The staff was a bit flustered as I think I was the first foreigner to stay in the hotel since before the pandemic, however they were super accommodating and friendly. The room was nice and clean. However, I was a bit disappointed that the no smoking signs in the lobby were not being enforced. I felt like I was suffocating in the elevator because someone had been smoking in there and the smell lingered.

Perfect location, just above the ifs mall. Wonderful view if the weather is good. Services are professional.

With a tube station just downstairs, getting to visit the city is very convenient. There is also a good selection of restaurants in the small mall, a ”Cha Yan Yue Se” (popular tea shop) which doesn't require long to queue at all. Breakfast is super too, with a nice range of food. There's also a coffee machine in the room so we could grab a cup of coffee if needed. The staff is super friendly and helped with booking a spa treatment, some visits around the city. As the taxi driver that took us back to the hotel said, it is the best hotel in Changsha.

Going out is the grass market, convenient for eating and shopping. There is a side entrance to the Tongguanyao scenic spot, which is very convenient. Guests staying in the hotel are not limited in the number of times of entry and exit. They will also be sent to the scenic area fast track. Xiaocai and Xiaopan have a good attitude and give the children yogurt to eat. Come again next time!

The room was clean and tidy, the proprietress turned on the air conditioner 1 hour in advance, and the room was very warm. The outdoor pool for hot springs is large and can be soaked for 12 people at the same time. We are a hot spring at 8 o'clock in the evening, and the water temperature is good and comfortable. There is karaoke in the lobby on the first floor. This time, the friends gathering is very hi, and the next hot spring gathering will come.

The service of this W hotel in Changsha is one of the best which I visited the same group in Hong Kong or other Asian countries before. Rooms is very modern and good decide for User friendly. The location is also very excellent as shopping and restaurant inside the same building which is good as usual

I have never lived in an InterContinental, and the first stay was dedicated to Changsha. Overall very satisfied! The front desk service is very comfortable. After checking in, he personally guided us to the elevator. The 270-degree river view in the room couldn't be more comfortable as shown in the picture, and the extended balcony can feel the river view more intuitively. The location of the InterContinental is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, there is a jogging track downstairs, and the greenery is also very comfortable. The swimming pool and gym are also very good~ I planned to go for a swim, but it turned out that I just ate, drank and chatted with my friends, and running and swimming were useless~ Stay in the exclusive business balcony room, as well as the privileges of the executive lounge. You would expect a 5 star hotel to be clean and provide excellent service… however we were disappointed especially after my friend recommended me to stay here since he was here a month ago. First thing I noticed was a wet floor after entering the guest lobby, thankfully they cleaned it after I told them. Second was our room was not clean, other than the basics like clean sheets and bathroom but the main table wasn’t wiped and they didn’t even vacuum the floor (especially the carpet) at check in and the day after. When we were checking in, the reception staff did not even inform us of how to access the wifi (maybe it is assumed to be common sense) nor did they let us know that we had late check out, had free mini bar soft drinks and we also had no welcome note (these small touches may seem minuscule since the TV says welcome however you would hope that an extra mile is taken at a great brand like JW Marriott). I hope these issues are able to be rectified for other guest, after all information and attentiveness is king in the service industry. The location is also not the most central but that is a personal preference given my short trip! I will have to give a special mention to the male receptionist that helped us a lot with our alipay, thank you again 😊
