"This hotel is highly recommended. Whether it is from the location of the hotel, quality of service, infrastructure, it is perfect! My mom heard that Ctrip can write reviews, so let me write a good comment. The breakfast is quite rich and picturesque. The room is large, there are a lot of compartments, and the hotel is also quite thoughtful. Only you can't think of it, without them being prepared, I think I should be able to satisfy all kinds of discerning guests. In the winter, you can also have a fireplace. It’s really burning wood. My mom's favorite is the garden next to the hotel. It is free to enter the hotel. It is really super beautiful, all kinds of flowers, various amusement facilities, various restaurants, my mom has to go shopping every night. The hotel is in the center of the city, the traffic is very convenient, just buy something to walk, no need to take a taxi, what brand can be found around it. Maybe its appearance is not so conspicuous, but walking into the hotel will really shock you. I am also a very picky person, this hotel really makes me quite satisfied, strong Amway, very worthy of its price, do not hesitate."
"This hotel is expensive, but the equipment service is super good... There is also a swimming pool on the top floor. In the evening, only the customers who live in the hotel can play in the amusement park. And the hotel will light up at night, especially beautiful."
"Very good, near the train station, you can enter the park for free, children add 1500"

"We visited a weekend in December - it was our second time at Kurhotel Skodsborg; since we have moved to Copenhagen, this spa hotel has become a conveniently located weekend getaway place for us. We like the spa - there are a great selection of spa facilities and it permits overnight guests to access the facilities for both days. We joined a saunagus with Ivan and it was truly a magical experience (including a quick dip in the sea in December!); we highly recommend joining this small-fee events at the spa if you like sauna - this is truly a magical experience. On the other side, the rooms are small in size, bathroom floor is cold (more of a problem in winter) and hair dryers in rooms really need replacing (these are very basic dryers which easily catch your hair and burn if not careful). Karmameju amenities in rooms are in dispensers rather than individually bottled - which, some may agree (less plastic) but others may not like. Breakfast is ok - simple and fresh but may be for everyone’s taste. Overall, this is a hyggelig hotel - and with the right expectations, it is a good place to enjoy a hyggelig weekend with lovely ones."
"Meet the expectations? More or less. The expectations were quite high. On arrival the parking was in quite a distance. However it is underground. Just be aware that you have a chance to get attacked by nest building birds, an slip and slide in bird poop Fast check in. No information what so ever about breakfast, dinner surroundings. Nothing! The Spa-room with sea view and a huge balcony Is very good. Match the price.. The room ha everything! Accept soap in the shower, and limited coffee powder. The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together. That annoys me to insanity! The spa is no less than excellent. The variety is great, and the precautions in terms of COVID 19, fantastic! Breakfast sucks. I agree with other reviews. Pre-made to early and it’s notable. The option to go the sea, in your bathrope, take a swim or just enjoy the view. Stunning! Outside dinner with service from the bar- Excellent! Great attention! Two young waiters, went out of their way to make sure that you were comfortable! Will probably be back. However, ATTENTION TO DETAIL!! "
"What a great hotel and SPA facilities! We loved it and will return for sure. Hotel was very nice, clean and respectful of covid restrictions. SPA is simply wonderful and it was very well organized. Breakfast was delicious as well as dinner we had in Carl Brasserie. Our room had a sea view which was perfect! The staff were very helpful and kind, from reception to the restaurant. Special thanks to a lovely lady in reception who found our lost phone and returned it to us :) Thank you once again, we cannot wait to return!"

"This hotel has the family run feel to attarct travellers escaping the chain hotels. The rooms are well laid out and the service overall good, although that does vary from one receptionist to the next. For Copenhagen that is par for the course, all hotels and restaurants seem to struggle with stafing and they resort to taking on very young, inexperenced and sometimes brusque staff. Avoid rooms over the restaurant if possible and the North-East corner, the latter has an loud fan cooling the basement and at night that becomes very loud. To become 'Very Good' Skovshoved has to impeove its breakfast; during our stay we quickly decided to go elasewhere as with ten to twenty guests the hotel had one young chef doing everything and several guests culd not find any crockery or cutlery. many tables were left uncleared - always unappetising - hot food became cold, fruits withered...all unsatisfactory at this price range. Worst was despite having a good coffee machine they leave a pot of ready made coffee for self service. One or two more staff, better food production and thes eproblems would be solved."
"Stayed here in order to attend a friends 50th and loved it - very informal and personal welcome/check-in - everything is very relaxed - we had beautiful room on 1st Floor with very large balcony with impressive sea view etc.. Food at the party (and breakfast) was amazing (especially the seafood) - highly recommend - if you are looking to get away from it a bit i.e. not close to 'downtown' but at the same time it's not unreachable either - definitely a very special place - thanks ;-)"
"I stayed at the hotel for night during a business trip. The staff was very friendly, and check-in fairly quick. The room was clean and spacious. The TV had some English channels, wifi was reliable and fast. As usual in hotels, I found the bed too hard. Also as usual in hotels, it was rather noisy. This was partially due to the not terribly solid and thick-walled build of the hotel (just your standard, thin walls), and the fact that my room was close to a kitchen vent. Breakfast was good, with a decent buffet selection. No coffee was served, I'm not sure why. But there's plenty of coffee houses in the city."

