"Called in for coffee, a mid September Sunday. Our last visit was probably 15 years ago. The approach road is through beautifully tended grounds, past the (man made) lake. Inside the, the hotel is very well looked after - as are the guests! We were greeted at the door and shown to a lounge area which we had to ourselves. Coffee and delicious biscuits were quickly delivered to the table. On departure we had a walk round the grounds and the attention to detail is obvious. We will be returning to eat in the near future!"
"We loved our overnight stay and dinner at Brockencote Hall. The young staff gave lovely, friendly service in the hotel, bar and restaurant and we felt welcomed and well cared for. Special mention goes to the chef as dinner and breakfast were exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning."
"Plenty of parking space. From reception to bedroom the service was very good. Both bedroom and bed were large and very comfortable. Views from the bedroom overlooking fields was very pleasant indeed. The food in the restaurant was excellent, well presented and very enjoyable. We can recommend this hotel ."

"At a time when the hospitality industry is struggling to survive and it’s so hard to celebrate any occasion, six of us had a most enjoyable dinner bed and breakfast at this charming hotel. We had a private room and a hostess, Jade who provided service to a quite exceptional standard. Service was attentive but not intrusive, food was served beautifully and the standard of cuisine very high. Breakfast the next morning was in the same private room served by the same hostess and again, the food was excellent. Our room was most comfortable and presented to a high standard of decor and cleanliness. Thank you Stone Manor..and especially Jade...for making a celebratory dinner, restricted in numbers by current rules, an otherwise most enjoyable occasion."
"We have just spent two nights here with our immediate family to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary. Everything about this hotel is first class from the rooms, the staff and the food. They really couldn’t do enough for us and made our stop very special. The restaurant manager Matt was a lovely guy and looked after us extremely well, he even gave us a small dining area to ourselves which made our stay very special. We will certainly be making a return visit and would recommend this hotel to other people! Thank you everyone at Stone Manor for looking after us so well, especially Matt! "
"Stayed here for 1 night for my anniversary. We chose the date night package which included deluxe double room, with breakfast, bottle of fizz on arrival in the room, and dinner included. It was very good value for money. The room was gorgeous, big bathroom with bath and shower. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly go back."

"We revisited the Hadley Bowling Green Inn on Tuesday night (during the pandemic) and we were impressed at the service, including being able to get a meal despite high demand created by the government restaurant scheme. Our room really big and comfortable and breakfast was pre-ordered and excellent. Chris the manager was very helpful, understanding and provided great service. Given the difficult regime in which the team had to work, we felt they were well organised and did extremely well - and that made for a great visit in difficult circumstances. We're very much looking forward to visiting the area again, and will now try other Wadworth pubs to see whether they can emulate the service provided the guys at the Bowling Green Inn."
"First time visit for me and my partner after hearing about the food from a local A warm and very friendly welcome from a man I assume to be the manager. Excellent Covid measures in place with all staff wearing face coverings and the offer of sanitation when entering. (We had to wait behind the gate to be seated). We were informed of the safety measures in place upon entering and advised of the way in and way out. Drinks order was taken promptly and given to us on a tray for us to take. Food was of excellent quality and very tasty. Overall a really enjoyable experience. You can see the staff working very hard to keep to the guidelines and we felt very safe. Well done to all we will be back."
"My work colleague found this as were both in the area we popped in for a quick bite to eat and catch up, we had a sandwich which I had hallomie which had a small side salad and fries my colleague had Salmon again with fries and salad, they had beautifully decorated for Christmas and the table setting was lovely it’s a pity I was not having a meal with my husband, we looked at the main menu and there was good choice, it a bit more upmarket but not expensive. I will visit again in a beating setting large car park and a beautiful building."

