"We spent two nights at this TownePlace Suites, which are one of my favorite Marriott brands in view of the "suite" format (sitting area and kitchenette). We had stayed at a TownePlace Suites in Big Spring, Texas five nights previous on this "road trip". The property is relatively new and nicely located near Saltgrass and Chuy's (walking distance). I should note there there are some issues in navigating the I-35 / Highway 6/340 loops where the property is located. However, once you get the hang of it and your directions sorted out, you do just fine. Front desk folks were professional, courteous and helpful. Actually, outstanding. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite (spending all those nights in Marriott properties does pay off) and it was excellent. Clean, well laid out, comfortable as well as being very functional for an extended stay. There was a hot breakfast that was well-prepared with a variety of both hot and "cold" choices. The eating area is clean and the staff was very friendly. Overall, an excellent choice."
"Contemporary Euro feel this hotel is incredibly comfortable and welcoming whether you are on business or just traveling cross country. Efficient use of room space. Huge shower, kitchenette, large closet, small couch, king sized bed. Attractive decor. Good workspace. Friendly and knowledgeable front desk. Good breakfast. Kudos. "
"Wonderful hotel clean and beyond friendly staff! You can tell the culture of this team is what every business should have! Karli the GM personally greeted us at check in and breakfast the next morning and made us feel welcome!"

"they set the tone wrong when we were quoted a group rate price for a party we were traveling to Waco for and then they did not honor it. the manager on duty would not even talk to us and when I called on Monday when we got home-they said too bad I signed the agreement Friday night to pay the full wrong rate. When I refused to sign the paper at check in because the room rate was wrong -they said that they wouldn't give me the key-but to just sign it and they will have the manager look at it it on Monday-I actually made that notation on the paper at check in that I was only signing this to get the key and they still did not honor my quoted group rate-buyer beware is all I have to say. Hotel is just Ok and it is not worth the price they charge. Its just not a $300-$400 hotel at all. Plus no breakfast included which is very uncommon in hotels today. they seem to try to get the Silo business because you can walk-but there are other hotels close by with better rates and breakfast. "
"Absolutely the best location in Waco. Easy on/off major highways and walking distance to Spice Village, MLK Riverwalk and Silos. Ferrell Centre is a 3 minute drive. Hotel Indigo was an absolute oasis during our recent visit to Waco. Staff were all friendly and extremely helpful, hotel was bright and airly. Rooms were large, very well laid out and perfectly maintained. Even with all this, the thing that impressed us most was Indigo's corporate citizenship commitment. It was visible and genuine, profiling community partners on a rotating monthly basis. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and others in the chain, well done!"
"I appreciate this hotel chain for its simplicity, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The location is in an area where you can go for a walk after a long drive in to the city. Precautions are taken given the COVID-19 situation. I was able to order a good meal to take to my room and it was well packaged. Sit-down dinning is also available with social distancing."

"Stayed 2 nights. Very comfortable hotel and nicely decorated. Only issue for us was room not serviced second night. We left room late morning and advised person cleaning rooms on floor that we were out of room. Person made error on their room log and did not service the room. I was surprised that there was no administrative check of the rooms to verify that they had been serviced. Day manager was apologetic. I would stay here again."
"The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the price was great. The breakfast was much better than expected, better than other similar priced hotels. I really enjoyed the stay. The only negative is the gym was lean on weights, limited free weights an no machines."
"Nice place-close to (Salo's Magnolia st\hops) Service was good/friendly and helpful. But I did get the suite and I have been to many Fairfield/Marriott places across US and this one needs to be updated! Small compared to others. It was clean. Just old-coach in room was dirty, we put the extra sheet on it when using."

"We stayed one night as we were passing thru and wanted to see a little of Waco. Very conveniently located near interstate, Baylor U, Magnolia market, downtown, Dr Pepper museum, suspension bridge. Short walk or short drive. A lot of street parking available. Cool view from the hotel parking lot of the Baylor football stadium. There is a Salvation Army homeless shelter between hotel and Magnolia but we experienced no issues. There’s a half court basketball area but the backboard was busted. There’s a decent outdoor patio area though. Rooms were clean, modern, roomy, quiet. The kids loved being in our ‘studio apartment like’ room with the living area and kitchenette. Overall the location is great and is clean. Staff is friendly as well. Despite a few flaws we would consider staying here again if the price is right."
"We stayed at the Residence in for a week in March 2020. We picked this hotel due to its close location to Magnolia Market. At check in the staff were awesome and even accommodated us showing up very early. Our room was a one bedroom suite which was perfect for our small family. The kitchen enabled us to buy groceries and the separate bedroom allowed us to put the toddler to bed while we relaxed. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor area as well. The breakfasts were standard with fresh fruit and yogurt. The nice bonus was the complimentary meals at supper time. The lady who cooks these meals did an awesome job and we found we did not need to worry about supper on most nights. Her lasagna and chicken spaghetti were my favorites. Also the complimentary beer and cheese cake were awesome. During our stay here I found the staff to be extremely friendly and willing to help out any way they could. The hotel is a bit dated but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was handy. I would return to this hotel if staying in Waco."
"Agree that the staff is very friendly and helpful! It is a customer focused hotel, which is A true treat. Terry at the front desk made us feel so welcome and valued. What a perfect person to have as the first impression. Yes, the hotel is ready for an update but it is clean, safe and management is planning an update in the Spring. The railroad tracks are close but all hotels within walking distance to the Silos have the same issue. We did not hear any trains late at night or early morning. We recommend this hotel based on their exemplary focus on the customer."

