Stayed 14 days as American tourists in a beach front Mexican business oriented hotel. With our limited Spanish and their English we communicated very nicely. Very quiet and relaxing. Public areas of the hotel were immaculate. Choose to include the breakfast buffet when you reserve the room. The buffet was great and their drinks and other meals were also good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants, a couple of ******s, and even a nightclub. The neighborhood is safe. There are many walkers, bikers and exercise enthusiasts along the walkway and public beaches. Since we stayed for 14 days, the hotel gave us a frig., bottled water, and daily coffee packets au gratis. The room had a great ocean view and was cleaned daily. (Make sure window tracts are cleaned and painted) The sink countertop was cracked and tub old but clean. Furniture was nice. The hotel is 20 years old and salt water has a toll on everything. Maintenance of painting the hotel, painting the wood posts in the pool area and the pool area itself is needed. A hotel concierge would be nice to arrange tours but we used Trip Advisor/Viator and our English speaking tours went well. The hotel is very well located and has everything you may need, as there is a shopping center in the lower part, where you will find restaurants, cafes, shops and cinemas. On the other hand, although it is not a beach hotel, it has a club where you can go and return with transportation from the hotel itself.

We had a very de pleasant stay at hilton garden hotel. Enrique Pulido, excelent waiter at Pool área, quality service and very kind . 5 to 7 is 2x1 on drinks so its a great option to enjoy the sunset. Nice view!

The only observation that is made to the hotel is the area of ​​the shower and bathroom, both are reduced, the drain of the shower is covered so it was necessary to remove the lid of the strainer since otherwise it would flood and the water leaves the shower area, they forget to leave you a rug or towel for the bathroom floor so it is dangerous. Something similar with the shower and the mixer, it was difficult to regulate the intensity with the temperature of the water (a lot of water came out but hot, and little water but cold) as for the shower it is very old, it lacks maintenance, the jet it provides is irregular, I think they change it to a normal shower where all the jets come out evenly. Reception had to be reminded of the towels for the floor and hands since they did not leave them when they cleaned the room. It seems to me that all the rooms have a balcony, which is great for having a coffee at any time of the day.

This hotel has carpark. We parked the car, checked in and went for the walk along the broadway of Veracruz-Boca del Río. Everything is fine in this hotel. Just that extra edge is missing for us to give all five stars.