Martley Rd, Lower Broadheath, Lower Broadheath, Worcestershire, United Kingdom
"Our stay at the Bell was the last stop on a road trip to the south west and the hotel was by far the best hotel we stayed in on that trip. (see our previous Taunton review to see how to get it wrong!) The room has been refurbished to a high standard, was large and immaculately clean. As the weather was very warm a fan had already been provided in the room, which we had to use at night, but it was very quiet so didn’t disturb our sleep at all. The staff were very helpful and pleasant throughout, quick and easy check in, great service both at the bar. at dinner, and at breakfast. The food was exceptional, even something as simple as a Ploughman’s which had local produce, cheese, honey roast ham, bread and lovely house pickle. Much better than the mass produced stuff you get from the big chains. Breakfast was also lovely, again local produce, cooked perfectly with pleasant efficient service. All in all a great stay which restored our faith in using smaller hotels, which we find have staff who genuinely want to provide a great service, rather than some larger hotels who don’t have such high standards and staff who aren’t interested in customer feedback. I would highly recommend a stay at The Bell, in fact we have already booked for a return visit in May when we go to the Malvern Show."
"I stayed two nights and had dinner the first night. There is a varied menu and the chef was trying out some new dishes, a risotto starter and venison steak. I had both and they were very good. The chef came out later to ask if I enjoyed the meal. I had a spacious, well equipped room with a very comfortable bed. TV had usual Freeview channels and WiFi was very strong. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. All the staff were friendly and service was excellent. Although The Bell is in a village it's only a short drive from the centre of Worcester and very convenient."
"Great stay with lovely comfortable rooms. Amazing breakfast and super friendly and efficient staff. Great value for money. Rooms very clean and spacious considering we stayed with our two daughters on the sofa bed. Enough space for everybody . Lovely and warm pub atmosphere downstairs."

Grafton Manor, Grafton Lane, Dodford with Grafton, Worcestershire, United Kingdom
"We stayed at Grafton Manor for two days/nights to celebrate my partner’s birthday and we had the perfect stay! From the moment of booking the staff were all wonderful - so helpful and friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant and both the food and the service were exceptional. Our room was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated - plus, the bed was incredibly comfortable! We travel a fair bit and stay in a wide variety of hotels, but the service at Grafton was outstanding. Highly recommended!"
"I love this place and was pleasantly surprised to receive a night in the manor for my birthday. I was not disappointed. It was the indian food festival during our stay and the food was the best I've ever tasted. I have dietary requirements and they made every effort to accommodate. As locals I feel this place is incredibly understated. A historical building with beautiful surroundings"
"Wonderfully historic building, in beautiful grounds, if a little under water in parts. Two night stay in the Music Room, lovely and warm. Very well upgraded with beautiful modern bathroom xand excellent shower. Staff very friendly and helpful especially domestic staff. Breakfast more than adequate and knowledgeable. They are trying very hard to keep this Elizabethan Manor updated.Check out their new conference room with beautiful ceiling and fireplace. Yes there much to do but it is a few hundred years old! Wonderful for a special occasion."

Birmingham Road, Hagley, Staffordshire, United Kingdom
"We cannot praise this hotel enough, we have stayed at 5star hotels all over the world and our stay at the Premier Inn Harley was exceptional, especially the staff. First on the reception was Jack who was so helpful to all of our party (we had six rooms) he really put himself out to help us with taxis etc. Then onto the breakfast which was outstanding, everything was freshly cooked thanks to Karl and Craig the chefs and the waitresses Lauren and Wendy were amazing, making sure that everyone had everything they needed. We have stayed at other Premier Inn’s but would say that this one was by far the best. Would really recommend a stay here."
"This Premier Inn is in a great location on at times a busy dual carriage way but great views with easy travelling for local attractions and Stourbridge town. Easy access from M5 or M6. Good parking facilities and pleasant restaurant. All staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Great rooms and showers. Always get a good nights sleep in these cosy rooms. We always use Hagley Premier Inn when we visit family"
"This premier lodge is situated on a unlit road, so arriving in the dark it’s just around a bend with no lighting to show it’s there. Staff really good with check in and friendly. Room was excellent clean tidy and comfortable. No WiFi working at all, so they had a temporary one in its place which kept dropping. Only 2 reasons stopped me giving 5 stars, WiFi and no lighting on bend to show location. "

