Top 10 Vassiliki Beach Hotels

We had booked a terrible villa in the hills which we left immediately and stayed in a local hotel for the first night while worked out where we could stay. The first morning I went for a run at sunrise to explore our options. I ran into this hotel and met Visiliki, hugely experienced and charming front of desk at 6.30am! She put me at ease immediately and sympathised hugely with our situation. She thought carefully how to help us. She managed to fit our family into a very busy booking schedule and so we booked our first 4 nights here. After the first two days we (including children aged 6, 11 &13 were so happy and extended our booking until our departure ie full 9 days. I am sorry to see some of the downbeat reviews appearing on trip advisor. I’ve been lucky enough to stay at some beautiful hotels around the world and I can say that the basics of this hotel are world class. - Visiliki, Aphrodite and other members of front desk are fully committed in their approach and willingness to ensure a wonderful stay. Visiliki went beyond and above! - the position, views and elevation are truly inspiring. - the bar and dining terrace with panoramic views incredible. The bar manager is very charming. - the infinity pool set against olive trees and panoramic views, again just wonderful. - the waterside deck and restaurant, simple, high quality and perfect for families. - room sizes are great, high ceilings, spacious bathrooms, marble and glass flowing throughout. Our air conditioning was great! So, I guess some people choose to get caught up in smaller maintenance issues and lose perspective. There is not doubt for the competitive room rates this hotel offers a slice of the best in the world. WE LOVE IT HERE. Keep up the great work Ionian Blue X