"I stayed at this hotel, which is very well located, close to the main attractions in a stylish part of the city. The lobby, and even the common area restrooms, are over the top elegant, warm and welcoming. The bathrooms I mentioned are a series of single use, unisex stalls with floor to ceiling walls, furnished with old style toilets and ceiling high water tanks. I stayed in two different rooms because my trip was split with a visit to Germany. In the first part of the trip they gave me a room that seemed smaller than what I had reserved, with a queen bed instead of king, and the bed was very close to the corridor door, and since the rooms are not carpeted, sometimes it was a little noisy, but I corrected that by turning on rain sounds on my phone. The second room was bigger, nicer, quieter and more pleasant. Some of the drawbacks about this hotel was that everything was designed in such a fashionable way that lacked practicality, and I'm a stickler for smart design. There was very little storage space, the table side tables were very small and low to the ground with very little room for book, phone, water glass. The room service is very limited, which was disappointing for a hotel as expensive as this. One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to order room-service breakfast but all they have are hampers filled with dry foods, and their restaurant breakfast offer was very limited. I often went to a cafe next door to eat breakfast. The oddest thing about this hotel was the bathrooms. There's a small glass partition separating the shower and the sink, but the side facing the toilet is completely open. Every single time I took a shower, water splashed everywhere, flooding the floor and soaking the toilet paper rolls and towels. It's a very poor design choice. Overall, I wished I had stayed at the Hotel D'Angleterre, around the corner."
"Overall service was quite good from check-in to check-out. A few areas for improvement: Drinks were slow to come sometimes in the lounge area and it didn’t seem to be a custom to ask if you wanted a second one. When we went for a somewhat early breakfast (745), we had to wait around for someone to show up to help us. I agree the times were inconsistent- we went for dinner in the Kitchen well before closing time and were told the staff had to check with the chef if he would serve us. Ultimately, however, we did eat there, and it was quite good, as was the breakfast. Our room was quite lovely though reaching the shade to open it was challenging. Each day the water carafe was filled - once with lemon water, once with mint - a nice touch. I don’t recommend the dormer rooms; we both bumped our heads repeatedly, and I’m very petite. I liked the robes, towels and slippers- very luxurious and comfortable. Could use an extra trash can in the room. In any event, I liked the comfortable, unique feel of place - like a country inn or private home - and would stay there again. "
"What a nice hotel! Luxurious in a cozy way. The location close to Kongens Nytorv is perfect. Quiet area, but still very central. Many cozy places to sit down for a drink, both on the top floor, the nice bar and in the reception area. And the front of the hotel is also a nice area to sit with a cup of coffee. An ordinary doubleroom is a bit small, the superior was super. Great service in the reception, and the bartenders were very helpful. Handwritten note on the pillow when we came back for the evening - small things like that made us feel special. I willl definitely stay here the next time I visit Copenhagen."