35 Hartlebury Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, United Kingdom
"We had an early morning arrival after a 24 hour journey from Sydney, after the family accommodation offered fell thru last minute. Back in Stourport for a family funeral, we managed to snag a room not long after 9.00am....which was a great help after the flight. Had a top floor room in the older part of the building (I knew this building as Mount Olympus!) so no lift, but just a couple stairs to get the luggage up. Room was unusual, with bathroom down some stairs (no door.!) but actually worked well. Lights to the room were a bit weird as only a single light switch to get downstairs (maybe some Leds going down the stairs might be an idea!). But the room was pretty well serviced, a little tired, but well prepared. Bed was lovely and comfortable, with both plug sockets and USB ports both sides of the bed (some 5 star hotels fail here!). Slept quite well. Room being at the top of the building was fairly quiet which was good. We only had a single suitcase between us, two cases in the room may have been a squeeze. F&B... Hotel has a bar and restaurant. Couple of G+Ts in front of the open fires in the front lounge keeping warm on a Pommie spring evening. Had dinner on the one night. Food OK, service again was pretty good. Breakfast had an OK spread. More fresh fruit offering could have been better (however, I'm used to Asian / APAC hotels... I do find UK hotels seem to have a small fruit offering). If the management are listening... Can you please replace the awful tinned tomatoes and replace with grilled fresh tomatoes!! Staff were helpful. Thanks to Richard for printing my speech out! If I need a hotel again when back visiting Stourport, I will use again. And certainly recommend this as a more personable hotel than a local Travelodge or Premier Inn for example."
"My family spent the night at this hotel on Monday 26th October and we booked two rooms. When we arrived there was no one on reception and so we rang the bell and waited several minutes to be greeted by a member of staff. We checked in very quickly and were given our key cards, but we was given no direction of where the rooms were and so we had to ask. We booked the hotel at late notice after seeing the photos online of the beautiful manor. However the photos are extremely misleading and the hotel/rooms we booked were very worn and in need of some desperate TLC . We actually stayed in the shabby extension off the side of the Manor in front of the carpark. The bathmat was split, the carpets were filthy and the noise from the radiators and other doors slamming kept us awake during the night so it defiantly wasn't the peaceful night we wanted before visiting the Safari Park. We used the what's app service to ask for some glasses to be brought to the room but didn't get a reply so after 45 minutes waiting i went to the reception to request them. Again no one was on reception. This is the first hotel we have stayed at where we struggled to actually find staff. We had booked our evening meal at a restaurant close by as we we knew that the bar and restaurant at the hotel was closed. However we have just seen a review below suggesting it was open for them. This seems very unfair to provide a service for one particular guest but not others. Unfortunately we didn't get our evening meal, as the restaurant we were dining at was evolved in a robbery whilst we sat waiting to order. We returned to the hotel nervous and unsettled and walked into an empty reception which made us feel uneasy that anyone could just enter the hotel as you do not require a key card to enter through the main door. Overall we are extremely disappointed with our stay and to top it all off, we then receive a parking charge. This has now been dealt with but it did give me some concerns at the time as we were unaware of any carpark restrictions at the time of checking in. I have emailed my concerns to the hotel before writing this review and they have mentioned they would provided my family with a discounted room if we was to ever return. But we would never return to this hotel after the experience we have had!! Avoid!!"
"We went as a family and needed a double and 2 family rooms and had DBB. The hotel was very accommodating about the needs of our family and staff were friendly and helpful. We had 3 nights over the half-term break and the hotel was quite busy. There was slow service in the restaurant on the Sunday, but this vastly improved on the next 2 nights. The menu remained the same for the 3 nights and it was possible to have meals a la carte which we had on the last night. The food was good and there were no complaints from any of our party. Also there was plenty of choice at breakfast time. There is a small pool in the hotel and on the first night we had to wait before others got out so that we could go in, which wasn't a problem. There is a nature reserve just over the road, which was lovely and it is very close to the West Midlands safari park, both of which we all enjoyed. The hotel has a scheme that if you do not have your room cleaned you received a voucher for a free drink. We took them up on this offer. The hard working room staff were really helpful and friendly. All in all for a reasonable priced and good value hotel I can recommend this hotel especially for those with children."

"Breakfast is very general, the room is not big, the extra bed may be a bit old fire, there is a parking lot, the car I called on Ctrip, the pit dead (I received my 838 RMB), the hotel service is very good to help call a taxi. I went to the airport and the taxi that the hotel called me for 30 pounds (I am a person), Google Maps is very convenient to find."
"Every time I prepaid the room rate, I really don't understand that every time I check out, I will be invoiced and ask me to pay the room rate. Then I have to tell them that the room rate has been paid in advance, and then wait for them to check. If you don't pay attention, it will easily appear from Paying the problem, only this hotel is like this, no words"
"Was good apart from confusion when booking in and hand to take around for a long time to sort out booking out but staff were good "
