"The price is very high, the surrounding environment is good, the room is big enough. The facilities in the various rooms are very good, the reception staff is also very enthusiastic, a little farther away from the city, traffic is more convenient when driving."
"Breakfast is very good, business trip is very cost-effective and worthwhile. The location of the hotel is mainly close to the exhibition hall where we are going to participate."
"Breakfast is general, the hotel design is very fun, like the Fujian Tulou, is a big ring shape, overall better. Is a bit far from the McCormick Pavilion"
