It’s been a year now since I started staying at Miss Blanche a number of days a week for my work in Groningen and it’s been wonderful. The rooms as not only very clean (cleaning is excellent, every day) and well maintained but also warm and inviting at the same time. And what is nicer than coming into your hotel room after a long days work and finding the lights on and such a beautiful Christmas tree in your room as a welcome. But what makes it feel like a home away from home is the always friendly and kind staff. Whether it was during the heart of the lock-down or during other months when Miss Blanche is very busy, whoever is is at reception or cleaning, they are always kind and professional. The location is excellent, right in de heart of the city with beautiful views of the canals from many of the rooms and suites. And the canals are beautiful with lighting decorations this time of year.

This hotel is quite new and it shows – the renovation standard is high. Nice ambience. Our Deluxe room we had featured an en-suite bathtub which gave the room a very unique feel. The hotel staff is helpful and polite. Good and varied breakfast. A couple of things: - A bottle labelled ”body lotion” turned out to contain shower gel. So when I applied it I had to take shower again. I guess, someone on the refill-duty didn't pay attention, hehe. - We stayed as a family of three – however, initially we only got one big towel. Both of the things mentioned above were resolved, but noting them down here for the hotel's improvement. Additionally the hotel is located ”in the middle of it all” and most of the attractions can be easily reached on foot. Very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would very much like to visit again.

An excellent hotel with big, clean rooms, friendliness of the staff and all the amenities you would expect. Great buffet breakfast and dinner options at the restaurant. First time I was given a digital room key and the ability to perform e-check in. Slightly off the town center, but right next to the bus terminal which take you there in 10 minutes. Has the option to rent bikes as well, which we did! This hotel is a perfect choice for Groningen.

Located in the center of the small city of ASSEN, it is close to the train station, and it is convenient to enter and exit; because it is late, it does not feel the excitement of this city center. The front desk is in the corner of the restaurant downstairs, saying that it is because of the renovation; when the elevator is upstairs, the elevator is a manual file, you must always let go to your floor. The room was short and crowded, but the decoration was a bit special; there was a wall-mounted air conditioner that was always on, blowing out a bit of sour cold wind, I pulled it out; but the floor heating facilities in the bathroom were still warm.

Breakfast 19 euros, 17 euros in advance, good location, 10 minutes walk from the city center, the only drawback is that wifi is not good, special card and slow, can not download and upload photos. Special praise for Ctrip.com's overseas booking is quite good, the price is reasonable, and the customer service is particularly eager to deal with it.

Very large hotel. Spacious room and bathroom with bath, separate shower and toiletries. Sliding door gives access to shared outdoor space (balcony). We had food in the bar and we really enjoyed it, reasonably priced. Pool table and dartboard in bar area but slightly tucked away. The pool and wellness facilities are free and really well maintained. Very clean and lots of choice: salt sauna, herb sauna, Finnish sauna, hamam, infrared sauna, foot baths and snow shower. Towels are provided and there are free lockers in the changing rooms. Changing rooms are not mixed. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of august. It a nice hotel with an excellent terrace lokated at the Paterswolde lake. You can rent a bicycle. It’s nice biking around the lake or to the centre of town (15 minutes by bike). Rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is OK. Covid measures are clearly visable and well maintaned. 1 of the advantages of covid is that, if you’r in time with reserving the pool, you have the whole indoor swimmingpool one hour for yourself. There are only four people allowed at the same time. In summary. Good place to stay. If you intend to do al lot in the city centre you may want to take a hotel downtown.

We chose to stay here whilst attending a wedding party with relatives. We had struggled to find a hotel in Groningen as there was a famous band playing and accommodation was either scarce or expensive. So although a little drive away, this hotel fitted the bill. There is free parking for guests and this is located around the hotel block. The reception staff were friendly and booking in was convenient and hassle free. The rooms are well presented and clean, with shower rooms and tea and coffee making facilities available. Within the complex there are a number of bars and restaurants as well as play areas and an arcade area. Although we never participated, there was entertainment and children’s activities on offer as well as swimming, bikes to hire, a spa and bowling. In our country we would call this a holiday camp rather than a hotel. The buffet breakfast was lovely and lots of outdoor seating available. We loved our stay here and although brief, we would consider coming back should we have a need to visit The Netherlands in the future. Thank you 🙏