"We always bring an air mattress with us when we travel because the beds in most hotels hurt our back. We didn't even get the air mattress out the bed was so comfortable. When we were checking in Alvin asked if we were there for any particular reason and when I said it was my birthday he gave us a room with a lovely view and several food recommendations. Everyone we spoke to at the hotel was very friendly. This was one of the best hotel experiences in the last few years."
"I took myself, my husband, and 27 FCCLA students this February to stay at the Hilton due to our conference being located there. It was a wonderful stay and the hotel, staff, location, and amenities were amazing. They were professional and helpful at all times and they treated my students like honored guest. Thank you again for an amazing stay. I will definitely stay here again!!"
"Hilton chain brand, similar standards everywhere. This hotel in Waco is not bad, right by the river, facing Waco's first cross-river bridge and herd of cattle sculptures, in a good environment. It is 5 minutes walk to the center of the city, there are many restaurants around and it is convenient to eat."

"This hotel opened in September of 2019. Was a very nice stay and all the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Room was clean and, even though the rooms are not cleaned daily due to the Covid Pandemic, you could ask for the service or just get clean towels. The bar and restaurant had just opened backup a couple of weeks ago and were not at full operation. However, limited staff were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Especially the bar tender who was also the evening cook. Way overloaded but, he did an expert job."
"Based on the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to stay at his this hotel for two days. The overall experience was very good! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Their are several restaurants close by the hotel and a few of them were in walking distance from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was open. The hotel has plenty of parking. The lobby is very nice. "
"Location is excellent: southeast of Waco just off I-35. Hotel was very clean and attractive. I arrived just before midnight. The personnel at the front desk was very accommodating and pleasant. The room was fresh, clean and QUIET! Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in room."

"Everything was Tiptop! And the room was well Above expectations! The sliding frosted glass bathroom door..The hidden shower drain...remote ex-host fan...wrap around couch...9ft ceilings...soft but firm bed...large back-lit mirror...no under-window A/C unit...sliding glass shower doors...And i loved the huge floor-to-ceiling window with black-out and diffuser...we had a wonderful experience! "
"We stayed here on our way to Canyon Lake for vacation. Great location, nice clean lines in the hotel. Fresh looking and new. Loved the updated automatic blinds in the room (no more horrible cloth black out curtains). Comfortable room and bed. Roomy and quiet ac. Staff was really nice. Practiced social distance with taste and professionalism. If we stay over in Waco again, we'll stay here."
"We were very pleased with this hotel. Everything was clean, rooms were great and staff were extremely helpful. We were allowed to make reservations to use the workout area and pool which was very nice, didn't have to share the space with others during COVID. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Waco!"

"We had a unique accommodation request and everything went great. I want to especially thank everyone who assisted me with our booking and also made us feel very welcome: Keosha, Tiffany, Tricia, Ariel, and Haley. One thing we always notice about being in Waco is how polite and friendly people are, especially in the service industry. Covid-wise we felt safe enough to be here for 4 days. Breakfast is buffet but served by staff in styrofoam containers. Personally, I would like to see the staff doing the sanitizing so I am assured it is taking place. I was especially impressed with the amount of communication and information from Hilton. I was made aware of sanitation practices and changes regarding housekeeping. Upon entering the room with the virtual key card, I was convinced it was clean and sanitized. I give Hilton very high marks. A great stay overall and we plan to return in a few months."
"My husband and I stayed two nights while touring Waco and visiting friends. The location was nice. Other similar hotels all in one area. The lobby area was nice and appeared relaxing. I was a little surprised in the room. It was nice. Separate bedroom and bath. The furniture looked nice, but you felt like you were sitting on stone. The bathroom tub had those 80’s style sliding doors which could have been a little cleaner. The bed was very hard. Not a good match for someone with joint and arthritis problems. I wish more hotels would keep mattress foam toppers on hand for guests like me who need them. All that said, our stay was good. "
"Really enjoyed the hotel and accommodations. Would definitely not mind staying here again in the future. Very nice 2 room suite which was great for a family of 5 and our emotionally support animal. Did not check in soon enough to take advantage of the complimentary social."

"The property is located near I-35 and Loop 340 (Highway 6) which makes travel in/out and about town very efficient. The property was clean and very well maintained. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and the offerings as expected. The décor in the rooms was definitely minimalist compared to other HI Express locations. Sleeping machines were just fine. Bath facilities were good and the TV was also good. This is a very business friendly property, but families should like it as well."
"This location is very nice. The hotel is only 5-6 years old. Very clean and attractive. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. Every person working there spoke and was very friendly. The gentleman at the front desk, Cameron, was very professional, friendly and really worked to accommodate my request. Thank you, Cameron! I recommend this hotel."
"We made reservations on the fly while driving to the coast. Easy fast check in, no issues at all. Very friendly staff, they actually smile and engage with you. The rooms had a very nice updated decor. Comfortable bed and clean. They offer hot breakfast and the staff was on it when items ran out. Waco is a great place to visit. Will be back! "