"Copenhagen hasn’t always been known for great hotels unless you want to spend a fortune. Therefore I decided to book at “ staycation “ with myself and my daughter for one night at the new hotel Villa . Which is conveniently located 50 Meters from central station and located near everything. We walked into a beautiful reception area and were helped right away. Got the keys ( which you will need to get the elevator to go up ) nice touch if you like security. Our room was located on the 3 Ed floor and was easy to find . Our room was not only just clean, it was clean clean. Had a lovely bathroom with a double shower and a bathtub big enough for two . The bedroom had a hot water heater and a coffee makers . A little mini fridge which is big enough for a liter of milk ( in case you drink a lot of coffe n milk like myself ) . After dinner we went to pool which is a single lane however it is 25 Meters long and it was heated . ( don’t know if it is in the summer ) In the morning we went down to collect our breakfast which by the way was free. Due to corona the hotel had to make paper bags with fresh bread, cheese , ham , yougurt and you can order a Latte if you would like. The staff goes over and beyond . They always have a smile on their face and again the hotel is extremely clean all over . I have stayed in many hotels in Las Vegas and Villa is most definitely at the same standard then a hotel room say Encore . The rooms are a bit smaller but that is pretty normal and they have air conditioning and heating in the rooms . So if your planing a business trip or just a vacation you should definitely stay at Villa. You will not be disappointed!"
"It all started 2 days before our arrival. I got a message from hotel to book our breakfast(Corona stuff) and suddenly also to book our 15 minutes per day to enjoy the pool. First of all, I called right after the new restrictions and asked is the pool still working and how does it work. No one ever mentioned 15 minutes per day. Second of all, 15 minutes? Really? We also travelled with the dog, so we payed equivalent of 500 DKK for dog stay, which I would assume includes cleaning services, dog bed, snacks and bowl. Neither bowl, nor bed was there. I went to reception and asked politely - in 24h bed and bowl never reached us. They offer 24/7 sms service, which as an idea is really cool, but in reality useless. I asked specifically about the bath robes, knowing I have my magical 15 minutes of pool time. Answer came 24h later, when I already have left from my home. Knowing that it is a 5 start hotel, bathrobes did not seem like a luxury thing to ask. Upon our arrival, bathrobes were not there, when I went to ask where are they, I got another excuse and reason that their supplier is late and so on. Have to be honest, could not care less, since for this amount of money, this is really not my problem. Same story with flip-flops for going to the pool, because obviously in the winter you won't be putting your winter boots on your wet legs. Guess what, another excuse about how sustainable the hotel is, but for 120DKK a pair, they will forget about sustainability and provide you with flip-flops. Hotel is located centrally, right next to train station. For us personally, it was not the main reason to book, but there comes another problem for those with cars. So let's start a game of finding a parking lot in Capital of Denmark. Of course you can always pay 500 DKK for valley and this problem will be solved, or park in a public area (as we did) and pay 380 DKK. Luxury in all it's beauty! The best part again, no one ever mentioned that it's either this or that, no tips on a page from hotel, of course, it's made to get as much money out of you as possible. I won't be complaining about the room, it is indeed very nice, filled with expensive Danish designs, comfortable beds, lovely cups, coffee maker, tea can, amazing bath lotions, shampoos and so on. Cleanliness on the other side leaves you hoping for the best. Black hair in our bed(none of us have long black hair), dirty glasses and dirty bowl that has cotton pads and q-tips. There are some great features and an idea, but some of them are either not accustomed to 21st century or are not working because of bad customer service. I do not suggest this hotel for an amount of money we spent. It is NOT worth it. We stayed there from 14.02-15.02 in a room 1104. 1 thing I forgot to mention, because it was our anniversary, we got a nice hand cream as a present, so that was nice."
"This is the former Copenhagen main post office and postal directorate. And you find cool relics of that and great patina in the stairways. Otherwise everything has been cleverly redesignet into a huge but friendly 5* hotel with a great location and a fancy 25m pool on the roof! The staff was very helpful and the pick-up corona breakfast excellent. We enjoyed the remote railway sounds; but if you are sound sensive, perhaps you want to ask for a room not facing the tracks. We did find the lights in the room quite confusing and not intuitive. But other than that we were very happy with this “Villa” ! "

"A historic hotel, taking a taxi from the airport for the past 300 yuan. The first time I met a hotel room, there was a gauge cylinder. The younger brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic. When we left, let us take the subway and give me a road map. Hotel accommodations seem to be mostly business people. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Little Mermaid. The door is the bar restaurant street. Eating at the Nordic level is not particularly expensive. All the fundamental Hagen attractions are around the hotel. There is no need to take a bus to take a bus. The location is great."

"The hotel breakfast is really amazing. There are actually herring steaks, soaked in garlic sauce, the taste is absolutely amazing. Yogurt with a variety of raspberries, accompanied by eating, tastes pure, without any processed taste, it is really pure large fruit without adding. The bread is also delicious, sandwich jam bread baked by yourself. There is a lake behind the hotel, you can go for nothing, Nordic style, and contact with nature. The only disadvantage is that it is a little far from the Central Station, but if the luggage is not very large, walking is acceptable, about 800 meters. Easy shopping around. Personally, in order to taste breakfast, I can go to live once."

"Especially good... I recommend everyone to stay. Although I don't know why it is so expensive...but the hotel itself is fine. The rooms are spacious, with a clear layout, beautiful views and cleanliness. Built on the riverside, there is a large terrace, and the scenery has not been said. The location is not bad, the train station is seven or eight minutes away! Going to various attractions also depends on the legs. There seems to be no special supermarket nearby, but there will be a lot of it in ten minutes, so it is convenient! The room is actually very old, the table and the window sill are broken, but the cleaning is very clean. There are a lot of small commodities that are sold, and the video is used for a long time. They can be found in the elevators. There are also many people in the hotel. It is estimated that there is cooperation. In short, Copenhagen is very good, Marriott is also a good choice, it is worth everyone to experience."
"The location is more than 1 kilometer from the city center, there is no store nearby, it is relatively deserted, but the victory is in a good environment, the water view room is full of scenery. The meal in the morning is also very good and there are many kinds of fruits. The worst thing is that the toilet is not well drained, blocked, there is no shower room, only a bathtub, the water temperature adjustment is very troublesome, the decoration is a bit old, the bathroom has to be re-made, the room is still big, but it does not look like 36 square meters, feeling up to 30 square feet"
"The price is high, the room and breakfast are not comparable to the domestic five-star, but the location and the scenery outside the window. I bought a Copenhagen 2nd transportation card, and it is very convenient to take the 66 and 5C buses to the various attractions. However, the core area of Copenhagen is really small. The main scenic spots are not too far away. The hotel is only 7 or 8 minutes away from the Central Railway Station and the Tivoli Park. It is more than 20 minutes from the city center. The 150DKK transportation card Not very cost-effective."

"We LOVED our stay at Charlottehaven!! Great LOCATION- only a couple of very short train stops from nearly everything. The actual hotel is quiet and in a neighborhood (which we enjoyed). It is still very much in the city. The trains were very easy to navigate. I loved being able to take a quick ride into the hustle bustle of Tivoli or near Nyhavn without having to stay in the middle of those chaotic areas. We loved being able to return to the comfort of our place at Charlottehaven. THE UNIT - clean and comfortable: we were on the 2nd floor facing the courtyard/park (I echo other reviewers and agree that this was a great option for those who prefer quiet evenings- it was super quiet throughout our stay)! Bed was firm and huge- very comfortable. I loved the space- every detail was highly functional. We opted for a welcome grocery pack and it proved very helpful upon our arrival. AMENITIES- excellent gym and sauna!!! I cannot say enough about these facilities! They were very clean, great/updated equipment, good layout, and flexible hours. Plus, reception provided towels and locker keys on request. STAFF- very helpful, attentive, and friendly. The chef offered a take-away Christmas Menu for Christmas Eve and we are so glad we were able to enjoy it! The menu was absolutely delicious! We are still talking about the meal nearly a week later! It was a thoughtful option for visitors who were spending the holiday traveling. Charlottehaven was a great value and a perfect place for us to stay while in Copenhagen. It’s conveniently located, and offers the perfect blend of apartment living and hotel services. Front desk was always very helpful- provided tea light candles, laundry pods, local recommendations, etc. The gym & sauna are epic! We would definitely return to Charlottehaven!"
"I loved the apartment in the upper floors (261) which I rented for one night. It had great views in all directions, two balconies, an amazing semi-open floorplan, wonderful beds, and attractive modern decor. It wasn't exactly cheap, but the price was fair for the incredible roominess and comfort. My only complaint was the heat-pump that had an annoying constant standby whine--I just turned it off, didn't need it anyway. Be advised these apartments do sell out quickly, best to make your reservation well in advance. Breakfast was relatively limited but still enough to choose from, and all of good quality. The underground parking garage was very spacious and convenient. Good service at reception, breakfast service slightly understaffed."
"We stayed at Charlottehaven for a 4 night stay in Copenhagen & very much enjoyed the spaciousness & cleanliness of this well-equipped apartment with access to a first class health club with lap pool. The bath products by Molten Brown were especially nice quality. All reception employees were super helpful & friendly. The underground parking was even included! Our room had a nice view to the harbor & spacious balcony. The Nordhavn metro & S-Tog station were very close for easy travel all around Copenhagen. A great stay!"
